7201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: November 01, 2017, 02:51:30 AM
It is very hard to predict who will be the winner for this season, no one can predict even NBA specialists and old players. But Golden State Worriors still have that little advantage in every game even in play offs.
Stefen Curry looks on fire in this beginning of the new season with his teammates so I will bet from now that they will be in final but I can't predict the oppenent.
I learned my lessons in the past, "Never bet against the warriors", that is regardless of the odds because they are just so good that they can cover even if the spread is high. Betting on the Warriors will make you profitable, if you are familiar with the Martingale method you can apply that by betting the warriors alone, they are the most consistent team in the NBA and every time they loss, they bounce back very hard.

So are you saying that they are like bitcoin? LOL

Its really hard to bet against them because you may see them off night today, but when tomorrow comes, they are not the team that you saw last night. Just like you said they bounce back really hard  because they have a lot of star players that can cover if the other has a off night. Well its profitable 2 years ago when they were defeated by the Cavs and I got a good windfall from it, but last year was different though. This season too early to tell, but yeah I have to agree with you that "Never bet against the warriors" attitude.
7202  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any insights on this company called LoanBit? on: November 01, 2017, 02:18:00 AM
Hey dudes,

You guys ever heard of this lending business called LoanBit?

They got some nice interest rates for lending BTC to their business-funding pool. From 2 to 4% daily, very short-term contracts.

Since they're pretty much new to the market (seem to have been created earlier this month), anyone got any insights on them?

Link to their site: https://loanbit.net/

Link to their only thread I could find on BTCTalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2227640.msg22481675;topicseen#msg22481675

Thank y'all, cheers

Hmm looks like the website is ponzi/hyip so stay away from it mate. And this is the first time I heard about this site, so for me, they don't look trusted plus there are a lot of websites popping late with the sole intention of scamming a lot of people bitcoin investment is the hottest trend right now. With that said, I'm not getting to put my hard earned money in there, and there are no such thing as safe investment or lending business in bitcoin world that I know off.
7203  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-31]Survey: Younger Americans More Interested in Cryptocurrencies, ICOs on: November 01, 2017, 02:02:39 AM
I think it just shows that Americans are steadily finding cryptocurrencies as good investment platforms are compare to the old generations who still thinks like Warren Buffet. that stocks or gold are the real deal. And I think that age bracket (18-45)as well are the age of most of the crypto enthusiast here in the forum. So for me, its no surprise that this age bracket born around early 1970's who are then yuppers in the dotcom bubble era would put their money in crypto because they have seen something like this before, whether they consider bitcoin as bubble or not today.
7204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GO AHEAD.... STEAL MY SEED!! on: November 01, 2017, 01:35:10 AM

What are you sophisticated bitcoin thiefs ( and I know you prowl around this forum) gonna do now? huh? you bitches!!! I now have a hardware wallet with a seed and a passphrase at the end of it. You ain't gonna get steal diddly squat.... LOL

I think you  get your chances very high that the hackers can't get your coins because you now have a hardware wallet. But we all know that hackers will try to do everything they can just to steal someone's coins, you just gave them a slim chance because of your coins now are sitting in a hardware wallet. So If I were you don't give them a chance. LOL. Keep your private key and seeds safe from the prying eyes otherwise no matter how cool you are, those bitches are going to take it once you go to sleep. hahahhaa.
7205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi see the coming of Altcoin? on: October 31, 2017, 10:46:38 PM
Any info on this?

Did he (or his co-creator like theymos) foresaw the coming of other Cryptocurrencies?  Is there any where he use the name Altcoin or similar names? Just curious...

This is a very nice question mate.

Personally, I don't think that the great Satoshi didn't see it coming. I don't think that he mentions something like altcoin in his p2p paper. Maybe it didn't crossed their mind in the beginning that their would be altcoin besides bitcoin. However, bitcoin code is open source, so there's also a possible that someone will 'fork' a new coin out of their original coins. But for me they didn't see it coming specially when they are creating this coin.
7206  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-30] Bitcoin reaches new all-time high on: October 31, 2017, 09:38:33 PM
Today, bitcoin reaches another ATH at $6400. Its truly amazing how massive this run that we are seeing. Maybe tomorrow we gonna see another new ATH so its gonna be no surprise from us all.

Bitcoins always have a price hike before forks or segwit. Maybe because many are investing more in bitcoin because they know that there will be a big dump and a big bounce back. Well that is just based on my own opinion.
Some sell off their alts, some hold both but during times like this more are trusting bitcoin.
Better be ready for more profits in holding guys. Buy more.
More power to bitcoin. The growth of bitcoins will always depend on its users.

I think your opinion is very correct. Every time we have a fork the price goes up and sometimes it really holds up. That's why the price continue to pick up and because investors have learned to trust the market.
7207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: October 31, 2017, 08:49:59 PM
Warriors is back! 74 points in the first half.

Yeah I guess they are back now 141 vs. 113 so that's a legit game coming from Golden State Warriors. So their warm up is now done and we will expect them with their next game at their best.

It's too early to tell if they're clicking over one game. But hey, if they continue to be at this level of performance, they're gonna sweep through the championships again.

You're right, still too early to say let's wait until the semi's or quarter finals will come so we'll see on what are those teams that are good as a contender.

I don't know what to say, is this the falling down of Golden State Warriors? Is this the end of their NBA championship momentum? And for sure many fans are going to be a bandwagon at this rate when they are seeing their favorite team losing to some underrated teams.

Hard to speculate. Maybe their is some deep reason why the Golden State Warriors are not on their winnings ways. Its understandable from Cavaliers because they have shape up a lot of players. But Golden State case is different. Maybe they are losing interest or badluck or something is going on behind the camera. Let's hope this is just bad luck so that they can go back in November and at least have a good winning run.

You are quite late on the news that they've won against Los Angeles Clippers and the scores are really impressive coming from the Golden State Warriors. I'll stop speculating about any team for now since it's quite early to tell a thing about them.

So I guess its just a bump on the road for the Warriors. It just shows that even super teams need to go to a slump sometimes to really show what they are made of and GSW is no exception.

They are the defending champions so it make sense that they have at least the advantage because they already know the road on getting there. It's just that we are used to seeing them on a losing streak. But they already won and confidence is back.
7208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: alcurex exchange is safe? on: October 31, 2017, 07:52:59 PM
Today I was looking where to move my coins from Novaexchange (they'll have new management ...) i read about https://alcurex.com
anybody use it? is safe?

Yes, Novaexchange is changing management next year so its really good to really moved your coins somewhere else. However, I never heard of alcurex.com before. And here if you are not familiar and never heard of the trading exchanges, they are already put into suspect. If I'm were you, I would go somewhere or someone that is trusted. Because its looks like alcurex hasn't been gain enough traction in our community. I don't know if they have been in the market long enough, but I suspect that they aren't. So just be careful.
7209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at all time high $6000 on: October 31, 2017, 06:42:07 PM
Heyyy guys , bitcoin at $6000 after world bank president said "buying bitcoin at 5200 is too expensive "  ... what price do you see the market will close this year at ? Thanks all  Wink

Congratulations to everyone who had faith in Bitcoins and waited till date as the value as now gone over 6400 to create a new ATH and we are creating new records everyday which is super-amazing. I never thought of this to become true (as faith can't become truth always) but it's like a dream come true. I feel that we won't stop till 10k but 7500 looks a better target for this year's end because big amount of investors are getting in and becoming the reason for the rally. Let's not stop here, let's not sell and make them buy for even higher prices.  Wink

Thank you. LOL. Yes, bitcoin price is now very high and no one would have thought that in the beginning of the year bitcoin price is less than $1000 and now the price is way above $6000 and we still not yet at the end of the year. Though its gonna be a psychological barrier for most traders once its hit $6500, but we will see because its looks like we are heading to $7000 and who knows what will be the final price for this year.
7210  Economy / Economics / Re: Easiest way to make BTC? on: October 31, 2017, 05:38:25 PM
If you have enough money, then the easiest way to make Btc is buying bitcoins. But,  if you don't want to lose your money in order to get bitcoin,  then you can follow airdrops or giveaway.

Nah, I don't advise airdrops or giveaways. I would rather join a signature campaign, at least you are earning a decent every week instead of gambling in airdrops which recently is being exposed as not paying and a little bit suspicious because some of them are asking for your private keys. Signature campaign is really the best option to get 'free' and safe bitcoins. Of course if you have huge amounts of money, then buy bitcoin anytime and hodl it for a long term. Hassle free no need to worries and just let your bitcoin sit for a long time.
7211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: October 31, 2017, 03:53:17 PM

I want to generate a constant monthly gain. Is it possible to do this by bitcoin trading? So, can I just do this by dealing with BTC trading?
Are there any people among us who can make a living by trading in BTC?
Actually it's depend much on how sucess on your trading. So the income will not be firmed. Maybe this moth you could make a lot but the next month isn't . Or you could loss all your capital in a trash "big mouth" coin . So the possibility is yes but you have to be careful. Preposition, anything could be happen even Bitcoin becomes nothing.

Its really like a gamble for you are going to look at it more closely. That's why you can't really rely on bitcoin trading as a fixed income. Many have tried but I think only few has become successful. And for those who have successful, I think they have invested a lot of their money and time on it. So its also like a job for them. But for most of us here, its not really advisable, much better to get a regular job than to depend on income of our trading activity.
7212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just jumped $200, and then dumped $100... on: October 31, 2017, 03:18:24 PM
I don't like what I'm seeing, looks like someone from behind is manipulating the price to their advantage. The price swing is not organic for me, the only one that is benefiting from all of it is the whales. As much as this practice is really fraudulent, we cant really do anything about it. I hope casual traders are not swept by this market manipulators though, and hope that they can at least get a share from the profit today.
7213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: October 31, 2017, 02:04:17 PM
Its already done with lots of peoples they are earning more than salaried peoples because of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies . Lots of people in my country doing crypto currency trading as main work . Even lots of my friends doing freelancing in exchange of bitcoin.

But bitcoin was not designed to eliminate unemployment though. It may help most individuals but I don't know if it can significantly affect he unemployment statistics. Well good for your friends for finding bitcoin and earning money out of it, however, they are still a lot of us who still works a stable job because we can't really rely on bitcoin alone.
7214  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Nova is closing? on: October 30, 2017, 07:43:28 PM
When will be the last time to withdraw?

It seems to be on 2018-04-01. I suggest you withdraw as soon as possible from the platform, like month before or so. However they are only closing the site temporarily so because someone else will take over the exchange, and i hope they will make it more professional  and  improve.
However i find it pretty unfortunate, since novaexchange to this date was one of the best exchanges. However we still seem to have few months left to trade on their platform.

I will also take that route to avoid hassle when the change of ownership happens. Its a business moved however, we don't know what will the direction of the new owner. So to be on the safe side, I would suggest to at least withdraw if you still have coins trading in their. And then come back once the new management takes place. Although I didn't register or do trading with that site because I'm a little bit skeptics in the beginning.
7215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest bitcoin? on: October 30, 2017, 02:33:04 PM
For most, just buying Bitcoin when it's a little lower than the normal, and holding the coins would be a good idea but not for the faint of heart.
If you're more adventurous, then go ahead and buy altcoins when they are low in value and then trade them up.
Now maybe we'll be hard enough to see the bitcoin price go down. one of the best alternatives is to buy some Altcoin, you should be able to see that how an altcoin will evolve because not all altcoins have good prospects. so keep an eye on every move that occurs, the slightest statement will usually affect the bitcoin price in the future. the more we pay attention the more our chances to make a profit.

That's why its really hard to be a successful trader because you need to spend a lot of time to watch how the price is moving specially you have to pay attention if its going in your favor. So it you are still a rookie trader, its better to try it at altcoin section first and get a feel of the market, observed the price movement and see where it goes. If you think you have the guts then you can moved to bitcoin market as you gain confidence.
7216  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Reach $6248 on: October 30, 2017, 01:52:15 PM
BTC price reach $ 6248  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
I know It's not unexpected. But History tells every High pick to bring a Big Drop. Everyone waiting for the drop.  Looking for Some meaningful thought about Bitcoin Next 7 day's price. It will be very helpful for BTC Community.

For me, it looks like the sentiment is that it will be very bullish in the next 7 days specially the rumor that the Chinese exchanges are going back online and operational and it is allowed by the government already. This kind of news will really push the market to be bullish that's why the price is increasing and I think its a new ATH again today. And if the rumors is confirmed then expect the price to go as high as $7000 but if its not then maybe we can go back below $6000.
7217  Economy / Economics / Re: Is China making a U-Turn with Huobi? on: October 30, 2017, 12:53:27 PM
After banning ICOs and cryptocurrency, is the Chinese government now having a change of mind by reestablishing Huobi to start operations again? I read this online somewhere lately.

I think before the closing of all Chinese exchanges, Huobi was the last one because they have a large customer based and I can remember it if was Charlie Lee or the official news agency of the Chinese that says that they will allowed Huobi to be operational as long as they will submit or will get a permit from PBoC, or something to that effect. I think this is what happened if they would allow it to be open again.

Locking your thread isn't going to stop the real questions from being asked!!!
You are trying to ignore some serious issues here!
No roadmap, no whitepaper, no plans, website is so basic and has no information.
Team is anonymous and filled with newbies. You the dev, have 0 experience in crypto!!!

Also why why are you trying to hack me?
You are moderating the thread because you can't explain the questions we bring up!
You have no team, no project, no roadmap and no whitepaper!!!!

First off I'm not familiar with this coins.

However, you may have raised a valid point that if there no roadmap or at least a whitepaper to look at the project and judge by ourselves if it good or not. I haven't encountered a project without the basic whitepaper to begin with. So with no whitepaper how can someone call this project? Well, you guess is as good as mine.
7219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tomorrow, All Chinese Exchangers are going to shutdown on: October 30, 2017, 11:18:38 AM
Nah, I already think that if they are going to allow its exchanges to open again, its not gonna be too soon. Maybe in 2018, but not this year because how will the Chinese looks at the eyes of the investors or even another nation? So if they really going to shut it down so be it. We are now doing just fine without the Chinese influence so I must say that we can continue to march towards the end of the year without them much better.
7220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: future about Bitcoin on: October 30, 2017, 09:19:07 AM
In November, more Chinese Exchange will reopen. What is your opnion about the Bitcoin industry?
The industry of bitcoin will increase because of the reopening of exchangers in china. They will increase the production of bitcoin in terms of mining industry.

Well the reopening of exchanges by the Chinese will not have significant effect in my opinion because they are not irrelevant in the market. Others have already fill the void that they have left. Bitcoin mining is different though, they still dominate that market however, Japan is also making a move, GMO a Japanese company has already put aside millions of dollars to produce its first mining hardware. Its just a matter of time that China will not be relevant anymore to bitcoin.
