I have one question that really bug me sometimes, Are ICOs going to end or new ideas and projects will emerge along with ICOs. Many of us actually rely on bounty to earn other than investing. As long as there is ICO I believe there will be bounty. It will be a sad day for us if ICOs are declared officially dead.
Maybe not. ICO's might continue but without bounties. There are two things driving things in this direction. More and more countries are attempting to regulate ICO's and if you look at how securities are marketed in IPO's there are a lot of restriction about what can be said to promote it to investors. With bounties you don't have this control. This could leave the company doing the ICO open to being sued by investors if they claim they were tricked into investing by false claims. The other thing is fraud. Too many ICO's are turning out to be frauds and this is detering investors. We may see the emergence of responsible third parties that act as investment advisors and as gate keepers for their clients by screening all the ICO's they recommend for fraud.
