I know that it is not too advisable to teach kids bitcoin, but you can still teach them if you want them to have the idea of bitcoin
You can teach them through games, have fun and don't expect them to understand what Bitcoin is. They even don't need to understand it as they will grow up and in future they can learn about Bitcoin when they are interested in.

Don't force your kids to learn about Bitcoin and don't teach them difficult technical knowledge. It's unnecessary and they can not absorb it.

I saw you use games to teach that is good but as said, don't expect them to learn anything about it. Help them to enjoy their childhood and have fun.
Games are actually an effective tool for learning since kids will always love to play. So I certainly agree that instead of convincing them to watch cartoons related to bitcoin, why not engage them in real games so that their screen time will also be lessen and minimized. And always know that bitcoin is not for kids but certainly for adults that’s why forcing the kids to learn about bitcoin at a young age may seem so hard because they don’t even know how to manage their finances with fiat, so how much more with bitcoin where the concept is quite broad and definitely takes a lot of studies to understand it well.

I never became anything that my parents wanted me to become, they forced a few things on me but it didn't work, I still ended up doing my things, my way my world, and I am glad it didn't end in shame.

People who are trying to force their children to learn bitcoin don't seem to realize this, and they think that by forcing them to learn early, they will grow up following the path we have shown them.  but this will completely backfire because when they grow up, they will do what they think is right.  our excessive compulsion will make them feel fear rather than delight, which will make them hate bitcoin more than anything else in the future.

All these different concepts of teaching kids about bitcoin at an earlier stage of their life, where is it heading to actually? Why teach children about bitcoin when they would eventually forget what they were taught and informed about bitcoin when they were kids as they grow older?

I am not attempting to discredit your efforts to educate your kids about bitcoin, but I do want you to know that everything has its time. Allow your children to view what they can understand easily for their mental capacity without being confused about bitcoin

True, and this is why it would really be that just right that on the time that they do know on what fiat is and whatever correlates about money or finances then it would be the best time on telling them about Bitcoin and
whatever things correlated into it, not on the time that they are just spending their time on exploring around because stressing them wont really be giving them good things but rather giving them that a potential risks
on changing something for you on being a child and its not something recommended. Its true that teaching your kids early wont really be that bad but there's an exact time or moment for you to be able to do so and not
on too early because instead on taking it as an advantage, you would rather be seeing those children of yours to be on the negative side just because you are stressing them too much which it isnt recommended.
You are the ones who would really be able to see on your very own eyes on when would be the exact time, it would be depending if your children would really be able to comprehend and understand on what you are saying
because it would really be that useless if they werent be listening at all, even if you do make out explanation but they dont understand then it would be useless and there's no point on doing so.

A storytelling format will greatly help convey the meaning of Bitcoin. Step by step, an engaging story is told, and as a result, everything becomes clear, leading the listener to take action. I have designed websites using a similar approach, and the conversion rates on such projects are always good, although it depends on the niche Smiley

Bitcoin is not something they can forget though because Bitcoin is something that will be waiting in the future anyways, when they grow up they will still remember that their parent once forced them to learn Bitcoin, kids don't forget things easily like that.

I was once a kid and I can still remember some things that happens 25 years ago when I was very small, between my parents, name of my pet, few family members that stayed with us at the time.

I have promised myself that when I have my children I will look for the talents in them first before anything and I will support them on that, not to satisfied myself because I want them to become something.

Parents don't like listening to their children, the biggest mistakes that will cost them in future, because they are the parents, they always want the kids to listen to them, they have forgotten that their children are not them, just because they came into the world through their parents doesn't mean they will follow the same path as their parents.

I know that it is not too advisable to teach kids bitcoin, but you can still teach them if you want them to have the idea of bitcoin.
Let's just say let kids be kids, but if we still insist they learn then this is a continuous process from them being kids to somewhere were they get to be teens when they can make conscious decisions.

I want to share my strategy on how to teach kids bitcoin and you can try it. Especially, those of us that want our kids to know what bitcoin is or have the basic knowledge of bitcoin. If you have a cartoon on bitcoin, you can put it for them to watch and after watching, ask them if they enjoyed it.
Kids develop an interest in something if they see what their parent's or guardians do on a daily basis and not things they don't see...if you are a doctor and they see you with  a Stethoscope everyday,  they too will want it. Unlike bitcoin, it's quite difficult to attract kids using btc unless you talk about it everyday.

As of the cartoons, let's just say Kids are picky with what they watch if they like it they will watch it, you impose it on them guarantee you that they won enjoy it.

and about the cartoon , we must also takes place upon their mental development .
watch with them , learn with them, and enjoy with them.
in this act surely they will start appreciating what we truly wanted them so see.

I can relate when I first wanted my child learn to read alphabet , I bought a CD that has on it and let him watch and understand , of course we are together each time  Grin , but I never offered Him any prize because he loved what he is watching.

I think it is hard to teach kids about bitcoin through cartoons. Of course kids like to watch cartoons, we have this vision formed based on our childhood. But current kids are much different. At my childhood cartoons were something special, something that wasnt aired 24/7. It was basically a 15-25min episode once a day and a +1h cartoon on Sunday. Modern kids have multiple channels that air cartoon 24/4 plus access to YouTube. If a kids now see a cartoon about bitcoin, most likely they will switch it or swipe to something more familiar or popular among their surrounding. Imho if your kid watches these two cartoon, they will only spend time, and with time forget about what they saw, and focus on what is popular among kids right now.

I guess it depends on how much intellect your kids possessed, and the age of course, since kids like 5-7 years old are just after fun stuff, maybe they will enjoy the animation itself but it's rare if they gonna ask you how Bitcoin really works.

Though, it's not a bad idea to introduce bitcoin that way so when their right age comes, and they became interested on such matter, they will bring it up and ask you questions about it.

What will be the proper age to learn about Bitcoin then? We have lots of discussions here already. For example, part of people only see Bitcoin as money. Most of the kids at 5-7 knows already what money are, how to use them, where to get them and etc. Though, I doubt that they will understand difference if I would pay in fiat or in BTC. It is easy to teach them about fiat currencies, if we use travelling as an example (different country, different currency). But right now I cant figure out a plan or situation, when and how I can give example why I am paying or using Bitcoin instead of fiat.

I'm not against teaching kids bitcoin either but if they don't like it, we shouldn't force it. Furthermore, I vehemently oppose OP's method, as he tries to bribe his children just to make them watch bitcoin cartoons. It shows that he is forcing his children and they show no interest in those bitcoin cartoons. Why do many parents never listen to what their children want to say? They only know how to impose their thoughts on their children.

Indeed, teaching kids bitcoin is always the worst idea I've ever seen. Why many parents can force their children to learn unnecessary things at their age? After all, bitcoin is just money, it is not a sublime knowledge or a necessity that anyone should have from an early age. Why not give them a happy childhood and teach them how to behave with people, how to be a better person than just focusing on bitcoin, bitcoin? What effect will that have?
People are forcing their kids to learn many unnecessary things nowadays. They see online that some extraordinary kids can solve math problems at four or five. Some other kid invented something at age eight. Now, people want their kids also should do something extraordinary. What they don't understand is everyone cannot be Einstien. Kids should enjoy their time, and they will learn many things by themself.

It's true sometimes you have to teach them. Do what you like, and your kids will follow you. If parents care about privacy, their kids will learn from their parents. The kid will ask you eventually, "Dad, what is it?". No one should force their kids to learn something that is not mandatory.

Indeed, not only with bitcoin but many parents are forcing their children to learn things that are almost out of their reach, as you said.

I am also a mother of 2, I also have a dream that my child will become as good as the kids on the internet. But honestly, I never force them to do anything because I know each child will have his or her own growth cycle, no one is the same. As far as I remember, most 12-month-old babies take their first steps, but mine didn't walk until 15 months. But the surprise was that when he was 24 months old, my son proved to be stronger and taller than any other child his age. Therefore, as parents, we should closely monitor children's development and provide them with appropriate knowledge. It is possible that our children will be slower than other children during that period, but that does not mean they will lose to the rest of the children in the future.

Bitcoin education too, early education does not mean that they will absorb and develop better than children who are educated later. It all depends on the ability of each child, we should not force them.

Maybe start by explaining that bitcoin is a digital currency that exists only online. Tell them about its decentralized nature where no single entity controls it. Discuss its benefits such as fast and low-cost transactions. Explain the concept of mining, where computers solve complex mathematical problems to validate and secure bitcoin transactions. Encourage them to explore educational resources and websites designed for kids to further their understanding.

I feel like kids below 12 are not the proper age to learn Bitcoin. You might still introduce Bitcoin to them. But, you don't have to teach them Bitcoin completely since it's complicated, and kids at 7-8 won't be able to understand. This is not a mandatory thing to teach them. You can do it later once they grow up and understand things better than now.

You better teach your kids about the importance of having privacy now. Why personal things always should remain personal. Why should they care about their personal things? Why security is essential. Then you can teach them that Bitcoin will help them control their money, and it will remain private.

Kids of nowadays understand money fast, not because they are endowed with it but because they know money is the only way they can buy lollipops and popcorn, but that's all they know, when it comes to finance and investment it feels wrong teaching them because they are not up to the stage yet..

Cartoon is good but I can't figure a way to make such cartoon interesting, even if I have to create one for kids? But what is the end goal for doing this? They still need to grow up first and learn about money/financial freedoms, that's the best time to teach about Bitcoin.

I never became anything that my parents wanted me to become, they forced a few things on me but it didn't work, I still ended up doing my things, my way my world, and I am glad it didn't end in shame.
Endowed means to provide something and so as money. We can use it to get something that we like. Kids nowadays are different to the kids on the past. Now they can't be happy on a simple candy but they are now using their parents credit card to purchase an in-game item or to shop online.

Teaching them about finances is actually a good thing so that they will know that money is not easy to obtain and they will now learn to spend it wisely. One of the ways for the kids to pay attention about that matter is when we convert the discussion into a cartoon show. If you think you are not creative enough, you can ask someone to do it for you. Some kids are still rebellious and won't follow some things that their parents demand. It can be right or wrong depending on the thing we are talking about.

I like the idea of cartoons and kids learning about BTC from them, but rewarding them for watching an episode? I think that’s really bad. They either watch something they like or they won’t care about the episodes anyway if they watch something they don’t want to.
The ideas of cartoons sounds great and my friend uses that but he gets to mix it with the regular ones just to make the kids not feel like they are being punished by being compelled to watch something they don't. Another way to teach kids about Bitcoin is through coloring books or puzzle books  bitcoins. They books are highly colourful, engaging and stimulating. However the kids need a parent or guardian around to ensure that they are actively involved in the learning.

As said at the end, someone should be around to watch their activity. Doing so we'll come to know whether they're interested with the things or they need something else. Kids at their childhood used to spend much time playing and watching things that are much of fantasy. Some might really get interested into technical things. Anyhow we should try to understand their mindset and if they're not concentrating on it we shouldn't force them and make them involved. This in long term could cause hate against those things.

I don't know but I think your use of the word force just make the whole situation awkward and although am also not a fan of exposing your children to stuff their not interested in at a early stage because like you said similar to  you the children also have their own mind to determine actually what they like and I believe when the time is right not even you can tell them to stop when it comes to them wanting to use BTC.

while you have an ongoing plan for your child, that's okay, it's your right as a parent to educate your child in any way, but I think getting used to giving gifts every time your child obeys you might become a bad habit going forward.
In my opinion, giving access to YouTube to children can also make children addicted to looking at cellphones. when my child was small I preferred to focus on training my child's motor skills by inviting him to play offline instead of watching videos online.
I will teach my child if he understands and understands finances.
