721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Christmas And BTC? on: November 24, 2018, 02:49:00 PM
I was just wondering, to those experts on bitcoin, because I have seen that bitcoin suddenly lay low in going up, and now even plunges.  I needed your opinion.

Does Christmas or any holidays affects bitcoin?
Please elaborate. Thanks a lot

Sometimes Christmas and other events can affect btc price in the market because some peoples need to sell their coins in order to buy present or other needs in some particular events. Look at this year, even Christmas not yet begin, the btc and other coins price has crashed in the market.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My thoughts on bounty rewards on: November 23, 2018, 02:21:54 AM
I still don't get the main reason why people picks on the bounty hunter that they dump their coin whenever they received them.
My question is why do you have to complain on me selling or holding, do you have to decide what a worker should do with his or her earned money as if you both share same bills.

And if possible that their are a lot of dumper which partake in a particular bounty maybe just 60% of them in a 1% share of the total supply, so someone should explain affect the market price.

You guys just have to let we hunters be and sell at our convenient time.

Due this bearish market that keep continuing worse, there are no good rewards for bounty hunters.
Even if the ICO companies managed to pay them and list the token, investors will dump the token and the hunters won't have a good price to sell.
Just wait for the market to recover, so both investors and hunters won't dump the token.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins on: November 23, 2018, 02:05:35 AM
Just noticed we have 100+ stable coins in the market presently. Do you feel it will have a negative impact or positive one?

There are no stable coins in cryptocurrency, unless they have a strong product that have been used by many peoples in real world.
When bitcoin down, almost all coins are going down too. Even for now, you can see in coinmarketcap that only some coins which have a green trend price, the others are red and going down the trend.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will the miner do when 21 million Bitcoins is mined? on: November 22, 2018, 02:58:57 AM
Everyone knows the world has a total of 21 million bitcoins and a total of 17 million bitcoins have been mined. So what happens when 21 million bitcoins are exploited?

As far as I know miners have two sources of income when exploiting bitcoin that is:
1. Be rewarded with bitcoin from the number of deals they handle.
2. The main reward: the bitcoin reward, for each bitcoin block to be exploited.

When 21 million Bitcoins are mined, the second source of income will be gone. So how will the bitcoin network do when there are no miners? I do not think that with only a single source of income, it may be profitable for them when the Bitcoin price goes down.

I look forward to receiving an explanation from someone and thanks!

I think before btc have been fully mined, the miners of btc has gone mining other coins already. Mining a nearly fully mined coin will make you gain lesser coin from it. But the lesser you get from mining it, usually the value of the coin will become much more expensive and not going cheaper in the market.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INTERNET = BITCOIN? on: November 22, 2018, 02:44:51 AM
why i made a title like that because basically the internet has the same properties with bitcoin ie:
1. Equally made by humans if bitcoin was made in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, while the Internet was created from a computer network established by the US Department of Defense in 1969.
2. The first equation between Bitcoin and the Internet is that Bitcoin is an efficient, decentralized and moving infrastructure based on protocols open to the public.

and for the difference include:
Bitcoin does not transfer data packets in a dynamic network and circuitry like the one on the internet, but builds trust among users to run its systems efficiently and decentralized.
Although you can argue that the ledger, Bitcoin is "central", it is actually created through decentralized mechanical consensus.
how do you think it all?

Maybe for currently, yes you will need internet to using bitcoin. Except for creating btc address only, you can create it offline and don't need internet.
Bitcoin is a digital currency, it must be used by everyone so the value will sustain through the year. Btc is decentralized because the blockchain database is not centralized, how come you say btc is centralized ?
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's go to Singapore! We can pay with Btc there. on: November 21, 2018, 03:27:51 AM
I saw this article today: https://news.bitcoin.com/singapore-regulatory-framework-cryptocurrency-payment-services/ about paying with cryptocurrencies in Singapore.
The central bank has finalized the new regulatory framework for payment services and they have included cryptocurrencies.
I think this is the future of banking and something that all countries should start doing.
The plus of making this change in the financial system is that there will be less money laundering and terrorism financing risks in the crypto world which is good for normal people that have hope and invest in online coins but bad for the ones that use the online coins for the reasons mentioned before.

What do you think? Is it a good idea to introduce cryptocurrencies in the financial systems of the world's countries?

That is really a good news for me because i often go to singapore. The most thing i like in singapore is the transportations.
MRT is my usual transportation. If we can use crypto to pay riding MRT, then it will be a good thing because can create more public awareness about cryptocurrency. And yes, it is a good idea in my opinion if cryptocurrency introduced in many countries financial system.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to see for Bitcoin - A stable or a volatile market? on: November 21, 2018, 03:05:21 AM
The question is very simple as the subject line says,

Do you want to see a stable bitcoin market price or a volatile market price?

Please cast your vote and give us the reasons for your choice!

I know such kind of topic can potentially attract a large number of spam so I have kept it as self moderated! Any invalid reply will be deleted!

Both of them have advantage and disadvantage for the users indeed. If btc price volatile, traders will be able to gain more profit, or more losses.
If the btc price stable, it will be good for the holders. So, i think i will prefer for btc price going stable in the market.
The unstable price in the market causing peoples afraid to buying coins, and the price will going worse.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin bankruptcy on: November 21, 2018, 02:53:08 AM
decentralized currency. feels like freedom but really feels like bankruptcy. down 4000$ this week. hard earn money gone. last two months suppose to be a bull run the signs are everywhere. how did it tank . so sad . the dip keeps on dipping. when u btfd but it betrayed u. not sure how the upcoming recession is going to react to bitcoin. sounds like 4500 a bitcoin. sounds like getting rekt sum more.

It is not a bankruptcy, just a collapse of the bitcoin price in the market.
Your money is not gone if you have not sell your coin. The last two months were just a movement of btc price in the market, no sign of bull.
If you think btc price will gone more deeper, you may sell it and buy back it later.
729  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Payment method on: November 21, 2018, 02:44:51 AM
To start with, I’am owner of a small coffee shop and the business goes well now, because we caught the wave in the right time several years ago. Now, ofc crypto will be on the peak, but I’am afraid not in my country yet. We are planning start-up (fast food) and want to stand up from the crowd by adding crypto as a payment method. Who have an experience/ knowledge of such integration, help me please with the process  step by step?

It is a good things to have peoples like you who wants to make the other peoples using cryptocurrency as a payment method because it will bring more peoples into cryptocurrency. To adding crypto as your payment method, you need to learn how to make your own cryptocurrency.
Maybe you can choose the ETH network to create your own token, and later you can make your own main net.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: November 19, 2018, 02:46:46 AM
If you holding with blind eyes, then yes, it will not getting you anywhere.
Holding smart is the best option to do now. You can analyze the market condition whether you must hold it or sell it in the market.
Another thing to do with your coins is, use it as a real currency. When you have btc, use it to create more awareness to other peoples.
When the others aware of btc, they will seek for btc and buy it, thus the value of btc will increase.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reducing scam on: November 19, 2018, 02:21:40 AM
Kind time of the day, with every day in ICO we meet more and more fraud. It is clear that no one forces us to invest in these projects. But the idea of a cryptocurrency does not imply any regulatory department. What do you think that could help in solving this problem? I just see only that the advisors were responsible, or they took a pledge from the projects they are entering.

Cryptocurrency scam in ICO will reduced itself slowly, you can see by the number of ICOs and the investors now, very few.
The time will tell, the scam and fraud project won't survive because many investors are smarter now, always researching and take due diligence before investing. So, only a good and real ICO will manage to success in the future.
732  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Transferred out 110,000 BTC on: November 17, 2018, 05:07:13 PM
Monitored by CoinNess.com, a Binance wallet address starting with 16ftSE sent 109,234 BTC to a wallet address starting with 34xp4v.
What gonna happen...

If they sent btc from binance, it is a good thing because they didn't sell their bitcoin in binance which could creating more dump price for bitcoin.
Anyway, the current market is very bad, you cannot predict anything in such market. Everything is possible, even the market still possible to recovery suddenly after this dump.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ⚡⚡⚡ BITCOIN for Long-term investment ⚡⚡⚡ on: November 17, 2018, 04:58:24 PM
⚡⚡⚡ Bitcoin We all know Bitcoin is a digital currency that is very popular now and even becomes a safe and fast payment and transaction tool that cannot predict when Bitcoin can go up and down it all depends on technology in the market or it can also happen in countries big countries use Bitcoin as a legal or official payment instrument and we also have countries that have started legalizing Bitcoin except the United States (US)
and therefore maybe Bitcoin can be made the right investment place safe and promising for profit

What do you say, maybe you can explain and give advice ...  Grin Grin Grin

Bitcoin is basically a currency, and not suitable for holding. If everyone holding bitcoin, it's price won't going up because there are no use case.
You must use bitcoin, as a real currency so other peoples will using btc too. If many peoples using btc, the demand of btc will increase, and of course the price. So, if you have bitcoin, use it partly and save some.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market has recovered? on: November 16, 2018, 05:00:57 AM
coinmarketcap was full blue. Beautiful June is taking place

It is not recovering, the market keep going down to the deeper ocean  Roll Eyes
June was only the beginning of bear market, the real bear market is now, when bitcoin price is lower than $6000.
Many peoples hoping for bull market after this bear market, but the sign of bull market is no where to be seen.
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why everyone becoming the holder? on: November 16, 2018, 04:43:11 AM
I think there are many peoples who wants to hold their coins because the price is too bad to do any short or selling movement in the market.
The market condition in this moment like a bad situation for us. But for some peoples, they prefer to sell to cut their loss.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy back every thing on: November 15, 2018, 11:46:54 AM
I think it is time to buy BTC and alts step by step.
We may not see this price again.

We all want to do that too, but what if the dips is not done yet ? We afraid that we price in the market keep go to the bottom, and that is the cause why we are not buy back everything yet now. Anyway, i think in this kind of market, better keep an eye on the market and ready to buy back if there is something happening in the crypto.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no demand but the Alts Do! on: November 15, 2018, 11:32:52 AM
Since the 2 pumps the price of Bitcoin has gone sideways: NO DEMAND
Alts have increased in price!
Logic says Bitcoin is going down unless another whale pumps!

Actually bitcoin demand is high enough to make the volume in the market. You can see the dominance of crypto market is on bitcoin.
Altcoins value is not stable as bitcoin. When ETH price was down few months ago, bitcoin still above $6000 in the market,
But now, the market became worst because the price keep falling if you see coinmarketcap now.  Embarrassed
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too difficult to understand? on: November 14, 2018, 03:59:43 AM
I think we don't need to understand about all the work of bitcoin. Do you think we must understand about the algorithm of bitcoin ?
The value itself show that bitcoin is a valuable currency. What we must understand is why bitcoin value is very expensive.
so we will know if we need to buy bitcoin or not. Understanding difficult things about bitcoin and crypto is only pain yourself.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should governments accept Crypto currencies? on: November 14, 2018, 03:42:25 AM
We are led to believe that almost all governments are corrupt and that most officials and even leaders of the world are bought.

We saw this for instance with the US elections where rumours are doing the rounds that massive amounts of money were channelled from foreign countries to influence the outcome of the election. This money had to be laundered through shell companies via Banks and complex money laundering systems.

All of this leaves paper trails and this can later be followed and investigated to find the true origin of this money.

Now think about this, why would "corrupt" governments want to appose Bitcoin and Crypto currencies, if they can use it to hide their "corrupt" practices? Would it not make sense just to allow it and then use it to further their political aspirations?

The push back from these corrupt governments does not make any sense. Could it be that they know that Bitcoin and Crypto currencies are not "anonymous" at all and that these transactions can be traced and for this reason they are apposed to it?

Curious to know what you are thinking.  Wink

Well, maybe if they accept bitcoin to hide their "corrupted asset", maybe they will be found out by other peoples about their corruption.
Actually, some of the coins are anonymous enough if you not using any centralized exchange to transact your coins, for example Monero.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do investors think about ICO? on: November 13, 2018, 02:47:29 AM
Dear investor!
I have never invested in any ICO. I saw that most of the token / coin after being list on exchange was depreciated by more than 50%. Are you disappointed or all of that is in your plan ?
Thank you!

It was because many ICOs with no real product has been created, causing many investors who invested to their project doesn't get the return of their investment. I think ICO is a long term investment, so investors will have to wait for quite long time to let the ICO company do the product development.
I am not disappointed because ICO has some risks to participate.
