721  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do hacks still occur? on: September 28, 2023, 06:51:40 AM
Hire all the best cyber experts in the world, bribe many hackers to work for you to prevent hack attacks and so on, there will still be some vulnerability somewhere and those hackers will be the ones finding it first.

There is nothing anyone can do to prevent hacks from happening, the only solution left is to make things harder and more complicated for hackers to find doors into your security system, make it even tougher than it was yesterday.

Be one step at least ahead of hackers, this is the solution and also make sure that as a business runner, you have collateral funds available, so that your business won't face its demise and your customers will still trust you.

Maybe in the future, a solution may occur that will make stolen funds by hackers from cryptic exchnages impossible to cater away with, but right now it's not the case.
722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the wildest thing you've ever bet on and won? on: September 27, 2023, 10:02:15 AM
Mine isn't from gambling or sports or gaming, it's actually on a being like myself, I have a friend who is handicapped, and I am the only one who knew he is a very strong guy, so we all all outside one day doing some exercises and a group of guys are coming back from the gym, so we had some conversions and that's where they challenge me to 40 push-ups, then someone bought up the idea of placing a bet, I won their cash and I created a joke saying, 40 push ups is nothing, that even my friend here can do it easily..

They all stared into their eyes and one said its impossible, and then another bet was placed and to their surprise my friend who is a handicapped beat the challenge, bearly though but he won, took their money and we called it a day.

He later revealed that he is used to 20 and 30 range, but he is short of money right now so he needed to get that money, lol, we cracked some jokes about it and till today we still talk about that day.
723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card gambling fuels gambling addiction on: September 27, 2023, 09:09:34 AM
I don't know how deep the debt on credit card gambling is today until I do my own research and mehn, and it's very sad, many people are in debt because they keep using their credit cards to fund their gambling hunger.
That's a trap for most people that don't know how to use credit cards. It is not only the gamblers that uses their credit card to fund their casino accounts but also those that keeps on swiping without paying their debt at the right time.

They think that they'll be able to pay it on time so, they're confident to just keep on using their credit cards on any purpose that they like and one of it is in gambling.

Imagine someone you know telling you that it will take him 12 years to pay off his debt, I now know why few countries don't want their citizens to gamble using their credit cards,  betting on credit cards has left too many people in thousands of debt.
It is sort of exaggerated about paying a debt for 12 years but trust me, I've known people that can't even pay their debts for more than that year and even asking for condonation and restructured payment, they still can't. That's why irresponsible usage of it will really put you on greater debt.

Which makes me think that Credit card is far more helping to fuel gambling addiction more than anything else, you don't actually have the money, but you can still gamble, this alone will make people to lose their minds and gamble anyhow.
Well, this is on the gambler themselves. Whether they have credit card or cash, as long as they have the urge to gamble, they will gamble no matter what. Let's take a look at those gamblers that don't have anything but still want to gamble, they do something to sustain that crave they have for gambling.

I'm glad I don't even like using Credit cards for gambling and my reason isn't even because of possible reckless gambling but because I don't like centralized payment solutions, you should stay away from using Credit card to gamble online, it sure would easily throw you out in the street, homeless.
Although there are too many perks that one can enjoy by owning a credit card, I choose not to own one since we're free to apply for it and the bank will just have to release it then.

I've just seen it from others that when they have it, they're like unstoppable spenders whether it's for gambling or other things they want.

If truly you've get to know people that can't ever pay their debts because the amount is enormous for them then why are you saying that paying debt for 12 years is exaggerated? In what way? Everyone knows how much they make every month, and paying back what they owe is coming from how much they make monthly, this is no exaggeration.

This fellow have wasted 30k on gambling, and he has 28,800$ left to pay back, he made not less than $300 per month, and he said he can only pay $200 back every month, do the math yourself, $200 in twelve months is $2400 and in the next 12 years that is $28,800$, I was ridiculed because of this problem he invited into his life.

I advised him to try making extra earnings, 12 years isn't a joke as he will end up working for the long term only to pay back his debt, what about his life? I advised him to figure out how to earn more money monthly because that's the only solution I can think of, it's not exaggeration,  it's something that's still fresh.
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You choose the best site. 💪 on: September 27, 2023, 08:12:50 AM
Gambling is generally for everyone who have money or who don't have enough money, you can earn 20 dollars every month and gamble with $2 every month, you just need to cut your clothes to your own size.

Bitcoin is safer because it's not a gambling platform, that's a valid point but you can still lose money with Bitcoin as well, hackers can steal your coins from you if you are not very careful with what you do online.

Be responsible with everything, nothing is safe because everything carries a risk at least, not even our lives are safe, we sleep everyday and wake up the following morning, but not everyone walked up the next day, some died in their sleep.

All you need is understanding what you are getting into, understand the risks of gambling vs the risk of investing in Bitcoin, and be responsible enough to keep your financial life safe from possible never ending debts.
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: September 27, 2023, 07:50:22 AM
Gambling starts to be less fun and very serious when you create a mindset of getting a steady income from it, I always say that if people truly understand the existence of gambling they won't tale it very seriously, it's a shame to see many people spending lots of money on gambling as if it's an investment option.

All you can do when something is all about luck is to try, there is nothing here to keep pushing hard at, this is not your business where discounts can attract more customers to your office, this is not Bitcoin investment where you can't lose your money unless you sell and take your loss.

Gambling analysis in sports games like football is not a strategy because it doesn't work most times, the luck part of gambling is always too powerful, gambling and strategy is crap, even if it works today it's luck, you don't believe me? Try again some other time, you will get your answer.

726  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Life lesson]Nothing is really free on: September 26, 2023, 10:20:13 AM
It took me quite a long time to understand that nothing is really free, to the least you will be giving away your time. If you don't find whatever you do worthy of your time, don't do it.
Time is money. This is the one thing that's always on my mind. Whenever I wake up in the morning, I always think of the things that I must do on that day, and will make me productive if I do that thing/s. For example, if I work on that day, that makes me productive.

There's no such thing as free money in this world. If only there is, we might not see poor people anymore. We aren't living in a Utopia, but we are living in a cruel world where you need something to get something in return.

Ppc, faucets and such are waste of time to earn money. If you put the same amount of time in learning some valuable skill you will earn better.
Maybe it's time to add bounty campaigns in the list, eh?

I mean for me, it's a waste of time joining into bounty campaigns already. I'm pertaining to those bounty campaigns that're paying the participants with their own native tokens. You will advertise the project, and in return you will be paid a few bucks... ohhh wait if you're lucky, you will be paid. Some if not most of the bounty campaigns aren't paying the participants, and if they are being paid, sometimes that token doesn't have any value at all. Quite unfortunate TBH.
Not yet, Bounties are still paying real money but not enough, the allocations are not worth is anymore so bounties are slowly fading away, there are few bounties that are still worth giving a try, like those projects from Julerz12, they aren't that bad, I can also see few casino campaigns paying with USDT, I believe this is better than Airdrops today.

If you are very good with finding altcoin gems I believe you will be able to avoid crap list of bounties in altcoin bounties section of the forum, for someone like me it's a piece of cake as I can easily filter the bad ones among the few good bounties.

The best bounty I saw in the altcoin section was Cocos that was renamed to Combo, that project did well in last bull market, follow the likes of Vulcan Forged and Alchemy Pay.

Maybe by next year, new projects will show up on the forum, but honestly, alts bounties are the those who are strong at the mind, many will turn to shit and few will do very well, it depend on if you are ready to take the risk.

728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards on: September 26, 2023, 08:30:43 AM
How many people are gambling using credit cards? They should try banning gambling through crypto as well if truly they want to stop their people from gambling, many gamblers around the world don't like using credit card for gambling , it's not private.

I remember in 2020 the UK gambling commission also announced a ban on credit cards for gambling payments, they claimed that some gamblers with higher level of debts are using credit cards to facilitate their gambling behaviours, I believe gamblers are gambling with borrowed money which is at a high alarming rate.

I think the same thing is happening in Australia right now, so yes I don't see anything wrong about this ban on Credit cards, they have given such gamblers a name, the problem gamblers, they believe that gambling with credit cards will lead to financial problem, too many people are in debt via loan platforms and credit card.
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is only Bitcoin and nothing else on: September 26, 2023, 07:48:45 AM
I don't always care about the past, what is gone is gone, the only time I feel sad about my past is because it involved a lot life, I miss my father and I wish he is still here, but for anything financial, there is no point holding on to the past.

Also, those of you complaining about a coin that turned shit, would you do the same if the opposite happened? If LUNA never collapsed and it turn holders into big whales today will you all be out here complaining?

Why are we hearing about the dead coins? What about those that are still very good right even while bears are taking over the market? Any Polygon whale on here? It's was 0.004$ per Polygon years ago and holding till date still makes you a whale isn't it?

People tend to complain only when things are not going fine, we should learn to share the happy stuffs on here too, many alts are crap but not all of them will fail, you can't rely on a single coin and call it a crypto portfolio.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: September 25, 2023, 10:21:20 AM
There is a mistake that some people make when they want to gamble at a casino, they plan to risk $30 for example and they go ahead and make a larger deposit, why a larger deposit when you aren't ready to lose all that money?

Even if you have $30 to risk in mind, since your Bankroll is more than $30 you will end up using more money to gamble, you can't make plans in mind, the mind is different from being disciplined, being disciplined leads to the right actions.

If $30 is all you can right then deposit only that amount on the casino, if you lose all that money it's better, you can feel bitter but that's for the day or week, you should be able to easily shut down your computer and walk away, but if you have a larger bankroll waiting in your balance, you will be easily tempt to use more money to gamble on that same day.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Difference Between Plying Gambling on Online Sites and Real Casinos? on: September 25, 2023, 08:04:33 AM
I've never liked a casino that's based offline because of a few things that have happened in my street before, Violence and fights in a gambling den have caused some law enforcement agencies to raid some casinos before and I don't like it.

Gangs and criminals also visit casinos and to me, it's not safe to be around such people, you can make a lot of money and they will mark your face, some have forcefully asked a guy to pay them half of the money he just won, and the guy refused, they stab him on the chest and this guy bleed to death, this happened a few years back, I am thinking it's the year 2020.

I've vowed to never visit any casino nearby to gamble in my life, thanks to advanced technology and the internet, I can become a gambler without anyone knowing that I am a gambler, and also people are used to degrading you as a gambler, they believe you are on a journey of no return, that you will end up destroying your life, nothing is better than gambling online and responsibly.
732  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Accumulating Bitcoin with ease on: September 25, 2023, 07:33:59 AM
I don't need to confuse anyone to pay me in Bitcoin because not everyone have Bitcoin in their wallet, not everyone cares having Bitcoin in my country, and those that do want to hold their Bitcoin for long term, they treasure it more than spending it like money.

As per your point, if I have a specialty or a skill then that's more than enough for me to start accumulating Bitcoin, I won't mind getting paid in Fiat/Paper money, I will just have to use the money to purchase Bitcoin, Viola! I am now a Bitcoin holder.

To all readers out there, you don't have to work for someone and except them to pay you in Bitcoin before you start holding some Bitcoin, if you have no job, go out and learn a skill then start using some percentage of the money you make to accumulate Bitcoin.

I am a fashion designer and I use to accept Bitcoin as payment, but not all my customers like paying me with Bitcoin, only very few numbers of people do, like four to five of them, and they are also investors, they prefer to hold and there are times they said I will have to get paid in Fiat for now, still I don't let this stop me from my DCA ( Dollar Cost Averaging ) every week, I can get paid in Fiat, no problem, but I will just visit Binance exchange and swap my Fiat to Bitcoin.
733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: September 25, 2023, 06:29:52 AM
Are people really paying tax on the money they won from casinos? If this is possible then it's illegal, maybe some group of people are illegally taking tax from gamblers on their wins without been authorized by the government.

In my country many illegal taxes are being paid by the people, and that's because many people don't know their rights, they aren't educated and some who are even educated are dumb like zombies.

Several cases later got busted after many people have paid some official workers illegally, see everyone is fighting for their own good, either illegal or legal they don't care, if you are tax for winning money on casinos you should seek help from a lawyer, or get a police man and ask him, they will bring light to this for you, it might be illegal and some group of people might be behind it, even government workers are doing illegal activities using the government names.

Be a wise being.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling game is not good and everyone should stay away from it on: September 24, 2023, 04:06:21 PM
For some people, gambling is a good thing, but for others, it's a bad thing. It's a matter of choice and you don't have to endure it. If you feel gambling will ruin you, you ought to stay far from it. If you believe gambling can get you somewhere, you run the risk of losing your head to addiction, but you can benefit from it in the long run if you can control yourself.

There is no need to argue about which side is better, we have different mindsets so everyone is free to make a choice. For someone like me, I prefer to gamble once in a while and I believe that this is what should happen, since constant gambling is what causes the mind to form false expectations.

There are few things in the crypto world that are more reliable for making money than gambling, so gamble when you have the spare money, and don't expect to win either way. Crypto investment, trading, and bitcoin mining, for instance, require skills and time, not luck, so I prefer to be addicted to them more than gambling.

Outhue.
735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No KYC vs KYC enabled casinos (Facts you need to know) on: September 24, 2023, 01:03:50 PM
The only fact that everyone needs to know about No KYC casinos is they are probably into illegal activities like frauds and money laundering.

Normal every good online casinos is to be registered, to avoid money laundering and crime activities through the platform, a new casino can start as a no kyc platform but they will eventually start asking for KYC, unless the team have some plans to stay out of the law radar but such online casinos are not good for customers.

You can become a victim of fraud easily to no kyc casinos because they mostly are not operating under the law, they are not regulated or pass any legal source to start running the business, the earlier you know the better.

If the no kyc casino is a good one, they will one day start to ask for KYC, that day will come as they will want to grow bigger in the future too, expand their business, and that's how they will have to go by the book and do the necessary things to stay in business.
736  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No matter the pressure don't release on: September 24, 2023, 12:13:13 PM
If you are a newbie in crypto space, you need to be guide on how to go with p2p transactions on exchanges, not all crypto exchanges give good guidance, I do like how binance do it's thing but still, Binance isn't a real peer to peer crypto exchange, since you will be asked to pass your KYC information, I don't like the idea but there aren't too many good p2p services online this days, most are centralized in disguise.

No one should have a problem with transacting online unless they don't follow the rules, I've never lost money on any p2p platform except for Paxful, they have bad customer service and their network sucks, I heard from a friend that they have improved, it's been several years that I used that platform last.

The most important tricks that people play online with P2P trades is wasting your time, making you lose your patience, or sending you fake alert, before you release crypto for anyone, make sure you log into your bank account and make sure they paid the expected fund before clicking on fund received or you will lose your money, p2p trades requires your patient.
737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 24, 2023, 11:02:39 AM
I am not supporting any side, because it's true that some people put all blames on casinos while they are the ones at fault, they don't take their time to read through gambling websites' Terms of Service, but some casinos intentionally use TOS to cheat their customers, they adjust rules in Tos without sending notifications to all all their customers, and they will wait patiently till you break that rules and you will be the one at fault.

Both sides are to be blamed in this case because casinos do cheat and customers do break the rules and blame the casino for it.

I don't like reading Tos myself too because its frustrating as times but I forced myself to because I don't want nonsense later on, I have found myself using screenshots to take pictures of their rules just in case they change them later without telling us.

Laziness can get you punished when using a gambling platform or even a crypto exchange platform for the first time, so I advise we get used to reading the rules of every online casinos before using the platform.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 23, 2023, 10:59:31 AM
I could remember when I was young, my father always warn me to stay away from gambling, he said it will destroy you fast and he also made mention of some family members who ruined their lives with gambling addiction, he strongly believed that it will mess me up if I go into it, and thankfully, he saw an hope in Bitcoin investment, my father never act like old people do, we all know that older people believes less in technology but not my father, he made me, I am who I am today because of him, even when Bitcoin was just hundreds of dollars in value, my father believed that Bitcoin will work, till this day I am still surprised that my father thinks differently, like he knew something about Bitcoin's future.

I believe its a bad habit to gamble in from of your kids, they are too smart for everything, they catches every move around them, good or bad, your environment is what will reshape your children.

When I was 10 years old, I nearly turned into a smoker, because I have an uncle who was one, I was spending holiday with his family then and I felt like trying it out, because I thought it's cool to smoke some cigarettes, I tried it and my father dealt with me for doing it and he stopped me from visiting my uncle again, he died before my father and the cause was cancer.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hate speech and it impacts on bitcoin on: September 23, 2023, 10:08:43 AM
Ignorant is a big disease, if anyone hates Bitcoin it's because they know nothing about it or they are in the governments office, making decisions that only benefits centralization, normal people living around me today have no knowledge about technology, when something like Bitcoin can give you money, they call it a scam or Ponzi, without them trying to figure out what Bitcoin truly is.

My message to such people is to keep hating, since I've knew about Bitcoin there are countless of hate speeches from people, even from popular figures in the world, but the smart ones later started buying Bitcoin and took their hate speech back, like seriously, you can't or shouldn't judge what you don't understand.

Some set of people lacks the courage to change their lives, when they see challenges or failure from anything online, to them, automatically everything online and the internet is a scam, they don't even bother to learn from their own mistakes, sadly there is no way to change their minds, the world will ways be full of such people.
740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: September 23, 2023, 09:20:50 AM
Gambling can affects your relationship if you are a stupid gambler who don't have any gambling boundaries, who is less responsible and only think about becoming a millionaire through gambling, there is 1000 percent chance that the gamblers plan will fail and he will end up broke, this is why a gambler must learn how to gamble safely and responsibly, so that even if the gambling journey doesn't end well you will have other things going on in your life financially.

Everyone understands the risk but they fail to take it serious, I've seen few gamblers knowing how risky gambling is but they still end up getting nailed to the wall because of gambling, if they truly understand the risk why did they end up like that?

Gambling addiction comes with a lot of bad results, you will lose your best friends and your loved ones, you will end up be alone, because they are there warning you about gambling, trying to stop you from addiction, but you aren't helping yourself.
