Donaire IMO has an edge here, he likes an opponent that is shorter than him which is not a heavy puncher. So even if Jason Moloney is a younger fighter, I think Donaire's power is already enough to KO him with a great counter punch. Can't want to see this fight, I thought Donaire would already retire after losing to Inoue, but look at this big surprise, this would certainly make the fans happy.

Nothing to say, we all witness how good the defenders from Converge they are all ready and willing to sacrifice their body not to allow an easy basket, and yes the good adjustment that being done to adopt the opponents system and dominate them to collapse. It's noticeable that Converge is really improving. With coach Ayo, he manages the players to know their role inside the court.
This team is the old Alaska team who are good in playing defense, they don't give up easy shots so their opponent really has to earn that points in a hard way. The lack of defense by the Northport was pretty evident, that team loves to shoot but does not go back on defense, and as we've seen, Converge just love to run and scored the basket. Coz I can see a lot of underrated guys, especially on the defensive end, like Pat Bev and Schroder. Westbrook was also silent even without filling the stat sheet, but the impact his making while on the floor is actually underrated. T. Bryant on the other hand is quite working on improving and making himself more valuable in the absence of AD.
Schroder was a huge addition to the team, he was just new but he was already vital for the team. This man has now a chance to be offered a decent contract again and hopefully this team he will not refuse it. The run of the Lakers now are good, despite not having AD, they are still winning games. Lakers are now rank number 12, but they can be in the top 8 if Davis will come back and they'll improve as team. Yes, it was a huge win by the Lakers against Portland, Trailblazers took a big lead 25 points, but then they were outscored in just one quarter, in the 3rd, by 20 points. After that, you can smell the Lakers wanting to get this win, Bryant has as huge game and so is Dennis Schroder hitting those big 3's in the 4th quarter. And Pat has that one steal against Dame pushing the Lakers as well. They will just have to play with this kind of intensity regardless if it is a home or away and then wait for AD to make a comeback. The Blazers are completely the same team, they don't have the kind of defense that brings championships, even the rebounding, it was controlled by the Lakers. Their good shooting alone will not last in a tight game because defense wins games all the time. Age surely can not stop someone from what he really loves to do, and the same mindset is really good for those who want to achieve things in their life, and never back down from any challenges, and despite his loss to Naoya Inoue his perseverance to get something is still there, I think all people that are saying that Donaire should stop and retired they need motivation and needs to learn perseverance is needed to achieve anyone goals,

If you are a follower/fan of Nonito, surely you will notice his strengths and weakness. He lost to Magdaleno and Walters which are a big opponents or in other words, more or less have the same height with him. If you notice also that he defeated fighters like Arce, Montiel, Darchinyan and Oubaali which were small compared to him. The good thing with Nonito is that he always have a good conditioning going into a fight may it be for super flyweight or bantamweight and never have trouble making the scales so if he were to fight Moloney for the WBC bantamweight title, for sure he have a good chance of capturing the belt because of his physical attributes or let us say, height advantage. I hope Nonito's age does not make him less effective. Moloney is not an undefeated fighter, he also lose to Inoue, so I would not say that Moloney has the advantage over Nonito because he is younger than Nonito. 32 years old vs 40 years old. Honestly, I like the chances of Nonito here because Maloney is not a KO artist unlike Inoue. |

Just let it sink in guys because this is a real achievement from a small team that have been working hard in silence for all this years and finally they are having a great season. The 76ers are underdogs without James Harden and Joel Embiid. This could get easy for the Kings with Sabonis and Fox to take the win so I am betting for them at -4.5 @1.85.
I was also in the impression that it can be an easy win for the Kings but shit happen as the second squad of Sixers played well and didn't give it up and complete the win against them.. I believe the Kings have led as many as 21 points but Sixers were still able to come back. So yeah, we will see if he has what it takes, I mean accepting it shows that he has big balls already, but facing him in the ring could be different for Yarde when he taste the first punch of Beterbiev. Homecourt advantage, so is the home crowd, might really be an advantage but that was all useless if a boxer is really up against a tough opponent. Artur Beterbiev is not new to pressure and seems won't really be affected much fighting against a crowd. Yarde on the other hand should take advantage of any advantages in this fight. A boost of morale because of the crowd is a big help but that is nothing if he can't perform well in the actual fight. It will be a struggle for Yarde finding that advantage because I'm sure that the 3-belt champion, Beterbiev, won't show any weakness in this fight that will make Yarde's journey much easier. I know that Beterbiev's not that perfect despite of his perfect record but somehow it's hard to believe that Yarde can truly make a difference. I’m really rooting for this match to finally happen, and now the audience will be more excited to witness the said match hopefully by April. My vote goes for Tank Davis, but I also want to witness how Ryan Garcia will perform in the ring given that his opponent is the crowd’s favorite so maybe this will create more challenge on him to give Tank his best shot so he can make this fight more profitable on his part.
I also like to see Davis beats Ryan Garcia since the latter keep on boasting the he can defeat Davis via knock out in just 2 rounds. Well, truth is, all we can do here is to speculate only and we can't really say who will come out as the winner because even if Tank Davis got a bit of upper hand because of his IQ inside the ring, we cannot also discount the fact and forget that they are both a KO specialist. Might be best for now to forget about the Crawford-Spence fight because the chances of happening the said bout is getting slimmer and slimmer as months and days goes by. Spence and Al Haymon is getting very unpredictable these days, all silent about their move and stuff and boom, the whole world is suddenly surprised because they made another circus in the industry with of course the blessing of the corrupt governing bodies.
When the first negotiation failed last year between Spence and Crawford's camp, should be right at that time when boxing fans should now forget it. The negotiation that happened last year was almost a done deal and the majority is now expecting an official announcement but at the last minute, it was announced failed instead due to some reason that is not being disclosed to the public. Let's accept the fact now that Spence won't meet Crawford because there are lots of obstacles that are ruining the plan. Crawford just needs to move forward and win his future fights but since being not under any big promoters, he will likely just face a cherry-picked opponent as it's tough for his camp to secure a big fight without the involvement of a big promoter and that's the reality in boxing nowadays. maybe both camps did not agree with the purse split. but in any case, we already moved on from this possible fight as each of them have already gone their separate ways. i think this will be another repeat of mayweather-pacquiao history. their respective promoters will make a deal once their respective boxers are already past their prime. I certainly think that it wasn't a purse split issue because Terence Crawford himself revealed it in the interview last year that he also insisted that he is ready to accept 30% of the purse split just to make the fight happen and then weeks of going back and forth with the impression of the fight might happen at last, but in the end, he was just wasting some of his precious time because Al Haymon doesn't want a unification fight. It's that the Warriors doesn't have enough players in the rotation in this game, Kuminga, Moody was not in the game and Kerr will have to play with just 8 players against a healthy Celtics and in their homecourt. It's not a bad lost though, again they almost steal 1 from Boston Garden, they just fell short in the OT as their legs are tired.
Not a bad loss indeed, it's actually felt like a playoffs game after watching it. The weakness of the Warriors is the offensive rebounds. Boxing out seems to be forgotten by Wiggins or he just too small for Robert Williams III. If next time they will meet a team that relies heavily on their big men, the Warriors would need someone big enough to control it. Kuminga or Wiseman but both are injured. Whenever Looney will take his rest, the Celtics can have 2-3 second chance possessions if they miss, all thanks to Williams. Draymond could not handle them all on a small ball line up, he will need some help. It was evident that they are getting outmuscled by Robert Williams and Big Al Horford. And the thing is both can also contribute to the offense as well. So Looney and Draymond as much as he is really good in defense and has a high boxing IQ, not enough for them to upset the Celtics. Yes, it's like championship fever again, both doesn't want to lose, but I guess the Celtics is the better team this game. For sure the Warriors learn a lot as a team with this loss. Warriors knows the Celtics very well, let's just say that the Celics played better in the 4th quarter, they don't want to lose, but for sure it will be a different story if the game is played at the Warriors home court, even with the same roster. Definitely, I'd get for the Warriors as well if the game were to be played at the Chase Center, it's been a long journey already and the Warriors always did proved that they are hard to beat at their own home.
