721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New trend PEPE ? Seems many projects Launching with PEPE Names. on: May 12, 2023, 02:24:10 PM

This is nothing new. You all must be familiar with DOGE and SHIBA. Then what about babydoge, elonmusk doge, flokky inu, bone inu or whatever (correct me if I'm wrong). This is a trend wave that is happening in the cryptocurrency world and will continue to happen.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats Your Favourite Meme Coins? on: May 12, 2023, 02:16:52 PM
The best is DOGE and the worst is SHIBA. I've made thousands of dollars from DOGE then lost a few of them to SHIBA. Maybe this is relative for everyone but for me this is from my personal experience.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: May 12, 2023, 02:06:50 PM
Too good to be true. Exactly as you have said. No debate. What can you do with $100 in the crypto world and earn $7,000? Even $1,000 is still very unlikely. I think being $200 is very real and then you turn 200 to 400 and then to $800. That makes more sense to me.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is currently the best crypto to invest in? on: May 12, 2023, 01:56:57 PM
I think BNB is the best. But that was then. Times have changed and a shift in the crypto world is bound to happen. Maybe the answer I'm about to give right now won't be relevant anymore for the next few months. I think it is better for you to do the research at your own risk.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin? on: May 12, 2023, 01:50:55 PM
I'm in crypo world since 2021 only and since then I've noticed a lot of folks talking about Tether as being a potentional scam that may crash the markets one day and I've watched videos from crypto detectives/scam busters such as Coffeezilla and he makes some pretty fair points about Tether being the cryptos biggest scam.

I wanna personally know from people who have been in crypto for little longer than I have and maybe know a few things more or could share their personal view on Tether.

My side question to this would also be: Which type of stablecoin do You find the most credible in the Crypto space?

Thanks in advance for more experienced folks for sharing their insight!

Honestly USDT is the best crypto asset I ever know. I've converted the coins and tokens that I've gotten from airdrops or bounty hunters and I'm converting them all to USDT. Because I believe USDT is the best asset for the long term.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PEPE AI Scamcoin ? on: May 12, 2023, 01:40:20 PM

I've looked at the website and have seen it on Coin Gecko. I think token memes with a price of $0.00000xxx have the potential to be scams and cheats. Maybe for now there is no notification or investigation about that but I think it's better for us to be careful.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Liechtenstein is considering to accept bitcoin for government payments on: May 11, 2023, 09:22:06 AM
" It is worth mentioning that the politician failed to provide details on whether Liechtenstein intends to embrace BTC as a legal tender, similar to what El Salvador and the Central African Republic did in 2021 and 2022, respectively."

That is one paragraph that has been submitted on the link that you have provided. And I think that's an important point here. It was stated that it was a discourse from a politician and whether it would actually be implemented we would not yet know.

He gave the example of 2 countries that have actually legalized BTC such as El Salvador and the Central African Republic and did not mention that Liechtenstein would be like that too.

It's important to read what the OP has linked to us.

For me, an adoption is when I have Bitcoin and I can freely pay it anywhere, at any time, and without any obvious overpayment, using various payment options, whether it be the main network or other network add-ons. The current situation shows that bitcoin has big problems with adoption and its main function is shifting even more towards speculation and fun, and not to give people freedom and something else.

I very much agree with your statement on this one. Very interesting! I am among those who are sad about the current direction of Bitcoin development  Sad. Many people have adopted Bitcoin for speculation and fun. I think that the benefit of Bitcoin is that we can make all forms of payment transactions as freely as possible, anywhere and anytime. It's fun to imagine we can pay monthly internet bills or buy domains using some of the bitcoins.

And as for NFTs, I honestly think it's a stupid idea that some people think is cool. I mean what will we get from an NFT ? Sure, some NFTs offer benefits and exclusivity, but come on! How many of these so-called NFTs end up being trash on the blockchain network because so many people are trying to profit there? Which in the end only made the direction of development of the Blockchain network towards something that was not really needed.
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin will become stable currency? on: May 11, 2023, 09:02:37 AM
I've always seen Bitcoin as an asset, not money. My point is that the price of BTC is unpredictable so it cannot be said that it has a stable price. I instead think that BTC is not stable in its price.
Because the price of BTC is greatly affected by how much demand there is in the market and it adheres to a basic economic law that I think we all learned in school.

2. INVESTING ON MIND: Invest in knowledge before putting your hard earned money on bitcoin, the opportunities in the market is unlimited. Do not fall for the Fear of Missing Out because the opportunities always existing in the market especially if you train your mind to see it. People do not see those opportunities because they never invest in their knowledge.

I have read your entire topic and I think you are extraordinary because you have compiled a good and correct way of investing according to your experience. It really helps people in this forum to increase their knowledge about how to invest properly and correctly.

And for the record, I COMPLETELY AGREE with what you said in the second point. That opportunities in the market are always open and exist. Throw away the mental block that says it's too late. We are the last to get a slice of the pie from the market today.

Every change that occurs is very dynamic so that for every change and adaptation to the market that we make, there are always opportunities for people who want to see these opportunities.
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I believe that Bitcoin will make me independent on: May 11, 2023, 08:36:16 AM
I deeply sympathize with and sorry for your health. I only hope the best for you. It's not easy being someone like you. I really respect your desire to ensure the well-being of your family.
I'm just like you. I am a long term HODLer. I think it's a good move for you not to gamble in cryptocurrency by buying some shitcoins.
Keep investing in BTC, ETH or BNB ma bro  Grin and I believe that one day you will become a successful person.

I respect your optimistic decision that has said bitcoin will hit $100k. But the problem is that it's nothing new. In 2020 and 2021 many people also believe that BTC will hit 100k dollars.
If realistically speaking, your decision to invest in BTC instead of the Bank is a good decision. But what you have to remember is that every economic system in this world has its advantages. If you put your all into BTC I'm afraid that if something like theft and digital crime happens then all of your savings will be completely wiped out.
I advise you to save and invest in BITCOIN and also to save some of your assets in the BANK. Because in my opinion, of course you still need a bank because of banking systems such as credit cards, debit cards, or transactions between platforms, for example.

734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Fun Question Here] Where Would You Live As a Bitcoin Millionaire? on: May 07, 2023, 06:37:56 AM
YES

I will move to another country that is better in terms of government, technology and of course legalizing Bitcoin as a digital asset. I'm not a nationalist. I think more about my future and that of my children. I will move to a country where I can develop.

For your information, I am a fan of Martial Arts, especially UFC. There I saw many fighters who were born in Nigeria and became world champions. And what they all have in common is that they were born in Nigeria but they became the best because they moved to another country which helped them develop their skills.

Many football players from Nigeria have migrated abroad, such as to England, then become successful and super rich, in the end they can provide capital, education and health contributions for their country.

I only suggest moving from your country but don't lose your identity. You are Nigerian and will forever be. It doesn't matter what country you live in.
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - what is your plan when we reach $100k? on: May 07, 2023, 06:26:41 AM
I am a Businessman. The first thing I did when BTC hit $100k was take my capital back and enjoy a bit of profit. I believe effort must be paid in full. I currently have some BTC in my wallet. But I only enjoy a little profit and have not taken my investment capital at all.

Of course I will divide my BTC into several altcoins if it really reaches 100k dollars. Because I am a trader and a speculator so it is certain that I will enjoy my gambling with altcoins. That will only happen if I really have earned 100k dollars in 1 BTC  Grin Grin
736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin overshadowed by economic lie on: May 07, 2023, 06:07:42 AM
I have known Bitcoin for half a decade. At that time Bitcoin was at its highest peak. Even so it has not been able to touch more than 10% of the world's population to take part of Bitcoin.

Indeed, the system that exists in the world today is a form of manipulation by those who control the world. I believe in conspiracy theories that say that in the world there are certain people who control humans through the economy.

I believe BTC can provide something more honest and fair than current FIAT money. But there is a lot of negative news about Bitcoin. I believe there are people playing behind all of this. They participate in Bitcoin and worsen BTC's image in the eyes of the world community. But I believe in the next few decades people will know the value of Bitcoin and it will be the downfall of the people who control this world.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking help with PEPE on coinbase wallet on: May 06, 2023, 02:36:48 PM
PEPE is a project that resides on the Ethereum network. You can check how much fee gas you need on the gas fee tracker website. I don't know how it will work but I think currently the Gas fees from ETH are quite high if you only trade small amounts.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investor lose billionaire opportunity -Damien Slash lost it over MEME coin SHIBA on: May 06, 2023, 02:24:29 PM
All missed opportunities are due to our ignorance of the future. People who had bought pizza with their bitcoins back then never thought it would reach its current price. Demian who has invested as much as $2,000 certainly never thought what would happen to the current price of SHiba. I think there is a lot of pain in the world for missing the opportunity to become a millionaire. And besides that there are also many people in this world who have lost billions of dollars in their pockets because they bought Shiba and then the price dropped and continued to decline
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Confident Are you With Altcoin In This Time on: May 06, 2023, 02:15:32 PM
I have invested in many altcoin projects. Some of them have shown a positive direction. I think this year is the year of altcoins. It is my personal view that you will earn a lot by investing in altcoins
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: May 06, 2023, 02:06:37 PM
Nobody really likes altcoi if it weren't for the benefits and low prices they offer. If I had $60,000 I would prefer to invest in BTC ETH or BNB. But since I only have $1,000 in my pocket, of course I will try to find altcoins that have good potential. This is the reality experienced by many people in this forum I think.  Grin Grin
