That would be amazing but I don't think we will ever live to see this happen, the market cap would have to be phenomenal for us to see a Bitcoin valuation at one million dollars. Only real way is if the Dollar crashes badly like Zimbabwe

I don't see that happening it has finally touched $1,000 for the first time and for sure there will be some profit taking soon which may see if fall back by 10 - 20%. Maybe some further growth during 2018 but I would be really surprised if it reaches 2,000 at any point,

I think in a few cases it has been used but to state it is widespread I am sure that this is more media hype to trash Bitcoin reputation than a reality. Now that you need to be fully KYC with any exchange the annonumity of withdrawing to FIAT is gone not to mention new tax regulations.

Centra has really evolved in the past 2 weeks, for ages we were saying just wait till the wallet and cards are released and you will see a change. Happy for all of those that were patient enough to wait and accumulate under $1. I received my Black card just before New Year and will be making my first purchase today with it a Pizza!

I have held Ripple since 19c with a further buy in at 74c when it dipped from about 92c. I have a healthy low average and am nicely in profit with this coin. I thikn it has further to go and as it's a small part of my portfolio I am not worried about it day to day. Maybe consider selling 80% and leave 20% free and clear to see if it can double from current levels

If you look at the percentage of the global population that is currently involved with crypto it will probably be less than 1% but it is gaining ground and awareness so if that number even doubles to 2% think about how much new capital that will bring into the space. Everyone researching crypto has heard about Bitcoin and it is likely the first place they will think of investing so for now I don't see any chance of BTC = $0

I now have 2 options to achieve this goal, although I am a Brit I don't live there anymore so use $ as my cash ut option although it will work just as well with Sterling. I have used kraken for a while, convert my crypto to FIAT on their platform. You have pay be a withdrawl fee so make sure you are doing a reasonable amount that it doesn't become a large %
Now I have a Centra card to use, can spend Crypto anywhere there is a Mastercard symbol or withdraw cash from an ATM it is a godsend

I think the Blockchain is making its way to many new applications and industries to improve the accountability of operations and also to negate and fraudulent activities. This new scheme for keeping public records has many benefits and not just financial.

The first batch shipped where the Black and Titanium cards I think around 100 people have received so far and more will be shipping out once the office gets back to work today. The conversion rates seem to be pretty favourable from what I have seen ususally slightly better than what is shown on Binance at the time of conversion.

A happy New year to you and everyone else in the crypto space, my hope for 2018 is for a jump in the percentage of the global population that are invovled with crypto. We are getting close to a tipping point and with more investment coming into the space prices of all desirable tokens will rise accordingly

If you can find a good ICO, and at the moment this appears to be the most popular or highly rated ones then you can still get a winner in terms of value appreciation. Some of them are still delivering 10x profit when they hit the exchanges, however picking the wrong one can leave you investment flat or depreciating.

It looks to me like the Asian markets (Japan and S Korea) were the initial catalyst in boosting Bitcoin from around the $11,000 level to almost touching $20,000. However if you look at some of the Korean exchanges then prices were ofter 15 - 20% higher than others. I think Bitcoin is just pausing to take a breather but as the most well known currency where do you think new money is going to go first?

Thanks for the info bitroad, very helpful

Bitcoin is such high value that I don't see any other sensible storage option than an offline wallet. You need to be in full control of your assets and not leave them vunerable to a hack or foul play shutdown of an exchange. Bitcoin Core has always worked well for me but may look into a Ledger soon for extra security.

Of course it can be surpassed by another currency in market cap value and why shouldn't it? Ripple is climbing right now and just taken over the No 2 spot from Ethereum. It is almost half the cap of Bitcoin now and with such a low single toke price it can easily overtake Bitcoin.

Anywhere between $7m and $15m I think is a reasonable figure for ICO capital raised. Most of these business ideas will require a full staff of people to make them work properly as well as renting offices. ICO like Tezos where a little ridiculous and its for the best that those days of hundred millions raised are gone.

I have predicted that Ripple would rise and hold above $1 by the end of 2017, and it has already surpassed that. It seems to be following the pattern of many of the other top tier alts that stayed areound the same low end value for months at a time and then went on a steady climb to mulitple times. XRP has a stated use for the Banking industry for one and that I am sure will see its value increase vastly.
I think $5 by this time in 2018

I am not using it yet myself as I have plenty of other options, however my top coin Centra listed on there a few weeks ago, and whilst the volumes are still light compared to other exchanges they see to be doing a decent volume agaisnt Tether.

Any information on how I can start mining this coin, I couldn't see anything relevant on the website as yet.
Also how will people get access to the transferred funds, solely through the Debit card or there will be options to cash out to Fiat?
