7341  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex - Stop loss and profit on: October 09, 2017, 12:48:45 PM
This is possible on bittrex. It is quite simple to do whenever you are setting a trade. If you are familiar with bittrex, if you are selling, there is a tab for TYPE, where you have a small red bar at the front with LIMIT set as default.

Click on the LIMIT and you will see a drop down showing LIMIT (DEFAULT) and CONDITIONAL
Click on CONDITIONAL

Once you click on CONDITIONAL, there will be another tab that comes out below with 'SELL WHEN'
Click on the CONDITION tab at the front for a dropdown

For stop loss, select 'LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO' and input the value you would want it to stop your loss

I hope this helps someone.

Yes, but as you can check by yourself, you CAN'T set both of this in the same time! Coz your altcoin isn't available anymore!
This is true, you cant set both things on the same time  because it would really show up altcoin isn't available anymore. This is why you should choose up between sell order or stop loss. I don't know whats the problem why It cant be set on both things.
7342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you think bitcoin will be wiped out? on: October 08, 2017, 07:48:57 PM
I really wonder how and what will happen if bitcoin will be wiped out. What will happen to cryptocurrency, bitcoiners, and other altcoins if bitcoin is gone...??  Huh

That's one trillion times impossible.. I don't think your just thinking negatively or you might be on something else,, if your dreaming it might be a nightmare already.. Bitcoin will not be gone and it will still be on circulation all your life.. It might be replaceable on its place on top but for thinking about its extinction will not be happening as long internet in the world is on..
It cant really virtually wiped out since its been already on the circulation on thousands or millions of bitcoin users and as you said as long internet is still there it cant be wipe out but the possible thing that would happen is that it can be replaced by something new which people lost its interest on bitcoin. Possibilities is always there since nothing on this world do exist forever into its place.
7343  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I am Planning to make my own Exchange on: October 08, 2017, 06:40:05 PM
One of the weakest points in all Crypto currencies are the exchanges and their weak security and compromised code for the

software they use. Every time a exchange gets hacked, the Bitcoin price goes down. This has nothing to do with Bitcoin, but

rather exploits in third party software. A lot of people do not know the difference and they blame the technology. Your first

step would be to find developers you can trust and someone that can audit their code. {to prevent them from creating

backdoors in the software they created for you}  Wink
Good suggestion this thing should really be prioritize first because if we do just hire someone randomly it might really put the risk on making some hidden agenda later on.Security is one of the most important matter on creating an exchange and as being said if theres a hacking incident prices would really be mainly affected and if you do plan without any single knowledge on exchange will really be a tough investment for you since there are lots of things to be considered first.
If you want to make an exchange sites, I suggest to encourage first a investors or sponsors that support to your project and sustain the needed of your exchange site. Moreover advertise it into different social media and to bitcoin site to easily determine your project and to encourage also bitcoin users to support it.

Yes that's right and also he should provide a good promotion or maybe he should sent a huge amount for escrow on few months of running so that people could determine and see that his intention is not to scam people. And a good media promotion will be helpful for him to became known and he really need that since he's plan exchanger is new.
Marketing stuff would always be there and should really be prioritize because this is the thing will make exposure on your exchanger. If you put less attention into this then for sure you would really have a hard time on getting potential users or traders on the site. Escrowed funds is somehow a good show up regarding on your credibility and transparency.
7344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is eBTC a scam? on: October 08, 2017, 06:17:26 PM
In fact this is just a business strategy, a marketing strategy, a politics to get rich through bitcoin
The crypto world like a pearl until the birth of new coins, such as this eBTC. Many questions why should use the word '' eBTC ''? just add the letter 'e' at the beginning of the word.
So many negative arguments arise, my judgment is '' will last forever every new coin ..?
Its not valuable after all because creating new erc20 tokens is really easy. The thing that eBTC do gain value is it is being hyped up just like what being mentioned above but this coin actually don't have any usage or something unique on it.This is crypto and anyone would able do anything as long they can able to make money and now for sure the dev of eBTC is sipping out his cold juice and seeing his wallet filling up by ETH or BTC.
7345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How much do people fear key loggers? on: October 08, 2017, 05:48:09 PM
Im gonna buy a ledger but i still want to.spread the risk among some other wallets. Problem is most now apart frrom core uses a 12 word passphrase. Problem is John Mcafee says millions of phones and computers have keyloggers so they can take photo.and send your passphrase quite easily.

Is this a serious risk?

How to use a wallet that solves this?
Everything has risk and most people do really afraid of that keyloggers which they can easy stole up valuable information's which are related on your wallet or even on important emails but somehow this thing can be avoided if you do know how to set up things which would make you secure somehow into these threats. In terms on PC its really always recommended to have an Anti-virus so that pc would be clean on any malware or virus and you should always be prompt on downloading things on internet.
7346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which country will ban an ICO? What do you think? on: October 08, 2017, 05:01:49 PM
Not sure which county will be next but I guess there will be more countries following. But not to worry, the countries are not banning ICO, it is just regulating.
And this thing is already being started by CHINA which they do make some news that they would ban ICO but actually they would end up on letting them again but on a regulated way which isn't surprising because they wont gain something if they would decide to ban ICO. Hope in future years no country would able to do such thing.
7347  Economy / Economics / Re: In event of your death on: October 08, 2017, 03:37:10 PM
I am wondering what provisions have you all made in case you die before cashing out your bitcoins? I am single, live alone and both my parents are deceased. My siblings dont care about any of this, however I would like my nieces and nephews to get some of my profits but they are still very young right now. I dont trust lawyers to give them my private keys. I am wondering, what can I do?

I am not yet thinking of this possibility. I guess you don't have to personally give your private keys to your little nieces and nephews. A little note with instructions and details will do. You just have to store them somewhere very safe. A tiny safe vault is enough for that little piece of paper. How lucky your young relatives must be!
Well possibilities cant really be removed because all of us do really come to a state on where we all died.In his situation hes single and don't have a family he do tend to leave those bitcoins to his nieces and nephews which they are really lucky because they don't have any awareness that there is already a money that awaits for them incase op would die but thinking off that he would still able to make his own family and yet we wont able to know on when we would die.It would either to last 100 years.  Smiley
7348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Switzerland is gradually turning into "the bitcoin country" on: October 08, 2017, 01:21:32 PM
If there is any country which has thoroughly supported Cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin, it definitely would be Switzerland.

Firstly chiasso in Switzerland had stated earlier last month that taxes can now be paid in bitcoin in the town, which I've not yet seen any country or city to do so, if you have, please comment the name of the city and country below.

Please stop promoting your own website in this forum.I understand it's nice way to promote but still STOP IT.You can't advertise like that and to your question i only know of Japan and now Switzerland that have adopted bitcoin this good.
Well its not bad to promote his own site though since you do have the free decision if you would able to click that link or not as long he discuss about this bitcoin country thing. Besides Switzerland I do believe that Japan is the first. If this country turns out to adopt bitcoin then its good and we can say adoption is gradually increasing but not totally a bitcoin country knowing that they do have still their local fiat currency.
7349  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coins.ph Customer Service on: October 07, 2017, 04:32:17 PM
Just right now, i did not received a text confirmation for my 4 digits PIN.
I will wait for the reply from coins.ph customer service.
Hope my message will arrive ASAP.

They are usually out on weekends I believed. I also had the same problem as yours last night. I cash out received the 4 digit PIN but the 16 digit didn't arrived. Since this should be instant, its really frustrating not to be able to withdraw specially if you are in a hurry. Fortunately, after calling out their attention, I got my 16 digit and was able to go to the nearest Security Bank. Just need patience and if you have message the support them I'm sure that they will get back at you, although it is weekend already. So there's nothing you can do but to wait.

I don't know if you guys experienced it but why it is when you are in a hurry and need the funds ASAP this things happened? Just last week, I made 2 withdrawals, the first did get in, but the second transaction was stuck up or something. It was a emergency situation in my end, thus I needed the money ASAP but unfortunately I have to wait 3 hours before the issue was resolved. And when you withdraw and you are not in a hurry that money was instant. Do you guys have the same experienced?
Lucky for you that they resolved the problem in just 3 hours. Not like in my own experience when the codes didn't go through the atm and it says transaction cancelled and on the second try the information entered is not correct which means they are the ones who have problem on coordinating with e=give cash. This is the best thing I do like on them but sometimes there are really problems regarding error which do really suck bigtime.

Yes, it was a Monday morning so perhaps the support staff are all in the office. I also have the same experienced as your though, I was withdrawing unfortunately, the ATM was out of money. So my cash didn't dispensed at all!. I contacted their support staff once again however, I was so mad at them because they said they wanted me to report it to bank itself! I said NO, and I insist that they should be the contacting them because I didn't deal with the banks directly. So I have to wait like 3-5 days before informing me that I can withdraw it again.
Those kind of situations would really make you mad specially when you are in a hurry or an emergency which you would need those funds and suddenly it was stucked and leave you pending with those funds that you do expect. You would really get mad on their service and as you said they would normally tell you to communicate with the bank but i didnt even do such thing since they are the ones who are responsible on processing such transaction.
7350  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MinerGate Looks like a Ponzi Scheme to me. on: October 07, 2017, 03:41:33 PM
What's the difference with all the other cloud mining services out there? We have all stated that cloud mining is dead since 2014, and if ever there is one who remained hashing with real hardware and is running a legit operation, I doubt that someone will ever breakeven--or even profit--off of it. Also, having no limits on buy order is what gave it away. Normally a cloud mining operation can only deliver a certain amount of hash power, but this is the real deal here since they don't impose limitations on buying hash power:D
And thats what make it suspicious if you would able to compare on genesis or hashflare they do almost have out of stock on purchasing hash power for minergate we cant be sure if they do have some vacant for rentals and 80 btc can bought nasty HASH but well even those cloud mining who are still operating nowadays i do consider them as ponzi since i was being scammed by hashocean.Remember?
7351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone predicted this new little dip in btc? on: October 07, 2017, 05:18:14 AM
A lot of people expected this second dip when the prices went back to around $4000, including me. It's not like I did like super extensive chart analysis on the prices, it's just that bull traps has happened alot in the past and I didn't see why it wouldn't happen again. I personally think it's gonna go back up to $4000 after this dip though. The only question for me is that how long are we gonna stay at the $3500-$3600 price range. Take this with a grain of salt as I'm in no way a pro trader.

How did you end up in BCC while trading BTC though? LOL
Maybe hes pertaining that all of his funds are now on BCC and he cant get out since the price of bitcoin it isn't high yet. I don't know what price he targets but as he said hes stuck  Grin Knowing that BCC is free if you did able to store bitcoin on pre-fork but if he had bought BCC by converting his BTC then this would be the cause why he do such thing.
7352  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC sent to mixer but company is dissolved on: October 07, 2017, 04:42:48 AM
Hi,

Thanks for your response. It was not bitmixer.io as I could see their service is stopped. It was https://bitcoin-mix.com/. It only says dissolved when you click on their trading name at the bottom which directs to companies house. There is a link to this dissolved company and this website https://cryptoforexltd.biz/?a=home as they share the same director and the same address in the UK. I am in touch with them now.

I appreciate what you are saying but it is difficult to know which ones are solid and reputable, especially when you are new and the site gives the appearance of being legitimate.

If it is gone then it is a hard lesson learned.

T
Don't expect that those address been input in there are real. If you did able to trace up that it has the same owner then it is a scam. There are several bitcoin mixers in the market as of now one of them Chipmixer as you can see above signature. You should not choose up unreputable mixing sites because this would really lead up on getting scammed. Sorry for your loss by the way.
7353  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How the blockchain technology could better address money laundering issues on: October 07, 2017, 03:04:36 AM
"Money laundering" is a crime made-up by governments that spy on their citizens. Some people believe that it is about drugs, terrorism, human trafficing and crimes against humanity. It is not. Money laundering is defined as using money that your government does know nothing about. You are selling bitcoins at LBC? You are money laundering. You do graphic design and do not pay the cut to your country? That is money laundering.

Whitelisting wallets is the most horrible thing you may do to cryptocurrency. When you give power to erase value, your currency loses its value. We trust bitcoin, because it is based on math. When you add central power that allows people to use it, you no longer need blockchain, crypto. You do not need anything. You made your own PayPal.
Very well said.In short you would just need to create another centralized system on where you do have the full control of funds either incoming or outgoing transaction.Whitelisting is nonsense since not all transactions in crypto is purely focused on illegal stuffs. It can be used but on just small proportion.

7355  Economy / Economics / Re: The Supply of Bitcoin Is Limited. The Supply of Cryptos Isn't! on: October 06, 2017, 11:05:30 PM
No doubt that cryptos can ensure some regulatory freedom as it is not limited physically like gold or silver. However, the unlimited supply of altcoins is not good for the overall crypto community. We are seeing new altcoins are popping up every single day and flooding the market where most of them are worthless and makes no sense to buy. This way the investments are getting divided into thousand fractions. If we had only a handful of altcoins with proper marketing plans and roadmap, that would be much beneficial for the crypto community. If we can't control this trend, then millions of altcoins will flood the market which will eventually bring down the worth and reliability of crypto currency market.
Ive been thinking this thing too considering on the supply of cryptos compared on valuable asset or investment on this physical world. Even we would differentiate or compare it to local fiat currencies which do have still limited supply and creating one wont really be that easy unlike on crypto as long you do have the knowledge on making an altcoin then you are good to go which as being said it would divide potential investors or adopters because of thousands of new coins are popping out.

You should not use those kind of words specially on this forum itself. How would bitcointalk wont be enough for us? since this forum has anything already infomations and stuff. Checking the link or site given it is just an ordinary forum without any traffic.I cant see anything special on it and instead on comparing bitcointalk to your own forum its better to focus on how you would able to bring traffic into your site.
7357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Will Likely Resume Cryptocurrency Trading by Licensing Bitcoin Exchanges on: October 06, 2017, 10:09:52 PM
Reversal after they've seen that bitcoin is going along pretty well even without their petty dramas and interference. If this happens to be true, it will prove to the world that what happened was an orchestrated FUD for some people to benefit when everyone is uncertain what would happen to the coin's price without China. Trading will resume, so most likely it will be another pump on the price and might reach a new ATH this time.

I hope that China would come up with some serious regulation with the trading scene and not another bluff just like what they did in the past years.
For sure they would learn now regarding on their previous steps on last month they do believe that they can able to succeed by just making any other fuds and now they do see that bitcoin isn't really affected at all. Community doesn't really care at all on what are the steps they are making. This is how strong the bitcoin community is and a single country don't have the power to bring it down. For now they would decide to go with the flow.
7358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY or AIRDROPS ???? on: October 06, 2017, 09:34:30 PM
Only bounty, no competition at all. Airdrop compared to bounty this shit
I cant see that you need to compete on airdrops since you would only just been asked to give your address or sign up the google form then you are good to go.Sometimes they do put limitation on participants but usually on big numbers or even unlimited depending on the members would sign up for. If I would have to choose then having both would really be ideal since this would give you double chances on making money.

People here who are giving Complains about coinbase has been with coinbase for over 2-3 years now, I have only used coinbase a year now, but have not received any difficulty with them. I guess this depends on the country, cause I have a same country guy who has been using coinbase before I knew about bitcoin and has no worries with them.
This kind of situation would really be on random some people do experience problems with coinbase and some is already using their service for how many years and still haven't experienced any issues.Related on the situation posted on op.Why hes being blocked on using their service without any warnings? that's an unprofessional way on handling users.
You got the point even me experience some issue about their service for a long time using their service i experience different issue about their site not only   the bug i receive from new themes of coinbase there are lots of issue that i experience except for banning or blocking my account since i am receive bitcoin not actually from gambling  and i know the terms.
coinbase will not a perfect wallet that will never experience any issue there is no website online not experience of some bugs and issue..
Maybe you didn't experience yet but expect maybe  in the future you can be also experience of issue there.
Hopefully I wont experience such thing since ive been using coinbase solely as a wallet not on using it on purchasing bitcoins or whatsoever. I'm not using it on gambling which is really against on their tos.For now I haven't experience issues as of now.If theres one then I would definitely send support tickets regarding on the issue I do experience and also this is not also my main wallet I'm just using it as a medium on my micro transactions online.
