7381  Economy / Speculation / Re: One reason why bitcoin may be surging on: October 15, 2017, 12:00:52 PM
This is certainly a big step! One step closer to the real money and traders!!! :-)

The real bottleneck was the fiat settlement. Banks take such a long time to transfer money from your account to the exchange's bitcoins. The real surge will come when other assets are traded using bitcoins. Think about it, if you can buy facebook shares using bitcoin, and both assets are settled immediately (instead of the t+2 settlement mechanism in place now).

That is a great Idea if we really want bitcoin to surely surge into the $100,000 level more easily and right now the exchange in the fiat money are base on the main fiat currency the dollar, but if different assets can easily traded with bitcoin I think that will make a convenient and more fast transaction we can ever have, and this report is just one part on how bitcoin surge that much,
7382  Other / Meta / Re: Lost access saturday night. on: October 15, 2017, 11:50:05 AM
The problem is that i never :

- write a bitcoin address on the forum
- write a magic word to retrieve the account
- change the password or ask for this
- change the email

Must i re-write an other PM to cyrus with the privates informations like the PM to theymos ?

Wow! a legendary account that is so sad to know that a legendary account would be hack in the forum, I really feel you man but I think you need to PM theymos the proper information that he needed to simply make a change password request, I think you should read this link

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0

And simply read much information needed if possible I think this could really answer what you want to know.
7383  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Wild Ride of Bitcoin on: October 15, 2017, 11:30:39 AM
It truly has been a wild ride for Bitcoin so far. 2017 has been a year which has actually shown us the potential of Bitcoin. The daily barbs by Jamie Dimon and others make me more comfortable about my Bitcoin investment.

People like Dimon haven’t got a clue about bitcoin or what the future holds, it’s like a mechanic having an opinion on how to be an accountant, totally different fields.

The man is an idiot, the long term trend of bitcoin price is up, up & up. This will continue.

I Agree with you that bitcoin can not be stop by some corrupt Business executive and investor to be the only one to be successful and I think he would surely want to get rid of bitcoin so his success in the banks will continue, nothing can sure stop bitcoin not even an Altcoin that has an Networking scheme in it because bitcoin is a n upward trend and has a year of foundation on it's back.
7384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Industry Experts Believe Bitcoin Headed to $6,000 on: October 15, 2017, 10:39:23 AM
I think they base their assumption on the past few months of bitcoin it actually shows that in just few month bitcoin almost doubled its price last July we only have $2700 worth but now bitcoin reach $5700 very impressive and still continue to increase thats why many says it can soar to $6000

Assuming we can get to the $6000 mark value if we can? because there are resistance that are involve but certain expert think that we can sure reach the elusive $6000 mark value, because the industry is in an uproar right now for bitcoin and many bitcoin enthusiast are holding more into bitcoin right now because of the free coins they can get I really this many are thinking like this, and because bitcoin fluctuates so much it can surely soar in that elusive price cap that is $6000 mark value.
7385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Regulations on: October 15, 2017, 09:27:27 AM
The government will always try to regulation of bitcoin and getting the taxes from it, for example right now Russia’s regulators have revealed how they plan to find and tax cryptocurrency miners as well as license them. This follows their meeting with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. At the meeting, they agreed to regulate cryptocurrency mining, alongside cryptocurrencies themselves including bitcoin. Last week, the finance ministry proposed creating a registry of crypto miners. https://news.bitcoin.com/russian-regulators-tax-license-cryptocurrency-miners/ the world always try getting our money include our bitcoin.

The Government would sure Find ways in regulating and taxing bitcoin, I really think this will be fair with regular employee's, businessmen, and everybody that has business involving fiat currency because they are all giving tax that is needed in the amount of salary they have, I really think it is OK to implement this but in a way that it can be fair to everybody and I think it will need everybody's opinion with this because bitcoin is not own by only one person and that will be very hard to regulate.
7386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people are sharing tips? on: October 14, 2017, 11:35:03 AM
Some would surely want to share what they think about some games and what they think about the result, but there are some in this forum they tend to share their tips so they can get some free bitcoin but it is up to them if they want to give bonus to the tipsters, and some tipsters here are mostly well known because of the accurate prediction that they make, that is why they use it as a mean of earning come bitcoin if they could predict a good tips.
7387  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC next level on: October 14, 2017, 10:48:37 AM
You can not have a definite answer for now, because bitcoin still correcting it's All time high it can still reach the $6000 mark value we will eventually know when the 25 October come and we can sure see the value we can definitely say what is the safe mark bitcoin can get. but for now let's just sit and relax, because we can sure see the new level of bitcoin and the free coins after stocking some bitcoin in your wallet.
7388  Other / Meta / Re: Disallow Airdrops on: October 14, 2017, 10:17:10 AM
It is just free coins they want to distribute! yes it is just free coins and we can sure call it as a bonus, but let's look on the bright side and the negative side well the bright side would be many users are gonna be attract with Crypto because of this but in the negative side so is the users with multiple account that will surely put all of his account in every airdrop he can get, well it can be use by multi account users, but it is still a good thing to start with other coins.
7389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do to earn btc and altcoins? on: October 14, 2017, 09:25:32 AM
it's true that many people get crypto with bounties and trades, they do the daily routine by doing that as well as I am no different from the others, but there are other activities I do on my daily routine to get the crypto is by making a post every day because I was following a signature campaign that could pay every week.

Well that is the main thing they are doing in earning with Altcoins and that is the only thing I think you can do and let's add up mining too, well there are threads here that actually gives free coins, but I don't consider it as earning but just a bonus, and sometimes they are just giving trash coins so it is just good for dumping.
7390  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2008 Again on: October 14, 2017, 08:10:08 AM
What is this a crash that will go down to $2008 mark value or just like what happen in the year 2008? well OP must be confuse while posting this thread, if it is $2008 mark value then I think the price would not go down below the $4000 mark value because I think that is the safe cap we can get right now, and if you are talking about the year 2008 bitcoin was not introduce until 2009 so I think there is no crash introduce by 2008 and just an increase in the value.
7391  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin drop back down? on: October 14, 2017, 06:35:50 AM
That is normal to bitcoin and it will tend to go down anytime but I think were gonna have a big dip when we go near the 25 of October when the Hard Fork occur, but I think we can see some resistance involving bitcoin going to the $6000 mark value, and I wish we can just stay in the $5000 value but there's a possibility that we can still the $4000 when the dip occur, expect everything that could happen to bitcoin.
7392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin being a top currency on: October 14, 2017, 06:01:07 AM
Bitcoin is a very fast booming and rising currency and I have been hearing about there being a physical bitcoin I mean in the form of a metal.

Yes there is, however its for commemorative only.

https://www.amazon.com/Gold-Bitcoin-Commemorative-Round-Collectors/dp/B00J2B0KEO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1507384791&sr=8-2&keywords=bitcoin

Quote
Now if this is possible I would like to know if bitcoin would be a generally accepted means of payment in the next years to come and what are the possibilities of other currencies meeting it( I mean in demand and supply)

Don't presume or think that Bitcoin is a physical fiat that could be generated physically, you misunderstood this, Bitcoin is a virtual technology driven currency, it has been created thru the peoples network and hashes. It is already accepted means of payment to a certain merchants around the globe.

I have had a 1/2 oz Silver 0.25 BTC Lealana physical coin that can be loaded with bitcoin if the user sees fit, though that doesn't technically mean that it belongs to one of the minted coins by mining as bitcoin can only be acquired digitally by solving complex algorithms and whatnot. Also along the way, it wouldn't be impossible for bitcoin to be accepted in giant stores and groceries since tech stores such as NewEgg have already began accepting it and others might followed suit with the help of BitPay.

I really like dothebeats idea about bitcoin yes bitcoin is digital and not like other currency that is fiat money that can be sure in certain exchange in stores and other merchant, we can surely put bitcoin in a physical body that can be its container and I think everyone here knows that we have physical bitcoin, and yes I think bitcoin can be easily accept in the merchant and store by a digital transaction that some are using right now and I think it is now common in the united states, so we can sure use bitcoin in any transaction in the future.
7393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in wa state on: October 13, 2017, 03:24:14 PM
I really think there are states in the U.S. and on some province mostly that rarely been using bitcoin or doesn't enough knowledge on bitcoin, it really happens sometimes that there are some rural places that doesn't have much technology to settle and use some of the technology that have been using for transaction towards bitcoin, and I think not only in the U.s. but in some country too have this kind of problem.
7394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Jamie Dimon on: October 13, 2017, 02:30:35 PM
Cheesy He just stop from commenting and how he sees the All Time High right now, I really think he is profiting from the price of bitcoin right now, or waiting for the right time on making a FUD again if it reach another level, or he admits that he can not win against bitcoin and pledged to ever stop commenting about bitcoin, and said to the article I recently red It’s almost as if bitcoin’s whales are toying with him.
7395  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin prices after 25 october on: October 13, 2017, 01:59:14 PM
A lot can not really say what can really happen in that date so far it is a big question mark, but I think we can make it big in the new All Time High of $6000 mark value before the Oct 25 and until the hard fork, but we can really know if the price would still go straight up.
7396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $123 for few minutes on: October 13, 2017, 01:47:48 PM
Nice Winnings you got there but the number of bets was pretty large I think, but at least you have earn from it, even though you had so much number of losses, because gambling really works that way and it has so much risk in winning in it, but you didn't put what kind of game you had bet on?
7397  Other / Meta / Re: Google Captcha on: October 13, 2017, 01:20:25 PM
I think t is just a safety measure to avoid bots logging in! I don't see how it can feed the US wars!
And even if you want them to change it, you should atleast give some choices, who knows one of the choices you give is better than google captcha and they change it!

OP's funny for thinking like that all of this Captcha whether it is on google this Forum and what ever place in the internet all of this is for security purpose to really secure your information and Every single bits in your account, I really think it is not for the purpose of hacking but in terms of security purpose only.
7398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH on it's way on: October 13, 2017, 12:50:38 PM
ETH just might make it as big as bitcoin in the future, being known as much as btc. Will ETH make it's way in the upcoming years despite the price being around 350-400$.  ETH just may surpass btc in the market trading with bigger companies and bigger investors.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/recent-ethereum-upgrade-may-make-wall-street-fall-in-love-with-blockchain

That has been the main speculation for ETH since this year, when everyone talked about the great Flippening about to happen. Remember that when Bitcoin almost hit $3000 and ETH was $400? And people said, wow, more than 10% of Bitcoin value. Well, every time ETH tries to climb back to $300 like now, Bitcoin is making new ATHs. Flippening is not happening, we have to accept that and move on.

Wall Street has to stop loving Bitcoin first too.

Maybe that news was a fake too, recently the number of fake news all over the internet and in this forum was greatly increase if you would see the title of every article it looks convincing but the content has no real meaning at all, and I think many newbies and some bitcoin users that doesn't have much knowledge about bitcoin would certainly caught up with the hype that is not really happening. but I think bitcoin had something to do with the increase and together with the hype it is really kicking in.
7399  Economy / Speculation / Re: $6000 comming through on: October 13, 2017, 12:34:12 PM
The All Time High that is $5000 will be a past when we hit the $6000 mark value that is but expect that to happen because of the so much buying that is happening right now, that is the only guess that is in my mind right now that is why the value of bitcoin had reach this kind of level.
7400  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin's rally really about BTG? on: October 13, 2017, 12:14:35 PM
I really think it is because of the BTG hype and not because of BTG it is just a hype because of the recent Fork all bitcoin user might want to get free Coins just like what happen with bitcoin cash, I really never expect much in bitcoin gold but the hype is real, or it is because of the fake news that is why there are so much hype involve.
