7241  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: July 09, 2017, 10:04:04 AM
Mayby not today - we are blind now. What is needed is other data such as number of new users (or wallets) over time and average investment size over time. one thing is certain, the macro global growth trend is different now with growth in China, and entrance of Japan and South Korea. And what if hedge funds and/or other institutional money enters? Lots of variables which I think limits how much we should weight these historical graphs in an as yet quite young market.
I am sure I have my eyes wide open and I am happy to find people's positive prediction about bitcoin.
The future is really bright and I bet on that with my investment, I will hold my bitcoins and other altcoins for future
because the success is more sweater when the demand is getting bigger.

Bigger demand which is expected in the future means better price, and better price means profit for investors.
that is right i am also sure that bitcoin has a very bright future. the community of bitcoin is increasing from time to time because of the interest of the people, which is making the future of bitcoin more bright.

Well with more people's interests, it also more susceptible to hacking and crashing and though i agree with both of you that btc's future seems bright indeed along with crypto in general, i'm not assuring myself that it's going to be like this always. I'll make sure tonhave a backup in case something unwanted happens.
7242  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: July 09, 2017, 09:47:08 AM
Why people come to bitcoin and crypto-currencies? the main target of all of them is to follow the story of this guys who invested in Bitcoin several years ago and now they are reach, but I think this train was gone.
This is not my target to become rich with crypto-currencies, I would like to have like 500$ monthly from all this and I would be happy  Cheesy

Well I beg to differ , maybe you refused to realize the train was waiting for others recently and you couldn't see because compare just the lift in prices right from the beginning of the year until now or perhaps from last October and you'd realize anyone who joined then has gained quite a lot because that's the period where it really soared in value and I wouldn't be surprised if people join and invest today they might stand a chance of maybe tripling their investments even after August 1, so you can decide to wait for us at the train station and we will be back with the good news.

Though i agree that what happened to people who gambled with keeping their btcs years ago and got rich today may happen again, i think cryptocurrencies in general still can make anyone rich. It's not all about btc you see. There was once a time when btc was like other altcoins today that we're all overlooking. Perhaps one of these can be like bitcoin in a couple of years as well.
7243  Economy / Economics / Re: When to buy and sell bitcoin on: July 09, 2017, 09:39:00 AM
a great time to buy is when the prise is decreasing and the best time to sell is when its prise starts to increase

I beg to differ, the right time to buy will be when it has decreased and has reached a saturation point where it might not decrease further but rather looking to increase and the best time to sell is when it has increased considerably and has made a slight decline.

Well we wouldn't know exactly when that would be would we? Although there would be a lot of indications if you look at a coin's history in the charts. Some follow a pattern of pumps and dumps so in a way we'll have an idea of when the right time for entrance would be. As for the selling, as long as you're feeling good about your earnings, i think thats ok. Just make sure you never sell without profits.
7244  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: July 09, 2017, 09:34:12 AM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas
Investing in bitcoins does not bring a steady income; if you have a steady income, you can invest in bitcoin that can help you earn a large income depending on the amount of bitcoin you invest.

Well, earning a steady income is different than investment, especially invest on bitcoin that have unstable price. Open a shop in real life using bitcoin as the payment is a good one actually, but you need to encourage people to use bitcoin in your area first. If you can do that, i'm sure you can earn steady income with bitcoin because you don't have any competitor in your area.
That's really a big task, because very few localities around the world has got large number of people who were aware about bitcoin and other digital currencies. Even there are failure with big giants, one such is Expedia who started accepting bitcoin and in a short stopped the service which is just because they haven't got profit as they calculated.

Well mining btc would fit your descrption there dude as after you've met all requirements for a mining system, you should  pretty well have passive income all the way. Well aside from maintenance, which isn't really that much of a hassle.
7245  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do Love really exist ? on: July 07, 2017, 05:13:11 PM
Im pretty sure love is as real as anything in this world. You don't really have to look far and you'll see proof of how love affects our everyday lives. It's nit only about romantic love, but showing kindness is also sharing love to others. We function as humans because of love.
7246  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When did the 4th of July become so commercialized ? on: July 07, 2017, 04:47:44 PM
Yes it's similar here in Europe. I remember we used to visit my grandparents grave on all saint's day, and recently they started to sell popcorn, sausages, beer and similar things near every graveyard. It became a feast and a way to make money. Every holiday is now a money making machine.
Wow, I don't it's good place to sell these products near graveyard. We should to show respect to dead people, not to make business. In my country people near graveyards only swlling flowers, candles and other graveyard stuff.

These stuffs are part of celebrations and it makes the occassion a bit more festive so i don't really think there's anything wrong. Independence should be celebrated and though i understand that some would feel gloomy considering the price our forefathers paid for this independence, we must celebrate it by enjoying what they gave us and remembering them.
7247  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do You Think The War in Philippines. on: July 07, 2017, 04:19:55 PM
Well not really.  This Maute group just do all these killings and wanted to be acknowledged as an ally to the terrorist group ISIS.  But I do not mind because they are going to be wiped out any moment.  The parents of these Maute brothers, the leader of this group were already jailed.  Even some of their members were killed.  It seems that the Philippines will not stop until all the members were alive.  Salute for the President of the Philippines.

This may sound a bit harsh, but even if the Maute leadership is exterminated it is not going to resolve the issue. As long as there are Muslims in Mindanao, such incidents will repeat. Especially nowadays, with ISIS expanding far beyond their Arab-speaking core region.

"As long as there are muslims in mindanao, such incidents will repeat"Huh Are you high dude? Ever since there have been muslims in mindanao way before everyone of us even was here. And muslims will always be in mindanao. And it's not an issue with any of them as well. These terrorists are way beyond religion.
7248  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Burger King to Accept ... on: July 05, 2017, 02:49:47 PM
I don't this would be a good idea yet. There would be things to consider especially for a bug business like bk when accepting btc as payment. Btc price varies and fluctuates so that means that the prices of the products would sway with btc price. Then there's the transaction time where it's not always that fast. So i don't really think its plausible at the momemt
7249  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think of North Korea? on: July 05, 2017, 01:49:58 PM
Well it's country led by a lunatic who pretty much doesn't know how to put his mouth where his money is. Kim is a crazy guy who may cause a world wat because of his foolish antics. The scary thing is that he he has nuclear access and has close ties to china. Hopefully he gets put in his place soon before he does something that can affect all of us
7250  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: July 05, 2017, 11:16:07 AM
Rape is a severe crime that needs the harshest punishment. It doesn't only wrecks a woman's body but also her spirit and it will be with her for the rest of her life. It should be up there with other heinous crimes and must be meted with the capital punishment that a country allows
7251  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: July 05, 2017, 11:05:26 AM
Gambling in my opinion can be done once a week, not too often because it can be addictive, if there is a football game I usually gamble, especially if there is a world cup  Smiley

Casually gambling in an occasional manner may be good but the seeds of greed are always present in every human - because you are a human. If you can control it its good but its actually an illusion since we often tend to cover our addictions with false control. One may not even realize when they get addicted to something unless it has some drastic after effects. Hence one should carefully control their mindset.

Well you can't really remove the greed factor when it comes to gambling. Especially if you've managed to get a string of goos rolls and hands. And if you're someone whose decisions are easily swayed by things like this, you're more likely to succumb to greed and, in the long run, addiction. Good thing though that's not the case for me as i don't look at gambling with fondness. Not now that i've gotten older that is.
7252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: July 05, 2017, 11:00:06 AM
I don't go to land based casinos any more.
I find somehow much better to play online, in my opinion house edge is much lower in gambling sites. House edge in real casino can go up to 20% and games are not provably fair.

When you don't want to get hassle, you will be better to play online with casino's and use crypto currency or bitcoin in specific. That's the disadvantage of real casino's but the service is quite good and different for playing online. But if you are a saver while gambling and you don't want to lose a lot, go with online.

That is the revolution of gambling. Online gambling will revolutionize gambling forever, people hasn't just realized it yet but it will catch on and the gambling world will have to share a big chunk of the pie as more and more online gambling sites open and gain popularity. Time is changing and we all have to keep up with the times. So does gambling.

I believe soon they are going to see the potential of online gambling. This is going to catch their very own eyes as it is going to make them favorable and convenient upon playing and using online gambling.
The future of gambling is online like everything else, I agree with you guys. There will come a time that everything will be online and traditional gambling will be replaced by online casinos and other gambling sites. Change is constant and this applies to even old concepts such as gambling. Everything need to adopt to the generation it is in and right now the millennial generation is all online.

Yes everything will be online, transactions, registration and as in everything and as well as gambling. Though the experience in land based casino's are different from the online ones. A lot of upgrades will be changed in the future and that's because of the fast upgrade in technology and everything will be affected with it.

Yes in future everything will be converted from physical to online, but don't think that land based casino will convert into the only online casino. Now already many countries become digitalised but still they have many land based casinos in the there country. That means the rich people prefer only land based casinos they don't like to waste time in online. They expect real experience in land casinos.

Yeah a lot of people still prefer phyaically going to these online casinos and more of these are actually upgrading. It's a different experience gping to luxury canisnos even having their own hotels and resorts and if you're not the type of person who just prefers to be at home staring and playing with your computer, goong to these casinos are more fun.
7253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you login to a gambling site with Twitter, Google or Facebook Id? on: July 05, 2017, 10:47:41 AM
Do you think sites should offer the option of login via social media profile as well as the normal username/password?
Yes, i think they should offer this, it would make things much easier and we could avoid unnecessary signing up on new sites just to check them. It is not so damn hard to create few accounts on facebook and use them for gambling log in if such exists on gambling sites. Just make sure to separate your private facebook account from your "business" one.

Yeah you're right. You can make dummy accounts for such purposes and no need to disclose any personal information that can compromise your security. And i don't think there are that many gambling sites that would require logging in with social media accounts anyways but if a site you really prefer does this, then just make a dummy account
7254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: July 05, 2017, 10:44:03 AM
Off a big win, I might try to start some type of business.

Nothing fancy or special. Just something to keep me busy and keep me moving so I don't turn into a sloth.

Do you plan it to be in a bitcoin receiving business or just a start up near to your place? I've been also wandering if I can have my very own business not that big, I want to start it small and be on hands with it. As there is no person in this world wants to stay employed and being shouted by their boss even there's nothing wrong.

Right. If you look at the long term i agree. Though i doubt we can achieve this through gambling winnings. If you want a business then you have to avoid making monetary risks and save money from your salary. Most people who dream of a better future with the results of gambling ends up not achieving anyhing at all.
7255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: July 05, 2017, 10:41:06 AM
That's because a gambling gives curiosity to win high and keep trying to find winning opportunities. Yes though often suffered defeat. But because the nama of gambling, it's will always be tried again and again. Let alone already opium on gambling. It's hard to stop, winning loses will not be so cared for.

I agree. The process of gambling itself and the enoyment one gets from it is mainly the reason why a lot of people lose their minds over it. Because if you think about it logically, losing money once or twice should be reason enough already to think about quitting but a lotnof people can't or simply won't. They're drawn to gambling like they depend on it for their sanity
7256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: July 05, 2017, 10:25:19 AM
Gambling have no link with superstitious. But i see a lot of people are superstitious usually when they start betting, because they believe on something unique and different, but behind the scene nothing is here except luck. I believe only luck, it is working and we win everything including gambling because of luck.
For the belief, the gamblers are going to have, you cannot expect any link. But honestly gamblers are trying to link these two for some reasons.
Some gamblers find it useful for profit making some rest of gamblers never believe into any meaningless activities.

People who believe in luck are usually those that are superstitious. Luck is somethig that you can't control and believing in some superstitious ritual or charm makes these people think that their lucks can be affected by it. Doesn't work for analytical thinking but a lot of people do this
7257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: July 05, 2017, 10:18:04 AM
Most of the time the worst mistake with gambling is misunderstanding all about the facts of earning through gambling. Users at the beginning felt that with bitcoin can make a good earning and spend big and only after experiencing huge loss will realize what gambling is all about.

I don't see this as the worst mistake in gambling, what's worst?

When you have a lot of profit on this day and you still didn't managed to take care of your money.

And you keep on playing because of greediness.
i think what he means is about how to expect could earn money through gambling itself has been a mistake .
so you just need to not do that , then you have avoided the mistake .
i a little bit agree with it , but it wasn't a technical mistakes just like what other people told.
It seems to me that the very occupation of gambling can only be an increase in bringing money, but not earnings. The main thing is not to confuse these concepts.

The points you've all raised are pretty much the same. Bottomline is if you're expecting to gain essy money from.gambling, you're already making a big mistake. Earnings come in random most of the time and adventurous people with their money are the ones who often make this mistake in thinking hat gambling would be a blessing to them
7258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: July 05, 2017, 10:01:07 AM
Watch this pre-fight analysis of May vs Mac by Coach Zahabi.  It's pretty good cos and it's unbiased and he tries to see each fighters advantages and weaknesses.  It was cut short tho, but part two is coming soon since it reached a thousand likes.

FYI, Zahabi is GSP's coach in MMA.

Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor Pre-Fight Analysis - Coach Zahabi
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOQ19BM5vfk

As much as I love Mcgregor in UFC, boxing is really without a doubt Floyd's playground and he would dominate Mcgregor with his frustrating defense. From the trainjng videos, both boxers have really put in the work but the speed and agility favors Floyd in ways that are much more needed in the close confines of the boxing rings where grapples and sumbmissions are rendered useless.

Indeed. Even if we say that they're both skilled and prepared, hell even if connor is more skilled than floyd, it's a really a big thing that this is going to be fought in a boxing match. Experience matters a whole lot and i don't see mcgregor's mma experience helping him with boxing rules. Floyd's got this in the bag.
7259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When did you start gambling? (Because of BCT Promotion?) on: July 05, 2017, 09:42:10 AM
I started gambling because of all the signatures here they work really well and I've found all sorts of cool casinos and altcoins because if the signatures. I'm pretty sure most people do that as well. I click the new signatures I never seen before. If I like the site it takes me too maybe I will play. At least I will test the site.
Not in my case, I started gambling because I found bitcoin as the best tool to do it, before knowing bitcoin or any other crypto currencies I am already a gambler and I am happy that by using bitcoin life of a gambler would be fun. As I stay in this forum I learned a lot of things that can give me additional income and I am lucky I have it now already, but it all started because of my passion in gambling.

Well i started gambling before i've learned about what btc is but i agree that these signature campaigns have been a very good promotional tool for gambling sites. Bitcoin's features also made it appealing to a lot of online gamblers and it's not impossible that many people got into fambling because of these promotions
7260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: July 04, 2017, 05:02:20 PM
I dont usually set a specific time when i gamble. I just feel like i want to spend some time playing but usually since i do have a work now it is on weekend evening when im at hime alone
but i have a specific time for gambling. i mostly play gambling in late evening time,  in fact i am so much addicted that when it become my gambling then  i cannot manage to spend single minute in any other activity and try to go to casino, or at least play it online.

That's a very dangerous road you're treading there dude. That addiction may lead to things much worse that just craving for gambling every day. It usually starts with that small time that you allot for gambling then it grows to require more of your time until you crave for it most of the time everyday.
