That's plain nuts. I don't know how people could keep using Poloniex after that. Clams has always been a Grade B Shitcoin. Its biggest claim to fame is when John Oliver mocked it because of its name one time in a segment about cryptocurrencies.

Does anybody have any doubt about what's going on here? This project hired a thread bumping service make it appear that there is genuine activity in this thread and interest in this project. Without them, it would be pretty dead. Just another exchange when there's already 100+ to choose from.

I can't say this project is a scam per se, but the people who usually employ this type of service are scammers. Potential investors be warned.

I've found that there's usually a logical, non-conspiratorial reason why my comments get deleted. Double-posting is a big no-no (outside of the WO thread), going off-topic is the #2 reason. Can you post us an example of a comment that was deleted and the thread that it was in?

The Stockholm IP address belongs to the Proton VPN service, which AFAIK is free and anybody around the world can use it. This means it mixes in the good users from the bad, and there's no way to use the IP information as a clue to identify where the hacker is located.


That was iChanger who took and posted the screenshot. It seems like the scammer suddenly wanted to take the first email address out of the equation.

There's no harm in iChanger reporting fraudulent activity on all 3 of the email addresses he received to PayPal.

He also threatened he could do a "chargeback" to his credit card in one of the Telegram screenshots. He should probably consider doing this (if possible) at the risk of damaging his PayPal account standing.



iChanger can also file a fraud report with their bank if they can't chargeback to their credit card (sounds like they used a credit card tho).

I've used it as a currency for several years already. Its already a currency according to the definition of the word. I've never had one problem with doing so legally speaking. Anonymint's most recent ramblings just sound like more conspiracy theory doomsday trollmongering to me.

I strongly advise against investing in this project. While I cannot point to specific evidence that they are a scam, the fact that they hired a bumping service to bump their thread for them is consistent with scammer-like behavior. There are already a hundred exchanges for you to choose from. The market is already oversaturated with exchanges. There is nothing that suggests this project isn't simply another cashgrab and will result in an unfinished project or a zero-volume exchange.

I don't, actually. I simply wonder why Craig can't do the same thing for the general public. If he's Satoshi, it would be incredibly easy to do so. Furthermore, why couldn't he let Gavin verify the signature on his own computer? Even furthermore, if keys don't constitute proof of ownership, like your camp has been saying since Craig bungled his last signature attempt, why did he bother "doing so" for Gavin in the first place?
