Just close the client and restart with   -rescan   from the CLI.

In windows I have opened the terminal and tried "./bitcoind -rescan"

I tried "Bitcoin.exe -rescan" and also gotten nothing

Obviously I'm very n00b Sad

Bitcoin QT 0.8.1Beta

Using QT 4.8.3
please update to the latest version. It contains many bugfixes and security patches.

Do I uninstall the old one...

What is the process?

And BTW I just sent money to myself with that account number and did not receive it lol

It does show coming from that account and being received Smiley

What is the public address so we can take a look at what is happening.

Im new to bit coin.. since there seems to be an issue in the transfer is there no risk in giving out the address number?

746  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN IN-STOCK SHIPPING!] batch #23/24 .18 btc USB + 4 btc NEW Blade miners on: September 08, 2013, 01:09:02 PM
He mentioned ahile back that 1-Back Plane comes with every 10-Blades.
I do not believe they can be obtained other than that way.
Canary mentioned they would be made available for those who buy 10
Then next in line who buy closest to 10-Blades.

Not much of a go getter are you Cheesy

Never got caught getting cookies out of the cookie jar

Hay Canary I need a Backplate so I can order my 2 Blades. Make it happen  Cool

Canary, can I get one blade with a backplane and how much would it cost? I can't afford getting 10 blades immediately. I grew my rig with your USBs and now ready to jump to blades, but can do it only slowly. Thank you.
It's reserved for orders of 10 at a time.  I'll ask friedcat for more and let you know.

I asked this question a few pages ago myself...

Well I guess it was not in the form of a question:

What is
Canary please order lots of extra backplanes as I'd like to purchase one for my next order that will be < 10 Blades.

Cheesy

We do not know if they will be available for purchase individually.

My question as well.

Okay I was able to test 3.1.4 out of the folder directly and it still just uses the cpu's

I tried all the -S arguments I could find and none of them worked....

Help Sad

Okay I can see that the opensuse package download system d/l'd the 3.0 version and I had the 3.1.4 on Ubuntu..

I'm still new to Linux in Windows I would uninstall old version but Linux does not seem to go that way.

Do I just Manually install 3.1.4?

I had BFGminer running my Erupters on my Ubuntu machine and I just switched to an OpenSuse machine and it's not working...

lsusb list all the erupters.

Any ideas?

Also I'm installing Bitcoin-Qt on the new machine now (takes a while) and the Ubuntu machine had it already. Is that necessary for it to run?

btw it opens BFGminer and tries to use the cpu's

I've tried all the variations of "./bfgminer -o http://api.bitcoin.cz:8332 -u XXXXXX -p XXXXXX -S All" ie. -S erupter:all and the timing settings and no go.

How many hashes are you getting on it?

If I leave my computer on the whole month it's $30 in electricity...

Here is a chart to give u and idea. I never tried after I did my research...

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

1 Erupter does more Mh then the k4000
754  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Nvidia Quadros? on: August 26, 2013, 06:57:35 PM
ya less then the cost of electricity... I have a k5000 for my work and it's no dice Sad
755  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: August 26, 2013, 06:27:21 PM
That sounds good, but how much did you invest? ;p

avg .38 BC per Erupter and I had all 36 running for less then a week and gotten 1.1BC (Difficulty change in past day or so.)

So maybe break even @ 6 months unless BC goes up in value then sooner. Down in value the L8R...

What is the total hashrate, what do you mine and how much do you get?

It's 12gh and it's about .10BC a day at this point.

Contacted OP a bit ago... seems in a good mood and ask that I let you know he will be on L8R today.

I'm new here and to mining so maybe a n00b question but why does Slush's pool consistently show a lower average hash rate then my cgminer readout?

It was correct up until I got above 9gh now @ 12gh slush's pool consistently reports 10gh-11gh... cgminer has it @ 11.95 to 12.3 @ all times while the 5s average has a big swing in which the lowest hash rate seems to be the one recorded as THE average on slush's pool.

Normal?
