Try to research in Google about what is the best altcoins nowadays or you can find out in cointelegraph or in coinmarketcap in order to find out what is the best altcoins nowadays.

It depends on what kind of trading you're planning on doing. You use the term "trading" so I'll assume you meant daytrading or short-term trading. There are no specific coins that are "good to trade" since almost every single coin available is highly volatile. What should you do? Check their price charts out using your favorite cryptocurrency exchange (I personally prefer Bittrex), then decide on what price point you're going to buy that coin and what price point you're going to sell it at.

If you're planning on long term holding or investing, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. We are talking about investing money here. Don't make your decisions on other people's thoughts and opinions. If you don't like reading and doing research, then trading and investing is obviously not for you.

Buy one that has been stable over quite a time. Also, buy the dip - meaning get a coin that can't get much lower or has been on the same price since weeks.

No one will have the courage to tell you to buy this or that token because as you know the price of alts are unpredictable. Even those who are good with analyzing charts and those candle sticks will just tell you whats the current status but they will not give you an assurance that if you but that alts or token you are a sure winner specially with the whales out there playing with their coins. Do your own research, if you cant, don't trade, you'll end up broke.

for trading all the coins are viable options!

as long as something is listed on an exchange and you can buy and sell it, it is a good option for trading. when they move up and down it makes them even better options for trading.
the question is when you should buy and when you should sell each of them. the coin itself doesn't matter for trading. i have traded coins that their names were never heard and they are long dead now but the profit i made from them are still alive.

try not to buy directly, at least do some analysis for some coins that have high trading volume then you note the movement of each coin that you analyze. tie there you can find the best coin to trade. because in general all coins have their respective advantages.

yeah exactly i think the best way right now is to buy bitcoin because there is expected rise in price in coming days and it is the safest investment right now but i also prefer some of the coin which are much lower right now and will rise with the rise of bitcoin. neo and litecoin is also good investment right now and coin like ark and nexus are good too along with comodo.

for now its better to stick with btc since alts are moving down every time btc fell i'm sure the swing with btc trading would be much better than
trying to find quality coin for a while unless you knew someone from the dev team and give you insiders movement so you can have some edge

No one can beat bitcoins as a good coin to trade on but you can add ethereum,Ptoy and XEM to trade with. but if you are a risk take then try to reach for those undervalued coin like trackr,civic,cvcoin and populous.

But since you are a newbie maybe the first thing you should do is to widen your knowledge and experience on tradings.

token and coins is different. i assume your mean is coins. you can register with bittrex or poloniex. but you need to have bitcoin first to start trading then after you have bitcoin, you need to search coins which could help you to make profit. it is not easy because you need to analyze each of coins, but my suggestion is you can search for top 10 coins in coinmarketcap so your option is not too large. from that top 10 coins, you need to analyze each coins so you can find the coin and you can start to buy the coins.

I'm afraid it will be really hard for you to start alt coins teading if you're new to them and don't know anything about them, as even people that trade for months now still lose their money because of simple mistakes... I think you should google about specific coins you want to trade and just read abaout them, once you think that you know enough about them you can start trading.

Now Monero, Zcash seems growing faster than any altcoins. If you wish to try in altcoin exchanges you can try any one of these coin. Even in mining also monero is emerging coin than other coins.
For trading you need to start bitcoin itself that is my suggestion but investment compared to altcoin, bitcoin needs little more fund to start trading but profit and growth is more than alts.

It depends what type of trading you are interested in, personally I day trade and no coin will ever be good and no coin bad, you have to look at all coins and look for certain characteristics such as adequate volume and suitable margins.

you go and create an account inside poloniex or bittrex try buying small portion of your actual capital of any coins which have some good volumes and moving, remember that risk is always there when you are starting, you can buy eth or neo if you have good start up or xem or xrp if you are limited then hold for some
days never sell when you are at loss.
