7310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: July 31, 2017, 08:42:38 AM
This coin brings that what Bitcoin was needed which is big block faster and cheaper transaction. Bitcoin core devs will implement segwit but I don't think we need it. We have already bunch of tokens/coins with segwit and a lot of other features and there is few new coins with all you need to build on it and much more coming. That is why Bitcoin should stay what it was only with few improvements and not the paradigm change. Firstly I was thinking that miners are greedy and that is why they want Bitcoin Cash but with second look I see that maybe thae are right. They follow Satoshi idea and Dev team not.
7311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: REX (Real Estate Revolution) - SIGNATURE & Translation CAMPAIGN ! on: July 28, 2017, 01:48:48 PM
When bounty will be distributed?

After the ICO. We will try to Sent out As soon as possible.

Most likely couple of weeks after the ICO.

When ICO starts and ends? I can't find this info and this should be easy visible on REX page. I am confused with this because I was sure token sale is ended.

7313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinstarter.com (scam?) on: July 27, 2017, 10:09:25 PM
Maybe not scam but if you are not interested in starting a ICO or crowdfunding this is not for you. As for today you have to go stage 5 which means sart new ICO to move tokens to Waves wallet.
Coinstarter:
Wallets are special places where your tokens live. Every ICO you support, will create it's own wallet. You'll see the tokens you have received. You'll also see as your tokens are getting ready to move to your blockchain wallet. When the project reaches Stage 5 is when your tokens are ready to move to your blockchain wallet.

Stage 1 - Angel Round
Projects without proven track record must start an Angel Round. After the Angel Round they can start a Series A if they succeed at delivering their promises. Angel rounds are capped at $100k worth of Bitcoin. After an Angel Round the company may proceed to Stage 2 or Stage 5.

Stage 2 - Series A
Projects that deliver a product and has a promise to grow, will be able to start a Series A.
Existing companies with a proven track record may be able to start a Series A without an Angel round. After Stage 2 the company may proceed to Stage 3 or Stage 5.

Stage 3 - Series B
If the the company is succeeding but needs more cash in order to achieve their required growth rate they may start a Series B. After Stage 3 the company may proceed to Stage 4 or Stage 5.

Stage 4 - Series C
This is an optional stage that may needed for some companies.

Stage 5 - Coin released to the public.
7314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS ICO SCAM 👺👺👺 Wow! Can you believe this? 👺👺👺 on: July 27, 2017, 08:22:14 PM
I think this is great crypto idea. Dev team behind this coin is great. They were involved in few other project like Steemit which is no scam for sure. I suggest all people using social media to take close look at Steemit because it pays really good for things you do for free on Facebook or YouTube. I don't know much about EOS code and I haven't seen any good articles in media about development. All cryptos are open source and the idea is to share and develop. I think there is no problem if they took what's best from other open source projects and WILL ADD new things.

Longest ICO and a lot of money cumulated worries me and that is why I haven't invested but I think that price will rise. People involved in this project are known and they won't run with money but you can never know and time will tell (there will be a lot of money to run with).

This big ICO and a bunch of coins/tokens will shoot EOS at first place as it goes of market cap.

If you have any proof that EOS code is cloned, brings nothing new and developers lie about future plans please share.
7315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: July 25, 2017, 11:35:18 PM
Works good but need development for sure. I have downloaded and installed without problems. This will take time to work fast as youtube. There is no menu, should be loading faster and navigation should be improved. My few first thoughts. I am happy to see a working product. This is always good.
7316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] UPDATED Monkey Capital - A Decentralised Hedge Fund - OFFICIAL THREAD on: July 25, 2017, 11:06:43 PM

not a milion anymore

0.17468800 BTC (-34.37%)

7319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: July 25, 2017, 07:46:22 PM
It will have value because not all people want segwit, or to be forced to use segwit for a small gain in overall tps.

Just watch it.

I don't blame them, segwit converts Bitcoin from a de-centralized crypto into a potentially centralized crypto, with off chain transactions. This is a huge and radical change. This is not technical advance, but paradigm change, it changes the core value of Bitcoin. For increasing capacity, having bigger or faster blocks is perfectly fine and simple change. Segwit is not needed at all for capacity increase.

it may be too soon but they are not wrong.

People don't know what segwit is. Sorry but I am sure that 90% of people on earth don't know that. We only need blocksize change and faster, cheaper transaction. Segwit is not needed in Bitcoin. For Dapps and other things we have other coins and assets and not one but few in ongoing development and few other incoming in few months with all features we can only think of. That is why bitcoin should stay only cryptocurrency seen as a store of value with improved blazing fast and cheap transactions that's all''.
