721  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Twitter Stock Experience the same Rise? on: August 02, 2023, 04:45:53 PM
I saw his tweet recently, and he said something special is coming. Although many people feel disappointed and unhappy when the blue bird symbol is no longer available and replaced by the "X" logo. But I believe the shareholders of this social network will not care about that, what they care about is what Elon will do next to make them profitable and that is also what many people are expecting from Elon.

Many say he killed Twitter, which is true because he rebranded, but what the social network will look like in the future is still an exciting thing to see. I think it's too early to say anything as we all know Elon is a top businessman. Let's see what he will do.
Honestly, I was expecting something special to happen when he first took over, but things actually got a negative turn soon after that, the value of the company started going down, and so did the percentage of ad sales revenue, and it looked like the company is going towards a disaster, and now, this rebranding thing, naming the platform X all of a sudden without any prior information or anything, leaving everyone totally surprised and shocked.

A lot of us are really hoping that what he is thinking actually turns out to be good and doesn't make the users that remained with the platform run away and giving Thread by Meta and Mark more success since a lot of people will probably move there or simply start looking for another platform.
722  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient and you will be there soon. on: August 01, 2023, 05:55:35 PM
This is the message  that needs to be preached  more often especially  that more people think crypto investments have shorter lead times when it comes to return on investments!
And it gets worse with all these YouTube videos of how to get rich with crypto and scammers promising  to multiply our money in no time which makes the message of patience very difficult to sell...but like any viable investment, it needs time to mature and once ready we now can harvest our  profits so exercise some patience and let the markets do their thing Cool
The YouTube videos you are talking about and some social media handles of the so-called influencers are actually the main cause of the impatience among new investors in the cryptocurrency market. They watch those influencers teaching them how they can get a lot of money in a very short period of time, and they start thinking that the influencers are right and they buy the coins and tokens that they promote which they promote only to get paid by their teams.

This is exactly why newbies are always advised to never trust anyone that they read or watch on the internet and always do their own research before making any financial investments because there are a lot of scammers and liars in the internet space that are always looking for victims that are easy targets.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My easy way to teach your kids bitcoin. on: August 01, 2023, 03:45:29 PM
while you have an ongoing plan for your child, that's okay, it's your right as a parent to educate your child in any way, but I think getting used to giving gifts every time your child obeys you might become a bad habit going forward.
In my opinion, giving access to YouTube to children can also make children addicted to looking at cellphones. when my child was small I preferred to focus on training my child's motor skills by inviting him to play offline instead of watching videos online.
I will teach my child if he understands and understands finances.
Everyone should teach their children about what's right for them and what they need to know, but they need to do it according to their age, so please, let your children grow older first and then teach them about finances, cryptocurrencies, or anything else, and let them enjoy their childhood with things that they will remember for their whole life, spend as much time with them as you can, and make them do things that they enjoy which are not harmful or addictive for them.

I totally understand that it's a good thing if kids get to learn about things that they will need in future from an early age, but that early age shouldn't be too early, I mean we should ruin their childhood just because we want them to know and learn about Bitcoin and other financial tools and activities.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: August 01, 2023, 12:39:09 PM
Yes, that's what I did when I was a novice. When an altcoin started to rise a lot, I had the psychology of not being able to make a profit. I remember a little about what Safemoon did, and it's pretty doubtful that it will ever happen again. At times, some tokens get pretty much inflated by whales. Like I said, they may not always do this. Too much greed in altcoins causes loss of money, this has always been so.
Following that movement will also let to fall into a trap, thinking that you will be making a decent amount of profits without knowing that the whales are just playing around.

Always have that mindset to do your research and balance the possibility of making money over losing it
with each trading or investment participation that you are doing, make sure that you have that time to
continue learning and not being attached to a quick money process that mostly being misunderstood.
Greed makes us lose money, it's as simple as that. We can always get some profit and exit the market even if the whales are playing around, but only if we don't get greedy and start thinking that we will get more profit and exit at the right time before the price starts to crash again, but that doesn't happen because it is not possible for anyone to perfectly time the market and on top of that, how would we know if the whales have already got what they wanted and now they will dump the market?

So it is always better to simply sell and exit when you are already in profit if you are trading altcoins, because if you didn't exit at the right time and it starts crashing, you won't be able to get any profit and you might even end up losing some of your invested capital if you don't sell quickly.
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 01, 2023, 11:44:03 AM
Based on UEFA Champion League winner history there are not any teams yet success winning back to back except Real Madrid success win three time in a row, I doubt with Manchester City has chance for winning two time in a row for Champion League tittle. For next season, Manchester City leaves by Ikay Gundogan and Ryan Mahrez although the second name is not main squad for Manchester City but Ikay Gundogan is most important player with Champion League tittle contribution.

Achievement winning Champion League last season based on how smart tactic from Pep Guardiola, not depend on one player exactly when Erling Haaland get huge pressure still have player on second line for scoring goals. If Pep Guardiola tactic for next season still the same has chance for winning back UCL but its not easy.
Right now, talking about title race is too early even Manchester City is still one of the best to defend their title but as changes are happening around the clubs we can expect any serious challenger in coming days as well which can create problems for them like if we have Harry Kane in Bayern Munich then surely things could be not easy for any team to handle them and same case can go for the Real Madrid if they are able to bring Mbappé then surely their strength could be at the top, and they can go through for another title easily same happening for the few other teams which are working on their squads and fixing their holes which hurt them in last season.

Pep Guardiola is surely currently one of the best in business and his tactics are surely giving them good success but leaving top players surely can hurt their performance, and they can also face problems with we all know Champions League is never easy to predict its nature is always unpredictable.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 31, 2023, 06:05:50 PM
It is difficult to advise them because they can access silently without the need to ask anyone, gambling sites have now become commonplace and can be found in any social network because gambling promotions spread everywhere.

They should already think that responsibility is important, if not then this will cause new problems for their psychologists, especially in their finances, especially with a student who is underage, of course they only rely on pocket money not from their own income, so it is important to know the risks of causing a big defeat.

Yes, that's what I said, online gambling sites are easily accessible to anyone including minors, it is difficult to know them thoroughly.
You also have all these affiliate programs the casinos are running, meaning that there is a real incentive for people who get registered to also recommend a casino to their friends. If age doesn't matter anymore as many casinos run without KYC and any other checks even for age, those who are already registered can literally lure everyone into playing on a platform. It is how the whole system is set up that the only protection against it should happen at an age young enough when it is obviously not too late and old enough that kids can understand the consequences adults are trying to explain to them.
There aren't a lot of gambling platforms that don't consider the age of gamblers before allowing them to gamble, now that the regulations are hitting almost every sector, especially casinos, I'm pretty sure that the casinos that are operating without a license and are not asking for KYC from their gamblers will be caught by the regulators and that will either be the end of the platforms or they will need to apply the rule of KYC verification for everyone.

I already don't see a lot of platforms that don't ask for KYC verification from their gamblers, even if they don't do it at the beginning, as soon as they request a withdrawal, they are asked to provide some identity before they can proceed with the withdrawal, otherwise, they funds are frozen.
727  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for newbies on: July 31, 2023, 02:56:25 PM
I want to believe this advice is specifically for day traders, well, another thing which I personally think is very important is that, aspiring day traders, that is newbies, should know that day trading is not for everybody, you gotta know if trading is what you really wanna do for the love of it, or whether frustration of live is what is pushing you into day trading solely to earn money - then watch it carefully, day trading can make or break you in matter of seconds, most especially for those trading the futures market, futures market is one reserved for already well established and professional traders, do not as a newbie ever go into trading future, you will get burnt out even before you realize what is going on.
Day trading is not easy and is full of risks. So you need to study the market well and learn technical analysis on a high basis. Not just for day trading but in trading as a general.

However, even if you become a professional and a very experienced trader, that is not an excuse from losing. Losses are inevitable in trading, that’s why if you are weak and easily faints, then trading is certainly not for you.
You are right that for someone who has diamond hands and who panics when the market faces a small dip, trading isn't for them because trading requires patience, a lot of it so that you don't panic and sell your bought assets at a loss which is not what a trader should be doing. So, someone who knows they don't have patience and a strong heart, and a mind that they can control, they should simply do something else and don't waste their money on trading.

Analysis, they are an important part of day trading because if you are not able to analyze the market and coins that you are willing to buy and sell, you can never make successful trades, so as a newbie, a person should first learn everything from A to Z and then get involved.
728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are memecoins tarnishing the image of crypto? on: July 31, 2023, 12:40:15 PM
For beginners, it's advisable to steer clear of memecoins. However, if they still want to get involved, they should consider investing in memecoins listed on reputable exchanges, even if it means earning lower profits. One example I follow is Bitget's memezone, where memecoins may not be listed at the start of their project but get listed at an early stage. Unlike DEX, these platforms provides more security, reducing concerns about being unable to sell,or removal of LPs.
Why should the blame be on all cryptocurrencies when those newbies don't do any research before making any investments? Who in their right senses would spend their money on something without even getting to know it first? Would you do it? I don't think so because I wouldn't. No one likes to lose money, so when someone is making an investment, it's their responsibility to first do some research about it and understand how it is and how it works, and what it is, and then go ahead.

Those newbies who get greedy and invest in these meme coins are to be blamed for that because they know these coins can sometimes provide great profits and that is the reason why they invest in them, otherwise, even they know that these are not actual cryptocurrencies but are just shills.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you feel about market recovery on: July 30, 2023, 07:16:30 PM
I feel so damn good with the recovery from bitcoin from 19k to the 30k but altcoin showing bad sign. It was losing its domination against bitcoin. Mostly of altcoins are still stagnant while bitcoin has been starting to recover.

This is a bad sign for the altcoin market. Im thinking about altcoin gonna stuck till bitcoin gets its rocket after halving.
Usually, when Bitcoin rises altcoin also follows up but sometimes there is a delay so I suggest be patient and wait for it to take effect. Actually, a lot of altcoins are pumping recently like XRP. Yeah, the case might be different from XRP because it only won his case from SEC but some says it triggers the alt season.

Anyways, Bitcoin hasn't pump to the max yet, so that might be the reason on why altcoins are not really showing an enthusiasm. Bitcoins domination are already higher than in altcoins even before so you shouldn't be surprised. Being stagnant is better than being dumped although people can still use that moment to buy more coins, so I see no reason for you to get disappointed.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 30, 2023, 05:24:02 PM
It is really unfortunate for Arda Guler to have no choice other than returning to Madrid early. Because due to his injury he will miss pre-season games and will have to work much harder to reach the level of the others later. He is a really talented player of course so I believe in him to work hard for that.
Arda Guller needs to overcome his injury problems, as the enthusiasm of the fans and his arrival in Madrid attract attention. So it would be a shame if in the end he was preoccupied with injuries. His young age and injury-prone is not a good solution. Fitness as a youth player at Madrid always counts. Arda Guller could not pass up an opportunity that many players would envy. For Ancelotti, this is an important task, because like it or not Arda Gulller position is expected to play an important role in spurring Madrid's appearance. The initial phase at Real Madrid determines the future of young players, if you can survive and produce the expected results then the player is the first choice but otherwise the possibility of playing on the bench is very unlikely for Ada Guller.
Yeah, this is heartbreaking news for the new soccer sensation and his fans those were waiting for his debut in this season because now with this injury he is going to miss start of this season most chances four or five weeks needs to be recovered from this injury but good thing his all teammates are behind him in this time, and they are backing for his fightback for the team place in coming season.

Injuries are part of the play so with these things can go in any way we have to stay positive for his comeback and place into this team because it's just the start of his career at this giant club which is never been easy for any new player to have his place, hopefully he will fight back and have his place in first team despite sitting at the bench and wait for the transfer.
731  Economy / Speculation / Re: How did you see BTC in future? on: July 29, 2023, 04:51:54 PM
According to my opinion In 2023, the price of the BTC reached $40k expected at the end of the year and the average movement price is between $25k to $28k.
Bitcoin price prediction will continue to rise during 2024 the price of BTC between $50k to $60k and the average moving line of BTC is $55k 2025 also expected that
the Bitcoin price prediction that will continue to rise in the year 2025 where I expect that BTC will brake the ATH and build a new ATH on $100k. [/size]
I believe Bitcoin won't go above $40k this year. I know that there are still about 4 months to go in 2023, but I don't really see any strong reason for Bitcoin to break above the resistance and go toward that target. We have seen how strong the resistance at $31k is, it has been trying to break above it for a long time but to no avail, so I don't think that is going to happen anytime soon unless there is some huge news that spreads a lot of positivity in the market.

And, as the whole industry believes the market will enter a bull run after or around the halving event in 2024, I believe that is when we might start going up, and by the end of 2024, we might see the price touching $50k, and by the time we 2025 and within the first couple of months, the price will go towards $60k-70k.
732  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What do you buy/want to buy with crypto? on: July 29, 2023, 03:45:59 PM
I use when I get profits from the crypto betting houses, and then the changes to dollars for the debts of the commercial houses  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Are you seriously earning constant profits from cryptocurrency gambling to be able to pay mortgages for the houses you've bought? Is that what you mean by that?
That's not what i understand, when he said "when i get profits" i understand that it's not an always win. There is no always win in gambling, there's no people having that luck without getting a loss.

In the past few months, i usually convert a huge ratio of my crypto to fiat for saving purpose, and the rest is investments. Never bought any crypto-related item as well.
That is exactly what I was thinking about, how can a person get constant profits from gambling when the whole concept of gambling is based on luck, and one cannot stay lucky all the time, no strategy, no planning, nothing can maximize the chances of one winning more in gambling and reducing the losses, so someone thinking they might be able to earn profits from gambling every day is simply deceiving themselves or not understanding the concept of gambling.

Anyway, why are you converting your cryptocurrencies to fiat for saving? Isn't it better if you have them in Bitcoin considering the price of Bitcoin isn't so high at the moment and we have the halving event coming up next year? I would keep the savings in Bitcoin for now until the bull run, but it's all your decision to take.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My easy way to teach your kids bitcoin. on: July 28, 2023, 06:06:39 PM
Kids of nowadays understand money fast, not because they are endowed with it but because they know money is the only way they can buy lollipops and popcorn, but that's all they know, when it comes to finance and investment it feels wrong teaching them because they are not up to the stage yet..

Cartoon is good but I can't figure a way to make such cartoon interesting, even if I have to create one for kids? But what is the end goal for doing this? They still need to grow up first and learn about money/financial freedoms, that's the best time to teach about Bitcoin.

I never became anything that my parents wanted me to become, they forced a few things on me but it didn't work, I still ended up doing my things, my way my world, and I am glad it didn't end in shame.
Endowed means to provide something and so as money. We can use it to get something that we like. Kids nowadays are different to the kids on the past. Now they can't be happy on a simple candy but they are now using their parents credit card to purchase an in-game item or to shop online.

Teaching them about finances is actually a good thing so that they will know that money is not easy to obtain and they will now learn to spend it wisely. One of the ways for the kids to pay attention about that matter is when we convert the discussion into a cartoon show. If you think you are not creative enough, you can ask someone to do it for you. Some kids are still rebellious and won't follow some things that their parents demand. It can be right or wrong depending on the thing we are talking about.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon and PolygonZKEVM speculation on: July 27, 2023, 04:14:30 PM
The news of rebranding the token ticker from Matic to POL seems to have been well received by the market, but I just feel this is the same play book once again, the team has burnt a lot of money recently from the acquisition of new tech, hiring, marketing and branding, but the chain seems to be long distance for the major competitor, far from Ethereum, Binance chain, Arbritum etc. I do not expect much from Matic, but this will surely pump the price when the time comes
I think it's not about the name but it's about the features that they add. Still for some, maybe POL seems a better fit for the ticker because it was spelled after the name Polygon. It's now easy to remember for them but for me I think the old ticker sounds cool. I love it when the ticker is spelled differently from the coin name.

Well, what can I do now? I guess ill just accept it and like I said earlier it was the features that still matters the most and not the name. We cant compare Polygon to ETH or other bigger chains/coins. Remember it was only just a solution or an alternative, so we shouldn't expect too much from it and I think it already did its part.
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a person buy a hardware wallet where crypto is ban? on: July 27, 2023, 01:40:23 PM
Ban or no ban, Bitcoin hardware wallet was meant to be used privately, it increases your level of security for your assets compare to someone who always tell everyone that he has Bitcoin wish can attract criminals to his door or lead to arrest if Bitcoin is ban in the country.

Even if government warned you not to get involve with Bitcoin, how will they know if you do? I think the Ban is for the banks, meaning you can't publicly exchange Bitcoin into your local currency anymore unlike before, this was what happened when crypto was banned in my country and that was when I learned how to use Peer 2 Peer trading.

I think it's the same with what OP is saying, the Ban will only affect your Fiat to Crypto or Crypto to Fiat exchange.
He said that involvement with Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies is strictly prohibited, and another guy from his country said that people are getting arrested if they are caught having any involvement with Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, whether it's buying or selling, storing them, or buying and selling Bitcoin related hardware like wallets or miners, so I'm pretty sure that it is not just about banks and transactions going out and coming in into bank accounts related to Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.

I would suggest OP simply keep things to himself if things are actually this serious within his country because if authorities come to know about his involvement with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, they can take strict actions against him and his family, and they might close down their bank accounts or even put them in prison for going against the law.
736  Economy / Speculation / Re: $35,000-$37,000 for Bitcoin in 2023 as my peaking barrier, is breakout feasible? on: July 26, 2023, 08:18:01 PM
And I can only say Bitcoin could go over $35k-$37k this year as long as there are many positive news releases. But if there's only negative news trying to make people panic, we need more time to see Bitcoin get past that $35k.

But long term, Bitcoin can surpass that price and even exceed $60 as its last ATH yesterday. Well, maybe you should follow your instincts and just be prepared.

And if that's true, I'll still wait for the price to return to $60k until it finally makes its new ATH. And if the price can only reach $35k-$37k this year, I think we are still allowed to accumulate more Bitcoins. And we should use that opportunity well.
Maybe not news but it definitely would require a lot of demand and there needs to be a lot of buying for the price to pump that much, we have seen the price having a hard time crossing $31k recently because the resistance was too strong and there wasn't enough buying pressure from retail investors as everyone was speculating a drop and they didn't want to start buying at that price, the same is happening right now, we are stuck at $30k again.

$35k might not be a very big target to reach for Bitcoin in 4 months but only if as you said, there is some positivity around and retail investors don't panic sell every now and then causing the price to drop again after raising to a certain point. I thought we might be rallying up once it reached $31.5k but it didn't happen.
737  Economy / Economics / Re: "Prepare for deflation in 2023" on: July 25, 2023, 06:30:30 PM
The threat of world economic recession makes us be vigilant, many countries report slow economic inflation and growth so that it can make us poor, the easy step we have to take from now is trying to find other sources of opinion, if we work 5 days per week then we can Use the remaining 2 days to get additional income.
Why only 2 days? Someone who works only 8 hours a day can easily make some time to do a part-time job if they really want to earn some extra money, even if you have a family and have to give them time too, you can still have some time to spare that you can use for a secondary income, the best way is to learn some skill that you can use to do a job from home only to earn a few bucks every day, it can be a good way to at least have some extra savings every month.

Those who work extra hours, like more than 10, cannot do anything like this, and they will have to look for other jobs that can give them a bit more freedom so that they can do something else as a part-time job to earn some extra cash, if they don't want to do that, they might face problems in the future.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 24, 2023, 06:08:22 PM
Indeed, selling Martinez at a high price is a pretty good idea if the goal is to have more money or improve the club's finances. And also so that Inter Milan can buy more of the players they need to prepare for a more fierce competition in the coming season. But what Inter Milan is afraid of is that they are afraid of not being able to buy players who are on the same level as Martinez. And this can have a negative impact on the team's performance in the coming season. Because having a lot of money cannot be a guarantee that you can buy a better player than Martinez.
But Lautaro Martínez has chosen to stay at Inter Milan even though he has been offered a very high salary at the Saudi Arabian team but I think not all players are tempted by money and indeed Lautaro Martínez's decision to reject the Saudi Arabian team's offer is very correct, Lautaro Martínez is more concerned with his career than money because if he goes to the Saudi Arabian team then his career will surely fade.

And for the Inter Milan team, I never thought that selling Lautaro Martínez at a high price would be profitable for them, Lautaro Martínez is a player who has made a big contribution to the Inter Milan team and is also still very young so the future prospects for the team will be very large.
I believe that we are going to see him accept an offer from European clubs, so maybe they can try to do that? Saudi League is not acceptable for some players, I can understand it because there are some cultural and political situations that may not be great for some players who like to have fun and all that, but at the end of the day if there is a good European club that accepts to get Martinez, and pay for him a good amount as well, they could sell him without a doubt.

I do not think that he would be unwanted, if you offered him to the clubs, and basically put him on the transfer market and make it known, then I am guessing that it is not going to be impossible for him to go, he would probably be sold one way or another.
739  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 24, 2023, 04:59:05 PM
There are many diverse opinions about following one's passion and wealth. I read two stories of people who followed their passion, and in a short period of time, the businesses became very profitable.
If someone is serious about their passion and wants to develop it optimally, then that could happen. Net worth may be difficult to obtain without seriousness in preparing, implementing, developing and improving it. because after all, actually this passion also requires hard work and also sufficient capital to support it. But this effort is certainly not easy, because there will definitely be enormous obstacles to becoming something big and increasing wealth. However, if that is indeed our passion, we will usually be more detailed, thorough, passionate, and also never give up with the various conditions and challenges that confront us. especially if it's our passion, surely we will be more than happy to do it. And this passion really needs seriousness, consistency, and smart ideas to develop it.
Passion doesn't require developing, it develops itself when you like doing something and you have a great interest in doing that thing, no matter what it is, it can be a sport, it can be a job, a task, or anything in general, as long as you like doing it, you will have a passion for it, and that passion keeps developing as you get into it more and more, and there will be a time when the passion increases to a great extent that you can't stop doing that thing.

One can never give up their passion no matter what comes their way, there will always be a way that one can use to keep following their passion, obstacles and problems can occur for sure, but one will go through them and get out the other side being stronger and more independent to follow their passion with a fresh start every time.
740  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin's Price dump to Halving? on: July 24, 2023, 03:58:34 PM
I think real crypto lover wants price above the previous all time high instead of this current price that is now struggling to break 31K level. As a trader, a sideways price an indecision phase which price go down or up without any assurance on the direction.

I think the dip on 15K is what every trader really want as perfect entry for trading. The current price is already on the uncertain part which I doubt that crypto lover really like.
Whoever has invested at least some money in the cryptocurrency market would want the market to go up and those who are willing to invest are waiting for it to drop down as low as it can because they will be able to get as much as they can, that is a general instinct that every person has, we always want to have as much profit as we can no matter what happens to others and their investments, but the market doesn't always go the way we want it to.

The current market isn't basically a bad position for someone who wants to start investing because we are going towards halving right now and we all know and have seen that the market goes up around or after the halving as we can see in the historic data, so someone starting to do DCA right now won't be in a bad position next year.
