You simply cannot time any top. (Traders confident in their own systems may disagree.)
But you can get close enough

I nominate Bob as benevolent dictator of said forum.
I appreciate the confidence, but I can't accept the responsibility, in good faith, without violating my OpSec. Need to politely decline. I'd love to, but Rick and I have concluded, after some discussion about the upcoming parties, that we can't risk involving ourselves with Bitcoin-related meatspace To be honest, running forums is the last thing I want to manage. My soul is crying I feel down... At the same time I understand and respect your decision...

Flat support of the kijun sen kicking in. Lumpy cloud overhead. Bulls would like to see a bounce to regain 200 MA support and $8k+ Bears would like to see breaking of the 50 MA support for continued downward movement towards $7.5k and lower. #dyor 1h #stronghands

but I would guess at least 60-80 with an average of 2 guests each so that would mean at least 210 people.
And average of 2 guests seems a bit too much. Most guys have only one GF/wife. So maybe 1 guest per old hat... One does not simply bring a gf/wife to a strip club. The smart ones would leave them at home You don't bring sand to a beach. You don’t bring beer to Octoberfest

Everyone knows "Bart Pattern", but do you know there is a "Simpsons Patters" in crypto graph analysis ? Anyone ever faced that ?

The cost to set up a DarkCoin masternode was 1,5 mil at the ATH. It's about 10x less now, but still... I guess that's where they got their idea from.

I remember trading DRK when it was about $0.60 and selling it at $1.80 and feeling like a genius. Should have accumulated the 1,000 necessary for node running... Kudos to the artist that slipped in this little easter egg. That's one smart puppy! Don't know if you knew this or not but the BTC is the same character as the Thai bhat (that's where it comes from) -- Thai being the squiggly language on the packaging.

$BTC Pullback Areas
The lowest I see Bitcoin pulling back is the .618 fib ($5404) as any lower would be bearish, IMO
Major confluence w/ previous support/resistance between $6109 to $6814
I'm personally watching for a bounce in this area with major interest near $6400 (VPVR) https://twitter.com/Josh_Rager/status/1136479195394191366/photo/1Note the timescale on this. Just as important as the levels. The major 6200 area could take until November to resolve. Returning to current levels by year end would be very positive. I think 5400 unlikely, but if there is a return to this range, then it will be into 2020 before the uptrend resumes in earnest. 5400-6400 is also less likely to be a long trading range, because halving will be looming by then.

hehe, oops. Never seen the Thai bhat symbol in use anywhere. I just checked out your account... You were around during the time of Satoshi, early miner, caught up in the BFL debacle, #3 most active member... very impressive! Do you have any particular insights you could share about the nature of satoshi, as you "knew" him from his forum posts? Like anything you found out of the ordinary, or that hasn't been discussed before? I'm always interested to learn more about him (her/them). The cost to set up a DarkCoin masternode was 1,5 mil at the ATH. It's about 10x less now, but still... I guess that's where they got their idea from. Yep, that's the one. For the sake of this thread, every coin that's not bitcoin is a shitcoin.* I still have 62 Dash sitting in a wallet I lost the private key to after my laptop got stolen. Yes, I made a backup of the private key. Unfortunately, that backup was on a USB stick in the case of the laptop, which was also stolen. *This also includes all forks that are not BTC

Bitcoin NVT SignalHow it worksWhat is NVT Signal? Standard NVT Ratio is simply the Network Valuation divided by the Transaction Value flowing through the blockchain and then smoothed using a moving average. What Dimitry did was to apply the moving average just to the volatile Transactions component only without smoothing the already stable Network Valuation component.
This produces a much more responsive chart. Responsive enough to use as a trading indicator.
This is probably the first trading indicator to use blockchain data instead of the basic price and volume data coming in from exchanges. As the signal shows, we can expect a deeper correction.
