With a target of 127 runs, LSG were put into bat at the start and were put under a lot of pressure early on and after six overs of the powerplay LSG collected 34 runs for the loss of four wickets. Wickets include Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran. Although these two batsmen are one of the key players of the team, LSG are batting towards their victory by relying on them.

Congratulations to Lucknow Super Giants, for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. 

I have never seen such a pathetic performance from any of the franchises in IPL for the last few years. They were unable to chase down a target of 127, and that too against pretty ordinary bowlers such as Mohammed Siraj, Glenn Maxwell and Karn Sharma. And what happened to KL Rahul? Was he injured? I can see that he chose to bat at no.11. Anyway, given his recent form, it was perhaps a good decision for him to relegate himself and bat down the order. LSG batting was overdependent on Kyle Mayers, Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran. And this time all three of them failed.

Even though RCB struggled to collect runs only made 127 runs but their strong bowling attack made sure to put LSG under pressure from the very beginning. Because we have enough understanding of the skills of LSG batsmen, the size of batsmen they have in their team, they have the ability to bat at any target they want to win.

This season I am hearing a lot of allegations of match fixing on IPL matches. The match between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians tops the chart. With 17 runs needed off the last over, Jason Holder somehow managed to bowl three consecutive full-tosses. And Tim David told him "thank you so much" and dispatched them to the pavilion for three consecutive 6s. A lot of people were accusing Holder of match fixing after the match, but I am not sure. Perhaps it is just that he had a bad day. And remember that this guy was included in the place of Adam Zampa, who performed exceptionally well till now.

It amazes me that a team like LSG can't win by batting for just 127 runs. If LSG wins this match, they can take the top spot in the table. They missed the opportunity. And LSG is third in the table. And Bengaluru finished fifth with equal points

The pitch helped the bowlers a lot. It was a bowling-friendly pitch. Apart from Bangalore's two openers, Kohli and du Plessis, no other batsman could bat well. On the other hand, the performance of all the batsmen of LSG was poor even for such a low target. None of the batsmen batted responsibly. And could not stay at the crease for long. It is becoming difficult for LSG to stay in the top four of the table.

Gujarat Titans who are at the top of the points table will play against the bottom team Delhi Capitals today. However, it looks like an easy win awaits Gujarat Titans. Because the Gujarat team is very strong and the players of this team are consistently performing well. Even then there is no way to say for sure that Gujarat will win this match. They also have the possibility of defeat. The Lucknow team was unexpectedly defeated yesterday against Bengaluru. Lucknow could not win even after batting for only 127 runs. And so even if Gujarat is in very good form, there is no chance of winning if the players don't play well. We have seen many times in the IPL that the under-favored teams have won against the strong teams.

Both teams fought valiantly to earn a victory in their matchup against Royal Challengers Bangalore and LSG. A low scoring game that keeps spectators on the edge of their seats right up to the very end is always entertaining to watch. It must have been amazing to watch Josh Hazlewood outstanding bowling performance and Faf du Plessis significant innings. Although RCB had trouble scoring runs their potent bowling attack and pressure applying strategies ultimately paid off. Cricket matches like this are always exciting to watch and I know both teams gave it their all. Royal Challengers Bangalore deserves praise for their well-deserved triumph.

Rajasthan Royals   vs  Mumbai Indians

Congratulations to Mumbai Indians won by 6 Wickets against Rajasthan Royals. It was a thrilling match with Mumbai Indians needing to chase down a target of 213 runs which seemed quite challenging. But thanks to Suryakumar Yadav for his fifty 55 runs in just 29 balls and Tim Dawid's stunning performance of unbeaten 45 off just 14 balls along with excellent contributions from Cameron Green 44 runs in 26 balls. Mumbai was able to achieve the target with 6 wickets and 3 balls left in the match. Despite the loss Yashasvi Jaiswal player of the match from Rajasthan Royals deserves for his incredible hundred scoring 124 runs in just 62 balls.

In particular, Rajasthan Royals lost to Mumbai Indians to top the points table and came to the second tier. This match was very important for Rajasthan Royals to win as all but one batsman performed very poorly. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the only good performer for the team but the rest of the batting performance was poor which was the main reason for Rajasthan Royals' loss. And the batting of Mumbai Indians was very bad in the beginning but towards the last due to the poor bowling performance of Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians won.

Rajasthan probably thought they were going to win easily after being given a target of 213 runs. But while Rajasthan's batsmen did well, their bowlers' performance was very poor. Especially I would say about Jason Holder's performance. Rajasthan might not have been defeated if Jason Holder had been able to bowl a bit better. Jason Holder gave away 55 runs in 3.3 overs. Also, Boult gave 43 runs in 4 overs.
Mumbai won this match but they are seventh in the table. If they win the next matches, maybe the Mumbai team can be in the four points table. But the probability of this is very low.

Too many ugly scenes during this year's IPL. Yesterday there was an argument between Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli, after Gautam tried to intervene in an altercation between Virat and Naveen. It got really ugly and these two players had to be physically pulled away by other players. And then Naveen posted a few cryptic messages in his Instagram. For me, it looked as if Kohli was the one who started provoking Naveen (initially it was the bowler Mohammed Siraj, but then Kohli took over without any reason).

I can't even believe that Lucknow Super Giants lost because yesterday's ground was famous for its bowling page. Bangalore though conceded a few runs to the Lucknow Super Giants, but could not meet the conditions. It is most difficult to research such terrible match, because if I say gujarat which team will win today Delhi capital vs gujarat titans game today. But in IPL such a situation can change anytime Gujarati Titans are strong but Delhi Capitals team is the lowest quality team in IPL. But today I will bet for Titans team in Gujarat because Gujarat is the team with the most points in the points table.

@Sithara007 I have a bizarre theory that these incidents are scripted, because when such incidents takes place then one’s curiosity peak’s up and they get maximum viewership. Lastly IPL popularity grows when there’s drama scenes like these, hence I’m convinced that these incidents are scripted but I wonder if anyone here agrees with my theory or not?
