7281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any contests for predicting the price of coins? on: July 19, 2021, 08:45:37 PM
In the Speculation section, I've seen some competition about the price prediction of bitcoin. I just don't know if there are still some that are remaining.
There probably are some exchanges that have this type of contest and with what I've seen before, it happens for those new exchanges that are starting to gather more traders on their platform.
You need to take some time looking for them and for the list of exchanges, you can check the coinmarketcap list.
7282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why the hate on binance exchange on: July 19, 2021, 07:50:02 PM
Is there any tangible reason why binance exchange is been hunted? It seems they just hate success or what? Anyways no matter what they try CZ is a determined fellow, that's why binance made it this far, it's my best exchange and won't be changing any time soon
Are you pertaining to the governments that have been banning them? There's a basis for that hunt. There is some compliance needed and then they didn't follow what's needed to be followed. But there's also a reason that these regulators don't like to see Binance thrive in their jurisdictions. That is because they still see the negative side of cryptocurrencies that have been only seen before. But now that it is on the mainstream, they still see that bad side despite many change have been done by the people who have been using it.
7283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Small Love Potion - undervalued NFT tagged token on: July 19, 2021, 06:56:33 PM
I am not sure about such investments, NFT for gaming is just hype now, but this sphere is not a limit for Non-Fungible Tokens. It is better, to my mind, to look for projects where NFTs are used for documents and data but not for just entertainment.
But, on the other hand, I can be mistaken as we don’t know the duration of this hype so if you can earn now then try.
I'm having that feeling too but while the hype is there, I'm happy to have been with the hype and aware of it. I've managed to earn already and got my capital back. What I don't like about this game lately is their trouble with the game, the lag, and the server that can't be fixed immediately. About your opinion that NFT should be just documents and data. I think that's a different form that no one will buy on unless those data and documents you're telling are very rare and got some value to go up. But through NFT games, play to earn, this gave some good style of making the project alive and that's why it's being on hype and hopefully if the hype goes down, the game will continue and its token will be tradable in many exchanges.
7284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 19, 2021, 06:16:23 PM
In my opinion the gambling addiction signs is when the gambler lose the sum of money he has set for gambling and try to get it back with his saving money and in most cases end up losing them i think that gamblers need to have some kind of self control and see the gambling as some sort of fun activity or a hobby which will make it easier for them to adapt in case of a loss.
And there are those instances that the gambler has to sell whatever he has in his possession when he also loses his savings. It happens for real and happened many times which I've read for different people. You gamble with any amount that you have no problem to spend because if you've been gambling and you bet on high amounts which you think that you can recover afterwards, you're unsure if there's really a possible chance that you can recover it later when you have no capital left anymore on your pocket and it will push you to do other things that you don't like just for that recovery.
7285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen to DAI if Tether collapses? on: July 19, 2021, 05:33:35 PM
It's this logic, some stable coins remained stable for a long time while a very few stable coins including a few old ones didn't stay stable and their value dropped a lot. That's the same with Tether if it collapses then the other stable coins will remain as they are different stable coins.
Just so you know, as mentioned at the top that DAI is decentralized and it's utterly different from USDT which has a central authority that manages it.
7286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 19, 2021, 04:45:00 PM
He can still perform well, there is no doubt with that, and as you see with those training videos that have been spread online. He's still at his shape and if there are any changes those are just minimal for his boxing career. But there's no question that he's still going to perform well whether he lose or win for this upcoming match against Spence, we're sure that he's going to give all of his best. He don't want to make the same mistakes as he did before and he's an experience guy. He won't throw himself into a match if he knows that he's not going to perform very well.

Have you seen the odds that bookmakers put up for this match? Bets on Pacquiao's victory are accepted with odds of 5.2, which means that few people believe in such an outcome. By the way, we must take into account that many fans bet on him simply because they love and believe in him, bookmakers take this into account, which means Pacquiao's real chances are even less.
I haven't, what bookmaker is that? What you said is true, that's what his fans are going to do. Bet for him regardless of the odds are, that's the usual thing that we'll do. But let's all wait until the fight night comes and for sure the odds will change as the day approaches for the fight.
There are many things that still can happen during that period and that's why some will change their minds if they see the odds. But for fans like me, so far I'll stick with my decision.
7287  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Ronin Wallet on: July 19, 2021, 12:06:35 PM
I have seen this in many Axie groups that sadly, too many have become a victim of this. What the thing is that those people that got hacked have zero knowledge about cryptocurrencies and how to manage their wallets and seeds and downloading the official wallet/app from the developers. And they just search it on Google and those ads, the scam ronin wallet appears to be on top. There is also a common scam that happens in the discord channel of Axie that whenever is asking for a certain question, the scammer portrays as the developer and support would certainly ask for the seed phrase. Too sad that those people have shared it when the scam was already done.

7288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 19, 2021, 10:29:22 AM
This man name Manny Pacquiao know how to make other income by using his talent and capability to sustain their family needs and luxuries I think and to funds one of his biggest ambition which is to run in the highest position in a country the presidency. But it seems that the odds favor to him today is quite small than the odds of betting of his past fight maybe its because he is much older to consider but who knows that this man could still perform well. I bet that the fan of Manny Pacquiao is excited for this.

7289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking on: July 19, 2021, 09:04:16 AM
I would rather choose a better coin to stake than Cake. Yeah, it shows that much return for your investment but the post above me is a valid question that you must consider upon putting that numbers on this coin. Well, a great reminder has always been said that you should only invest what you afford to lose and do not be too caught by the numbers it shows and you have to wait for that long until your projection happens or that estimation that you've come up with comes into reality. But you know, there's a lot of things that can happen within the period of your waiting as you consider it as your 'passive income'.
7290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy some low cap coins on: July 19, 2021, 08:00:22 AM
Those are the best and low cap coins? I don't see that most of them having low cap coins as I'm familiar with most of them. If your basis of buying a new coin is on its low market cap, that's quite good but those that you've mentioned, they're not really low market cap coins.
They're even known by majority of the altcoins holder and if you want to buy some low cap coins, you should choose better because they don't fall on that category. Maybe those coins that you've mentioned are what's currently in your portfolio?

Some are really giving their suggestions because it is in their portfolio and they wanted to promote in a subtle way. I do agree that most of the alts he mentioned are really not low cap coins. It is up to the user if he will follow such suggestion or not. It is your own money, so you have all the freedom to choose which project you want to invest with.
Yes, it is our money but it's better if he can voice out why he thinks those coins are good. Not just going to drop the coins and say nothing upon suggesting what people should buy. It is already misleading that he said that they are low cap coins but when a newbie checks it out, what he can think of it? the guy didn't even gave a word why people should choose those coins and why he said that they're low cap coins but in reality, they're considered as one of the most common coins in the altcoins market.

7292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Convince me that bounties paying in anything other than Bitcoin are worth it on: July 18, 2021, 10:57:09 PM
I want to know how much you guys are earning with these bounties that offer "stakes" for doing certain tasks because I am not convinced that they are legitimate. Here is why I think that. Lets say you did a signature campaign paying in their coin that is currently worth nothing but you put in hours of work to get this token with the anticipation that it might be worth something at some point. However as soon as it is worth something all the other participants in that signature campaign will be thinking the same thing. Withdraw. That then causes a dump effect on the token and you are back to it being worthless again.

I am 100% sure that most bounties today have the same teams behind them and they continue to do the same process each time in an attempt of being successful once out of the million times they have tried before. In modern times we have become accustomed to minimum wages or at least fair wages but you guys are doing work for nothing at the time of completing your work on the promise that they will be worth something down the line. Would you work for a company in the fiat world if they promised you to give you shares in their company without any guarantee that they would be successful?

I just do not understand why people would want to work for free without any guarantees at all. If you are really unlucky you could spend 1000s of hours doing work for these bounties and profit nothing. I am interested in hearing about your experience with these bounties and how much you profit when it comes to withdrawing the tokens.
Bounties don't have a guarantee payment and they offer stake based actually on the budget that they've set. So, it's not actually a share from the project that you're going to join but it's the stake coming from the whole amount that they put for that particular bounty. As you see, most of them have allocation for specific bounties and how much is the percentage of its share on it. And the stake will rely on that percentage being allocated to that particular bounty like social media/signature campaign. Bounties are not actual work, they're just incentives and you only do that when you have spare time to participate. You don't wholly rely your source of living on it and that's why you don't expect a lot from it.

That's sad if there were lives taken by this scam. There's already a thread on our local about this scam and everyone has said that it's a scam.
Although at first I've never heard of such but usually if there are investments like this, it should have been given a warning and notice everyone who's interested on this.
Because of having not that much education towards investing, these scammers are taking advantage of those people that think it will be the one to give them good life without realizing that they're a scam.
7294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 18, 2021, 04:59:16 PM
I have heard of such stories in the past from fellow gamblers and former gamblers when I was in church before and our pastor talked about gambling. Anyway based on those stories I have heard from testimonials from other people, what attracts them to continue pouring money in the game is when they win and they were able to win so much that they continue to play and they do not have the urge to stop and gamble for another day. It is sad if you think about it.
When you savor winning and with amounts that you can't believe, that's going to keep you continuously in gambling. Those testimonials that you've heard, they really were addicted gamblers and good thing that they've found the help from the church that you attend and it helped them to relax their minds and made them realize that it's a bad habit that there's no one that can stop them. And the mindset that they have is to keep on winning since they've already have felt the joy of winning and the amount of money that they can get from it.
7295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will axie infinity dominate blockchain games? on: July 18, 2021, 03:52:33 PM
right now the play2earn axie infinity is one of the most play games, and day by day the community and axie is getting bigger, anyone here plays this game? what do you think about the future of this game, I'm not trying to advertise the game just want to know your views regarding one of nft games that are in the market, how about the SLP and axs is there a chance to go down?
I do play the game. So far, I've managed to get my initial investment and next would be pure profit. I'm still in the middle of it but since I've already taken my capital, I'm good on it and looking forward for the betterment of the server as the game is good and hopefully that the economy of it is sustainable as there will be more to the game other the game itself that has two ways to play, arena and adventure. I'm waiting for their formal announcement of the other featured game of Axie Infinity including the land ownership and other more.
7296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 18, 2021, 02:26:48 PM
An intense match, 1st quarter taken by Suns and then the rest of the quarters being dominated by the Bucks. No debate for both fans of these two great teams. But who's waiting to see Giannis succeed on this finals and take his first ever championship ring? Well, both Antetokoumpo brothers(Kostas) will win a championship if the Bucks will take the game 6. Although it's not yet finished and Suns can still win the game 6. I'm just expecting the most possible scene that might happen for the next game but we all want to see game 7 too though.

As for the entertainment part of it, It's more enjoyable to see the series extend up to
game 7 but for sure Bucks will try everything to take this at home,.

A very first title for Giannis and a sweet one for the Bucks if they'll managed to win it at home,
the money that they've paid Giannis will be paid off if they get this title this season.

Too early to say but this series is more interesting compared to those past title match!
It's not that early anymore, the game 6 is approaching and it could be the last game of the season or if not then another last game remains, the game 7.
So I don't think that it's too early to say. It's either 1 game left or 2 more games left and that's not a lot of games anymore to wait because the series is about to end and we're going to see the champion of this season and we're moving on again to the next season whereas, there will be more of roster changes again.

Coinmarketcap = Small Love Potion
Coingecko = Smooth Love Potion
But whichever it is as long as it's SLP, those who have bought the token earlier than it's posted and before the game went on hype. You're all the winners guys because you've seen how cheap it was before and when it became played and invested by many people, the price not just for SLP but also for AXS has increased dramatically.
7299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if Bitcoin hits $1m in the future? on: July 18, 2021, 07:11:37 AM
I will regret why I have not putted all my bank fiat, land a, Gold and extra money into Bitcoin.
You will always feel that regret at the end and you won't do that if you see bitcoin's price ranging from $10k-$30k. Because you won't feel that it's going to be up soon and the price will rise as much as it can until it finally reaches the most awaited price of $1M in the future. That's why as we're just discussing right now, you won't feel that there's a need for it to buy while it's cheaper than the price being tackled.

1 million is possible but Holding is so difficult. Market situation always differ. So no one can exactly know, what will happen tomorrow.
It's easy to hold but there would always be the temptation of selling whenever the prices goes on high.

Well, those who want to follow Manny Pacquiao's social media on what's he going on will perhaps see his Facebook account, he is very active there.
In this post on his social media, [ https://www.facebook.com/MannyPacquiao/posts/351408703023297 ], his determination and focus on trading will give him a best practice, and look at his trainer there [Buboy] it looks like his hand was swollen during their rehearsal.
I know both fighters here are both aggressive and I can not wait to see their fight.
Thanks!
Well, it's all about his PR team that manages to do all of those posts and answers to the queries from the other career that he got. The most important thing is that we're pretty sure that he manage to focus on his training as this is the fight that everyone is waiting for and also for him. It's such a big fight to bend his focus into other things and for sure that we're going to watch a good match from these two. Spence is a strong opponent and I've seen a video that he managed to ask Manny a fight after he has won a match back then, exactly on the same ring they stand on.
