7261  Economy / Economics / Re: The Blockchain will be commercial on: February 23, 2017, 05:44:23 AM

I was talking with one my friends and he told me 'blockchain will be commercial' .What does this means? Can anyone explain?
At first, read this
https://blog.ethereum.org/2015/08/07/on-public-and-private-blockchains/

And then you will see the private and public blockchain. Your friend was saying if the blockchain will be commercial and it means if the blockchain will have used by the commercial activities of a various institution.

And then, you must see some of the parties(bank, companies, etc) are researching the blockchain).

It's mean the blockchain will have used by the commercial parties in the future.
7262  Economy / Economics / Re: ETF approval will mean to you? on: February 23, 2017, 05:30:00 AM
With the news on the etf possibly getting approved March 11th just next month. Do you think it will push the price beyond $2000 like all is expect it to do once it does get the okay by financial houses?

http://bitcoindaily.org/economic-trends/bitcoin-price-climbing-in-speculation-of-etf-approval/

Looking at the chart that they have of all the exchanges in China failing in the last month with suspensions and fines being dealt out what will the etf do for those? Cause them to finally throw in the towel or even worst fold up and start their own etf to rival the American version by the Winklevoss's?

The storm is about to start the bitcoin price wars.
ETF accepted: mega pump.

ETF fail: small dip (or maybe nothing happens)
It should be happening. But Does 2013 give us a lesson about the SEC approval? I think it's having a high chance to get postpone. And at 9 march the withdrawal on the chinese exchange already unblocked by PBOC. and does it not give something for bitcoin if SEC will be trying to postpone it?
7263  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: February 23, 2017, 05:14:45 AM
the bitcoin price is now 1350 $ how to hell to don`t sell them , if the bitcoin price will go down i will lose some important money.
I will sell all of my bitcoin if we are close into 11 march. I had learned a lot from the 2013 about the buying the rumour. And in this time the past condition is happening right now. and i will be predicting it get the other postponed without the deadline.
7264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: February 22, 2017, 03:57:46 PM
Seems almost all weak hands have been shaken, I think we go up from here.

I just take a point if the uptrend of the golem has pushed by the bitcoin. The big pump will on march 2017. That's my speculation about altcoins. Altcoins still on the bearish trend. I don't see a reason to get the bullish trend asap.
7265  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: February 22, 2017, 01:24:38 PM
What do you think about the fact that cryptocurrencies will literally be the future ? In a few years, it will exploded and, be rich if we hold many ?
I believe that it is the future of currencies but crypto currencies still has a lot of work to do, like getting approve by the securities institution in every country.
That's the main point because the securities institution in every country were having the different perspective about the bitcoin or cryptocurrency. Look at the US security and currently already 3 years to get a decision by them. that's just wasting a lot of the time.
7266  Economy / Economics / Re: What if the ETF is or not aproved on: February 22, 2017, 01:17:16 PM
If the EFT will not be aprobed will it droped the price of the BTC?

Is the price of the BTC relaying on the aprobed of the EFT?

Or on the other hand it wont affect at all the price?

What do you think?
Yeah it is, make the pump hype for the price of bitcoin will have gone.

Nope, but the Approval rumour just give the hype for bitcoin and especially on the bitcoin price and it is impacting the bitcoin a lot. A lot of the similar thread like this one.
7267  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen 9th march ? on: February 22, 2017, 01:12:57 PM
Hello,

Do you have any ideas what can happen with bitcoin value after the biggest china exchange will make btc withdraws again possible after 30 days suspended in 9th march ?
No i don't. but there is no something special on 9 march. just the day before the SEC decision about approving the bitcoin ETF in US. Something special will be happening on 11 march. the withdrawal block by PBOC is not mean something in this time.
7268  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: February 22, 2017, 01:06:31 PM
Guys sorry for this question above but I would like to ask here that

What is the difference of Trading to Investing?

though I know that I can search it in google but I want an answer from those people who have already experienced this two.
Thank you.

I hope you can help me in my confusion..

Trading is exchanging things with someone else too get a profit out of it. For example I trade a piece of wood for a lighter so I can start a fire.
Investing is putting your money in something like Facebook and you wait for the worth to rise before you have a profit.
Can i putting my money on facebook? i just can buy their stock. but basically the trading is for exchanging our goods into the other valuable goods. but time to the time the definition of the trading is depend on the situation.
7269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty List on: February 21, 2017, 02:57:45 PM
Is there a topic where bounties for coins are listed?
For example, like NXC has now: https://twitter.com/BeyondVoidGame/status/833648604132864001
A lot of the bounties on the marketplace of altcoins section. and there is no the bounties list in this time because all of them having the different requirement. you can find them in the other section on the alternatecryptocurrencies.
7270  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: February 21, 2017, 02:48:35 PM
Investment using fiat money in a business is a better option to have but if you would invest using online digital currency which is the bitcoin, its better to be anonymous with your investments at altcoins trading and also with peer to peer buy and sell of btc.

Of course you need to invest your fiat money for any business and there's no business that you can invest freely? Depending on what do you think that will make you productive, whether it's with crpyto currency, trading or buying and holding bitcoins, go for it. But if you think you are going to be more productive with real business like properties, its good too.

Real world investments are always better then online investments as when you invest in real world you are into one to one agreement and chances of getting scammed are lower which is totally missing in bitcoin investments as majority of investment sites turns out to be scam in long run.

We can compare real world investment with bitcoin investments and I would say that they are both the best depending on what investment you are going to enter. And of course in investing the more investments that you are going to make that will always be the best thing ever. Depending also on your capability to invest.
in fact different people have different experience in their own field. in real life it is really very difficult to invest your money as you need to find a good and trusted form where you want to invest if you want to start a business for that you need a shop and in big cities it is not such an easy job. therefore for financially week people online investment is the best option.
And I do believe that the money always goes to money. If you were born in a rich family then you have all chances to become rich. If you were born in a poor family your ultimate dream is to become a top Manager in a large company.
Do its rules apply to some people such as the founder of facebook?

All about the people's effort. we can be changing our future and makes our dream come true. and as far as I know there are some of the rich people get bankrupt in the future.
7271  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: February 21, 2017, 02:43:51 PM
I was thinking about this, what if the US Dollar crashes like speculated by many renowned economists around the world?
What will be it's affects on the beloved currency, BTC?

For sure all altcoin's owner and altcoin holder's will rejoice because most of their price value will increase going to the moon Grin
And Bitcoin will also be like skyrocket the price value too. But its not gonna happen for now due to we know many country in the whole world dollars is very useful to their economy in terms of business aspects.
Yes, the Probality is big. but Bitcoin still have a competitor, gold was being currency since long time ago. bitcoin and gold, one will be a replacement for the dollar if its crashes. so the price will go up like a rocket. the dollar is very strong and not easily crashes, maybe if the world war came again, the dollar is likely crashes. anything can be happen in the war.
Although USA is strong country but if God have another plan, no one can prevent God will. Also bitcoin still have chance to replace dollar

Personally, I don't doubt that gold (as a means of settling international accounts) will take the place of the US dollar

But it still doesn't mean that gold will be directly competing with Bitcoin. In fact, both of these assets will profit tremendously from the dollar demise, should it occur for real. It is unlikely that Bitcoin will be used as payment in international trade (though I've read here about guys from the US using bitcoins in their trade with Chinese folks), but there is no doubt that many people will run from the dollar into Bitcoin as well if things start turning grim for the former

The dollar will demise slowly. but in the short term, it is the major currency.
Nope, if the US can stand on the strong legs and the dollar will very difficult to demise. although there are the other currencies more stronger rather than dollar and can make more domination around the world.
But in the previous centry the world has dominated by euro.
7272  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: February 21, 2017, 02:39:20 PM
Just do not forget the most important thing - the government regulation. That it can negatively affect the development of the currency. For example, the Chinese government has tightened measures to cryptocurrency
That is true that is why bitcoin can never become or replace the international currencies, because governments cannot control it and its value is not stable and it is not related to any fixed market and that is why they are trying to prevent us from using through making it harder for us to use it.

It's very impossible for bitcoin to replace international currencies and even the local currencies of small country they are not going to let it happen. Because if that will happen they can be controlled by a big or a holder that has a lot of bitcoins stored to his wallet or to his cold storage.
Yeah you got the poin.. that is why bitcoin is still the same as before.. just the different right now more website are accepting it but accepting bitcoin locally still not except from other country like in brazil and paris that there are some stores are accepting bitcoin as payment. .
Even bitcoin is accepted already to Brazil and Paris still it will not make the replacement of dollar. it will be just a good way for exchanging of products/ goods and services and it will remain be like that plus the investment it can give to us.

Big countries know about bitcoin already and as it continues to be progressive, the popularity will increase even more and although  it will be very popular as dollar, it will not replace dollar since dollar is a currency and bitcoin is a payment system. In short, they are complete different from each other and a legal currency is more dominant than a payment system.
I was aware if the bitcoin looks like the digital payment gateway without the unlimited coverage around the world. Dollar and bitcoin have the different definition and also on the other aspect among bitcoin and dollar. It will never replace the dollar in the future.
7273  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or zcash? on: February 21, 2017, 02:36:07 PM
I see some of you are young. In the 90's it appeared Microsoft would be king forever, now they are losing market share every gear. Before that, Xerox, most of you dont know who that is. Bitcoin may yet make you rich, but you'll see how time erodes those that cant adapt.

So you think that zcash will replace bitcoin? Everything can happen but I doubt that something similar could happen. Bitcoin for now is way far zcash because the community of bitcoin is parger.
I think yes, he is thinking that zcash will replace bitcoin
and I am doubt too it will happens because zcash has a little marketcap
be compared with bitcoin and the zcash still has a little comunity too.
Zcash is new and I am not surprised about the low volume on trading platform. In some point, zcash may seem very complicated and less useful than Bitcoin, but it is suitable for the world without the centralized system. Zcash is 100% anonymous and you have to understand that hackers love this features a lot
Zcash will be fully of the dump or i can say about the inflation of the coin. That's zero proof coin and have the different advantages with bitcoin you can't compare the both of bitcoin and zcash. Both are having the different building structure.
7274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum]UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform | Crowdsale March 2017 on: February 20, 2017, 03:57:52 PM
I got some concerns about this Qtum ICO.

First, why are only 51% of the coins being sold to the community?

Why are they using only chinese exchanges and official website? Note that i got told by a dev on slack that Chinese exchanges are going to be the fastest way of buying Qtum, which is bad for every non-chinese investor. Not to mention that all I hear about chinese exchanges is that they are kinda shady and not trustworthy.

What will be the price/Qtum? Not so worried about it but ICO is in 9 days, could get some info on that.

The fact that it is like the first one to not share its code before the ICO, if not then I am sorry, just not aware of any other like this. And the fact that the Mainnet will only be live at least a couple months after the ICO "successful" ending.

Exchanges will keep the coins for all that time, could lead to some manipulation, steal, and whatnot.

I really like the idea, the future plans and the fact that they got a lot of media attention but this last one can also be a very bad thing.

What non Chinese exchanges would you like to see added?
That's my concern, I have heard if the Chinese exchange will always try to restricting his new member to verification his ID. But I just think if liqui will try to put them on his exchange site and it may be a good thing rather than throw all of the stocks on the Chinese market.
7275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Feminine Altcoins on: February 20, 2017, 03:54:18 PM
Melania coin. and you will get the flying hammer by the US president donald trump. but just look at some of the feminine coin on the announcement section. you may grab some of the feminine coin.  Cheesy
7276  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: February 20, 2017, 03:44:26 PM
Bitcoin has no such support as fiat currency, we are talking about trilions of dollars, while bitcoin is at bilions, its far away to get close even gold market. Bitcoin wont replace anything it can be used as store of value, like gold, but hasnt power to replace anything, some services may fail or loose costumers as WU but in the end this wont damage enought to make they close doors, bitcoin need to improve a lot till be able to replace anything if it will do that someday.
Too early for think if the bitcoin will be replacing everything in the future. I mean just try to realise about some problem was existing on the bitcoin such as the scaling problem and others. Bitcoin is not ready for replacing anything as soon as possible.
7277  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 20, 2017, 03:40:56 PM
I never put all my assets in a single investment vehicle. This is a very risky situation for investment. Instead, I used different investment tools to minimize potential losses.

It makes more sense to buy gold with 50% of the money and take the bitcoin with the remaining 50%.

You should also consider diversifying your money into other asset classes as well because investments means not only just bitcoins and gold. But you can also invest in shares, bonds, some money in fixed deposits if your country is offering decent % of interest and real estate businesses. The more you diversify then the investor can reduce their losses in the longer run.

I agree.
OP just asked as gold and bitcoin. That's why I answered that. It makes sense to use different investment tools that we think will make money. This will minimize the damage.

But we need to know about the vehicles we will invest in. Investing in areas that we do not know is not very logical.
OP just inquiring about investing in bitcoin and gold, which is best? but I think you also have to look for other potential investments, and not a problem to use gold and bitcoin to invest
yes no dount that there are so many other opportunities of investment a trading but i think OP just comparing the two and want to know that in these two which one is more profitable. to me i think both are valuable investment but i think bitcoin have the edge that its value increase very rapidly therefore there are more chance that bitcoin will give you more profit as compare to gold.
It's just a guess and only gold in reality can be much more stable than the bitcoin.
yes gold is more stable but i think bitcoin is more good for investment and making money as gold is only good for holding your money safe but if you are interested in investment then you have the only choice and that is bitcoin.

Bitcoin is good according to the price and his volatility. but the gold already lived from a long time ago. but bitcoin already existed on the every century.  and we are know how the communities were seeing it. that was very valuable to keep it for the long term investment.
7278  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it profitable to run a Bitcoin faucet in 2017 on: February 20, 2017, 03:37:58 PM
most bitcoin users would not tend to waste of their time on collecting very small amounts on faucets,so it would not profitable.

I do not agree with you. Bitcoin is becoming popular day by day. And new users prefer to get Satoshi free. And they are beginning to do it is often in such services
I did not see anything from your statement. they are trying to get bitcoin for free. but based on the current condition about the bitcoin faucet and it's not profitable. too many the faucet site already closed caused by his can't keep his life.

Hi, can anybody confirm if this is real or fake: https://swisscoin.space/
They are posting this as proof of being real, but as far as I can tell, it's yet another scam and ponzi scheme.
