Bitcoin is a very fast booming and rising currency and I have been hearing about there being a physical bitcoin I mean in the form of a metal. Now if this is possible I would like to know if bitcoin would be a generally accepted means of payment in the next years to come and what are the possibilities of other currencies meeting it( I mean in demand and supply)

Don't presume or think that Bitcoin is a physical fiat that could be generated physically, you misunderstood this, Bitcoin is a virtual technology driven currency, it has been created thru the peoples network and hashes. It is already accepted means of payment to a certain merchants around the globe.

I think bitcoin is not physical, because bitcoin is a digital currency, if there is a bitcoin physical form it is just a replica and its value is not the same as the real bitcoin.

Yes it is correct that the currency of bitcoin is fast moving from low to high. It is not surprising that as of now, the bitcoin is on the top currency because there are a lot of investors and people who supports it. I read also about creating a actual bitcoin that can be use to buy anything on the market but I think they will study it first because it has a lot of effect on our economy.

there are still need more time before bitcoin become legitimate currency, bitcoin still have to be accepted to all of country in the world, and all people have to know how to use bitcoin. if all of that is complete. still have little problem about the price of bitcoin which is very volatile. so bitcoin need to really stable to become currency

I have had a 1/2 oz Silver 0.25 BTC Lealana physical coin that can be loaded with bitcoin if the user sees fit, though that doesn't technically mean that it belongs to one of the minted coins by mining as bitcoin can only be acquired digitally by solving complex algorithms and whatnot. Also along the way, it wouldn't be impossible for bitcoin to be accepted in giant stores and groceries since tech stores such as NewEgg have already began accepting it and others might followed suit with the help of BitPay.

I think it could be used as a generally accepted means of payment however not in the way you describe.
Bitcoin is a virtual currency that uses peer-to-peer, which means person to person without a bank controlling the currency (decentralized).
When physical Bitcoins would be made, the currency wouldn't be decentralized because there would need to be a company that creates these coins.
It's also inefficient, the only way I think of a uses would be coins with a value on it which could be redeemed to a wallet by scanning a QR code or manually typing a phrase. But that would be the same as just directly scanning a QR from a phone and you don't need a coin for that.

Bitcoin is completely digital form of currency but yes it can be recognized as legal currency in most of the countries by next few years as more and more merchants have started accepting bitcoin.

There are still many countries where trading bitcoin is considered illegal like in my country.  Angry Some government are morons, I can't stop myself from laughing when I see most of the news/media outlet here writing all nonsense about bitcoin.

Bitcoin might be a relatively acceptable means of paying for goods and services in a few years, but it will still need a lot of people to be willing to accept Bitcoin or use it in some capacity for that to be a reality. That's going to require a fair amount of growth and activity, and that's something that might not be easy unless there is some considerable demand for Bitcoin, which might be in the form of new people joining the community or just more activity from existing members.

It is unlikely other cryptos will be able to hit the same level as Bitcoin at any part of their lifespan.

Making Bitcoin physical would kind of defeat the purpose. I don't think it's possible, but if it is, it won't be sustainable. Also, it having a physical form won't impact acceptance at all, since being digital has never been a problem.

I think there is already a Bitcoin in a physical form like a literal real coin but it is not for paying stuff just like the fiat money. And yes it could be possible in the future once the government would accept bitcoin all over the world as a form of payment even on the over the counter things we buy. But this is really very far from the real thing.

I too heard about these physical bitcoin which are called casascius coins which has a bitcoin valvue depending on the material and its balance.  Casascius coins has a paper like thingy inside it which has a private key embedded into it that has Bitcoins inside once redeemed. So yeah, it's like a paper wallet and nothing more.

Yes I hope so in the near future bitcoin will be the top currency it has the potential because the transaction of this crypto currency is increasing day by day which will make the future of bitcoin bright. In a simple saying bitcoin get much popularity in a very short time which is the sign of success. Therefor we should invest in this type of currency to get excess amounts in the future.

currently most of countries have doubts about bitcoins just because of they cannot control this in last few months we have some positive ways for bitcoins as Japan Taiwan giving soft policies for this and China is also working on this hope this could help and bitcoin could be top currency but still long way to go for this journey

You can get a physical bitcoin as a sort of trinket, but it is essentially useless in of itself

You can however use it to hold your bitcoin(s) key

Bitcoin being a top 'currency' indeed sounds very good and has a possibility.
but if we want to become like that,do not you think that we need a physical to back it up ?
if that thing happen,i think Bitcoin itself will lose its value.
even though we heard about casascius(indeed it's real and you can buy it on ebay),it still do not have any use in a real life.
it's more like a jewelry in my opinion and does not used as a payment method.

in the next few years later on,
every countries will regulated every exchanger,so they can track and record everything that we have.
that time there'll be a time for Bitcoin to get used by people and generally accepted.

The physical bitcoin that you are referring is called "Casascius bitcoin".

https://www.casascius.com

However, I do not think that the physical bitcoin will be mass produce to be used like the usual coins we have. However, you can spend it because the private key is embedded on the coins if I'm not mistaken. So you can import it directly to your Core wallet or Electrum.

Bitcoin is intangible currency and cannot be mold in physical form any how. It works on restricted ecosystem known as Blockchain. When someone send Bitcoins from one address to other, there is no real movement. But there is just transfer of ownership from one address to other. So even if someone says transferring paper wallet is physical movement of Bitcoin, he is wrong as when the other person import keys, he is just transferring ownership, not Bitcoin itself.

i think the physical bitcoin is not bitcoin, its different than bitcoin. bitcoin don't have any physical yet and i am not sure if there will be bitcoin physical and i am curious how it looks like. soon after more country approve bitcoin, bitcoin can be use as payment like money itself. but for now, we can use bitcoin in internet and we can do trade for increase our amount. i think bitcoin now is in the top currency and people out there is only know bitcoin than the other coins but after they are in crypto world (in exchanges), they will learn that there is many coins inside the crypto currency world.
