7341  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I put money in my Bitcoin wallet? on: December 19, 2018, 11:40:45 PM
You should buy bitcoin first with your money in some exchanges like Coinbase check this link https://www.coinbase.com/global# if your country is listed you can buy bitcoin through a bank account or Debit/credit card.

After you buy bitcoin in Coinbase you can receive bitcoin directly to your Coinbase wallet if you want to send bitcoin to other wallets you can follow the guide from Coinbase here How Do I send Digital currency to another wallet?

Let me ask where is your money comes from? From a debit card or bank account? or are you trying to send money as a crypto?
7342  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmain promoting BitDeer is it scam or not? on: December 19, 2018, 10:11:44 PM
One thing I wondered about it was do they allow you to point to a pool of your choosing? If not do you also have to pay the pool fees depending on which one you choose between their options?

They only have 2 option to choose antpool and btc.com so I think you can't modify or put which pool you want to connect, unlike Nicehash that you can mine on other pool and which coin you want it to mine.
7343  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC.com wallet Biggest Scam Warning !! Locked Funds on: December 19, 2018, 09:04:38 PM
Online wallets are not safe 99% like BTC.com and coinbase wallet and I think you are not the only one who experienced this "consigning is disabled" I heard some users from reddit before that they experienced the same thing and I never heard that someone successfully enable the consigning or unlock the wallet.
BTC.com is known for locking users funds based on the post from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1877718.msg18696900#msg18696900

The best thing you can do now is to explain what happens to your wallet and ask them another way to verify that you own that wallet like sending documents just to verify that you own the wallet or try to request contacting the email linked to your wallet and hope that they could send a link for enabling consigning or a link to unlock your wallet so that you can be able to send bitcoin again.

If ever you can able to send bitcoin and fix don't waste your time and transfer your bitcoin to other wallets where you have full control over your funds.
I suggest you Electrum wallet just make sure you can save the seed phrase to the safe place where you can save it for a long time and use it when you need it to recover your wallet.
7344  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmain promoting BitDeer is it scam or not? on: December 19, 2018, 07:24:16 PM
Potato Chips is right my calculation is wrong it should be 0.13xHashratexDay since I choose $21 which is 30Th/s the calculation must be this 0.13x30=3.9 and then 3.9x30=117+$21=$138 in total.

It means that the maintenance fee will cost you more than the price of hashrate or plan. However, they already sold almost all plan and only remaining plan right now is $7 10th/s per 30days and $3.50 for 10Th/s in 30days and they also offer $1(BCH mining) for 100TH/s in 30 days which you can think that  this is too cheap but if you try to start buying the plan you will see in total maintenance fee as the additional fee when you buy the hash power and you will say it's too expensive.

Well, I don't have too much savings to invest more in other plan but let me take the $7 plan and only pay 10 days maintenance fee because they offer that the remaining days can be paid later. So in total of $20 let's hope that they are not scam and give us a good profit after a month.
7345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have been hacked... what now? on: December 19, 2018, 05:55:57 PM
I also did scan my pc with malwarebytes and eset both came out clean. will post previous bullguard logs when i come home. I did change my bank passwords, and setup 2fa when setting up new payments.

If the hacker could make a fake document like a passport and could pretend as you there is a big chance that your bank account is in danger.

To be safe it is better to transfer your money to your new bank account because they can request on the bank and use your documents to take your saving out from the bank and do the same in your PayPal account.

You already have been infected on the first time before you use a paid antivirus which I think the hacker already retrieve all files from your computer so if you save your important files in your PC without updated antivirus there is a big chance that they already have the important documents that they can use it for verification or to prove that they own your bank or paypal account.

About your XRP like the above said your ledger nano might be pre-seeded and someone could recover it to other wallets and transfer it to a new wallet.
7346  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have been hacked... what now? on: December 19, 2018, 05:16:29 PM
According to some reviews about the BullGuard AV it has a poor or low score on malware protection it means that your PC still infected even you are using antivirus with BullGuard.

I hope that you can use a better AV like Kaspersky I'm not promoting it but I  use it for how many years and save my PC for many malware and viruses.

For now, there is no way to recover your lost XRP the only way you can do now is to make sure your PC is clean or format your whole PC but you can't save your files from your PC as you need to install a Clean OS.
7347  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer Alert: Atomic Wallet on: December 19, 2018, 04:59:09 PM
Have you tried to recover your wallet from other derivation paths with electrum?

Try to contact them with other contacts check the links below.

Here is the list of contacts that I found from their website.

Then wait for their response. If they did not reply for almost a week it might be a scam wallet.

It looks like that this wallet is partnered with changelly according to Announcement thread from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4437510.0
Try to contact them through that thread.

Edit: It seems that there is someone keeps telling that the project or wallet is scam according to the announcement thread take some time to read some post from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4437510.120
7348  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitmain promoting BitDeer is it scam or not? on: December 19, 2018, 12:37:03 AM
When checking and scanning the bitmain website for malware I saw the front page of bitmain with bitdeer on the slider.
I'm curious about the image because it shows Free Mining Day from December 13 to December 16 now I tried to click the image and redirect me to a bitdeer website I tried to sign in and redirect me again to bitmain to log in. Now when checking the Dashboard I thought that they are giving free hash rate but it doesn't.

I checked their pricing and I'm surprised about the price because it's too cheap with less maintenance fee.
Here is my own computation, you can earn $163.19 per month with $21 plan and you can only pay 3.9 maintenance fee for 30 days? (correct me if I'm wrong)

I'm planning to buy but I need to know first to other experienced users if this is safe to invest or scam?
7349  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: malwarebytes detecting trojan on bitmain.com on: December 18, 2018, 11:57:22 PM
Make sure it is a right domain or website because there is some fake website that uses punnycode to make a same domain and to trick the url.

Based on Virus Total it shows 0/67 everything is fine and clean.

It looks like your software malwarebytes is not updated or you are just using a crack version of malwarebytes. Try to update your malwarebytes to the latest version and latest database and scan the whole website again.

I scanned the website again to other malware online scanner but everything is clean.

7350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins and why the ecosystem needs them on: December 18, 2018, 11:09:03 PM
I don't think that stablecoins like tether can be 2nd in coinmarketcap they only use for trading purposes and it is not decentralized so there is a big chance if the tether is compromised it can be hack again just like what happened before.

Many investors and traders choose coins which I think that they can make a profit so if it's stable how could they make a profit? and honestly, I don't trust centralized coins because it's regulated and there is a big chance that all investors can be affected if the whole system is compromised compared to decentralized coins.

Stablecoins is only good for trading purposes since it's stable if the bitcoin is in the bear market we can safely store your money in stablecoins for the meantime while the price of crypto is in the bear market.
7351  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I earn My 1st Bitcoin? on: December 18, 2018, 10:11:05 AM
How do I earn Bitcoin?

There are lots of ways to earn bitcoin.

- Offer your skills in services section like making a logo, signature or avatar this is mostly offered from services section.
- Join in signature and avatar campaign and bounties
- You can also get a job in https://www.xbtfreelancer.com/ and paid with bitcoin.
- You can also earn bitcoin by solving captcha from faucet websites to get rewards.
- You can also earn bitcoin on CPA like ogads they are paying in bitcoin but you must learn how to spam on instagram or know how to do SEO.

Where can I find these jobs?
What kind of job you are looking for? There are some places where you can be hired for a job and earn bitcoins.
If you know about CPA marketing you can earn bitcoins by promoting some offers and get leads.

Another source is captcha typing there are some company that offers captcha solving and they will pay in bitcoin.

Bitcoin Mining - what and why?

Mining is a good investment if you know what hardware you should buy but if you don't know which hardware is profitable then you can check this https://www.asicminervalue.com/ and you will find which ASICminer is the best to make you profit today.

This is only good for those people who can hold coins for a long time and sell them at the right time. Same as GPU mining but if you are making a profit in ASICminer you can sell your coins without waiting in the right time.
7352  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coingate payment processor for Opencart issue on: December 18, 2018, 08:23:58 AM

Your Opencart version is too old you must download the latest one OpenCart 3.0.2.0 which is the last and latest version of Opencart this might be the reason why you are having some issue using it with Coingate payment gateway.

For me, I tried coingate before with woocommerce in WordPress its working fine and you can choose other altcoin payment option.

Try to update Opencart first and install the latest Coingate extension. If still doesn't work try to switch on wordpress with woocommerce or prestashop.

Also, the recommended (CoinPayments) above is also a good alternative that supports some altcoins but stellar is not supported compared to Coingate take a look at this https://www.coinpayments.net/supported-coins and this https://coingate.com/accept-altcoins
7353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POS fixed rewards ? on: December 17, 2018, 07:53:51 PM
What I understand about POS fixed is that you can get fixed rewards even you are holding a coins small or big amount in your wallet.

For POS percentage what I understand is that you can get rewards but in percentage (sample you have 100 coins in your wallet and the wallet will give you 1% interest every week and the other guy have 1000 coins in the wallet and the wallet gives him a 10% interest every week.) So the more you invest the more percentage of interest you can get. This is just what I understand about this two so correct me if I'm wrong.
7354  Economy / Services / Re: Earn $100 daily for doing almost nothing! on: December 16, 2018, 11:39:25 PM
It seems like you want to use other's bank account to make a new AdWords account and then you will use it to run a free campaign with coupons.

Or maybe you are planning to use the bank account to ask a large loan using other bank accounts which honestly illegal(Borrowing bank accounts is illegal) because you are not using your real identity and there is a big chance that this offer is scam.

How can you pay for $100 for a single bank account?

Beware guys for giving your bank account and real identity it's too risky it may risk your bank account and sooner there will be an FBI coming to arrest you.
7355  Other / Meta / Re: Forum is now Deleting Negative Posts - Imagine Reality if the Negative Stayed? on: December 16, 2018, 11:21:56 PM
What exactly do you want to say? Are you suspecting the forum that this forum is partnered or connected to aws-amazon?
and how do you know that Antminer or Bitmain owned by Jack Ma?

Your theory is invalid they are not connected they use amazon-aws to make a static IP and hide the real IP to protect the forum from attackers.

If your old account was being banned due to plagiarism this is not a right place to bring your dissatisfaction.

7356  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cannot login to Yobit due to bug on: December 16, 2018, 09:12:19 PM
This is old issue and I experienced the same bug before it always shows "invalid auth code" but I just copy and paste the code that I receive from email but doesn't work, I tried to log in via incognito mode sometimes it works but last time that I use yobit it does not work until now I couldn't login to my account even the 2fa code is correct.

I think it is better to contact their support but expect for the delayed response because Yobit support is known as worst support.

7358  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium now has full Segwit support on: December 15, 2018, 12:35:00 AM
I think what they mean about the seeds is that old user with old seed will not be converted or transfer to new seeds that include both segwit and your old bitcoin addresses. So if you are planning to export the seed and import it to another wallet(like electrum) you can only recover the old addresses without segwit addresses.

Even though it still in beta version and we will expect more improve about the segwit to the wallet.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite mobile wallets before but since they don't support segwit I stopped using them but right now I'll be going to use it again until they clarify the seeds about segwit addresses.
7359  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer s9 2nd hand no hardware version? on: December 14, 2018, 11:54:53 PM
You have a 2 option to fix this issue either flashing the firmware or just reset the miner few times to solve this issue but you must reset the miner first before you flash it.

There is a 2 step that you can solve this issue.

- If you don't know how to do a factory reset you can follow the guide from Bitmain here https://enforum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/3957

- If it doesn't work you can update the firmware with the latest version just download the firmware from Bitmain from here https://service.bitmain.com/support/download

If still doesn't work check this troubleshooting guide from here Possible problems and solutions for S7, S9 (fixed frequency) & L3+
7360  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coindeal is scam ? on: December 14, 2018, 06:07:24 PM
I never tried this exchange site before but it seems legit because I found a thread with the same question check it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3168670.0
According to some reply that they already traded on the exchange without any issue so the site might be legit.

However, if you are planning to exchange your coins in Coindeal exchange I suggest you deposit a small amount first to test before you exchange all of your coins.

Another information that I got is that the site doesn't have owner's information and the owner of the domain seems 2nd hand owner and I heard that someone experience delayed deposit and withdrawal confirmation. So for me, Coindeal is not 100% safe.
