7341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best (no)betting esports site on: August 13, 2019, 12:06:16 PM
In my opinion, there is no single best esports betting website. Instead, certain sites tend to offer better odds for certain markets when compared to others. Rankings don't matter much in this aspect.

Unfortunately we don't offer lines on eSports events anymore, but personally I live in hope that we'll be able to get them back on site someday (I'm a big eSports fan myself)
Wow. That sucks. Never knew that you guys got rid of esports lines. This is a step backwards if you ask me. I hope you guys can reconsider adding them back in the near future.

With that kind of idea, I could brag with 1 ripple bet, winning another 1 ripple coin  Grin  Because "Any amount of profit is profit at the end of the day."

P.S. Sorry for my bad English, as it is not my native tongue.
Your english is absolutely fine. You are clearly from a minority who think that betting with big multipliers and higher risk is better than betting with smaller multipliers and low risk which is why many including me disagree with you.

The best multiplier in my opinion is anything close to x2 odds(Not too low or high from 2.0). Honestly, I would be happy that I earned any amount of profit since gamblers lose almost always majority of the time. ROI is what matters at the end of the day.

Interesting stuff op. Checked your link in a secure manner and I liked what I saw. This entire Satoshi mystery will remain as one of the greatest unsolved mysteries of all time probably surpassing the bermuda triangle mystery in popularity levels.

You need to edit the title of this topic though(Bitcoin). Its good seeing more and more BTC related entertainment these days.

I was trying to say, that when a person gambles with such a huge amount, why play only with 2.02 multiplier. Come on, you are risking with a lot of money, go all-in, make it at least 4x. game.
You do realize that the house edge is a critical factor here, don't you? Winning with a x2.02 multiplier itself is a big deal and its easy to make these statements when your money is not on the line here.

Satisfaction of winning 24k when you bet 8k, is greater than winning 8k when you bet 8k  Cool Grin
Hilarious. Lets change this up. Compare the satisfaction of winning $8K after betting $8K to losing $8K when trying to win a bigger amount with higher risk involved. Any amount of profit is profit at the end of the day.

I am not denying the good performance of English team in the world cup. They were good but not better than India and Australia. In the group match beating India was okay looking but beating Australia in the semi was just a fluke. Australia had a bad day and England took advantage of it. Then obviously winning the World cup was the biggest fluke. Everything had to go in their favor.
England beating Australia in the World Cup was definitely not a fluke. They decimated them and Australia could not match up in any area. You do remember India defeating Australia by a comfortable margin too, don't you?

I will be bored if the Test turns out to be an easy win for any of the team so I will hope we see another good Test like the first one. Archer is going to play possibly, Starc will be playing. We are looking forward to a competitive Test match. Those who has strong nerves they will win of course.
My bet is on England or a draw for the 2nd test match. Australia is heavily dependent on Smith currently and I think they might be in trouble if Smith departs early this time around.
7346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 13, 2019, 07:52:58 AM
I thought Gayle played his last ODI match in the 2nd match?
Am not too sure about this news since he basically reversed his retirement decision recently which is why we can't be too sure about these things. He might still have some fuel left in his tank for a couple more matches.

He is easily one of my most favorite cricket players of all time, but he needs to retain his form asap whichever format he continues to play in. West Indies have produced many great hitters over the years, but Gayle is easily the best batsman that they have produced.

They don't really care about it and have not invested a single penny since they prefer FIAT, but they do know what it is thanks to me and its surge in popularity with time. Its simply their opinion and I respect it.

I don't go out of my way to make them use crypto since that isn't the correct route. They will probably invest in BTC once adoption rates grow and once the volatility factor drops with time though.
7348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 12, 2019, 11:43:37 AM
I don't expect anything from WI team as they don't have good players and even not a single player can manage to play on behalf of the team and get runs like Smith for Australia and Shakib for Bangladesh. They even did not choose Pollard for what reason God knows. Lewis has been a consistent player but he had to get a 70-80 run partnership to keep getting runs but he also did not manage to do that. Very poor performance.
Was quite surprised with the omission of Pollard too. The only consistent players in the West Indian team currently are Lewis and Pooran and Gayle seems to be dragging them down due to his poor form these days.

Pollard would have been a better option since he seems to have recovered his form recently. Russell is also a key player who is still recovering from injuries and a player like him could make a big difference in T-20 and ODI formats.

The 2nd test match between Australia and England is starting within 2 days people. This one will be an exciting one in my opinion. England are under heavy pressure since none of their batsmen could perform like Smith did for this team.

I am expecting the reverse this time around. I choose Root and Stokes to score centuries and help England secure a victory here. Lets see what happens.
Nah! I do not expect much from English team. They seems a team who are clueless when pressure is there. The English team was always like this and will be the same.

Winning the WC was just a fluke. If Stokes would not click and if all those decisions were not given in their favor then we would see a different world champion. I will actually blame the two semi final results. India played bad cricket in the first semi and Australia also played the same in their semi. The result was England is the world champion.
I can understand what you are saying here, but I feel like you are under-estimating England a bit too much here. They did beat India, Australia and other big teams in the World Cup quite comfortably if you look back.

They have been known to bounce back after losses which is why I am expecting the same in this 2nd test match. A draw is also a possibility.

In my opinion, I am pretty confident that Bustabit is in the green here and it was simply a smart hack executed by the hacker who is trying to make more money by selling his Bustabit script.

The guy lost 28 freaking BTC which basically cancelled out his previous wins which explains that he was over-confident and greedy and just wanted more and more. He just dug a hole for himself by trying to exploit in the same manner again and again.
7352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 12, 2019, 07:23:44 AM
If I am not wrong, cricket became the no.1 sport in Afghanistan just 10 years ago. It is really surprising, because the Afghanistan national cricket team was formed only in 1995. Until the 1980s, cricket was virtually unknown there and football was the most popular sport. It gained popularity during the 90s and the first decade of 21st century. Also, earlier cricket was confined only to the Pashtun ethnic group (40% of the population). But now every group is playing it, including Tajiks, Hazaras, Uzbeks and Aimaks.
Good to hear. Afghanistan have a ton of problems to tackle which is why them excelling in such major sports is a big plus point for them. I am a fan of SRH personally and was impressed by Rashid Khan and Nabi initially.

After watching them almost defeat several big teams like India and Pakistan in the World Cup, I understood that these guys want to make it big in the world of Cricket. The biggest change that they needed to make was replacing the captain(Now its Rashid) which is a positive one.
7353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 12, 2019, 07:11:35 AM
I had some doubts in T-20 format but not in ODI, despite Indian team doing some experiments with the middle order. But you never rule out Windies team, if there T-20 mindset clicks then they are a destructive team, and that's precisely I want for Last ODI so that we can witness some excellent cricket from both sides, so far this tour is turning out to be boring.
This is a great tournament for bettors who have been exclusively betting on India like me. Toss your bets in an accumulator and choose some smart value bets and you could make a good amount of money quite easily.

I expected more entertainment value from the T-20 tournament though, but Windies messed that up too. Hoping that they provide more entertainment value in the upcoming matches.

300 is not possible and anything above 250 would be a bonus. Till now the partnership is going well 89 runs till now. Hope this also reaches 100+.
300 is totally possible thanks to the awesome partnership between Shreyas and Kohli. I always knew that Shreyas was a great ODI batsman and he proved it today by giving support to Kohli right when he needed it.

Pant disappointed me once again and I think that he might get replaced soon if he continues playing like this. 280-300 seems like the likely target for West Indies at this point.
7355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 11, 2019, 01:48:19 PM
Dhawan seemed to have lost his form thanks to his injury recently which is sad. Cottrell is emerging as one of the best bowlers in the West Indian team and his salute stance is simply awesome. Its up to Kohli and Sharma once again to pile on the runs.

If these guys get going, its game over for West Indies in my opinion. Shreyas is in the 5th position and Pandey isn't playing in this match which is a good change in my opinion.

@Haunebu when did he play against Kohli and Pujara never seen him bowl to those two which match are you referring to?.

It was a 2016 match though it was just a tour game. He is an all rounder and could pose a problem if he is in form against India. Never heard of this guy before, but this article helped me understand his statistics against India.
7357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 11, 2019, 08:22:31 AM
I never understood the politics behind team selection in West Indies. They have filled one of the bowling slots with a part time bowler. His selection is even more surprising because he performed poorly during the recently concluded series against India A. He picked up just 4 wickets in two first-class matches and scored 123 runs in four innings.
This is quite surprising, but I guess they wish to continue experimenting with him for now. He does have a lot of 1st class experience with both the bat and ball and he did prove to be a problem for Pujara and Kohli before.

These 2 guys are clearly the best batsmen in the Indian test lineup which is why they probably chose him for this single reason. Lets see if they made the right call here.
7358  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Why 20% profit in crypto is TERRIBLE. on: August 11, 2019, 08:09:14 AM
Seriously? Almost everyone would be happy with a return of 3-4%. Its all about profit at the end of the day. Small profit is better than no profit at all. Very few traders actually manage to earn huge profits on a regular basis in this extremely volatile market.

Personally, I am a HODLER and I have managed to earn around 1-2% every month through my investments which is small profit, but I am satisfied. Scenarios like the 2017 bull run happen once in a blue moon and you cannot rely on them regularly.

I don't know whether they'll get any television viewership in Zimbabwe. But Bangladesh and Afghanistan are cricket crazy nations, and most of the people there will be glued to the TV set whenever their national teams play. IMO, they should replace Zimbabwe with Nepal for the tri-series. Nepal is another cricket crazy nation in South Asia.
I have always known that Bangladesh was a cricket crazy nation, but never knew that it was the same in Afghanistan too which is quite surprising to me. It makes sense why some amazing players like Rashid and Nabi came from this country.

Bangladesh have gradually improved over the years, but Afghanistan is not far behind. If they continue producing players like the ones I mentioned above, they could overtake Bangladesh in the future.
7360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 11, 2019, 07:35:40 AM
The odds for the game between India and West Indies should be:

India : 1.4
West Indies : 2.3
Rain : 8  Grin

Sportsbooks should start offering these odds since washout matches are very common these days. On a more serious note, I am cheering for India and I am expecting West Indies to not hand them the win very easily today.
