8241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Bitcoin Price Volatility that Really Made Fiverr to Drop Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2017, 01:40:44 PM
Fiverr was one of the few online freelancing sites that accepted bitcoin until this January when they dropped it. The company hasn’t issued a comprehensive statement explaining what informed their decision. However, an article by Themerkle gives bitcoin volatility as the reason.

That raises the question whether Fiverr used a payment processor. If they did then price volatility becomes less of a reason that will make them drop bitcoin.

Maybe someone out there has info about this. Share.

When you purchase gigs on Fiverr with bitcoin you can`t get a refund.
I bought a gig with btc on December 2015,the service was terrible and i never got a refund.
I guess that nobody is using bitcoin to buy fiverr gigs and that`s why they removed that feature.
This might be the reason why fiver decided to drop bitcoin because of lacking of users of it or people who do use bitcoin to purchase. Its really a sad thing that there would be surely problems in terms of refund.Well its their own decision and we cant do anything about it.
8242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Basketball Betting System on: February 14, 2017, 01:02:24 PM
Seeing on the chart i think this is just really a waste of time because its already consuming too much time and the progress still slow even it gives a small positive results. Try it out to bet on a short period of time and this strategy might works but well $100 bank roll isnt big enough in my opinion.
8243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: February 14, 2017, 12:31:28 PM
Martingale system is easy to play, double the bet amount when you lose, it is too thrilled, but easy to be broke. I like Fabonacci system, which is proven profitable if you have decent strategy.
Fabonacci strategy seems very new to me and i do only hear about this word only on forex i dont know how this strategy works on gambling field. Care to share pal? I do only know about martingale which is commonly being used by most gamblers.
8244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is there any dice site with free giveaway? on: February 14, 2017, 11:51:45 AM
i keep hearing about gambling dice, so i wanted to give it a try but i don't want to deposit my money yet.

also i have heard they usually do giveaways.

so is there any of them currently giving away some amount that i can play with?
(no deposit bonus)
Most of the dice site i ever known does really have faucets which means they are giving out small amounts of satoshis which you can claim on their faucet and those small satoshis are just for trying out their site which you are really seeking. Try to find that faucet this kind of feature wont really be absent on any dice site.
8245  Economy / Economics / Re: Physical or Paper Gold? Why? on: February 13, 2017, 02:38:58 PM
I dont know why people would really bother to put gold or decide to have a paper gold since we all know that golds price would really vary on its weight because the more the heavier the more valuable it be and making it as a paper gold i think it would be complicated for me and would took time to implement because making 1kl gold into a 1 single paper gold isnt good on my own view if im the owner of it.I would like to feel its weight Smiley
8246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Byteball hype over or time to buy? on: February 13, 2017, 02:19:45 PM
they stopped their signature campaign today, so i guess the hype has stopped and will slow down in the near future.
and as you said, i am waiting for the dump to happen, there are going to be lots of people with lots of bytes to dump and that will always cause a big drop in price (one of those sharp declines in charts). i will keep an eye out for post dump actions if i were you.
It will surely dump specially to those who earn byte on a free way they will surely secure their profits and avoiding the price dump because it will surely happen.Regardless on the dump i cant still decide if this would be the best time to buy or just consider it as an another shitcoin dying again.
8247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: lucky ! does it influences by a woman beside of us? on: February 13, 2017, 01:08:54 PM
Luck did not depend on the presence of our GF by our side at the time we do a gamble, perhaps where they can actually make us lose concentration or even make our relationship be damaged, because it turns out she does not like if we do a gamble. GF sit in our side when we do gamble only happen in movie  Smiley
You are right those scenes are just be seen on movies only and i dont really believe that our gf or wife would be glad if we let him see or bring her while you gambling since they dont really interested on this stuffs but if shes a gambler too then you do have a nice past time. hehe
8248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let us talk about a Bitcoin poker room in free fall, betcoin.ag on: February 13, 2017, 12:44:26 PM
OP really loves Betcoin.ag gambling site i dont really have an idea on whats the problem between those two people but as i saw on the feedbacks there are scam accusations. I dont care if betcoin.ag does decrease its alexa rank as long they are still operating legitimately and paying and regarding signature campaigns i think its just enough.
8249  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: February 13, 2017, 12:28:25 PM
i lost 1 btc at the old edition ,  it was very hard to win and no provably fair as now
Well, if you lost it doesn't really mean the casino isn't proably fair. I'm sure it is. And you at least found out how to play. I didn't. The design is pretty and as I am a fan of sushi I wanted to try that game. I read the instruction but still didn't get how tp set the bet amount and try my luck. SO I just kept crossing the rows till it bored me a bit and I decided to go back to this thread and see if someone can tell me what am I doing wrong Undecided

his bad luck and greed make him a loser and instead of quiting he select to chase down his losses and turn outs that his loss reached for 1 btc, and thats a huge lose ! I can't imagine on what would i do if i am the one who,'s gonna lose that.

But very truly he should not blame the site's fairness if he lost but instead he should look up for himself on why he lost that huge money and correct the wrong doings on next betting time so that if he lost it will not hurt him so much.
Its very normal for most people will complaint about gambling sites provably fair specially when they are lossing out money and thats reality most of them think or say that they are not fair which should not be always putted on our minds because this is gambling and losses are there and we should really expect that.
8250  Economy / Economics / Re: Prediction for 2017 - share your views on: February 12, 2017, 02:20:36 PM
While creating this topic, bitcoin is standing at 618 USD. So I want to know your prediction for the year of 2017. What is the milestone you have targeted?

Will it be able to hold its strength at 750 USD by the end of 2017? Voice your opinions.

Nice remainder we have here, and in same time indicator where we was and where are we now in just few months period. Yes bitcoin have strength to hold 750 and 850 and 1000, that is clear now to all people, and that is not finished story, bitcoin can rise more.
By the end of 2017 bitcoin will worth more then now, where will it settle its hard to know, I think over 1300 $ is very reasonable prediction, 300 $ in one year is good rise.

Good to see some old prices of bitcoin in this thread. I remember the start of 2016 and we were about 300$ per bitcoin. and after one year in jan 2017 we were 1000$. 700$ price increase is one year is really a great achievement and i think we should be happy with such growth rate.
All of us will be surely happy on bitcoins price increase because we do love to see it goes to the moon even though there are price dips but still bitcoin does still manage to increase its price compare on the last years which we could really see bitcoins potential for long term.
8251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most popular bitcoin gambling games? on: February 12, 2017, 01:57:39 PM

I know Dice is by a huge margin the most played bitcoin gambling game. What do you think are the others that is played in bitcoin community a lot?

I think plinko could be the second biggest one. Maybe it could be slots too, there are many slots games out there but I am not sure if they are played that much.

The most popular gambling site I know was Primedice.com they have lots of players out there who played most of the time. They collected bitcoin profit every week I think almost  thousand of BTC. if I am not mistaken.
Speaking of primedice there are actually one of the most popular commonly on dice games and i do agree with you there are lots of players who do play on daily basis which we could able to say that its really a good site but still there are new sites which is gaining some popularity now just like bitdice Smiley
8252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you beat the house edge on: February 12, 2017, 12:19:00 PM
Can't you beat the house edge? Today, with all these Bitcoin casinos and dices, I think it would be possible to beat small house edge with like 1%.
I always deposit small amount on site and when I make it to a good balance I withdraw, then I play with faucet and loose till the next deposit.
Can you share your experience with the gambling?
My experience with gambling gave me a lesson that you can't beat the house edge. You can win against the house but only for a short time like what others said because if you keep trying and trying you'll lose in the end.
You will surely lose in the end because house will really beat us up no matter how big our balance or bankroll specially when we use martingale and other methods. We should really not tend to chase up our losses on playing gambling because it would really lead us on getting broke.
8253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: February 12, 2017, 09:17:14 AM
Curious, that's what makes me to continue gambling despite frequently losing. When I lost 10 consecutive takes part, then I'm sure that gambling the the 11st will win and of course I'm gambling with larger nominal than before. If I still lost and I always add gambling in the next round.

LOL  Grin
bcause of this, i hate gambling..
sometime 10 consecutive lost isn't enough, the next round win chance still around 50%  Angry
10 isnt really enough since we could able to experience 20x even more lose specially on playing dice.Seeing on your situation i could say that you are a gambling addict and you should really limit yourself on playing even more to prevent more losses on the long run.
8254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: February 12, 2017, 08:45:18 AM
investing is a way to multiply the money / bitcoin we have. large or small investment will affect how much profit we can. of course, when we invest a lot of money which we can had higher profits as well. but it never hurts to start from little things. all of it will make us better understand the investment.
Yes its not bad to start on small amounts when we are speaking about investments because its also considered as a try out if that investment isnt a scam or a legit business at all but speaking of legitimate investment its really better to put huge amounts to expect big profits.
8255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy and Lost in GAMBLE on: February 12, 2017, 08:10:39 AM
in gambling dice I often use martingale strategy it's the general strategy but can generate profits as long as not greedy. in sportsbetting I prefer choosing a team that has a chance to win big, and of course see the details of the game
Yeah, this Martingale strategy is really great, it can win back your losses but as a return you must have a good and high capital. If you just have some faucet bitcoins in your hand better YOLO and dont use martingale, Martingale really need a lot of money because you are doubling your bets every loss. And I think it has the highest risk of losing that winning. Better be in a sportsbetting site than dice.
Martingale does really need big bankroll for you to be able to sustain the use of martingale but it doesnt guarantee you anytime on making money because house will surely bust you out and you will lost of your bankroll on a short period of time thats why i dont use too much martingale system.
8256  Economy / Gambling / Re: 999dice on: February 12, 2017, 07:55:58 AM
I've played in 999Dice last week, Deposit 0.1BTC , withdrawed 0.12BTC after few hours of playing and i received my deposit in my web wallet. So i will not say that this site is scam.

You say 999dice is not scam just because you won 0.02btc and you received your withdrawal but you ignore the fact about the huge numbers of scam accusations against them?
But of course it is your own choice wherever you want to put your money, at least this forum has advised you about the reality of 999dice.
Yes,he could able to say such thing because he have been payout by 999dice but same as you said hes not aware on the past negative accusations of the site. He might recieve payout because its not really a big amount and would not tend not to payout and increase their accusations now.
8257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will surge to $25,000+ on: February 12, 2017, 07:40:03 AM
Having hope is good but 25k is a very high amount considering current price, $1000 itself was a major achievement for btc even a 2.5k would be a major event for btc right now, so 25k doesn't seems something that we will see soon maybe in a decade?
It isnt realistic at all considering and hoping for that price on a short period of time and surely it takes how many years to reach that amount and as you said we are just on 1000 price and even reaching 2k is soo hard and even we didnt know when it would reach that price point.
8258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your toolset for Bitcoin trading? on: February 11, 2017, 03:50:59 PM
Im not using any paid tools since it doesnt really need at all specially on cryptoworld and on trading on them doesnt like on forex which would require paid tools but still i do just use the basics like bollinger bands, fibonacci, rsi indicators and all which is useful being included on the mt4 platform.
8259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you beat the house edge on: February 11, 2017, 03:18:06 PM
If we are lucky then we could possibly beat the house edge specially to those sites who have the lowest house edge % but we should really not too confident because if we do play on longer runs the risk is always there to bust us out thats why we should really know how to discipline ourselves.
8260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New casino vs old and trusted one on: February 11, 2017, 02:43:53 PM
We know many quite old and trusted casinos like Primedice, Safedice, Crypto-games etc. And yet I see there are many new casinos appearing like Bonanza or BtcDragon. Do new ones have a chance of becoming popular nowadays? And what can bring populatiry to a new casino? I think new casinos attract investors, because there is a low bankroll there which strengthens such casinos. What else can help? Do you think a signature campaign makes big difference, for example?
Joining on the market on later times would really give you a difficulty as a gambling site owner because you will surely think off on how to beat those reputable old gambling sites but i could say that everyone does have the chance to build up your gambling site even those old ones do also begin like that,
