7361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make sure a projects funds are safe? on: July 11, 2021, 11:33:43 PM
You can check their contract address, most of the projects got their contract address so that's part of checking if the funds were there and secured by the development team. But why are you making that sure that it's safe? you should always be active on their telegram or any means of communication with their community because they're the ones that will answer on how you'll check if the funds of the project are there. There would always be a way to contact them and ask your question directly. For example, what's the current project that made you ask this question? you contact them and this question directly to them.
7362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 11, 2021, 11:03:56 PM
@blockman - Here are the names:

- Alexis Rocha https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/746813
- Maurice Lee https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/648938

Both 5'10 and south paw (left handed), similar to Spence height and fighting stance.

And then we have the more experienced Ivan Redkach, listed as 5'9 but he could be taller.

So Freddy Roach comes big with his sparring partners (literally) going to push Manny specially young fighters like Rocha. Manny though is used to fight bigger guys so probably just a small adjustments on his part. But he hasn't seen or box a fighter like Spence, at his prime and he is a lefty like him.
Thanks mate. That would play an important role for the upcoming fight of Manny and Errol. And by the way, they had already their show up to the media.
I cannot find some media that has covered their show up and Manny even told why he chose Errol over other potential opponents that he've got.

In this forum, yeah there are many users who still thinks Pacman could pulled out this one but I don't think it's enough to sway or even balance the betting odds in favor of Manny.
That's hard to change because we believe that Manny can but it's okay to think that he's going to pull this one. But I'm sure that there are also other fans that's eyeing for Errol.
7363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any good crypto betting exchange ? on: July 11, 2021, 07:57:45 PM
For those wondering, i've found "exbet" to be what I was looking for. I've never used it so far, so I don't know if it is trustworthy.
They have an active announcement thread on gambling. You'll see some of the experiences and feedback from the other members of the community.
To check their announcement thread, you go directly to their thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5187610.0).
7364  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term on: July 11, 2021, 07:31:32 PM
In my opinion, the increase in bitcoin is not a matter of long or short time, but it is a simultaneous and continuous buying moment, so the price goes up. and when the price has reached a saturated position, many people will sell it so that a correction occurs. therefore we must be good at taking advantage of that moment to make a profit
It is the usual market cycle that you've described. Taking advantage is when you know that the market is bearish and you're taking action instead of watching the price goes up a little by little and misses the most important part, and that is to buy when the price of bitcoin was still quite low and hasn't recovered yet. And the cycle will continue to repeat the process and it will reach a certain selling point where most of the traders and olders will meet and sell at the same time. As there's a pressure for selling points, that will make the price a little bit lower again and the cycle continues.
7365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's say you have a large amount of BTC and you on: July 11, 2021, 06:54:55 PM
Through the exchanger.
I would exchange BTC for the currency of interest to me in a private transaction or with the help of some service.
In a pinch, I would exchange it for cash.
In exchanges, if it's a huge amount of money, you'll be asked for KYC. All of them are like that and they will be alerted when somebody is going through withdrawals with such a huge amount. But just like the others that have suggested that you will withdraw many times but with very small amounts, it's your very choice. Or, if there are casinos in your area, there might be some of those gamblers that are looking to buy bitcoin, you can sell it to them.
Well, still there is a risk when dealing with someone from person to person selling your bitcoin, your life is putting in danger because we know how much the value of money you have, the theft will perhaps getting interested in you. Why not you can divide that into different parts, or selling on different exchanges like P2P exchange. That will perhaps a good choice for now because for sure if that is on the centralized exchange they will always suspect a large amount transferring into other wallets, more worst if they think you are in criminal.
Yes, that's what I've said of dividing it and selling it in small parts in exchanges. But selling on P2P, it's just a choice and there's another one that I've forgot. There are places which you're able to buy and sell over the counter and there's still a requirement for KYC but at least you'll be safe doing transactions there. You only need to know where are those OTC markets that you can go and have yourself a treat by selling it easily with them. But rates would matter on that sale but at least you've got a peace of mind that it's a legit trade and business to sell your bitcoins and you can tell that you're about to sell a lot and if they can cater you with that trade.
7366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Axie reaches all time high. What is your next pick? on: July 11, 2021, 06:14:15 PM
I don't think it is considered late since Axie is a game and had proven to generate a steady source of SPL which can be in turn sell for profit.  Though the price might be expensive but you can have your ROI for at most 3 months and having an investment to get such ROI in a short span of time is considered very good.
Luckily I got my ROI within half month and that's because I've bought the Axies that I've got before the surge and the when SLPs aren't that much so it's a win already to me and the next days are totally profit for me. Well, I wouldn't say that it's too late but if someone is really interested in investing in Axie, he or she has to study about it first. The price of SLP can drop a lot and the amount you've invested will be longer before you get the return of it. SLP is still a cryptocurrency and it's not exempted with the market's volatility. It's just an overwhelming response from the community as the game is very rewarding.
7367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: July 11, 2021, 05:29:09 PM
I've played it before but never got any chance to win even at the slightest amount than you can think. I just got a false hope that when I bet on it but didn't found any luck. With even small amounts of win, this is giving you that hope and at the same time pleasure because unlike any others, if you've won the lottery, it's quite satisfying even the amount would only small just as the image that you've posted OP. So if anyone has ever got the chance to win in the lottery, you're definitely one of the luckiest because unlike me and the others, we have never won any amount from it.
7368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: July 11, 2021, 04:53:57 PM
those who feel comfortable investing in government-controlled investments because these investments are monitored and legalized by the government, if there is a problem that can harm investors, there will be a person in charge from the government, maybe from there they judge that government-managed investments are very good.
But there is a good side if we invest in Bitcoin, namely we can get very large profits from Bitcoin if there is a very fast price increase or a very high price increase.
There is no trust issue if the investments are coming from the government approved agencies or if it's supported by the government. And in that  case, there's no need to worry upon investing with those typical investments. As for bitcoin, it is not a government backed investment but the returns are greater than those. While people have a lot of choices but to invest to investments that they prefer including bitcoin, there's no government that will help them with its price because it is decentralized.
7369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most profitable gambling strategies, what are they? on: July 11, 2021, 06:50:09 AM
There's no need for me to tell you a strategy that have won me that much. Maybe if I'm a sportsbettor and usually bet on good odds with such amounts, I guess that will make me earn more than $200 with every single match but it has to be a good match with verified and good analysis with the upcoming match that I'm about to bet. But if I'm not that type of bettor and usually do not go with such bets to place then you've said it that there's no such strategy that goes for long term because it's making every result different from the styles and strategies that we do.

PBA teams can once again make trades starting Monday

Quote
PBA teams can still make trades before the 46th season begins on Friday.

Commissioner Willie Marcial said PBA squads can once again make trade deals beginning Monday, 12 noon – a few days before the 2021 season will be held at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

This is it, we will soon know if the rumor is true about the big trade of the SMB team.

The names on the rumors are Bollick, Greg, Cabagnot, and Ross, we will find it out soon, just keep follow the PBA news.
Interesting trades will happen again and the super teams will get their best players to collaborate with each other again. And one thing that's being anticipated and that is to have those best players on one boat and that's likely to happen again. That's what we see most of the time from conference to conference. If the rumor is true then I'll start to believe with 50% with good rumors in the future because it seems that these rumors are really coming from an accurate source. I won't say an official source but that's likely.
7371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exiting altcoins at the correct time is the best thing you can do do with them. on: July 10, 2021, 11:04:45 PM
People should learn the jot down of the process that OP said. You hold bitcoin and repeat that process through trading altcoins. It's okay to hold some altcoins that you see the future on it but you don't have to settle for those altcoins only and the main stay on your portfolio is always bitcoin. The proven strategy of holding bitcoin and trading your altcoins if you're at profit is always the best strategy for me. There might be some traders and holders of other altcoins that made a lot but with this, it is all about the consistency of bitcoin that has always been seen for years and you'll have peace of mind.
7372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the currencies in the movie are Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2021, 10:22:52 PM
There is a sort of matrix and newness if they're going to add bitcoin as their currency. Well, just like the modern days, that will make the story more interesting as bitcoin is interesting for no coiners and if they ever hear that it is in a sequel or movie, that's a free advertisement for bitcoin. And it could also be part of their marketing as they know there's a huge community that supports bitcoin so with just 1 or two mentions of bitcoin, it will spread quickly to the community that there's this movie that has endorsed or mentioned bitcoin.

7374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: July 10, 2021, 04:50:49 PM
It's just a privilege for those fully vaccinated that they are allowed not to wear masks but if they still think that they have to wear them for their own added protection then they should wear them at all times. Someone might think that he's not fully protected through vaccine but it has a high efficacy that's why being vaccinated with a complete dose increases your immunity to the virus. And if a casino considers fully vaccinated people to be well protected and lessen the possibility of being infected and becoming the carrier, it's their rules inside their premises and for those vaccinated folks entering the premises, they're privileged.
I guess I missed on focusing that this concept is of the privileges of fully vaccinated customers. Although we cannot ignore the fact that even people who are vaccinated are still subject and susceptible to be infected with the virus but with lesser complicated symptoms. I just hope that when an outbreak occurs inside a casino, the management will take full responsibility of it.
It is a privilege because not everywhere can remove their masks so if you're in a place like Vegas and you're fully vaccinated or in a state where there's the same city rule that fully vaccinated people can freely remove their mask, you're just experiencing the privilege that other places don't have. Yes, you can still be infected if you're fully vaccinated but the chance is very little and you're not going to experience severe symptoms and you can recover eventually and that's why the cases are dropping down due to the vaccines effect.
7376  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie infinity popularity on: July 10, 2021, 02:27:49 PM

7377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC? on: July 09, 2021, 10:47:49 PM
If you need money sure you will worry about Bitcoin price discussion . If the price get down I dont think you can be patient .
That is why when you invest in bitcoin, make sure that the money you'll invest is the money you afford to lose and is not for immediate use. You need to be patient when you invest in bitcoin and such declines are normal to be seen everywhere the whole year round. The most impatient investors would cry out with their losses but it's them that did that decision to sell at loss.

We believe that BTC can reach $1 million in the long run. But short-term ups and downs will naturally cause concern. After all, we have to live.
This is one of the most hopeful prices that we're waiting for and hoping that by the time bitcoin reaches $1M we still got at least 1 or any of those decimals that shall give us a good amount of profit. The most patient bitcoin holders will always be the one that will be rewarded with greater amount.
7378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 09, 2021, 10:16:59 PM
I read some news that he is already getting into sparring sessions, he fought professional boxers with 5'10'' height and the same style with Spence.
Any leads who are that sparring partner with that description?

Manny's camp really prepared for this and they will ensure they'll get this win although they are still the underdog until now.
They always prepare for fights like this and there's bigger money at stake for whoever wins the match. And knowing what are the plans of Manny after this match, he sure has to win this match to get as much as he can so that he can have funds for his candidacy once he's back in the country. He wants to make sure that he will get enough campaign funds to sustain his popularity until the election comes. That's the typical candidate's action we see every time the election is near. There's even some political action that he made with his team while he's on training, he doesn't get some rest in the outside world of boxing.
7379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be Prepared for the big dump. on: July 09, 2021, 09:42:49 PM
In my opinion, I don't agree if based on that you say there will be another big dump, April-June is quite a big dump, I think for the future until the end of the year, there will be no big dump, on the contrary, I think the price btc and all altcoins will rise and rebound like prices in february 2021.
It is a positive outlook until the end of the year and mostly believes in that. And it's true that there's already a big dump that has happened and that's likely sufficient for the entire year's run in the market. Although we usually see bigger dump after dump there's always the recovery that we use to see and that's making us more hopeful and optimistic that by the end of this year, we're going to see $100k or close to that price and it is based on several factors like the S2F model that we've been believing that it's attached on its pattern and what the market is showing and what we have today.
7380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Taking Profits on Altcoins Strategy on: July 09, 2021, 09:03:21 PM
And actually it's also much better than having to wait a long time for prices that are too high because usually after the green market, there will always be a red market in the same day, so taking profit early is a very good thing too.
As long as you're content with the profit then take it out and have it cash if you want or remain it as a stable coin. So in times of drop again, you'll be able to buy those coins that have dropped a lot and that's what most of the traders in long term does. They wait for the plummet of those coins that they want to hold again and make a profit by holding it. The strategy is very easy but to spot on those coins that you're about to buy at their possible lowest is hard. You need to be more active in the market and check out which of those have dropped significantly and if you think that coin is worthy to buy at its lowest then you just repeat the strategy.
