721  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinmarketcap vs worldscoinindex on: September 11, 2017, 04:34:37 PM
I don't know why when looking through coinmarketcap and worldcoinindex, both site have different prices for BTC and alt coins. which site is more accurate?

It really depends on what data they are processing. I think coinmarketcap is using a lot more data than worldcoinindex. Which could mean it is much more accurate, however, if they are using a lot of different exchanges and some of those exchanges are showing pretty high or low prices then that will change the results drastically even if they should not be calculated with the same weight as those exchanges that has very high volume.
722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: September 08, 2017, 10:51:26 AM
trading need more time to get the profit, and gambling can quickly get rich (if you lucky),but gambling has a high risk

Gambling is fast and you will have a fast time to lose too. It will be hard for those people that only gambles but don't know how to trade. I'm a gambler and also a trader but I find it more profitable in trading because it gives me a lot of chance to earn unlike in gambling when you lose, it's hard to recover almost everything.
well, gambling is very fast can make a lot of money for us. but, if you're not lucky, it could backfire for you. honestly, I prefer trading from gambling, because trading still has a great chance to benefit from gambling.
Both involve risk but gambling risk can neither be analyzed nor be mitigated. Also, trading gives us huge profits while gambling is not even a mean of earning. Gambling is a game while trading is a profession and traders are seen with more respect as compare to gamblers. At least, I do.
Actually trading sometimes feel like a game , yeaaa a game of money / game of predicting.
Both is so similar , but basically trading considered as a legitimate one to get a profitable income.
As gambling is -EV , you cannot expect always having profit there.

In trading, as long as you are not doing the margin trading, you are good because you will have the altcoins you bought forever to you and you will only going to profit or lose the time you sell it. So, if the price is down, better not sell it yet and only sell it to the price that you are already profitable.
Trading is much better than gambling.  In the trading, there are a little chances of a loss if you are not doing trading at the margin or edge. This is because your altcoins will remain saved up besides as long as the prices are not high enough to deal with them. On the other hand gambling could earn you huge losses only in a matter of seconds.
I also prefer trading over gambling. Gambling is just a game, which most things to earn profits from whereas trading is a source of income. In my opinion, both are poles apart and a comparison between them is just a joke. Trading gives profits and its chances are always high.

Gambling is indeed just a game, some people believe that gambling is like investing in fast forward, since in investing there is still that we rely sometimes in luck to profit. But generally the risks in trading is quite different from gambling. In trading you can minimize risks because you can execute some strategy that can do this, however in gambling you cannot change the outcome of a dice roll.
723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Does bitcoin's price volatility affect your gambling habits? on: September 08, 2017, 10:37:14 AM
So does this factor affect how you gamble?

If prices go up, do you lower you bets? For example, you normally bet 0.001 per bet, do you lower it to 0.0001 per bet?

If prices go down, do you place higher bets? For example, you normally bet 0.001 per bet, do you place higher bets like 0.01 per bet?
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gamblers here who are in Debt ? on: September 08, 2017, 10:26:28 AM
Gamblers with Debt is not new. Many of Gamblers (Addict Gamblers) had debts. I personally experienced that long time ago when I'm addicted to a dice game. I borrow some BTC for my friend in exchange for my salary for a month. I lose multiple times and wasted my 2 months salary just on playing Dice. I remember PD was the Dice site where I lose money.  Cheesy
As I've said, Gamblers with Debts is normal.   Cool

Yeah maybe gamblers with debts is normal because we always see and we known some of them that are really addicted in gambling. In short it's not new in our community. As for me, I'm not addicted in gambling, I always control myself whenever I play. Maybe I'm just treating gambling for fun and not for profit. If I win or lose then its okay and call it a day.

I dont think gamblers with debts are normal. I for some reason is addicted to gambling but not in the point i am in debt. I experienced going home feeling down because of losses but never it occured in my mind to gamble until in debt. You are just paying some madeup money that were never urs in the 1st place. Better lost your money than lose money you dont have.

Gamblers should never have debts because of gambling. If a gambler has debts because of gambling that means there is a really big problem here since he is already addicted and he is gambling money he cannot afford to lose. The result of gambling money you cannot afford to lose is that you will definitely be in debts of because in the event you lose that money then that means you definitely need to pay that back somehow.
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that those who own and run casinos are criminals or conmen? on: September 08, 2017, 10:20:54 AM
In my opinion, they are not. It is with the players if they agree to the terms and conditions of the casino. That ToC includes agreeing to the house edge of the casino.
If you agreed to that and the casino does not employ any cheats then that will be a binding contract between the two. If you lose then that is on you and it is not
anyone's fault and no one is criminally liable.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: September 08, 2017, 10:15:23 AM
If I managed to win it means it's my day. Even if the win is still not very large, then I will be happy that I got the victory, and did not lose all the money. And if you're lucky enough to get a jackpot, then this will be a lucky day.
But tis is the issue with luck you are not going to know that it is your lucky day after the fact, after you won some money in the casino, there is no way to know that is your lucky day before it happens because if you could know that then you could make a fortune in a small time span.

Honestly luck does not exist.  People call it luck if things is unexplainable for them or they do not know why it happen.  But for those who are smart enough to quit while they are winning, a luck is created.  Remember the probability of winning the game is there and not controlled by us.  But the decision to quit while winning is on us.  You can never be called lucky if you end up losing all your money.  But if you quit while winning, people can call it  a lucky day for you, but in fact it is you who made it a lucky day for you.

I agree with this. Luck is just something we made up to explain that we statistically won something which we can do but since there is house edge there is lower chances of winning compared to without it. But since we won something and we cannot explain how we did it, we say we got lucky on our bets. We call hitting the right number statistically as luck.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are the Big Gambling sites paying taxes? on: September 08, 2017, 10:02:08 AM
Probably it depends on their jurisdiction where they are operating. If the casinos registered with the country where they operate for sure they will have to be taxed by that government for operating there. Though, I think a lot of casinos are not even registered and they don;t even declare the operators of the site.
728  Economy / Gambling / Re: Watch streaming live on stake.com on: September 07, 2017, 07:15:02 PM
Haven't seen any other dude doing this and I have gone through few of your live video, looks like there is some interest from the community to watch live bitcoin based online gaming.

Good luck and hope you will not loss all you have by end of the streaming.  Grin

For your info, if you haven't been to the giveaways section, there are plenty of people streaming for stake.com there! Even back when there was only primedice they really promoted streaming for purposes of promotions. Not sure though if these streamers are really profiting from what they are doing, I am guessing not really. Because the required number of viewers are pretty high.
729  Economy / Gambling / Re: A non-martingale PrimeDice script! So far so good! on: September 07, 2017, 07:12:31 PM
Even though your strategy/script is not martingale, it can't guarantee that you will only make profit with this one.
Do you have any screenshot of actual gameplay and results which you can share here? You have only shared plain script without any real world simulation or stats.

Even if he does share those results, it doesn't matter, because in the end it will just lose and will never win in the long run. No gambling script, method, strategy or whatever action that require repetition will work in gambling. If something like that ever did work, then don't you guys think that the casinos would have closed a long time a go because there was a way to cheat the system through these methods?
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling? on: September 07, 2017, 06:46:18 PM
I never have lost time for anything due to gambling. I would say that it is not a good thing to be caught up in such an addiction or bad habit. Gambling is indeed fun and entertaining, but it is not something I will let control of my time or especially my life. Just play wisely and responsibly and everything will absolutely be fine.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most people prefer hyip and doubler but not provably fair games? on: September 07, 2017, 10:15:17 AM
Hi,

Why most people prefer hyip and doubler but not provably fair games?
In hyip and double will been result: lost money
In provably fair game: they can win good amount

Those people that like hyip and doublers are people that do not actually gamble, they think these hyips and doublers are real investment opportunities that will give them a lot of profit, but in reality they are nothing but scams that will run away with their money. So I think they are just delusional in thinking they will profit big time from these scams!
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gamblers here who are in Debt ? on: September 07, 2017, 09:16:25 AM
Whenever i remember my bad times i remember those peoples also who lost their everything in this gambling addiction. i want to know what you think about such peoples and how they need to survive after so much losses in their life.
I personally knows some people who are in big debt and they even cant recover that debt and tries to commit suicide every time . so guys can you tell me whats the best solution for them regain their happiness in their life ?

This thread is only for those peoples opinion who faced such situations and recovered or atleast know how to tackle such situations in easy way ( btw i know its not easy )

Just don't kill themselves! Life really has a lot of things still to offer than just be miserable and thinking to kill themselves! The problem is that people get narrow minded whenever faced with problems. They think it is the end of the world of them and the only solution is to kill themselves. Well they are wrong, they can still pay back those debts and they can still live a happy life. It may be hard, but that is the consequence of what they did.
733  Economy / Gambling / Re: Watch streaming live on stake.com on: September 07, 2017, 08:31:43 AM
I think this should be in the giveaways sections of the gambling sections. This isn't the place for this and for sure someone will move this. Probably on your next thread, please post it there.

Just curious, where there are so many people streaming that new gambling site? I guess you stake is offering a lot of money if there would be a lot of streams like this.
734  Economy / Gambling / Re: Planetwin 365 or William Hill ? on: September 06, 2017, 11:40:55 PM
I just want to know the qualities and the defects of each one, and this by means of your experiments !

I would say that you should just stick to the most used ones like nitrogensports. But if you are looking to gamble at casinos that were originally just fiat and does accept bitcoins nowadays, then william hill is good, as well as 5dimes and bet365.

Can't really list their advantages and disadvantages as I haven't tried using them.
735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Favorite Bitcoin Gambling Site? on: September 06, 2017, 11:34:14 PM
What's you favorite bitcoin lottery or gambling site? What makes it your favorite? Give me your input.  Thanks guys!  Smiley

Just to be clear there are so many threads that had the same question all over the gambling discussion section and not really something unique to answer.
But for the sake of argument, I love fortune jack all the way! there is no doubt this is the best casino on the forum and I am not just saying that because I am advertising for them, but because I believe in their projects and it has never scammed anyone!
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Lucky moments during gambling? on: September 06, 2017, 11:26:16 PM
Luckiest moment gambling for me is when I won a small tournament of a gambling site. Well, that was the best I had. Nothing really big yet. I wish I can be more lucky in gambling like the rest of the people that can brag a lot of nice stories in gambling. All I have are great loss storries and it's sometimes very depressing to hear about it.
737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Board games on: September 06, 2017, 11:20:09 PM
Any websites out there that let you bet on board games playing against actual people?  I know there used to be one but it was shutdown quite awhile ago.  Let me know if anyone has something out that is similar!

I don't think there are so many gambling sites that have this kind of these. Especially in bitcoin. Maybe there is some for fiat but not really in bitcoins. Since this is gambling, I don't also think that there are a lot of people looking at playing these. Not sure if a lot of people will enjoy it, maybe there will not be so much playing it anyway.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite game (gambling) on: September 05, 2017, 04:08:53 PM
Dice and sports betting will always be my favorite, but I always try and find something new to play. Those new crash games, bustabit, are pretty fun too.
Then I also like those table card games, like blackjack. The least of my favorites are slots, sometimes it really gets so complicated to play those and hard to
interpret the results.
739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your first betting? on: September 05, 2017, 03:43:27 PM
I would say that my first bet was when I was a kid. We were betting on magic cards. This was a lot fun back then, I had plenty of good cards so I won a lot. The money I won I always used it to buy more booster packs. That is why I was always able to improve my deck and won some more. Another profit from it was that whenever I get a card I don't need, I can sell it.
740  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ETC or BCH gambling site on: September 03, 2017, 11:52:31 PM
Want to ask is there any ETC and BCH gambling site? There are so many site opened but most of them are crypto that already on sky high, like doge, ltc and others. ETC and BCH sure worth to gamble with, if anyone know please mentioned it here with some link if you guys need to or their thread will do

Doge is sky high? No so sure about that.

Try bitvest, I believe they have a way to gamble using bitcoin cash. You can also try duckdice, though they had a recent scam accusation on them because they are cheating through the bonuses. Another one is safedice, this is an "ok" site, nothing really special though.
