36 min Juve-Ajax 1-1 close to penalties but will be more goals i guess
United is off Messi two goals in 3 min

It's half time, Barcelona was very close to scoring a 3 goal, it's definitely over for Man Utd, and Juventus vs Ajax is still a very tensed game deadlocked at 1 - 1 at halftime, all things still possible in that match.
7262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 16, 2019, 07:15:18 PM
VAR to the rescue for Man Utd, although it's was the wrong call after the VAR review... Game on nil nil!

Goal!!!!! Lionel Messi 1 - 0

The line up has been released, Barcelona starting lineup remain unchanged from the first leg except for Sergi Roberto who comes in to replace Nelson Semedo, Man Utd on the other have made numerous changes to their starting line up.
7264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 16, 2019, 08:03:19 AM
ManC will fight Spurs twice at UCL and EPL This week, both teams must continue to focus on both competitions. and I'm sure ManC and Spurs really want a win from both competition. after those match ManC had been waiting for the manchester Derby (EPL). if in those three matches ManC failed to pick full points I am sure they will fail in both UCL and EPL competitions.

I think they cannot do the quadruple and agree with you. They will have to sacrifice something. If they get knocked out of Champions League this week, then sure, FA Cup and Premier League is theirs, they have a full squad. But believe me, if they reach the semifinals, they will probably meet Juventus so they will do everything they can to progress to their first ever final, and this knowing Pep might cause them to wobble in EPL.

But if they want to pick up max points and win EPL, they will sacrifice CL. Not because they want to, but because they can't do it.

I'm not sure I quite agree with you on this, If Man City make it the next round, they don't need to sacrifice one trophy for another, before the semi finals Man City would have played their toughest games (Man Utd and Tottenham) if they get to win both, they can afford to rest some of their tops players as they have strong second XI, and win their remaining matches as they've done several times this season.

For tomorrow's games, I'll go with this :

Juve / Ajax 2-2 (yeah yeah I know but I'm a believer lol).
Barca / MU 5-1 (I'v said it before, I don't think MU belongs at this level).

Would love to see Ajax get to the semi final, I think Juve will just edge past them though.

I share the same sentiment, but If Ajax can score at least a goal first tonight, it might happen.
I'm having a small bet on Ajax to qualify for the semifinals though.
7266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: April 16, 2019, 07:45:32 AM
I expect Real Madrid to win tonight, and I find the odds for Real Madrid to win @ 1.74 quite much,  both teams have nothing to fight for, Madrid could be hoping to finish second place ahead of their Madrid rivals, mathematically it's still possible for Leganes to get relegated, but I'm sure it's not going to happen.

My prediction will be 0 - 2 in favor of Real Madrid.
Sorry mate, Leganes proved so hard for Real Madrid to beat. A 1-1 draw is all they could salvage.
Looks like Leganes recent record at home against Real Madrid has not yet stopped.

Another Goal for Karim Benzema tonight, who else thinks Real Madrid need more firepower, and they should just let go off Bale?

Real Madrid are just so unreliable, I lost my parlay bet on them, I had Arsenal and Madrid to win and Arsenal won their fixture against Watford.

Real Madrid need more than just a firepower, their midfielder as well is not up to par and they are all quite past their prime.

What a surprise today, GSW fans now not happy as the series is 1-1.
That 4th quarter rally though, Williams and Montrezl Harrell help the team to win this game, and Durant was fouled out in the game, so no option for the GSW to score aside from curry. Better luck next time, will be backing the GSW in game 3 to command the series.

OMG! Not in my wildest dream would I have saw that coming, GSW lost the games despite a 20 point lead very into the 3rd quarter, Rapture is coming!
7268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 16, 2019, 07:09:09 AM
the second leg tonight, Barcelona vs Manchester United. I am looking forward to it. it was very difficult for ManU be able to win at Camp Nou. but I'm sure Ole got a recipe for beating Barcelona tonight. It seems like it's impossible, I hope for a surprise from ManU. hope to get magic like against PSG. and ran to the semifinals

You'd have to look elsewhere for Ole's magic to work, definitely not against Barcelona at the Nou Camp, It's going to be long night for the Man Utd fans, and It's certain that their journey in this year's UCL ends tonight.

Tomorrow, I'm interested on the Sixers on how they will bounce back, I believe they will win but I'll carefully analyze the line since it's too high.

Update on my bet for tomorrow - Sixers -8, I'm predicting it will be a 10+ win for the home team.

A 2-0 will be hard for them to win the series.

Back with bang!

Welcome back, It was a big for the Sixers. I didn't see the game live, but when I checked the scoreline, I was asking myself If there was an overtime. I had the on - 8 too, as well as - 2.5 in the first quarter, I won both bets.

Warriors vs Clippers is also seeing quite a huge scoreline currently 184 points in total as at the time of this post (10 minutes into the 3rd quarter), Warriors are up by 20, 102 - 82. The warriors will not slow down, will they ?
7270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 15, 2019, 07:41:33 PM
Atalanta - Empoli has just started.
I think that Atalanta is going to win this match without any real problem. I also think that Empoli is going to score at least a goal so I will go for a combined bet where Atalanta wins with an over 2.5 goals in the match.

I saw the 1st half of the game, Atalanta dominated the game and could have scored at least a goal. I still think they'll win the game in 2nd half if they continue with such dominance, I however doubt we'll see up to 3 goals here.
7271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 15, 2019, 07:30:35 PM
Bad start for Watford. Arsenal will take advantage of this and may be score few more. If Arsenal can win (which they should) then they will find themselves one step ahead to be in the top four.

Yes, It can't get any better for Arsenal, an early lead and a red card to their opponent. This should be an easy win for them!
7272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Playoffs Prediction Pool(ONGOING REGISTRATION) on: April 15, 2019, 07:17:14 PM
Was you taking the 10% said upfront in the OP? I don't remember reading it. I'm just gunna be honest and say that's pathetic that you're taking any % to host this. I've hosted COUNTLESS fantasy/gambling leagues and never once took a single satsohi.  I'm sorry to hear this and certainly wont be participating in another where the host takes a cut.

I agree with you,
I actually thought the %age cut was actually going to the escrow, that'd have been understandable.
7273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 15, 2019, 05:22:41 PM
My speculation
Juve-Ajax 1-1 penalties Juve or 1-2 Ajax

City -Spurs 3-1
Barca-United 2-0
Porto-LFC 0-2

I'll go with
Juventus - Ajax 1- 2
City 2 - 0 Spurs
Barca 2 - 1 United
Porto 1 - 2 Liverpool
7274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 15, 2019, 03:48:28 PM
Watford vs Arsenal - What do you think guys? I think Arsenal are desperate for the points because they need to try & get back into the CL. My prediction is Watford 1-3 Arsenal but I’m not betting on it.

I'd go with Arsenal too but I'm sure about a huge number of goals in the match, I think it's definitely going to be an under 3.5 goals, and I'll say a 2 nil win for Arsenal because their season hangs in the balance here anything less than win is a loss for them.
7275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: April 15, 2019, 03:35:32 PM
Leganés vs Real Madrid today. I don't remember the last time RM played on a monday night, could be because we were always in the KO stage of the CL at this point  Cry

Any predictions for this match? Looking at out recent form, I think there's a risk that we drop points today. Last time we played vs Leganes away was in the league cup in January and we lost 1-0. If I were to bet on this game, I'd go with BTTS.

Though the Rockets and the Jazz are still playing but we can call this day already that a sweep for the home team.
No way Jazz will be able to rally and win with the remaining minutes.

Tomorrow, I'll be active again, I will start posting my own pick ( fade or follow), and I'm also interested to listen on your predictions.
Let's make this playoff season a profitable one for us.

Tomorrow, I'm interested on the Sixers on how they will bounce back, I believe they will win but I'll carefully analyze the line since it's too high.

It was blow out win for the Rockets, at least win can say it the games are now getting the expected results unlike the first couple of games.
I think the Sixers will bounce back after their first defeat but I'm not sure about the lines too, I was looking at backing them for - 8, I'm yet to to come to a conclusion anyways.

It looks like a done deal for Liverpool but for past experiences, one can not boldly say it is going to be their season for the much awaited trophy. Liverpool has messed up in previous years when they had the chance to win just two or so matches to claim the trophy. I hope this time they go straight for it without undermining any team.

Yes that's true because Liverpool's chances of lifting the trophy is not up to them, They'd need Man City to drop points, So it really doesn't matter if Liverpool win all their remaining fixture If Man City does too, then Man City will retain the trophy.

But at least, with today's result, Liverpool still give a pressure to Manchester City. Manchester City has a schedule that is heavier than Liverpool in the remaining matches. Manchester City still have to meet with Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United. Whereas Liverpool has a match schedule that is somewhat easier.

That's the only positive thing Liverpool will have hope for.
I'm also quite fascinated about the race for the top four, after Chelsea lost to Liverpool yesterday I'm not sure what their chances are.

I was going to post at halftime and say that Pacers look great/ready to play and Celtics will have a hard time to get a positive result. Then there is the third quarter, Indiana literally forgot how to play basketball, haven't seen anything like that in a long time, 18pt turnaround. Congrats on the win @Harkorede!

I'm not making bets anytime soon, my bankroll has almost disappeared due to a 3 game losing streak. Can't fucking catch a break.  Cheesy

Thanks mate, hopefully you'll get back better.

I don't know if we are unanimous here that the OKC will win in the series, tomorrow it will be the first game we will see if the Blazers
will feel the absence of J. Nurkic.  I'm not going to bet right now, PG is questionable if he will play (https://www.rotoworld.com/basketball/nba/injury-report), I will wait for the announcement and if he is available, will take the Thunder to win.

I'm not sure, but maybe I'm the black sheep here because I have placed a bet on the Blazers to win -2.5

Halftime here, Blazers are up by 10 points, I hope they keep it that way  Wink

keep it coming Smiley

Looks like a game settling goal from Salah, 3 points in the bag for the Reds, and I guess the City will feel the pressure mounting up
