guys, only way you might get some coins back is t\o find dmf. no courts, no laywers, no police reports.

you find out where he is and you knock on his door

Yeah, thats definitely not going to work, unless you want to involve yourself in the legal cases and get to jail. Even if you guys figure out who he really is, Its going to be hard to even get your coins back, specially with hardly any proof except for the blockchain that you invested. And there is no proof that guy actually owned the website.

There's no other way.
Authorities will not help investors here, the ONLY way is convince dmf/to4d in person.

You really think he'll get authorities involved after scamming and running with assets worth hundreds of thousands of dollars?

Yes, I think he will.

KingOfSports, you seem like an OK guy, so how did you get the below red flag next to your name?  I'm curious how this would happen, is it a troll who decides to smear you? Or maybe, like in business, if you do enough business eventually some a hole will be displeased for some reason?

It's a strange story.

KoS struggled with gambling addiction. From what I can remember, he claims that he deliberately damaged his reputation so that people wouldn't lend him coins to gamble with.

I believe the dude made him a loan of like 2btc, but sent it to him twice.  KoS being the degin that he is justified paying him back half the bitcoins, but since there was no agreement for the other two coins that they where just freebies  Roll Eyes lol (or the story is very close to along those lines.)

Moral of the story:

Click the send button once.

Dice sites have standardised on a 1% house edge; I can't think of a single site other than satoshidice that charges more than that.

7289  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinGambling.Reviews - The premier bitcoin gambling reviewing experience on: October 22, 2014, 02:21:15 AM

If yo're a casino and wish to be reviewed you can leave a link of your site here with the transaction of 0.05 to our wallet 1mHHC6PuMw75pnNeBzGrUBQnyRcfvXZAF
This way we know website owners are dedicated to developing their site and are not fly by night operators. The funds will be used for a signature campaign, which will indirectly help participants as well!

Good call with all the scams and half ass projects around.

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Wow, nice piece of work. But... is selling firearm ok in this forum?

Totally fine to sell on the forums and I'm sure this one will sell no problems.

Best of luck on your sale!!

FFL to FFL always
You don't need an FFL to mail long guns, only to receive them. Anyone can mail long guns via UPS or USPS.

You don't need to escrow either, but it is always advised Tongue!

I would always advise using a FFL here if you want to be 1000% sure you are all good.

Selling/buying/possessing guns is a American rights... I don't know why others would think the forums are at risk.

I know that a few other forums that don't support this American right and I  no  longer use them! (crypto crypt)

Good idea.

My friend thinks the hopper would be $10,000+, but I think the idea would still be a great one.

Put the first location in SF.

I see this being far more important than Bitcoin ATM's.

I will bring more people into Bitcoin which is just as powerful if not more so than huge sums of cash or one large vendor.

I just go to ebay and start messaging people with power.

Make the deal outside of ebay.
7295  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Careful with BTC loans on: October 20, 2014, 03:26:40 AM
Loans and Bitcoins go together about as well as oil and water.

Never make gambling loans. That is a important thing to learn early as well in Bitcoinland.
7296  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase poor service - total lack of responsiveness on: October 20, 2014, 03:23:39 AM
Just register them with the Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org/)

BBB is a joke.

Coinbase has blocked my account from buying and no longer answers my customer service shit either.

Everyone company that gets large turns to total shit.  Coinbase used to be great in the 50btc instant days!

Have you tried using the chat on their website?   Its live, and someone always responds immediately.

-B-

They can't discuss accounts (lol)
7297  Economy / Gambling / Re: Grab two BTC from Dice site, Make headache to Dice site owner, Real or not ? on: October 20, 2014, 03:16:59 AM
Martingale eventually fails. People have had losses of 28 at 50%. So there is no bankroll safe enough to cover losses.

I lost $5,000 making a bet that no one ever lost >28 in a row on JD... turns out the magic number was 32 over a few thousand accounts.

Needless to say I don't go outside in thunderstorms any more.
7298  Economy / Goods / Buying Pappy Van Winkle bottles. Paying 2x MSRP via BTC. PappyInThemail.com on: October 20, 2014, 01:34:17 AM

7299  Economy / Gambling / Re: Grab two BTC from Dice site, Make headache to Dice site owner, Real or not ? on: October 20, 2014, 12:14:56 AM
If you are playing @ 49.5% (doubling your coinage each time with a 1% edge.)

The chance of you hitting 6 in a row is 2^6.

The only 100% chance you won't get 6 losses in a row is if you bet 5 times Smiley.
7300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: QUESTION: bank deposit withdrawal limits if you sell a large number of BTC. on: October 19, 2014, 08:51:55 PM
banks apparently treat anyone as a criminal, who suddenly begins depositing large amounts of money by wire.they informed me that even as small as $10,000. will be questioned by legal authorities automatically at the time of the bank wire.any amount above that ,it seems impossible to ever get the money released, off hold, nomatter where it came from, and with the recent stories of bitcoins being tied to drug sales and money laudering, how could I ever get my money into fiat, cash? I think the actual answer is,its truly impossible.ask any banker.

unless your a celebrity, such in music or sports star, these $10,000. deposit/withdrawal limitations make your bitcoin worthless.please inform me if im wrong at all.

I tried more then $10,000 and nothing happen, you just need to have good credit history..

The bank does the paper work for you.

Also don't be a retard and try to split the money in multiple deposits, but rush it in there. That is a no no too.

If you are concerned about your fiat coming into the system it is probably wise to leave it in Bitcoin Tongue
