721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 25, 2021, 02:28:15 AM

Anyway, I'll take whatever I can get when I won the lottery whether if the government takes 70% from it.

No way even if it's a huge amount, I will take the money but I will question the government and the organizations, it's going to be a big black eye for the lottery company if bettors find out that the government is taking 70% or even 60%, now people in that region knows that the government is going to rob them if they win a lottery.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin has the lowest fee to transfer beside XRP? on: January 23, 2021, 01:36:29 PM
I used to transfer XRP to different exchanges to trade because it is cheap and fast in 60 seconds.  Now XRP is delisted in many exchanges.  I try to use USDC to transfer fund but the fee is high $3 - $8 per transaction.  What is other coin that I can transfer fast and cheap like XRP?  Thanks.

Because of Ethereum high fees, other coins and tokens become relevant my choice of coin and token to transact that offer low fees are Doge and Tron, you can also consider Litecoin, these tokens and coins have become a better alternative because Ethereum now has very high fees, I looked on gas tracker before I made a transaction and shocked to see that fees even reach $15.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDO is going to replace IEO? on: January 23, 2021, 12:59:56 PM

IDO is initial decentralized offering, these crowdfunding takes place on decentralized exchanges only, I don't see the difference in perform between ICO and IDO, the difference is just that one is centralized and other is decentralized, the success of a projects will forever lies in the projects capability and how smart the teams are

Whatever crowdfunding used by the developers it all goes up on the potential of the project, who are the people behind the team what are their capabilities, and what does the project can contribute to the community, IDO looks interesting but I prefer using the same parameters I used when checking how good is the project even if IDO looks safe.

725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: January 21, 2021, 05:42:36 AM
I'm glad for you. And I have a feeling I’ve gotten some simpler flips, maybe people tried to simplify as much as possible, not wanting to risk bad flips.
Next validation is very important for you (for me it will also be valuable) because you will be eligible to get your own invite which can bring you more idena in future.

Today Idena validation results are: 5424 identities are validated (+11.6%) which is significantly more than the previous time, because of that, slightly smaller rewards came.

people using simple flip because when somebody report your flip all the reward are gone  Cry Cry

We must make our flip as understandable as possible, I go through a lot of time thinking about how to make my flip as simple as possible even to the point o asking some of my friends for help if the flip is understandable and can easily trace and understand, I don't want to lose my rewards because validation is very important to get more rewards.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New feature on AltcoinsTalks forum - you can teleport your rank from bitcointalk on: January 21, 2021, 05:31:07 AM
I wonder how many members here have taken this opportunity to teleport their rank, if you are a high ranking member of Bitcointalk and you have a newbie account on altcoin talk, this is a big leap from your altcoinstalk rank, if will take some time for your newbie account to rank to legendary on altcoinstalk, can admin share their stat it will increase activities in altcoinstalk because there are now many bounty campaigns in altcoinstalk.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when ETH was $1400 a few years ago then crashed to $70 as BTC crashed? on: January 21, 2021, 04:58:40 AM
ETH really is a shitcoin with no intrinsic value. Its not a store of value since when bitcoin crashes 20% then ETH crashes 50%. When Bitcoin rises ETH barely follows, ETH is still 65% down compared to the recent BTC rise.

2018: Bitcoin $19000, ETH $1400
2021: Bitcoin $32000, ETH $1000

If you stayed in ETH you have lost more money than Enron. ETH is a scam.

There is alot of new projects that do everything better than ETH or will in the future. Let us find something better than ETH that we can all buy for cheap now have a giant distribution for everyone and then go to the moon! No need to make ETH devs and people owning 50000 ETH rich for sucking $20 transaction fees out of us.

Ethereum has no intrinsic value when it is the second popular coin in the market? if this Ethereum is a shitcoin with no value at all then all coins with the exception of Bitcoin has no value and we do not have to do any research at all because all coins are shitcoin, after Ethereum achieved its position, we should give it the respect it deserves.
728  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Bitcoin goes off this Institutionalized expected Bull-Run? on: January 21, 2021, 03:54:46 AM
Everybody is expecting btc to hit 100k this year because of the so called, from all that institutional and hedge fund buying of it that caused this bull btc cycle, and of course you will get 30% healthy corrections in this cycle along the way but:

What if there was no black swan event this year and bitcoin instead of a correction, crashes back to 20k or 15k because there's no more institutions left to buy it?

Institutions are smart people smart money so why they buy at any given market price when they can save and get it cheaper in a correction or a crash?

If institutions decide to buy when the market crash, they must know if that crash will come or they will wait with uncertainty, institutions have huge funds they continue to buy even small amounts when the market is up and buy even more when the market is down, institutions are not thinking the same way because they are also competing on the price.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: January 19, 2021, 03:00:21 PM
anyone with a invite? I have been in crypto for years. Not with much luck though  Grin Really interested in this one

Less than 3hours left for next validation. If your wallet synchronised, try on Telegram group https://t.me/Idenacodes and ask for invite code.
you have to know that it is necessary to start your wallet much before validation start, after the restart, they also need to sync. don't wait for the last minute.

I passed the second validation so far so good got 91% score in the validation, getting passed is easier now, hopefully it will continue this way I'm looking forward to my third validation so I can unlocked my tokens, I have second thought because I changed my internet provider, glad that my new internet provider deliver when I need it most.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will this scam go on? on: January 19, 2021, 02:49:50 PM
In just 11 years of cryptocurrencies existence we've seen a series of shitcoins coming up, making a choice on which coin to hold aside $BTC & $ETH $BET $DOT $ADA & LINK is becoming difficult, how best can I get to know more viable  projects like the ones I already have? When will the proliferation of shitcoins in crypto space stop? Who will check mate the proliferation of shitcoins?

The key here is education, this is the only way to find out what coins to invest and to discard, shitcoins are always going to be here , because there are loopholes here and many are full of greed that these scammers can easily deceive these newbies who cannot moderate their greed and easily believe on what are being presented to them.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exodus Wallet - Secure Backup? on: January 18, 2021, 10:41:13 PM
Exodus is a legit company and they are unlikely to scam people not this time when the market is doing great in the market, I am using Exodus wallet and you have an option to back up your wallet pass phrase and private key, if ever they are going to close they will do an announcement because they are regulated.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Benefited from AME Token? on: January 16, 2021, 03:58:38 AM
Congrats to those who benefits from AME tokens which they received from campaigns and investments. The price of it drops due to selling of other holders but it is normal for a project's first listing. But it is a good idea for the development team for having a buyback to prevent the massive dumping of their tokens I really admire their efforts.

Only a few projects implemented that buyback plan, this could only mean that they are serious about improving and rolling out the project, we will have more about Amepay a lot, price is not good right now, but with the news of MXC listing them, there will be an improvement on the price, glad I still have Amepay, the high transaction fee made me not to sell this coin early.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: January 15, 2021, 02:19:24 PM
Users may claim otherwise, but it is human tendency to wait for better and larger profits. So very few of us are likely to sell our coins, when the prices are moving up. Only the most disciplined investors, who strictly keep their targets form an exception to this rule. And in most cases, when we face financial crunch the exchange rates will be quite low. So we will be forced to sell our coins at a loss in that situation.

That's true we are all human even if we invest what we can afford to lose, we will feel worried because all the investment we are hoping to make a profit, whether we admit it or not, we always have a tendency to be worried even if we try not to, it's still money.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could ether hit 100k? on: January 15, 2021, 01:21:51 PM
So many people are asking about When Eth and Bitcoin  hit this amount or level these are holders who are very impatient and in a hurry to sell in profit, it's not how it works, people here want to make a profit right away after buying if you want that it's better to do day trading, you need patient and follow the market, it takes time, Rome was not build in a day.
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amepay raised 84.6 million in their IEO on: January 15, 2021, 12:01:44 PM

I'm not familiar with MXC.COM exchange, but upon looking at CMC (https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/mxc/), this is also a big exchange with almost $1 billion trading volume. In terms of liquidity, this is a big help for AMEPAY, hopefully they'll get good volume.

I traded some of my coins there in MXC and it's one of the most secured and almost all coins have liquidity, they have picked the right exchange and I'm looking forward to trading again here once they got in here I'm sure many investors and traders will take notice of Amepay, it's one of the successful ICO, a lot of projects have not reached what they've reached.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The reason behind the XRP's 2nd wave of hard dump! on: January 11, 2021, 12:13:07 PM
So what do they have to do?

Just stand there and play like the band on the Titanic while all the rats scurry away.

It seems lose lose for them.

It seems that is what's happening, they are trying to fight it out in the court but it's going to be a very long battle ahead if they believe that they have a chance in the court, then why not do buy support, investors are watching on every move coming from SEC and Ripple and every news will have an impact on the price and the standing of Ripple in the market.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ETH break it's ATH? on: January 11, 2021, 11:17:12 AM
Eth has crossed 1000$ last night, could we expext that we will see a new ATH within 3-4weeks??

I'm 100% sure that it can and it will break its old all-time high record, things are flourishing now in Cryptocurrency only 22% to go before they break their old records and Eth 2.0 is coming it can even surpass the $2000 mark, with so many projects using and will be using Ethereum, it's the second coin in the market that will break its old record.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth season or alt season already? on: January 10, 2021, 12:46:06 AM

And again do you think altcoin season is now in action or not?

Not all altcoins will perform in this bull run, only altcoins that have proven themselves for the past years are likely going to make their season felt, new altcoins I believe are not going to enjoy it, I have a lot of new altcoins and they are not delivering, their price is not moving and some of them are even going down.
739  Economy / Speculation / Re: Play smart, set exit points, take profit, re-enter on: January 08, 2021, 05:46:04 AM
Been here since 2013 and I already saw this happening at least twice (2014, 2018). The price skyrockets, predictions are crazy, companies get in, adoption seems to get boosted, and many other things we are experiencing now. Then, one day the price goes down. From 1200 to 200 (2014), from 20000 to 3900 (2018). I know we all want this time to be different, but I truly think it's going to be the same.

Be Smart. Define points to sell and transform the numbers on your wallet on FIAT. Chances are you will see it crash and go much lower than your exits. If you are a holder, then this will allow you to buy cheaper.

Those are my two cents ...

It's good if we have an indication that it's going to have a repeat, what happened back in 2017 was fast and unexpected, right now we expect this to happen but we need to see an indication of when will this big pump going to end, the only difference I've seen so far is only the top coins in the market are making huge pump but other altcoins especially new ones are not experiencing pump, this is the only difference.
740  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin even crash more than 20% in 2021? on: January 08, 2021, 05:06:41 AM

Will it just keep going up this year, 50k, 80k, 100k....? After experiencing previous crashes I must say my euphoria from the recent rush was HUGE but now its fading a bit since the rise of my Bitcoins is just so fast like a knife thru butter.

Is this the begin of the end?

I have the same thinking and opinion we are caught by a big surprise by this big pump that we are thinking if there is going to be a big crash at the end of the tunnel, I hope the market stabilizes and there will no crash that is going to happen along the way, we all want to enjoy the ride but we have to check if there are crash coming so we can prepare ourselves.
