 Indeed there are speculations linking Neymar with Newcastle recently. However I don't know about this. Newcastle are about to prove themselves by being a part of the Champions League soon though. Bayern definitely had a huge advantage over Borussia Dortmund at the moment in the fight for the Bundesliga title. Not only because Bayern is now ahead 1 point and have it in their own hands now but also because the way that this happened. Dortmund was already in front of Bayern two times in this season and then immediately after they gave that lead away again. They have lost against Bayern in Munich which can always happen, but then they also did not manage to win against VfB Stuttgart and against Bochum and now i think the momentum is just on the side of Bayern Munich.
That being said, one week ago Dortmund had the big advantage so you never know. Bayern can easily lose some points against Werder Bremen tomorrow.
Actually, yes, one point does not solve anything, since this is a very shaky advantage and everything can change in any round. However this year it went like this, with Juventus starting very badly (if you remember) with 100 injured. An appalling thing. There were people who criticized Allegri, for me he is an excellent coach.
I agree, Alegri is an excellent coach, under the circumstances he achieved very good results, if he manages to keep the team in the top 4 until the end of the season (and I think he will succeed), then we can say that the team finished this championship well. I also see that he prepares young players, it's very smart and next season we can again see the usual Juventus, who are able to compete for the Scudetto. It may focus more on the Champions League which is exactly very hard to do. However, I don't think that they will really drop their performance in La Liga although they will not be able to reach first place. At least, the runner-up is better. But they can fall the point so easily so that Atletico Madrid can take over their place as runner-up. This is a disappointing result. It is not only about the only match vs Real Sociedad but also the previous matches that seem like not going really well.

I think PSG team is going to face big problems. Because there is already a news that Lionel Messi is leaving the PSG team. Much needed win for Mumbai Indians and it happened with style. Rohit Sharma as usual reached the crease and walked back to the pavilion. It started with Ishan kishan and the same is continued by SuryaKumar. Further everyone contributed and made it an easy win. Reaching target of 214 runs isn't an easy thing, from the beginning overs Mumbai Indians kept the runrate and made use of few bowlers well to score big and reach the target. Bowling from SRH is completely disappointing.
I would call this an unexpected performance by the Mumbai Indians. When Punjab Kings made 214 runs in thier first innings i thought it was game over for Mumbai Indians as they would not be able to chase this high score. But some good knock by Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav made it possible. These days it's pretty hard to predict the winners of the IPL matches and also I see teams chasing down the total successfully which may seem quite difficult to chase. @noormcs5 you were not alone to believe that MI would lose this game, as I too had thought that MI would lose yet another game but it’s really good to see them win this match in style. Folks sitting at the top are not interested in the relegation system. LOL.. this is the root cause of all the problems. Current system guarantees that once test status is provided, it can't be taken away. No matter how poorly a team performs, the test status remains with them. And this results in poor standards for test cricket. If teams are confident that even if they perform poorly nothing will happen to them, then why they should put that extra effort to improve their performance? And the biggest joke is that although the ICC has linked fund allocation to performance for the associate nations, they are refusing to implement the same with test nations. BTW, Ashes is about to start in less than 2 months from now. For me, it looked as if Kohli was the one who started provoking Naveen (initially it was the bowler Mohammed Siraj, but then Kohli took over without any reason).   @Sithara007 I have a bizarre theory that these incidents are scripted, because when such incidents takes place then one’s curiosity peak’s up and they get maximum viewership. Lastly IPL popularity grows when there’s drama scenes like these, hence I’m convinced that these incidents are scripted but I wonder if anyone here agrees with my theory or not? |
