Verstappen was leading today and had great chance to win and then this accident happened:
https://mobile.twitter.com/F1/status/1061696911617404928
Occon tried to unlap himself but he hit Verstappen. It was fault of Occon, but on the other hand Verstappen didn't left enough place for Occon.
And after race Verstappen showed very unprofessional behaviour:

7282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: November 11, 2018, 12:08:09 PM
There are few interesting matches in La Liga today. Barca will face Real Betis at Camp Nou. Betis in 15th place only, but they're playing solid football as we can see from their results in Europa league. Coutinho will miss this game due to injury, but finally Messi and Umtiti returns.
Celta will play against Real at home. In recent years Celta is difficult opponent for Real, especially at Balaidos.
Yesterday there was another great game to watch - Atletico won against Athletic 3:2 thanks to Godin goal on additional time.
7283  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: November 11, 2018, 12:11:08 AM
I wanted to give some insight about Ferratum bank:

I recently registered and have been playing with their app. Access to services is app only apparently. But I don't think this bank gets as much appreciation as it should. Not that they're doing glossy advertising for their features anyway. But the feature set offered is impressive to me.

From within the app, you're allowed to create
Savings or current accounts, as well as Term deposits.

Accounts can come in EUR, SEK, GBP, CHF, PLN, DKK and NOK! I checked and I was even able to create multiple accounts in one currency (I don't actually need this and now there's no option to delete Cheesy )! And there's no maintenance fee.

What's even more impressive is that currency exchange (according to their claims) comes with no fees on top of their rate. This is especially convenient for everyday use because for a small amount, when there's no fee charged, it can make a big difference. I tested and for EUR -> NOK it was even cheaper than transferwise with their rate, at least for amounts around 100 EUR. The rate difference I noticed between transferwise and FerratumBank was less than 1% less favorable in Ferratumbank. So for small amounts, if there's no fee, Ferratum is your best bet.

Also the card, (which I've yet to receive), claims to have no withdrawal fees worldwide!

It seems like they've thought about the majority of things someone working with people and businesses around the world could ask for, and it's all offered at no or very low cost too! I hope it stays that way.
Really impressed so far! It's very nice to see that there's competition in the market for Neobanks.
I saw somewhere Ferratum advertised as money lending service, didn't knew that they're bank also. From your review it looks like interesting option to try. No or very minimal fees, free contactless debit card, good exchange rates sounds very attractive. But main question for me - what's their attitude towards crypto, they're crypto friendly bank or no? I wasn't able to find information about that. I heard stories that some Neobanks, same like regular banks can close accounts if it's used to transfer money from/to crypto exchanges.
7284  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dude...Whats your problem? Got issues? Questions.. on: November 10, 2018, 11:54:53 PM
Being as you say, a not tech savvy guy, what were your biggest learning curves or hardest to figure out how to do when you were first learning about crypto? Why was this an issue and did you know others that had the same issues? How did you solve those problems in the past?

Do you feel theres a lack of information that is easily digestible for non tech savvy people? What thing do you wish you had found early on in your learning process that would have sped up or made easier to learn and understand crypto?

What do you currently find difficult to understand, or what would you want to be made easier for you to understand so you can do/use in the crypto-sphere? Anyone else you know that struggle to understand or learn about similar things? What do they say?
When I was new to Bitcoin it was difficult to understand even basic things. For example, then I was thinking that Bitcoin Core is the only available wallet and it's neccessary to download whole blockchain to use Bitcoin. But then I searched for more information and found answers that I needed.
Yes, I think there isn't enough information which would be easy to understand for newbies. There are so many specific therms which are important to know like peer to peer, mining, nodes, outputs, inputs, blocks, blockchain and etc - it's difficult to understand what these things means when you are new. I think that explanation of these things in simple words would definitely help for newbies and not tech savvy people. But on the other hand, it's difficult to find simple words to explain such thing like crypto.
Currently I'm not struggling to understand something, because as I said I'm no trying to go deep into details. But when I'm trying to explain some basic things about crypto to my friends or family members they barely can understand. For example I rember that I failed to explain how forks happen. And I noticed that they tend to believe in FUD that news media are spreading about Bitcoin and crypto.
7285  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best anonymous bitcoin debit card to GBP as of 23/04/18 on: November 10, 2018, 09:11:37 PM
Thank you LTU_btc. So Cryptopay might be best for UK?
Yeah, Cryptopay seems to be best option currently. And I wasn't right that they have only virtual cards, they have plastic cards also. But you need to know that they have £1.00 monthly maintenance fee and £1.75 ATM withdrawal fee.

4 more games tomorrow and it looks more predictable, chance to get few more points...
7287  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] How to stay safe when dealing with exchanges and their support managers. on: November 10, 2018, 06:32:21 PM
Very nice guide and great suggestions. I also want to say few words. Some exchanges have sms 2FA which aren't very safe. Always use Google 2FA if possible and don't forget to backup your recovery code. Once I had problem on Bittrex. I didn't cared much about security and someone hacked my account. And hacker added his 2FA on my Bittrex account and I wasn't able to login. Fortunately support helped to recover my account and hacker wasn't able to withdraw my money. Since then I always use 2FA on exchanges.
And one point which wasn't mentioned by you, related to phishing scams. We often see various giveaways of BTC or ETH on social media posted with name of famous exchange. But it's always posted from fake accounts. Exchanges aren't giving money for free, these fake giveaways are made only to scam people.
7288  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why isn't Meta considered to be an earnable board? on: November 10, 2018, 02:29:59 PM
I think it's mainly because Meta isn't a target audience of most projects, same like Politics & society, offtopic and most of local boards. Meta is place to discuss forum news, communicate with forum staff and etc, but not to discuss about cryptocurrencies, this is why most of projects aren't paying for posts made in Meta and some other boards
<…>
I don’t think that many signature campaigns skip post count on Meta. I can’t recall seeing any, although I don’t often browse the conditions of campaigns in general, other than the ones I participate in.

I’ve just browsed over 15-20 campaigns from the Bounty section, and they barely put restrictions to posting on sections. I’ve seen a few exclude Off-topic, Archival, and Marketplace (Altcoins), but not Meta. Local boards are sometimes excluded too.

Edit: Ok, I found one that excludes Meta, but it doesn't really seem like such a common exclusion practice.
I think that mainly Bitcoin signature campaigns aren't paying for posts in Meta. Altcoin bounties probably are paying for posts in most boards of forum, including Meta. It doesn't cost anything to create tokens from thin air, and bounties prefer quantity over quality and want to be vissible in boards of forum.
7289  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best anonymous bitcoin debit card to GBP as of 23/04/18 on: November 09, 2018, 12:45:31 AM
Unfortunately, there are no such cards as others already said, especially for GBP. And in general, there aren't not much options available in market since last year when majority of Bitcoin debit cards stopped working. Mostly services promised that they will find new card provider soon, but until now we still have to wait. There are few cards available now, but their prices, fees and limits aren't very attractive to use. And I think you should forget about anonymous cards - hugeblack explained why wery well.
Thank you LTU_btc link. What is the best of those available now?
I don't know which one is best, because all of them have more or less disadvantages. Bipay available in USA only, Cryptopay have only virtual cards for EU residents, Shift and Wirex is expensive. I don't know any other avaiable cards right now, but maybe I forgot something.
7290  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: A catch in the blockchain.com XLM airdrop - KYC ! Thoughts ? on: November 09, 2018, 12:33:32 AM
When I saw title of this thread I thought it's just another attempte of scammers to steal private keys of people with fake giveaways. It's very popular to post such fake giveaways on Twitter with name of popular exchanges and wallets. Now I visited Blockchain.com and realised this is real thing. And I don't like this idea. Most of exchanges and wallets warning their users that they aren't giving money for free. Now when there was real giveaway from Blockchain.com, scammers may try to use this kind of schemes more actively and it will be easier to find victims.
Back to the topic. Blockchain.com at least aren't hidding fact that they will ask for KYC to be eligible for airdrop - it's stated quite clearly on their website. But I'm not going to sell my identity for 25$. It's not because I don't trust them. It's because I'm using their service just as a web wallet and I don't see any reasons why they would to know my identity. But who knows, maybe in future they will require KYC in order to use web wallet...

7292  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do you think that crypto exchanges are dead? on: November 08, 2018, 11:23:26 AM
It's normal thing that old exchanges occupied biggest part of market. They been here for long and they got solid number of users in all these years. Their users just don't see any reasons to go somewhere else. It's difficult fir new exchanges because in mostly cases they don't have anything new to offer and basically they have same features as old exchanges. But for example, we can see that decentralized exchanges earned their share of market. And offcourse, it's not that easy to earn trust of users, tgey don't want to put their money in not wery well known places.
7293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On what kind of gambling you got maximum reward from betting? on: November 08, 2018, 11:11:38 AM
Sports betting. It's simply because this is only type of gambling which I'm playing. Sometimes I bet few bucks when odds are very high. Few bucks isn't much to lose, but sometimes I can get really big reward if I win. I'm not playing dice, roulette, blackjack and other games just because I know that I will just waste my money on these games.
7294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool £25 in btc to join on: November 08, 2018, 12:19:00 AM
Congrats to tokeweed and hahay who managed to predict correct results of 5 mathes this round. But nobody can beat Trofo who managed to collect 28 points in previous round. This week was very close and most of players collected similar number of points this time. And there was 3 matches - Monaco-Brugge, Crvena Zvezda - Liverpool, Juve - MU where all palyers got 0 points for their predictions Cheesy
7295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 07, 2018, 10:17:03 PM
I just leave this photo here:

Juventus dominated today totally, but it was enough for United to play something similar to football in last 10 minutes to win this game. Mourinho football at it's finest.
And what a performance by Manchester City - 6:0 against Shakhtar. They managed to beat quite decent team in amazing style without important players like Aguero and de Bruyne. But stilll, one of penalties was ridiculous, good that there will be VAR in UCL next season.
7296  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S now supports IOTA on: November 07, 2018, 11:11:03 AM
Finally serious addition to Ledger wallet. Because recently I though they are mainly focused on adding various forks and less popular coins - these are easier to integrate and requires less work. Next big thing - adding Cardano support, there is big demand from users, I hope they will add this coin soon too.
7297  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Want to get Merits?? Read this!! on: November 06, 2018, 11:57:47 PM
OP, sorry, nothing personal, but I think this thread wasn't really needed. You put effort into your post and collected correct information, but the problem that there was so many similar topics and you just repeated points which already been covered so many times. I think that there are more than enough information for newbies about Merit.
Accept it or not, 99% of the users are in because of merit. So why not tackle the issue head on. It is like everyone wants one but doesn't want to talk about it.
I think you exaggerate Merit too much. Not everyone here need Merit, same like not everyone came to Bitcointalk to earn money.
7298  Other / Meta / Re: I don't want to use the marketplace - auctions board. on: November 06, 2018, 11:43:57 PM
Wouldn't it actually help improve the marketplace - auctions board if you create a topic there on what you're selling, as it actually adds something to that board that's not bitcointalk accounts? I don't know, it depends on the point of view I guess.
Agree. Legit deals would help to improve marketplsce. We shouldn't let account sellers to completely takeover this board. Unfortunately, account sales is allowed here and we are forced to share marketplace board with all these shady sellers.
Also, you can use Digital goods sub-board if you're going to sell domains for fixed price:

7299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 06, 2018, 11:24:55 PM
After this sensational win of Crvena Zvezda situation in this group is really hot. Now all 4 teams (even Crvena Zvezda) have chances to reach next round, only 2 points are between first and last place.
I watched match between Barca and Inter and I think 1:1 result satisfy both teams. Finally we saw Malcom playing and it was enough few touches to score his first goal in Barca.
Tottenham reached very important win, despite that they conceded very early goal. But they still need miracle to reach next round.
I'm a bit surprised that Atletico won against Borussia. Borussia is hottest team in Europe currently probably, but looks that Atleti were really angry after humiliation at Dortmund 4:0
Maybe it's not surprise that Monaco lost again, but I didn't expected that they can be so bad to lose against Brugge 4:0. Not the best start of manager career for Henry. And also, I read news that Monaco owner was arrested today...
7300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 06, 2018, 06:58:35 PM
WTF is going on? Crvena Zvezda is leading 2:0 against Liverpool at halftime. What did happened. I didn't planned to watch this match, but I will have to watch second half, it should interesting. Crvena Zvezda can reach historic victory, or maybe Liverpool will make comeback Cheesy
