Well maybe because crypto is a very deep and kind of technical and not all people understands it but I think crypto is gaining popularity everyday its taking one step at a time maybe in a few years crypto will be mainstream just like the internet and all other innovative things.
if this can be done we might see more progress and maybe some commercials will make more people to invest with this currency, right now we are still seeing more negative feedback regarding to this system more big names are showing around and giving their own opinion and even its a bad publicity its bringing more interested people to check what bitcoin/crypto are. |

imagine the money of a state owned by onknown persons and can't collect any taxes on it!
and that can be questioned, whether crypto people around india will be willing to pay taxes and willing to show their identity after this coin was released i personally thinks that it will be hard being supported by people who wanted the concept of bitcoin which will hide their identity in anyhow, i will check this thread and see what will be the progress regarding to this coin. |

news says the 30th china will close all exchanges. I'm not too sure about this. but still looks stable for the market and bitcoin value. I am waiting for what will happen, and what will china pass again.

I live a Philippines and we have our own wallet (Coin.ph), in that way i think that it is good attitude in our country because even wallet they create for their citizen. good thing with that wallet too that they allow people around our country to use the service, there's a lots of things that we can use our web wallet and that's our advantage and that's also attracting more interested investors as they see that bitcoin is not only an investment but can also served as an online wallet to transfer money or pay bills in the comfort of you computer or devices that have access to internet. so I can also say that our country can also be consider as what OP's looking. |

I think you are from India as per your name. It may affect in small percent, however still the Bitcoin shows in rise. You should wait and see what will happen this is not a game its rely on time to time and no one knows the prediction. Countries does not do anything to bitcoin. It is a independent medium which can do payment internationally with the less fees in any transaction with the various cost. You can see the price chart now it is moving forward to touch the next peak value again. If it is been settled 4k USD also since that is good price to worht the bitcoin related projects. we will still feel that for some reason, its still possible that whale will use that issue to make some dip again before the huge pumped to happen, everything will be depend on how the people or the traders and investors will see the impact of this closure, but as a believer I will just hold and treat this as my financial investment so in coming years it will bring me more money. |

The coin-hive was put as testing limiter for bots.
It's not a question of money, these are the Monero we raised with it 0.00430216 in about 12 hours.
There are some news coming up with the WASM PoW and we could use it as limiter, but I also guess BOTS will have enough money for PoW. So probably PoW as limiter won't be a good option as it has been implemented now.
are you going to change that after finding much better one? I'm curious about the test of monero mining from your faucets so basically those who claimed using their computer are now a miner since its a script from the faucets site has been created, are you going to find much suited one in order to generate more captcha rewards? just curious . |

I'm dual mining Ethereum/Sia using Claymore. I've noticed the Sia difficulty has decreased substantially in the last week or two. It's currently ~166TH. I used to get ~3000 Sia/day and am now getting ~4000. Any thoughts about what's going on? Are miners shifting attention somewhere else?
Sia difficulty is being decreased as price surging lower. It is now less profitable to mine sia because the price of sia just went down so more miners are leaving sia mining as they probably doing more money at other coins. I think that sia is going to return back to about 200 sat/sia and then probably the hash rate will be increased and the difficulty as well. With the Ethereum "ice age" there was a massive increase in Ethereum difficulty in the last week... maybe folks who were dual mining Sia w/ Claymore are starting to shift to something else. miner working where beneficial or where there is prospect of good growth coins in the near future they are switching and those who will stay will benefits after the price surged back again, the only concerned is there's no update yet from the team that's why we can't say if this coin still a good coin to mine just switch to NH instead of mining with other pool, its much better to sell my hash rate and just an easy converted to btc. |

The purpose of this system is to give users much less reason to post spam since that will no longer affect their ranking, and perhaps a reason to spend more time on the forum actually reading things.

The safest advice would still be to hold everything in Bitcoin. I used to look and read about the different altcoins that were supposed to be the "Bitcoin Killer" but none of them came close to Bitcoin's adoption and community support. If you are a newbie and do not know what to do, buy Bitcoin and never let it go.
for now its better to stick with btc since alts are moving down every time btc fell i'm sure the swing with btc trading would be much better than trying to find quality coin for a while unless you knew someone from the dev team and give you insiders movement so you can have some edge with current project. |

actually the time buy Alts is optional for many trader on exchange some of them bought when some lose to buying in first Alts show in market and wait for increase Alts price

It's not necessary to have an association, I understand the desire to have a uniform response or public relation of some sort but the community should be free of being funneled into one form of thought process. The community we have now is strong and resilient as it is so we just need to wait the storm clears and improve and develop Bitcoin further.

Feels great! It's about time the world is starting to take notice. I just wish I had a bigger position already in some of these coins, especially the Big 4!  First it was the programmers and traders, then the investors, entrepreneurs, and now celebrities and politicians are joining in. The fun is just starting to begin. I feel excited as Bitcoin is slowly getting more and more recognition. I'm surprised to see some ads all over social media. Just recently, some blogs and news have taken interest in reporting about blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. There is an upwards trend for the publicity of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Despite not having a bigger position, the thought that we have already invested in Bitcoin back when it is not yet mainstream. Most people are still just being introduced and getting to know about it now while I have already some BTC in my wallet. things is really getting interesting nowadays, as we seen that more and more people around social media place already been got curious about this bitcoin industry, with that even those who previously just engaged with crypto also sharing their knowledge and attract more people inside, we will be more financially established if we already save bitcoin since the first time we knew it. |
