7261  Other / Meta / Re: Quick account question of access on: October 09, 2019, 12:40:08 PM
Hey, don't know who to ask so it is here.

Many years ago I had an account here. Would love to retrieve it if possible.

Staff: can any of you guys do an email search for an account associated with my old email address?

I just can't remember my old username

Thanks in advance
It is the same as finding something but you don't know any information about it. You don't know your account name, email address and possibly the BTC address.

Anyway, there will be someone who will help you but you need to remember your username or even just the email address in order for them to help you Wink Good luck in retrieving your account.
7262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exacly what is the Reason? on: October 09, 2019, 12:33:49 PM
Exacly what is the Reason bull run have not started yet?

There is already good things happening Bakkt, Binance, bitmex large volumes and so...
Bakkt is purely hype and when they launched, it immediately went down and it is expected already. Large Volumes on centralized exchanges can be manipulated easily and volumes can be faked on that exchanges.

Still that all its not enough?
Its obvious that it is not. What is the reason?? No good news that can make Bitcoin's price go parabolic again.
7263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: October 09, 2019, 12:25:18 PM
This is where online gambling steps up. I don't know how crowded casinos are but I saw in some of the movies with a scene in a casino and it is crowded. Now I know that it is really a crowded place Cheesy.

Is it worth to play? or the crowd and the noise around you will just add to your stress?
Will you play on a crowded casinos? or just play online?
If you are a new in casinos and you are not adopt with the environment, you will feel more stressed especially with that number of noisy people around you. I'm not a gambler addict but if that is how casinos are in my place, I will not go because I don't want to go to a place with man people and I'd rather gamble online than going to a crowded casino Cheesy.
7264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I access my BTC and other wallets on Public Internet Cafe on: October 09, 2019, 07:43:25 AM
Well, if you are the only one in your place who knows cryptocurrency then no one will bother to access your wallets and your Bitcoin but nevertheless what you did is wrong and not required to do.

Keyloggers are very popular to some internet cafes and it is being installed by the owners. I'm not a techy guy when it comes to these but accessing your wallets in a public internet cafe isn't recommended because it can lead to fund being stole.
7265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 09, 2019, 07:13:30 AM
Can we truly have a fully decentralized system? For example, we control our own money, properties, internet etc. If we can, how can we achieve this and what obstacles can we face? I want to control my money and I don't want my government to control what I see on the internet. There are ways of overcoming some of these but the whole internet is coming from the ISPs. We may have a satellite(Elon Musk) for internet which makes the decentralization easier for us.
If the government will allow it then it can be but lets face the reality. Most of the governments are corrupt and that is the truth and they want to use their power to control everything in their country and fiat currency is one of them.

Having a fully decentralized system globally isn't possible for me but having a decentralized currency system like Bitcoin aside from our centralized currency system which is the fiat is possible.

Now this is what you called "Lack of Financial Management".

I wish all the winners in gambling can learn how to manage their money if they win. This is just one of the stories of people who won in gambling but used all of it in the wrong way. This is a lesson from him but I don't think that it will happen to him again that he will win that huge amount of money. If he knows how to spend his money then he can be sleeping all the time with his money beside him but that wasn't the case.

He is a garbage man and most of the time these are the people who doesn't have any learning when it comes to handling money. I'm not saying all but most of them.
7267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Fiat currencies still exist or be replaced by Crypto Currencies? on: October 09, 2019, 07:05:04 AM
In some countries like the first world countries, digital money is starting to rise already but still there are still some countries that prefer to use fiat currencies when they buy instead of buying it thru digital money.

Fiat currencies exist for a long time already and that is the currency we are using globally. In the future maybe we can see more countries using digital money but there are some countries who doesn't have any access to internet or to any of these things that can help them send their money thru digital process. Maybe there is a chance that we will be shifted from fiat currency to cryptocurrency but for me it will be better if these 2 will co-exist as a way of payments.
7268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Governor's Cup betting and discussion on: October 09, 2019, 06:52:14 AM

Yeah this is what I'm talking about, it's too big. But, if the Commissioner trying to protect the reputation of the PBA, he is losing the money of the PBA. Many Filipino dislikes Calvin but many people likes him.

We can also consider the money factor that's why I'm confident that this punishment of indefinite suspension will be over soon.
Abueva is my top 10 players in the PBA actually, and he proved he is a star player since he also played for the Gilas Pilipinas which during his time they were able to compete really well, and Abueva is not afraid of a bigger man in the international competition.

he is really important both in PBA and in the Gilas Team.
I also like him and I like how he plays in the court. He is called "The Beast" for a reason Cheesy.

One thing that I don't like to him is his attitudes inside the court. Yes he is popular not only because he is a star player but his attitudes inside the court but sometimes he can't control it and some of the players are counter reacting with his attitudes like what happened to him which causes him the suspension. I agree that he is a very important player in both PBA and Gilas but I hope that his attitudes will change or at least lessen when he comes back again.
7269  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Off-Topics] Pilipinas on: October 09, 2019, 06:44:09 AM
Permission to post OP Smiley
Since this is an off topic and everything is fine to post. I would like to share my thread that I've created few months ago but unfortunately get deleted Sad. Its just an advice for all people here and just a bit of a trivia. Warning it is a long post Cheesy. Its fine if it will be deleted too at least I tried to share Wink

I know you came to this thread because I said to my channel a way to get rich right?? Well, read until the end of it and you will see how.

Actually, there are 2 ways to become rich. Learn to Gamble and Invest in HYIP's Cheesy. Kidding

I don't know where to start in this topic but Hmmmmmm. Where can I start?? Cheesy

Anyway, recently I started reading the book of Robert Kiyosaki which is Rich Dad, Poor Dad. I haven't finished yet reading the whole book (2 Chapters done out of 6) but in those 2 chapters, I have learned something that I didn't know until I started to read it. This is not related to crypto but since crypto is money and financial literacy is very important, I will share some facts in the world of money.

Rich People don't work for money - Owner of McDonald, Jollibee. SM and Robinson. Did you saw them cleaning or working on their own company?? No because they have employees to do their job.

I hate to say this but we have a mindset of working for others. Believe it or not, this is one of the reason why most of us stay in the poor or middle class. We are working for the others so that they can become rich and us?? Nahhh at least I can eat 3 times a day and save a bit that is fine. That is how most of us think which is a bad thing. The increase in income will be going to the entrepreneurs, businessmen and investors and not in the employees.

Savers are Losers - This is one of the things I learned as I read the book. I will share a bit of my experience regarding money. To be honest, I don't store my money in the banks and I don't have a bank account. I only have a savings account so that if I need money, I can withdraw it thru bank and for me that is the sole purpose of banks - for withdrawal purposes.

Maybe some will disagree with me but if you will store your money in the banks for a long run you will regret it. I have asked my family, relatives and other people this "If you store 10000 PHP in your account, how many will it be in 1 year?? 3 years?? 5 years??. Many will say it will increase but how much is the annual interest in banks? Less than a percent??

Inflation will make your money worthless and in our country, prices of different things are becoming expensive. The value of our money is slowly withering. I have watched a video documentary about money on Youtube and on average, the value of money is decreasing by ~2% per year. If you are saving your 1 Million PHP in the banks, maybe in 5 years the value of that will be at around 500-600k already. How? Prices of different necessities are slowly increasing. Oil has increased and since it increase, so is the fare. The foods are becoming expensive already and in the long run, the value of our money will decrease because of inflation.

Now the best part. I just shared some of my thoughts on that 2 things but that helped me changed my mindset too. Now the question is how to become rich?? I will say it now. If you want to become rich, you must need to know the difference of assets and liabilities and invest your money to buy some assets.

What is an asset?? It gives money in your pocket. What is a liability?? It takes money out of your pocket. Simple accounting right. I'm not an accounting graduate and didn't took accounting in college but to be honest, many people doesn't know the difference of the 2.

I have read in the book that some people are considering their home as their asset which is very wrong. I explain. You're home can only be an asset if you will use it as an apartment or dormitories or for renting. If not then it will be a liability because you will pay maintenance for it, mortgage etc. It takes money out of your pocket and not putting in your pocket.

Now what are different kinds of assets. In our country the most popular are stocks and bonds. I'm not familiar with mutual funds. We can become rich if we invest our money in assets and not storing it in banks. One reason is that statistically speaking, the value of stocks in our country is slowly increasing. One trivia is the stocks of Jollibee. When they launched their IPO in 1993, the price of their stocks per one piece is 9/share. Now 2019, the all time high of Jollibee stocks is 328/share. Imagine it Wink. If you choose to store your money in banks and left it there, it will not grow that much but if you invested it in stocks it will grow.

Well, we know that every investment has a risk already and that is why we must learn how to invest in different assets in a perfect time. So that is one way to become rich. Know the difference between asset and liabilities and invest only on assets.

Another reason that I know is already obvious. Build your own business. Nothing to explain I think regarding this because we know that every rich man in our country have their own business already. One fact. No employee has became rich because they are working for others. The rich people don't work for money because they let their money work for them. Passive income Wink.

Anyway, that is just my thoughts on how to become rich. I just shared what I have read in the book. It is not guaranteed that you will became rich if you do this. You need patience, learn to take risk, learn to stand up after failures, knowledge and discipline before achieving it.  I have invested in stocks already but only a small amount but since I see stocks as a way to earn profit in the long run, I keep investing and investing on it monthly so that in the future, I have money to use to build my own business.

Lets make this a discussion so that many of our countrymen will become rich in the future. Lets share some of our opinions so that many will have an idea to how to become a rich men Wink. Negative comments are open if I have said something bad.

Who are happy right now that Ben Simmons finally hit his first three point shot in his NBA Career?? I'm not a fan of 76ers but I'm just happy with this milestone. Lots of memes on the twitter and lots of news in the internet. Your opinions?? Here are some links to read:

7271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think majority of the people heard or read Bitcoin one time or another on: October 08, 2019, 07:07:57 AM
Bitcoin has come along way we have seen massive adoption and so many videos, news, and articles about websites and many people have invested and are now using Bitcoin do you think after ten years majority of people around the world have heard or read Bitcoin one time or another?
In 10 years??? Hmmmmm probably not. Can I ask what is the approximate percentage of the number of people so that you can say it as "majority"??

I assume half of the people around the world. That is around 4 Billion people already (assumed that the total global population at that time is 8 Billion), I don't think that they will read it or heard it. Some countries doesn't have access to the internet especially the remote areas and those who have access in the internet probably wont spent a minute about it.
7272  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: October 08, 2019, 07:04:40 AM
I'm sorry if this is off topic but I joined Cryptotalk and it seems there should be a lot of people that should be ban on that forum it's all messed up and the number of participants is growing too, they are not attracting good posters and moderators, so many copy paste post from Bitcointalk.
And that is what the campaign manager is doing alongside with other members who are helping him like @Veleor Smiley.

To be honest, I don't see any good reason why they are creating a forum like Bitcointalk. Maybe to compete with it and hoping that they can get some users here. There are some who are good posters who joined the cryptotalk campaign already. Its just there are more banned participants than those who are not banned.

Thanks for sharing it. Now I don't want to watch the video since you already shared the whole content of it here Wink.

I laughed a bit at your post (not a laugh of negativity) but don't get me wrong because what you are saying is true. Its just the OP doesn't know what he is saying. Yes he mention some of the ways that is very common but he can't do it himself because....... he is a lazy stupid user probably.

To the OP, if you want to gain more views on your video at least make more effort out of it. Most of what you shared are common already. We can just go to the post that Lauda created regarding how to earn Bitcoins. Anyway, nice try OP Smiley

~snip
ICO's are shit.
IEO's are more stupid shit because it is being manipulated by centralized exchanges like Binance. See the price movement of  those who conducted their IEO's on Binance right now.
Altcoins??? Some altcoins are profitable in the long term but most of them are just trash coins created because of money.
7274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: October 08, 2019, 06:39:04 AM
There is no weird about people playing lottery because that gambling makes them enjoying and happy, all of us have their own place in gambling and they choose lottery so let us respect that and even in any form of gambling that you’ve mentioned about borrowing from companions happening not only in lottery but in all gambling games
Yep I understand them. Its just I feel weird about it and maybe it is just me who are feeling it but I respect the gamblers who are happy when they are gambling in lottery Smiley. As you said lets respect them and let them be.

~snip
No for me buying lottery is not like gambling because gambling is something else and buying ticket is something else. We can rely on luck only 50 percent in gambling but will have you rely on luck totally if we want to earn from lottery one more thing is true that in lottery we enjoy and in gambling as well people enjoys.
Lottery is considered as a gambling game. The definition of gambling which is "the activity or practice of playing at a game of chance for money or other stakes. and another one that is based on google is "play games of chance for money; bet"

If you will analyze it, gambling is playing a game of chance for money. You will gamble your money to have more money. That is lottery right?? Lottery = Gambling in short because you are betting, gambling for the sake of money.

7275  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 08, 2019, 06:22:57 AM
Here are the two scenarios that may happen or not base on this thread that I always read. Link

Scenario 1: We range in the area delimited above then break it up, stabilize then we will look for the 9600$ zone aka our old symmetrical triangle support which would then become a potentially important resistance.

Scenario 2: We range in the area delimited above and then break it down, direct fall in my “ideal rebound” area for the recovery of the bull market. And in addition to that, we are closing the gap in the futures market that I presented to you in my previous analysis.

Base on the thread I posted, the ideal consolidation zone is at around $7200 and also the MACD in the daily time frame is slowly crossing but there is no confirmation yet at thie moment.

SHARE KO LANG!!!! Cheesy

This campaign still on, waiting for spot open up
I'm not criticizing you because we are all free to apply if there is a open slot in this campaign. However base on your posts, most of it are on the Off-topic, local and services and you are posting at around 7-11 posts per month and most of them are one line posts.

Don't get me wrong bud but if you want to be accepted here, maybe you should step up in how you post because for sure Yahoo doesn't accept one liner posters Smiley.
7277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: October 08, 2019, 05:58:30 AM

I watched that crazy Boston Celtics fans cheer up when Tacko Fall enter the court on his first professional pre-season NBA game. Not just that, when he takes the ball for the first time for an offensive low-post play, fans gone wild again cheering for him.

For this height at 7 ft 6, we all know that these players will end up slow even at a young age. I'm impressed with this tall guy as he's not showing signs that he might become slower soon. I just hope his body will remain as it is for several seasons to come. This guy really worked hard on his NBA dream.
I watched the replay and when Fall went into the court who is the tallest of the Celtics roster, they also put in their smallest player on their roster which has a height of only 5 ft 11 in Cheesy. A 7 ft 6 in and a 5 ft 11 in put into the court at the same time Cheesy.

I have watched his highlights and he is like a huge Eiffel Tower on the paint. He only jumps a bit and he can dunk it already. I expect that he will do what Boban did too last season when he dunked Cheesy. He is also fast compare to the other big guys and he is very intimidating. If he will continues to play like this, he will remain on the Celtics because he has only a 1 year contract at this moment.
7278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Governor's Cup betting and discussion on: October 08, 2019, 05:52:21 AM
What he really did is very shameful not only to his team but to the association too. Yes he is a very big asset to the Phoenix but if he continues to play how he is playing then he will receive multiple suspension from the commissioner. What he did is what he deserves. A clothesline to an import?? It is an unprofessional move coming from him.

The commissioner gave him permission already to attend the practice with his team but to play this season? I don't think so. More probably in the next season which is the All Filipino cup.
It's shameful yes but, isn't it that Terence Jones danced also to tease him? What more is that Terence Jones received even more shame from Arwind Santos right? Arwind teased him like a monkey and that is racism. That's the even bigger case.
Yep I know that Jones danced with him and probably to tease him and not just that, maybe that is his way to at least lessen what he is feeling at that time and after Jones danced Abueva did it too and he also danced in the scores table which is for me an unprofessional move.

Regarding what Santos did to Jones, yes that is more unprofessional move coming from him who is in the league for more than a decade already but he is also punished but not the same as Abueva received. Only a huge fine (Like 250,000 PHP I think) and a community service. I believe that he isn't intentional to do that. Yes he did that because of mind games like he said in an interview but he is also punished and that's it.

I used to be a polite, kind and a joyful person in real life but here I can say that I'm a polite and a behave person too although there are times that I say bad things to other people, it is just around 1/100 of my posts Cheesy.

I know that there are respectable people here and I consider them as the good people here (even some don't) and there are some who are against them. I want to be on the good side and want to share my opinions sometimes but still I'm not that fluent in English like most people here.

Anyway, what I am in real life will be the same here. I don't want to be a person who is good right now but after few hours will become bad. I'm not good at technical aspects of crypto like the other members here so what I can contribute here at least is being a polite, kind and a behave user. Cheesy
