7281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019? on: November 23, 2018, 08:51:44 AM
There will be an improvement for most of the upcoming ICOs because SEC will also get involved to it.

I think that someone who wishes to start an ICO without any amount on his pocket won't happen, just like what it did this year. Most of those ICOs are just collecting stuffs without any support and budgeting before they propose those projects to the investors. Corporation ICOs are likely for 2019.

There are still teams that would try to get away from registering themselves, I see them regularly on job sites even hiring CEO for their privacy. I think SEC can't do anything about it which means these regulations may not really affect what lies ahead if a team evades or do not agree with what is in the regulation. Bitcoin itself isn't even regulated but only the exchanges.
What? hiring their own CEO? I think those devs are going to use that hiree for something that they want to be covered.

It means that project is something that people shouldn't invest with if they are just hiring their CEO. A CEO should be the head of the project and from the very start he/she has been there. That's the idea, they can regulate the exchanges if its operating and those coins, they really can't control it.
7282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about new coins? on: November 23, 2018, 08:21:33 AM
I've added few coins few days ago.

It's a good timing to add more coins while the market is in such red. You can have those coins that you think will grow in the future when the bull starts to hit the market again. It's black friday sale like they say so adding new  coins is ideal if you are a holder and wants to have a better portfolio if the market goes lively again.

That's true. I mean, new coins are good to invest in sometimes because their values are low, but they can yield good returns if they find success in the market, especially if they were able to get that it a short amount of time. I think the danger there comes from the process of selecting the right coin to invest in. There are hundreds, if not, thousands of coins in the market already, and day by day, many are adding up to that number, thus, making the selection process even more difficult. Therefore, to know that you are betting on the right coin, you must structure a good selection method, at least, that way, you can be sure to actually get some good returns with a higher probability.
Selecting one good coin is a struggle. If you are aware that many of these low valued new coins can also become a scam anytime.

But that's it, this is like a gamble and you have to trust your intuition base on what you have been researching. You don't just pick a random coin that is very cheap but if you are that type of investor, you are aware of the risk. And if you are lucky enough to have that yolo mindset, you really will reap the profits when it boomed the market.
7283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency replace fiat money? on: November 23, 2018, 08:07:17 AM
It will be able to do it in the future, but certainly not today.
It's true, not for today and it takes time before we all see that crypto's will replace fiat money. The government does need to take a long debate just to pass a law and replace fiat with crypto's. But for us as a community, we can already do it without their permission.
I think that at the moment we have technological barrier that dont let us do it. Also, crypto is too volatile, we need stablecoins
Stablecoins? we have plenty of it, I think what you are telling is about a digitalized fiat.
7284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: why bounty program ended? on: November 23, 2018, 07:45:34 AM
Each campaign specifies a certain budget for bounty in its roadmap usually , and when the ICO is over bounty must go over also if not the number of stakes for every one would get too small since every day there would be newcomers to bounty!
I've seen some bounties never ended just because the ICO has ended.

Go and take a look on the Bounties, you will see some coins that are already listed to an exchange and yet they are still having their bounty program. Yes they have specific budget for the advertising and if it continues then it means that they wanted to gain more impression and traffic from the community.

7287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how does an ico work now with new legal requirements? on: November 23, 2018, 06:56:50 AM
I doubt it that there's new way of operating an ICO. Most of them are still doing the same, if there are compliant only few of them are doing them.
Why you are asking this? do you want to run an ICO now? things are changing if its come to the mindset of people but with operating an ICO, I don't think that there something that changed.
7288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn token except bounty campaign? on: November 23, 2018, 02:21:21 AM
Airdrops if you want to earn except bounty campaigns.

You can also get hired by the team as a manager or any valuable position that they need. And in return of that, you'll get paid with the token that you wanted. That's how you earn, just like the freelancers who are earning dollars, bitcoins so you can earn almost everything by being like that.
7289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can any analysis predict btc price for the next month? on: November 23, 2018, 02:00:15 AM
Everyone can predict the price of bitcoin for next month and for other months too.

But to dictate the correct and right price of bitcoin is impossible. It's just about the estimation that these predictors are telling but they are not going to tell you what's the exact price of bitcoin by that time. They have no crystal ball and they can't give you what its likely to happen by that time, smart guessing that's it.
7290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Are The Bears? on: November 23, 2018, 01:44:05 AM
Bears? it's a term for the market

Trading Terms – Bears, Bulls, Hawks, And Doves

And those people that wants more bears are the investors who wanted to buy during the dip season. It could everyone.
Yes I agree and that is the definition of bears, not bounty hunters or daily traders as the OP says. Perhaps a simple understanding when market conditions continue to deteriorate and become uncertain.

I think the more correct question is, who gets profit in the bear market  Huh Roll Eyes
Everyone still can get profit during the bear market but its rare for small traders.

Such conditions now are debatable but there are more questions that are being generated from day to day. And everyone is making up such questions on their minds about this bear market. Whales do really benefit from this bear market, those who hold tons of coins.
7291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best bounty campaign to join right now on: November 23, 2018, 01:12:46 AM
OP how much you made with trade.io? they have created new token and fork with that coin and its now trade token X.

Looking for the best bounty campaign right now has hard difficulty level and each bounty can be a scam. Check all of thoses bounties on the specific section and check if the project is interesting and if they are really going to pay whom hired a good manager.
7292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Altcoins will be a big competitor to Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2018, 12:51:12 AM
Altcoins that are better than bitcoin in several ways?

I don't think that there are altcoins like that. If they are better than bitcoin then it will reflect to their market cap and their price are going to be higher than bitcoin calculating their supply limit and demand. But I haven't seen any big altcoin that can compete bitcoin that way.
7293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can start all over again on: November 22, 2018, 02:26:21 PM
Yes we can start all over again if we fell into losses.

But there are those people that needs a helping hand to start all over again and there are those people that can start again. They are taking time of appreciating their losses and accepting it. That's why they are caged to that feeling of loss for a very long duration.

7295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Incapacitated right now and want to sell off all my asset. on: November 22, 2018, 12:40:28 PM
If you have no choice of trading your assets off exchanges then do it.

But if you have any other possible solution to sustain the money that you need and you can keep your crypto assets, do it. Base on the story of OP, he's in pain right now. I don't have an idea on what he is going through but its always financial matters that let us sell most of our crypto's.
7296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Attention! Panic sale!!! on: November 22, 2018, 12:15:15 PM
Panic is unstopable but you can hold the coin by brave heart
Panicking can be controlled if you already been to that.

And you understood the consequences of panicking and as a resolution you'll get to know more about holding. This panic sale is only for those people that can't hold on anymore but as holder, you have two choice and that is to hold while buying those on sale coins.
7297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be deceived... on: November 22, 2018, 11:05:24 AM
They don't understand that patience what should comes first.

Almost everybody tend to think that there's no more hope for the market to recover. All they think is about the losses that they got right now. It's very likely for everyone to recover in the future but if they will have that negative mindset and let themselves deceive by those FUDs, they'll never excel and proceed to the next stage.
I hope they would also get some opinions from pioneers here in crypto, I mean, those who have experienced a major market downfall way back 2013. They should get some encouragements from those early people who were there from the beginning up 'til now.
I'm not yet into crypto by that year but by just looking at those suggestions by the pioneers, you'll hear them say that this crash is nothing.

Encouragement is what everyone should have but it isn't going to the way that we want. Others are going the opposite way because they all put their attention to the losses but if they are about to see the lighter and good side of it, they'll understand why we are saying such encouraging words.
7298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make up for the huge loss. on: November 22, 2018, 10:37:38 AM
I'll get it through trading and if its not possible for me to cover all of those losses, then I'll go with my plan of accumulating.

This is about the accumulation of more coins, bitcoin, eth, name other coins that you are wanting. Do something to recover your losses or counter it by getting more of it. Buy and hold is still recommended all of the time, whether you are in loss or profit.
7299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have a backup plan? Suggestions please on: November 22, 2018, 10:08:39 AM
Do you keep a backup plan?
Yes, I do always have my back up plan if my crypto investments are going to be rekt but it will take forever before that happens. Don't you believe that crypto is the future?
How do you manage when things go down in crypto?
I'm thinking of the good things that crypto gave to me especially those times when the market was ATH. I bought many things with it and that taught me a lot of lessons that this market is going to have the full blast and in opposite it can also give me temporary disappointment.
7300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The BTC crash is good news for Altcoins on: November 22, 2018, 09:41:36 AM
I do not believe in altcoin any more, so I'm not too keen on them, so maybe I'll give up on them now.
I'm a bitcoin holder and do hold some alt coins.

I put more money to bitcoin obviously but I've got some spare money for diversifying with altcoins. You may give up if you think that its no longer on your side and you can just stick to bitcoin which is the best method for everybody who wants to have a better status during this bear market.
