Yes to me it is realy money. I can do the same thing with fiat as I can do with bitcoin. The difference is that it's not accepted everywhere, which makes it harder to spend.
Plus bitcoin is a digital currency, you can't see or feel it, that's another difference but other than that, it's exactly the same to me.
Yeah right. You need to withdraw it before spending it in other shops. That is one of the problem. But having your own bank is the good side of it. Plus profit when it goes up. |

I had a little over BTC1,000 then lost most in the MyBitcoin & Mt. Gox incidences. I hold under BTC20 at any time now.

Well when I have btc on my wallet first thing I say "those btc are not for gamle" well as gambler I'm lying to myself so I gamble them till last satoshi so regretting last 10 minutes or less and I'm perfectly fine after that
Some also do that. I use some of my faucet earnings as a gambling starter money. Then if I lose it I wont regret much. It is not that big and it is just from minutes of fauceting |

It is real money for me, but not unless I convert it into fiat. There is no local business here that accept bitcoin as payment.
That is the problem of many people. Better exchange it than looking for shops that accept bitcoin. Maybe in thr future more shops will accept it. Just be positive. |

this is complete crap! I'm Portuguese and that island is basically a joke... the guy thinks he's a king of that place, or something like that, lol! And yes, nobody lives there basically, and there is no commerce... no real places to use Bitcoin, to make it circulate. as discussed on this forum quite a few times, Bitcoin can't really be a national currency but it can be widely adopted... But on places where more than half a dozen people live and where there's commerce  I guess I would rely with these because he is Portugese. He knows a lot better than us. If there are just few people there that is still not counted as a growth for bitcoin. Maybe worst could happen if they use it in different ways. |

I used to have 0.60BTC on around 2 month ago. Which is the highest amount i have.
just have .006 BTC for now,its just some stock for top up my mobile phone,and i can't remember how much bitcoin i have,i'm not sure. if i can ask you,how you get that 0.60 BTC ?are gambler or trader? why you have only like that. People trust into what they see and hold,the fiat has such interest because you have it on hands,bitcoin is just an online coin and one way to pay,one day bitcoins can replace the coins like euro done with all the currencies of each country.But countries will need to allow people to know and to use bitcoin whenever they wanna,and be able to pay with them.
