721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: March 12, 2017, 02:36:24 AM
Other than using search engines to look up the reputation of a gambling site, let's make it a habit to read available terms and conditions of these sites to avoid being in dispute with them.

the best way to determine if a gambling site is scam or not is to deposit one bitcoin and ask for withdrawal  Grin

I would avoid this because they just might hit you with an AML term and confiscate your funds Roll Eyes
722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 11, 2017, 11:29:05 AM
todays match: Bournemouth v West Ham
Bournemouth has had a good run against top teams like arsenal and liverpool, and with a hard fought stalemate against manchester united the cherries will be pumped to prevent the hammers from getting a double on them .
I think bookies have been generous to price West ham who are a quality team @ 3 odds will back the double chance (x2) in favor of the hammers.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ETF Rejected on: March 10, 2017, 11:02:22 PM
The price started dropping even before the announcement. Who still thinks there isn't information leak?

Everyone should be prepared for this, we had two possibilities. The price going up a lot with the approvation and the dump with disapprovation, now we just need to do the best with what we have, in this case the low Bitcoin price, time to buy BTCs and hold for the next events.

What low bitcoin price? Still looks pretty high to me..
Sure for a minute there if you were lucky enough to catch it..
earlier today i saw the price trade over 1250 dollars and after getting this rejection news i see the price is now below 1100 dollars...not good scenes at the moment
but whatever the case bitcoins will recover after this panic wave comes to pass.
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a Bitcoin Dice Simulator to test if a strategy works on: March 10, 2017, 08:50:23 PM
other than using faucets to claim free coins to try all sorts of strategies
i have found crypto-games casino to have a wide selection of popular cryptocurrencies for this sole purpose.
But coming to think of it...play money or whatever we can call it is just some form of deception throwing us off what realty holds and we tricked we can win just like playing with faucet funds when the opposite actually happens.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: March 10, 2017, 05:12:45 AM
I think it all depends on the mindset of the people. if they thought appropriate, and quickly follow the development of technology, of course it would make bitcoin be money for the future. I am sure, if bitcoin in the response by the government, it is also important that will make bitcoin become the currency of the future.
The problem with the developers are people is that everyone want their own currency to be the competitor so they do not focus on bitcoin but try to work on different places for different currencies to get some money and that is making the process of success of crypto currency slower. If they all will focus on bitcoin then very sooner bitcoin will replace the remaining currencies.

I think the issue is not developer not wanting to focus on bitcoin, but bitcoin code technology is not as good as the rest of the virtual currencies and any significant improvements to bitcoin take ages to implement due to need a majority of the miners to agree. There is quite a health developer ecosystem built around ETH for example and a clear development roadmap that can be executed

Honestly for bitcoin to be the future of money does not only rely on miners or developers.
People will have to learn the bitcoin technology and it needs not to be seen to be under any countries control to avoid any future conflicts of interest. And our mindsets of bitcoins having the sole purpose of trading needs to change,to avoid the volatility issues... if we ever want it to go mainstream!

727  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2017 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: March 09, 2017, 04:06:44 PM
Hi, guys!
Anyone know if any card does not have foreign exchange fee (mostly is 3%)? I didn't find any information about that for WegeCan card.

But what do you mean "foreign exchange"? If you think about for example withdrawals other currency that card was issued for, I never hear about transactions without fee. It is logic that they have to charge for that. Hmm.. maybe exist something like that, but for sure their spread is so big that anyway it is very uneconomic.
Probably meant international withdraw fee...but I highly doubt it that you will find a card without a service charge which is usually pegged at 3%.
Because the fee charged is how the bank makes money using forex charges...
728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader on: March 09, 2017, 02:24:19 PM
There is no specific time to become a trader, it completely depends on the way you acquire knowledge about trading. Trading is a completely different task where you have to manage yourselves according to the situation of the market. Once you are confident about your money management through trading, then you can start trading.

yes there's no specific time to become a trader. Many newbies when something is hype, they keep on telling "I want to be like that, I want it". They are not thinking that this type of career isn't something that needs focus and good knowledge for the market of bitcoin. I guess when you've got enough knowledge on it, that's the best time to become a trader.
Imo I think the best time to start trading is when the bubble burst and you can afford to buy some cheap bitcoins to trade with as prices are pulled down.
But of course trading knowledge will be your best stepping stone to be successful at it.
729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 08, 2017, 06:11:35 PM
A big surprise in the last match Barcelona vs Paris Saint Germain the final result is 4-0
Maybe, bet over 2.5 goals is a good choice today
We should expect the barca attacking trio try to turn tables around from the 4goal deficit but I think this will be an impossible task against a PSG side who are determined to go through the semi-finals. Best bet here should be both teams to score and over 3.5 goals.
730  Economy / Economics / Re: 2016’s top cryptocurrencies + january 2017 on: March 08, 2017, 04:21:48 PM
Bitcoin will continue to occupy the top spot of all cryptocurrencies  and the other altcoins such as monero, zcash, dash and ethereum will compete for the remaining market  share. IMO btc lacks some elements to keep it a top coin and hope to see developers improve it in the future.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MappleGee Next Generation Sports Tipster ! Tips: #1 WON POSTED 2 PM forum time. on: March 08, 2017, 01:18:54 PM
Great to see more free tipster services here and it seems you have the bankroll management similar to directbet.eu tipster competition, maybe you should consider signing up with them for the next challenge and prove your worth.

Next challenge should be growing your bankroll from 0.01 BTC to 1.0 BTC . Good luck ~MAPPLEGEE~
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 08, 2017, 08:41:27 AM
Tomorrow Manchester City will be looking for the three points against Stoke City, the hosts are going with 4 wins in row and they would like more points to stay in top four and follow  Chelsea despite that it will be difficult for them to get more closer as Chelsea have only the league as main focus while Man City have Championsleague to worry about. Anyway Stoke City is a decent opponent and we may see them go forward and score a goal because they do not have nothing to lose so i think we will see over 2.5 goals.

The gap between Chelsea and Manchester City is big and Manchester City have no choice but to look for maximum points. Manchester City vs Stokes league matches have traditionally seen a lot of goals. I predict a 3-1 victory for Manchester City.
We all know the Premier League is tough but City catching Chelsea is far-fetched and the best they can do is maintain a top 4 finish to play in the champions league and go one place better to second if they win today.
The 3-1 correct score has 12 odds, which is a long shot good luck with that! Thought Manchester city to win and both teams to score @ 2.6 odds has a better chance of landing.
733  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you have an idea to invest your bitcoin in offline business? on: March 07, 2017, 11:17:05 PM
a lot of choice in doing business in the real world. we can open up a business such as selling various computer devices. Current technological development is increasing, so that computer sales would be easy enough to be marketed in the community.

i have an idea of building a crypto cafe were different users meet to use free Internet services to teach each other about crytpos and possibly an exchange to buy and sale bitcoins and altcoins and this would be restricted to the locals for security reasons.
734  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is viabtc transaction accelerator really working? on: March 07, 2017, 10:46:38 PM
Still works, but not as good as when it was launched because too many people use it and we know that block size is too small Roll Eyes
The best solution are increasing fee in transaction or re-broadcast transaction if necessary.

the accelerator has proved to be a handy tool judging from the congestion we all run into trying to get our transactions confirmed faster, why not share this with other mining pools to avoid backlogs or go for a bigger blocksize.
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: March 07, 2017, 10:29:26 PM
i like to explore the best of both worlds with a daily usage of my bitcoins for my mobile top ups, shopping online or local super markets. And just to grow my bitcoins i gamble for fun. Saving bitcoins is not an easy hurdle especially if you own a small stash of them.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a bagholder? Which altcoins do you hold? on: March 07, 2017, 10:08:45 PM
holding--icobid,litecoin,and a small bounty of eth,and still waiting for my taskie bounty..... probably these will be the only altcoins with some real potential growth. Other alts i own are dead nobody even speculates of them about any future pumps or dumps.
737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you do when BTC shoots up? on: March 07, 2017, 09:21:07 PM
If you have a strong feeling bitcoin is going to go down then the right call is to sell and then wait for the price to bottom out and buy again at this cheaper price, this is a very simple strategy but very profitable if applied correctly.
imo this is a risky move...you just might end up losing all your stashed bitcoins and remain with nothing. Best option would be to wait for market prices to correct and sell with confidence.

Hi,

I'd like to know what do you think is a good strategy when BTC price shoots up and you feel it's going to come down again.
- hold on to your Bitcoin?
- Sell it for USD hoping to buy it again cheaper?
- Sell it for other crypto (in this case which would you choose)?

well depending on external influences such as btc etf maybe hodling will be the right thing to do as speculations of an approval are eminent. In a case of prices falling sell and buy cheaper btc.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 07, 2017, 07:41:43 PM
I think we will see many goals in both matches.

Napoli vs Real Madrid: Both teams score at quote@1.40 or over 2,5 goals at quote@1.45
Arsenal vs Bayern:      Both teams score at quote@1.50 or over 2,5 goals at quote@1.55

it seems an easy double-up

One of the most easiest bet would be real madrid and bayern munich to win this game. I dont see any of them losing this game even when they already have the advantage . Real madrid and bayern are two teams which relies on attacking the most so they will still going to hit it hard for this game

I dont agree with your bet if bayern munich just make the score of 1-1 is enough for them to go for next round, so both team to score goal for both match is good bet and even parlay is also good.
with the huge goal difference set by both real madrid and bayern munich the second leg will likely be about getting an away goal and individual reps, so best bets will be both teams to score. I don't feel confident about the over 2.5 goals this time around.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]The Legends Room Las Vegas 😍 Gentlemen's Club Membership 😍 PRESALE LIVE on: March 07, 2017, 06:50:57 PM
Exciting to hear that the casino's and hotels in the area are buying 500 memberships for themselves.  Anyone else in here buy any?

Did I miss that news? I mean that's a pretty smart idea since those memberships could be rented to their guests and the like
I don't think the silver membership has the privilege of renting it out for some easy pocket money seeing this is intended for regulars of the club Roll Eyes
740  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: bitcoin legal vs illegal ??? on: March 07, 2017, 07:06:49 AM
At one side we are saying every transaction in the Bitcoin is free to see by anyone ( which is really a thing which increases our trust , faith in the Bitcoin )
The public ledger(blockchain) is not only a matter of trust, its also more the skeleton of bitcoins functionality.

Quote

but opposite of this
most of the wallets have the service of multiple address like mysellium which has a property of change address after every transaction .
And also blockchain whose address per hours per minute changes .

Do you think guys that to make Bitcoin more legal the option of varying address should be removed from the Bitcoin network and make it tracebale at every point .

I don't think its legality standing in the way of having multiple addresses but on a hodlers point of view having multiple addresses allows tracking your savings towards your goals and allows spending funds on everyday necessities without tempering with your hodl. So scraping the dynamic address generation is a NO for me!
