7281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: October 07, 2019, 07:33:02 AM
Because why not? It is a great risk and for as we know just like cryptocurrency with bigger risks, the bigger the money you could get. And lottery is a classic way of winning ever since it was established. Many people are still taking the risk in joining lotteries. And many people changed their lives because of winning a lottery.
and only takes your couple of bucks to bet and have your number combinations{unless you use computer automated combo it may cost higher}
not like other betting games that you need to focus spend lot of time and money,in lottery you only need to bet in the morning and wait till afternoon for the result of winning numbers, isnt it cool than playing poker and dice?
Yes it only takes a couple bucks in your pocket but lets do a computation a bit.
Lets say you gamble around $1 every day in lottery. That is $7 a week and around $30-$31 a month and in a year it will be $365. In some countries maybe it is a small amount only but in some third world countries where there are lotteries, that amount is huge already.

The mistake of some gamblers in lottery is that they can't control themselves and they will gamble as long as there is a few bucks left in their pocket. They are hoping that they will win. I personally don't gamble in lotteries because of the very low odds of winning and the jackpot in some lotteries aren't that attractive to me to be honest. Yes if you win it will be a life changing jackpot but you need a huge capital to get it.

Most of the high rank users here said to the OP that chipmixer is the best recommended site for mixing.
I tried to visit the website and this is what I saw

Any problems to their website?? Or I'm the only one who are experiencing this or there is a mistake.
7283  Other / Meta / Re: 3 Years Ago I Lost 5 BTCs from a Scam Sent From BitcoinTalk.org Official Email on: October 07, 2019, 06:43:12 AM
True story,

In 2017 I was running my bitcoin blog; one of the first blogs created in the space, when someone contacted me from an official BitcoinTalk.org. They asked for 5 BTCs to post a banner ad on BT. Seeing that the email was coming from an official BT address, I sent them 5 BTCs.

Two weeks later after not hearing from anyone, I received a message from BitcoinTalk.org saying their email was hacked and the ad offer was from a scammer.

5 Bitcoins today = $40,000 USD. I really miss it. I wish BitcoinTalk.org would at least say sorry.
At least send some proofs here that what you are saying is true Wink. I'm not saying that you are damaging the image of the website but I don't think they will do it to you. They will not just PM you out of nowhere and ask for 5 BTC. Just my opinion.

But in behalf of the admins of the website, I would say sorry or not because they are not the ones who did it. Probably a scammer did it and they just used this site. Send some proofs before creating a thread like this here Smiley
7284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Governor's Cup betting and discussion on: October 07, 2019, 06:36:09 AM
Well man, he suffered enough! Is he? He should be back now. The suspension is enormous for me.

We just miss him that's why we say that, the PBA organization has a rules to follow and its now defends on the commissioner if he will grant the request of the fans to allow him to play again. Actually he is really needed to win the Phoenix, I mean to have more wins, they need a closer like him who brings energy to the floor, if we witnessed how the Phoenix played in their games with Calvin, they struggle a lot especially in the half or in the winning moment.

I am very confident he will be granted pardon of his mistake and we shall see him soon.
What he really did is very shameful not only to his team but to the association too. Yes he is a very big asset to the Phoenix but if he continues to play how he is playing then he will receive multiple suspension from the commissioner. What he did is what he deserves. A clothesline to an import?? It is an unprofessional move coming from him.

The commissioner gave him permission already to attend the practice with his team but to play this season? I don't think so. More probably in the next season which is the All Filipino cup.
7285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 07, 2019, 06:09:11 AM
Many of us here are hardcore bitcoin believers. If you are anything like me, you've put most of your savings in bitcoin.
I'm one of them and I know that it is a very risky move for me but I trust Bitcoin that is why I'm risking it. I'm ready into any situation that can happen to Bitcoin even it goes up or down Wink.

However, how painful is it to watch bitcoin price plummet?  Cry   Undecided  Roll Eyes  Huh  Sad  Angry
When I first experienced the bull market last 2017, I didn't felt anything since I'm a newbie at that time. When I experienced the year of hell last 2018, I didn't felt anything too. Maybe I'm just rock-hearted when it comes to investments Cheesy. I saw Bitcoin go up so much and go down so much already and I felt nothing Cheesy

April 1st signaled the start of what seemed would be yet another bull run… however, the rally seems to have been cut short without getting close to the all-time high.
Many believed it too but there is a quote saying "What goes up will go down" and that happened to Bitcoin. A little bit expected but I don't see Bitcoin going back to its previous lows of ~$3000.

What do you think would be a smarter way of hodling bitcoin other than standing still, bag in hand, while watching the price go back down to the $3K range?
One is to analyze the market and learn when is the perfect time to buy and sell.
Another one is to just accumulate more Bitcoin and hold for the long run.
7286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: October 07, 2019, 05:53:50 AM
Most of the time gamblers lose a lot of money only few are able to survive. Either they are lucky or the one who knows their limitations.
Even those who are lucky are ending up losing all of their money Wink because gamblers tends to become more greedy if they know they are winning. Luck isn't there forever and it has its own limitations. You will win now because you are lucky but not tomorrow because you are not.

Gamblers who knows their limitation is most likely the ones who are ending up winning in gambling. When they reached their specific target, they will just stop and go outside the casino (or their PC if online) .

My secret is to read as many sources about forward event as I can. I prefer betting on sport, because I don`t beleive in a bling luck. My balanced opinion is formed of professional forecasts which have real betting competency.
Try to read books with financial management strategies. It is a good start for increasing your capital without bets "all in".
That is not a secret bud. It is very common already for some gamblers. Maybe there are some gamblers who are not reading many sources. You can say it as a secret because most of the gamblers doesn't know this strategy.
7287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: October 07, 2019, 05:38:24 AM
Warriors seems confident that they were able to replace Iguodala and even Livingston's defensive capabilities.

I know that they are no longer the favorite and I also doubt that they can reach Western conf. finals even if they have Klay but I still want to see what their young squad can do. It was only a few years ago when Steph was dubbed as the baby face assasin there. Now, he is the oldest in their roster.

I know that this is just the pre-season but I think GSW will not be really a big of a deal this season, unlike the recent one. Steph is still great, I mean 18 minutes in the court with 18 points,3 rebs, and 2 assts, that is just amazing. But as a whole, they are not that scary as a team. We don't know still, it is just a prediction and I might be wrong.
They are no longer scary because they no longer possess that same offensive firepower. Opposing teams are also familiar with their style of play.

With Durant and other key players out, we'll see if the new replacements can fill in those big shoes.
They've really messed up last NBA Finals to be honest. Because of their management, Durant will not play this season. Now that they don't have KD on their roster and Klay is sitting for a long time right now, their offensive decreased a lot compare to how good are them in offense last season.

Yes they are no longer scary at this moment but.... if Russell and some of their players can step up in their game, their is a chance that they can become as strong as they are last season. Remember when Curry is still at his young age in Warriors but through the years he became stronger, it can happen too to other players. Russell and maybe McKinnie can fill up what KD and Klay left.
7288  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't become Bounty Hunter! on: October 07, 2019, 05:32:16 AM
I will just share a bit of my experience regarding Bounty Hunting.

When I first joined in a bounty campaign, I still remember it and it was the Paycent Bounty campaign and it became a successful one so I'm lucky at that time. The next campaign I joined is the Sirin Labs campaign which also became a successful one. After the first 2 campaigns I joined, out of the 10 campaigns that I joined maybe around 1-2 will pay me their tokens and unfortunately some doesn't have any value at all. I tried to join the translation campaign and luckily one campaign paid me and fortunately sell it (Helbiz Campaign) and the profit I got there has been used to buy my new phone.

To summarize my experience, out of the many campaigns that I joined there is a 1/10 chance that they will pay me after spending some time advertising them. Worst some of them doesn't have any value until now.

It is sad to see many come to this forum and the first thing they do is participate in bounty campaigns because someone told them they could make money that way. In most cases, such campaigns pay in some rather worthless tokens or pay nothing at all.
When this forum has been introduced to me by my companion, he said to me that I can get knowledge here regarding Bitcoin and crypto (he explained it to me first before saying this forum) and aside from it he said also to me that I can get some few bucks here.

I put bounty hunting in category of big time-wasting, even bigger then claiming on faucets - today you at least get pay instantly in 90% of faucets on your microwallet account.
I can agree with this. With faucets, there is a high chance that you can withdraw your rewards there but it is just time wasting. Here in bounty campaigns, if the campaign is a scam you will get a huge 0 in your face. Bounty hunting right now is more time wasting compare to faucets but..... still there are some bounty campaigns who are paying the bounty hunters. Its just that they are very hard to find right now because most of them ending up either a fail project or a scam project.

Padami ng padami. Tumataas ang numbers. It's almost as exciting as watching blockfolio (or delta) or the price charts of your favorite coins.
To be honest, I'm not surprised na ganito mangyayari sa cryptotalk campaign. Hindi hawak ni Yahoo ang pag accept or decline ng participants so binaban na lang niya. Ang daming dormant accounts na biglang nagising dahil sa campaign na ito but they ended up getting banned.

For sure, tataas pa ito sa mga susunod na linggo at di na ako magugulay if umabot sa 80-85% ang banned members na sumali dito Cheesy

7290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: October 06, 2019, 12:42:05 PM
Stories like these are what encourage people more to do the lottery. Although the chances of winning are like one in a million, the reward is definitely attractive to make someone bet continuously and consistently. The lottery is not the problem but the addiction that comes with it. There are others who sacrifice their resources to gamble, prejudicing their priorities in their family or at work.
It is somewhat weird for me that many people are still gambling in lottery even they know already that their chances of winning is very close to zero. Yes the reward makes it attractive but the question is do you have enough money to get it? Some who are addicted to gambling will borrow some money from their companions just to gamble which is very bad Sad.
7291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: October 06, 2019, 12:30:03 PM
It looks like we are going to see Lebron as the point guard for the Lakers again. With tall guys around him like AD and McGee, the job is much easier now.
I remember the time when Lebron is still on the Cavaliers and single handedly (not single but he did the most part) put his team on the Finals but unfortunately lost to the Warriors 4-0

Now he can again do what he want again in Lakers and now with the more stronger roster with AD and McGee and also Howard in the paint, he can go into any position he wants too but most of the time he will be a point guard. So yes we will see a Point Guard Lebron this season.

I'm a Warriors fan for a long time already but to be honest, I don't see them to reach the NBA Finals anymore with their current roster. They're more focused on the offensive rather than the defensive. Just my opinion.
7292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's next for bitcoin ? on: October 06, 2019, 11:29:40 AM
The adoption rate of cryptocurrencies will increase in the next years.
More and more establishments will accept not just Bitcoin but other cryptos.

These are some of the things that will happen for Bitcoin in the future. I know there are some but there is a possibility that it will not happen. I believe that those two will happen every year. Many are saying that Bitcoin will rise in the next year but there is still a possibility that it will not happen Smiley.
7293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are we really investing in bitcoin? on: October 06, 2019, 10:45:48 AM
The better, more selfless reason is that they believe in its decentralized ideas and might not fully like a centralized system that most of our financial systems have so far, and they like what blockchain technology is doing to our society and therefore are investing.
I don't want a centralized system too like our current financial system that we are using right now that is why I'm supporting Bitcoin which is a decentralized currency. I believe that more people will support Bitcoin in the future.

The other reason is purely money-based and they just get the idea from friends or media outlets that BTC will constantly go up as a currency, and in a year they can make thousands of the coin - I think this is the more popular reason nowadays.
Trust. They believe that in the next years, Bitcoin will give them profit that is why they are buying and holding Bitcoin.
7294  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [GAME CONTEST]--💰🎁PREDICTION PRICE OF BTC in Q4🎁💰-- on: October 06, 2019, 10:26:20 AM
OP says that we need a TA in order for us to join. Paano yan OP hindi ako naniniwala sa TA dahil ang TA is just a prediction too Wink. 50/50 chance na it will happen or not. One reason too is that I'm not good in TA so I will base my prediction on the history and what I'm feeling will be the price before the year end.

I will go to around $9620 for me.
I used Observation Haki to my prediction Wink (One Piece reference Cheesy)

Short explanation lang why I choose my prediction at around $9000 mark. When Bitcoin fall into the $3k mark last December 2018, the price movement of it in the first 3 months of 2019 is sideways and in April it started to rise again. I believe that will happen again this time. It will move sideways at around the $8-10k level for quite some time.

I have watched a video on youtube regarding the possible next movement of Bitcoin and according to his analysis, Bitcoin is at its bearish state at this moment.
7295  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 06, 2019, 08:14:51 AM
Bitcoin was not made to spend. Not for now. There is a misinterpretation of what Satoshi wrote in the Whitepaper: "A peer-to-peer eletronic cash system". He created bitcoin to be an electronic money system. This is a fact.
If it was not made to spend then what is the main reason why Bitcoin is created?? Yep it is created to be an electronic money system that will be use by people to transfer their funds from point A to point B. It really depends on how the holder of Bitcoin sees it. I use Bitcoin to buy some of my needs (thru conversion) and some of it to hold.

This tools really help you become a pro trader but to aside from these, there is one tool that is more important than this and it will help you become a professional trader.

Emotions, attitudes and traits. If you can control yourself in trading then you will be a pro. Even if you know this tools the OP posted if you don't know how to control yourself then it will become useless.
7297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 06, 2019, 07:50:26 AM
The fight is probably going to end up in a knockout and we will see them swinging from the get go. I hope this fight lives up to expectations.
It really ended in a knockout as Adesanya knocked out Whittaker in Round 2. Flawless movement of the head and the reach advantage of Adesanya really helped him get the victory. To be honest, I like how Israel move when Whittaker goes on offense. So many head kick misses too and that huge counter punch that knocks him out Cheesy.
7298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regret In Changing A Bet Have You Experienced on: October 06, 2019, 06:15:21 AM
If you dont want to have regrets of changing your bet then stick to your first bet so whatever happens its your decision.
I often experienced this where I feel regretful when I choose to change my first bet instead of staying on it. Now I always stick with my first bet because I don't want that to experience again and I will be more ok if I lose at least I put my bet on my first choice instead of changing it.
7299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: October 06, 2019, 06:02:59 AM
That's right. Especially LA Lakers whose line-up is focused on inside games with LeBron dictating their tempo. Based on their game on pre-season against GSW, the Lakers seems to be unstoppable inside the paint and that's a big problem for most of their opponents.
I have watched the highlights of the Lakers vs GSW game and the Lakers simply dominated the shaded area with Lebron, Davis and McGee. To be honest they have good inside players and a good backcourts too. If there will be no injuries for them throughout the whole season, there is a big chance that they will reach the playoffs this season but still don't expect too much for them even their roster is better now compare to the their roster last season.

End of rant.  I am thinking of taking up a new hobby.
Maybe I can't feel what you are feeling right now but it is what is. Lets just accept the truth that people are becoming greedy when they are getting richer. CONTENTMENT. This is the reason why people are becoming greedy. They don't have contentment as their needs increases when their income increases too.

As they said, it is what it is. Instead of quitting about it, why don't you just chill yourself a bit and travel a bit or get some beer and watch some sports for the meantime and instead of quitting about it maybe you can focus on the technology behind it and learn from it.
