Apple offers education discounts. Is that subsidized?
I've never heard of that. Do you have a link?

LOL

If you didn't keep this forum alive with donations I'd LMGTFY you...

Cool. But what does this have to do with the OP?

In real life, amazingly incredible machines are built by huge government run or at least subsidized enterprises. I didn't see any government try to take Steve Jobs' work away from him because it wasn't that amazing.

On episode 3 of Scott Aukerman's Comedy Bang Bang TV show, Jon Hamm read a line with 'baby penis' in it.

Haven't read Atlas Shrugged, but I did see the first movie (second has yet to be released). It is bone-chilling how similar it is to reality. If you want to not be fucked over by the government and run an honest business these days, then you need to ask: Who is John Galt?

Evil is the root of all fiat.

I don't even trust any government to render first aid.

What's with the 3 pattern? 3 lines, the 3 shape. What about just moving the largest line over and attaching it to the shape, so it forms a B?

There's enough room on there that you could cross out the N and put M.

Apparently there are a few states that have 0 Chase banks.

But, but... {tyrannical pro-criminal safety advocacy here}!

His response last time I used this argument was "The police aren't there to protect you, they enforce the law. You want protection, call the national guard".

 Roll Eyes

That actually makes sense, but with a darker meaning, given Warren v DC and all the "police aren't required to protect anyone at all" cases. Police can and often do choose to enforce undeniably (unless you love dancing in blood) unconstitutional laws such as "gun control" that does nothing but keep criminals alive and well and innocent victims defenseless to be murdered, raped, and maimed with impunity.

The National Guard was called out to provide protection during the last major civil rights struggle, integration/desegregation. I hope they do the same to put tyrannical evil fucks like Bloomberg, Booker, Emmanuel etc... in their constitutional place, when they inevitably end up in contempt of SCOTUS and surround themselves with their respective jurisdictions' almost universally tyrannical police brass, a few tyrannical line officers, and heavy weaponry to resist the US Marshals serving the arrest warrants.

I'm not sure why more people in the US don't use this, it seems like a no-brainer to me!

Last time I banked with Chase they took advantage of me.  The current plan is to never bank with them again.

Go on...?

The only thing pissing me off about Chase right now is their forcing me to re-opt out of their privacy violations regularly. There's no option for "until I die, tell nobody anything about me".

I have wealth because I provide services or goods and people pay me for it. Compulsory charity is tyranny and nobody gets to browbeat me into throwing my money into a tyrannical pit.

I don't have health insurance, I don't need nor want to be covered and then receive borderline malpractice and live in hell like everyone I know who receives regular non-emergent western medical care. I am also a strategically risky person and have never been to (or by any stretch of the imagination, needed) the ER for anything, not even a broken bone or sutures. I don't feel ripped off paying in cash for stuff like nevus removal or stuck earwax irrigation/removal (those were a looong time ago). And if my luck or risk strategies run out, I will pay the consequences, bankruptcy or DNR.
