cooltobe.. are your cards LIGHT as hell.. i mean half the weight of a normal 7950...i`m afraid that these are somehow hot genuine:

My settings for it are TC 19000, lookupgab 2, stock settings no OC.
the card:

1x7950 (MSI Piece of shit)
1x6970 (GIgabyte)
1x5870

other CGMiners show the data correctly (although not all):

CGminer shows average lower then 5s speeds?

What's up with that?

Can this be used on Windows and would it work for scrypt currencies as well?
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] New Crypto Currency FRANKO on: May 28, 2013, 02:51:29 PM
why on earth would you still promote this... in hopes it hits a market so you can sell?

So when can we expect some progress report?
Maybe some pictures?

732  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / DUAL PSU Setup Thoughts on: May 24, 2013, 12:43:50 PM
Hi,

I started building a rig and of course chose the wrong PSU's
Sirtec Absolute Power 1000w

I`m thinking of selling these off and getting Dual PSU's since it is cheaper this way then getting 1 massive 1500w one. i'll be using this guide for connecting them:
http://www.overclock.net/t/15751/info-can-i-use-two-power-supplies-with-one-computer

Now..first i am considering running 4x7950's on a ASrock Extreme4, but i`m keeping an open mind to get powered risers or mod them to support 5x7950 (Gigabyte WF3). i`m thinking around 280w/overclocked card should mean:
1400w+change for the motherboard/cpu/hdd

Here are the contenders:

2x750w
EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750G Gold 120-PG-0750-GR
Corsair Professional Series HX750 Gold CP-9020031
Sea Sonic X-750 SS-750KM

2x800w
Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 800W

2x850
Corsair Professional Series HX850 Gold CP-9020032

Feel free to point out flaws or psu models that would suite this purpose better
Thanks!

I'm trying t setup cgminer.confg so that i only change settings on a single file then launch the appropriate pool bat.

For ex.:

My bat:
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://eu.wemineltc.com:3333 -u user -p x -o stratum+tcp://stratum.give-me-ltc.com:3333 -u user -p x

This should call the cgminer conf to lead the rest of the settings.
Any idea how i can do that?

if i remove the pools from the cgminer.conf, i get a JSON error.

Thanks
734  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BitMinter cgminer config help please on: May 24, 2013, 10:19:22 AM
Alright...i got it working... sorry for not posting the answer...

1. sha256 does not use thread concurrency, so you can leave that out
2. Intensity over 13 will give you this behavior. So 13 is the sweet spot

thanks!
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we change our Thermal Compound on GFX Cards? on: May 23, 2013, 08:46:21 AM
Arctic Silver really shouldn't be used on GPU's. It's quite risky because it's conductive. AS5 should only be used on chips with large heatspeaders so you can be fairly confident you won't have any leakage get on surface mount resistors/capacitors near by. It's fine if you put on the perfect amount, but if you put on too much it can fry your card.

I redid my mining gpus with IC Diamond. Just about anything would have done better than the ~1mm thick goo put on by the manufacturer. One of the cards had half of the die not even touching the compound and that card throttled instantly so it was effectively DOA thermal compound, but worked fine when re-applied.

good input... what IC Diamond are you using?
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with CGMiner throwing "Stopped responding" [Bounty:50WDC] on: May 23, 2013, 12:12:15 AM
so far there is not pattern that explains the error, nor have i heard a good explanation as of why

so after 8 hours of testing, i came to the conclusion to just retry the same config for 10-20 times, and it will take... which is bullshit.

I`ll test the SDK tip, and it pans out you`ll know Smiley

Also is there an official place where i can get SDK 2.5? ( is it included with the 12.8 drivers)?
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we change our Thermal Compound on GFX Cards? on: May 23, 2013, 12:08:49 AM
well i opened up my 5970 and changed the paste with AS5... they had some greasy wet pad's as well.. i left those alone although i was tempted to apply as5 to the memory's as well..

Thing is, my 5970 won't run now (it looks fine in Windows, but cgminer does not accept it.. crashes)

will have to take another look at it.

3x 6970 ASUS DirectCU II's pull 800 Watts... so 1000w is a bit on the low side...
Interestingly after 5 hours of troubleshooting...i came to the conclusion that 3xASUS directCU II will not under any circumstance work together... one always dies with ATI Driver Error.. .Tested each individually... they all work, just not together... it's a strange world i tell you.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with CGMiner throwing "Stopped responding" [Bounty:50WDC] on: May 22, 2013, 01:47:08 PM
what is your CCC version and APP SDK version?

Running Catalyst 13.5 Beta2
12.102.3-130416a-155949E-ATI
CGMiner 2.11.4

Also, check the folder of your batch file, is there a file called scrypt130302Cypressglxxxxxxxx.bin being created?

I had similar issues earlier, if you can confirm the file isn't there... i might have the solution.

i had some files .bin..i deleted them (sometimes that would fix the issue)
