7321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To invest in an ICO, Reviewing of the team behind is necessary? on: October 21, 2018, 02:35:23 AM
I think not most of ICOs to hide identities of their team members. There are some ICOs showing the team identities, commonly they enclose the link of their linkedin accounts and social media.

If you ask me about "review the team info is necessary or not", I strongly say that it is very necessary. For me, it is the most crucial factor that determine the success of an ICO. A quality of team members will lead to the quality of project management and its ideas + plans of the future achievement.

Note: Never invest in ICOs with unclear or lack information of the teams. It is like putting your money in very risky places. Finally you will get nothing and lose your money forever.

7323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You've earned tons of tokens, NOW WHAT? on: October 19, 2018, 11:59:02 PM
~snip~
So, what do you do with your numerous tokens? Do you convert them to fiat or Hodl the ones you can?

I prefer convert them to Fiat when the prices rise. Or sell some of them to buy another coins. Commonly, I sell my bounty tokens to buy top 20 altcoins on coinmarketcap. I think it is the best way to keep investment in cryptocurrency.
7324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To invest or help with marketing? on: October 19, 2018, 11:55:00 PM
Basically, do both is better. Investing in an ICO while supporting its marketing will give us more benefits. We also can contribute more to make the ICO successful. I think many people become bounty hunters while they are investing in an ICO. I joined several discussion about this, and I saw many of them do both bounty and investment.
7325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] [BOUNTY] CNOTE Music - Music Incentive Network on: October 19, 2018, 11:47:35 PM
There many parts that you should add in this thread, man. Roadmap, team info, exchange plan, the use of CNote tokens, and more detail description of CNote tokens. I know those may be written in whitepaper but I think those are the basic information of a project that should be put on ANN thread.
7326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: ✅✅✅ [ANN][BOUNTY]Tartaria - Social project on: October 18, 2018, 05:18:20 AM
Hi team.. I think you are better to update some information in this thread regularly. Some people said that they visited here but looks a little update information. I see on official site, many great progress of Tartaria project, let them know about it. And add a spreadsheet for the list of participants + reward calculation, I think it is needed during bounty program. Good luck for Tartaria..    Smiley
7327  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: ✅✅✅ [ANN][BOUNTY] Tartaria - Proyek Sosial on: October 18, 2018, 05:13:54 AM

Bountynya masih berlangsung, kalo mau join agan sebaiknya kontak timnya via telegram.

Untuk volume penjualan token GRIF, saya kira cukup bagus volumenya. Dan penjualannya cukup aktif setiap harinya. Agan coba cek history penjualannya di sana.
7328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of the Altcoin in two years on: October 18, 2018, 05:06:58 AM
Quote
This will change after about 2 years as the time in most altcoin's roadmap is after 2 years of product launch, then the Altcoin will actually return to real value.

However, there is no guarantee for the returning of the real value after 2 years (I think you mean ICO price). Moreover, If you think it will go to the moon. Basically, everything is possible, after two years, a chance of the raise of values may be higher but you must remember that it is not applied for all coins / tokens. There are some tokens or coins that may not survive, they become dead coins / tokens. So, you must be very selective and careful to choose coins to hold for two years.

Your Topic Title: There is no need to panic!!!!!

The blockchain technology at this stage can be compared to the internet at its early stages, where mass adoption was also an issue. The internet was actually invented in 1969 but didn't get adopted until the 1990s, even then it wasn't accessible to everybody. But it has now become a necessity in every industry and for everybody worldwide.
The blockchain technology is at its infancy stage and it is already making innovations in different industries. Though there are a lot of restrictions against it presently and some nations do not want to adopt it, but it is not a technology that can be stopped and it will surely gain mass adoption with time.

Firstly, I want to comment about your Topic Tittle. In my opinion, it does not reflect the core issues that you have wrote on the body of the thread. I suggest you to revise it..

What is your opinion about the blockchain technology?

The blockchain technology has implemented in many sectors. And I predict in the near future, it will be adopted massively around the world.
Here are some companies that proving the advantages of technology blockchain so far:
1. American Express
2. Cisco Systems
3. Walmart
4. Boeing
5. IBM
6. Microsoft
7. Coca-Cola
8. Merck
9. McDonald's

7330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After ICO on: October 17, 2018, 11:15:19 AM
I think this is a frequently asked question, I often saw such kind of the question. Yes, it is a bad fact that always happens after an ICO coin has listed on exchanges. This is a complicated problem since many parties that cause the significant price reduction. I am thinking about the limit of the lowest token price on exchanges. If it can be applied in all exchanges, we won't see a token with no price. But it seems impossible to apply because most of cryptocurrencies are decentralized and no one can control the prices, only the demand on market that influences the prices.
7331  Other / Meta / Re: Unfair to Jr.Members on: October 17, 2018, 10:59:54 AM

Sometimes to have a better achievement, we must do extreme changes.
I believe the requirement for 1 merit to be a Junior rank is fair for everyone.
Like @cryptovigi said all ranks rise 1 merit right now.

Quote

jr. member - 1 merit,
member - 11 merits,
full member - 101 merits,
senior member - 251 merits,
hero member - 501 merits,
legendary - 1001 merits

Basically, If we want to try improving our selves, I think it is not difficult to make qualities posts. And 1 Merit is not difficult to get If we do many efforts.

To remember:
Before the implementation of the new regulation, I am sure Theymos realize a big problem related to spam posts. I think Theymos applied it based on many considerations. And applying the regulation is the best way to solve it.
7332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO market statistics. September 2018. on: October 16, 2018, 06:31:42 AM
The amount of funds raised always decrease from month to month. What does it mean? It means the trust of people to invest in ICOs is getting worst. I am afraid that they have another way to invest in crypto. In my view, because of many failed ICOs and scam ICOs, the investors prefer to buy coins that have listed on exchanges. I am worried if the investors begin to leave ICOs gradually.
7333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more Scam projects on: October 16, 2018, 05:41:35 AM
You are right. That's a serious problem for investors or bounty hunters. Scam projects can't be stopped but we can minimize or avoid them. I suggest to do own research and more selective in choosing an ICO. Although no guarantees to avoid a scam ICO, at least the two ways possibly to minimize it.
7334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A suggestion for ICO promoters and bounty managers on: October 16, 2018, 05:15:16 AM
Being a member of Bitcointalk for more than 6 years, I am quite a bit bothered by what happening in the bounty section for the past few months.
~snip~

I have a few suggestions to resolve some of the issues, before the issues go out of hand.

1. There should be a requirement that if anyone want to post an ANN in Bitcointalk, he must deposit 0.1% of the total amount (of the softcap) in an escrow account. For example, if a project is planning to raise $50,000,000 from the investors, then before creating the ANN thread the promoters must deposit $50,000 in either BTC or ETH to an escrow account held by the Bitcointalk staff. If the soft-cap is smaller, like $500,000 then the escrow amount should be 0.1% of that, i.e $500. If the promoters vanish, then this amount should be forfeited. Also, if the promoters go back on their promises once the tokens are listed, then this escrow amount should be frozen and may be (partially) released only if they achieve the objectives which they had promised earlier.

2. There should be a list of approved bounty managers and those outside this list should not be allowed to act in this role. There are a lot of trusted bounty managers here, like Yahoo62278 and Lutpin. I don't think that newbs should be given priority over them.

3. In order to participate in a bounty campaign, it should be mandatory for all the users to post their ETH address in the "Location" field in the profile. I have noticed a large number of spammers using someone else's BTT account and their own ETH address to enroll in to social media bounties. This step will put and end to the practise and will weed out the spammers.

4. All the bounty campaign participants must be carefully screened before the payout. In order to prevent token dumping, a few steps can be taken. Since the bounty reward is 1% to 3% of the total amount, the promoters themselves can purchase this portion from the exchanges. Or they can make the bounty payments in BTC/ETH. There should also be a condition that the promoters should hold on to 90% of their tokens for at least 12 months. (Because I have noticed that it is the promoters who do dumping in the vast majority of the cases, and they blame it on the bounty hunters).

5. KYC must be mandatory for ICO promoters and bounty campaign managers (unless they are on level 2 DT). If this is done, then the scammers won't be able to set up multiple fake ICOs.

~snip~

I am with you brother, I really agree with your suggestions above.

1. Yes, it will be safer if they do deposit in an escrow account firstly, 0.1% of the total amount (of the softcap) is a good number I think.
2. Will the list of the trusted bounty managers posted on bounty section, brother? If it can be listed there, It is the right way, It can remind all parties related to bounty activities about the experienced bounty managers with good track records.
3. Yes, that's nice idea. It can be more simple if all participants put their ETH address on their profile. So bounty managers will note it.
4. Yeah, I don't understand why they blame the bounty hunters whereas It is a hard thing to do by bounty hunters.
5. I have been waiting so long to see the implementation of this idea. KYC must be applied for promoters, developers, bounty managers, or all the team members of an ICO if it is possible. I think it can be one of the ways to minimize the scam ICO projects.

7338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A Question To All Signature Bounty Hunters! on: October 14, 2018, 01:53:53 AM
~snip~
I can not agree with point number 1. I understand your way of thinking - high-ranked users will take more stakes and for users with low-rank will stay only dust, right? However, on the other hand, the presence of many experienced users means that the project is more reliable and is more likely to be succeed and the rewards paid out.
Yeah, I know it very well, I ever experienced it. Joining a reliable bounty with many participants in higher ranks result a very little amount, except if I have a rank like yours (Hero). You are right, many experienced participants means it is a trusted bounty, but I don't think we just determine the success of an ICO only from that points, right? A little experienced participants doesn't mean it is not trusted ICO and won't be successful at the end. I saw some ICOs can be successful although the participants in its signature bounty are not many senior, hero, and legendary ranks.
7339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A Question To All Signature Bounty Hunters! on: October 14, 2018, 01:32:21 AM
Your rank is the same with my rank, Junior rank will be hard to get a good amount through signature bounty. But you can maximize the chance with some ways. In this case, to get a suitable signature bounty that fit for you, you should do many research on bounty section. Choose the most potential signature bounty there. Below is my own ways:

1. Don't choose a signature bounty that has followed by many senior, hero, and legendary ranks.
2. Don't chose a signature bounty that almost ends. It is just waste your time to join.
3. Don't choose a signature bounty with too long bounty period.
4. Choose a signature bounty with the differences of the stake gaps are not too far.

Other strategies to choose a signature bounty, you can find here: https://angeloncrypto.com/ico-signature-bounty-campaigns-c7a8ee7c5236
7340  Other / Meta / Re: Bounty Manager as a good Merit source! on: October 12, 2018, 09:41:47 AM
I've got a better idea - ban bounties on the forum!

It is not a wise decision. We have a problem with the bounty managers, not with the bounties. I think the best option is to limit the merit activities on bounty managers.
