If altcoins go down the only thing you can do is buy more and hold them. Cause the whole market conditions is far below form all time high. And if it's go down in this situation that mean if you invest you will make profit later. And don't put all your money in one place or at a time. Invest in parts. And if you already invested and in loss then hold them tight and never sell a coin in loss. This market is purely volatile and ups and downs comes every time. So dont think about it and do some research on your own and make your own choice.

I never preferred that hold all coin in a single wallet. Cause it's always risky to hold all the coins in a single wallet. I always split my investment and the wallets also. I have 3 ethereum wallet( most of my coins are eth based) two of them are like stored I never opened them if it's not urgent and one of them I use for normal transaction. And I never use exchange wallets or any kind of wallet which supports all coins in one place. I rather prefer office wallets for each. I know each is hard to Manage but I think it's better than being dead or havker.

It depends on you. And many factors are with it. The profit margin is good for you. If you invest a lot in then it's fine to take some money out. And hold some for long term. And if you can take the risk then you would hold all your investment. It's hard to answer this type of question. But I can give you one suggestion that if your are into a single coin the risk factors are greater. So better split your investment. And ethereum is a good coin and market is far low than it's ath so you can hold. We all know market will recover more. Now it's upto you what ever you do take your own dicision and do some research before any step.

This whole ieo things become more popular and strong market hold. Last year we saw most of the icos failed during ICO phase. Cause people are afraid to invest. Many people lost their money in ICOs either I scam or ending in a big loss. But this hole IEO thing is more trusted than ICO. There is lots of exchange which is trusted and when they offer something it's always fine to buy. Binance kucoin and huobi is fine as a IEO platform but now almost every small and medium cap exchange start to promote IEOs and that can be a disaster, and not so trusted project. I read about eosex bgogo bx exchange offer IEO and they are hard to find. I don't know what they will offer.

Ok if you checked some history you will see that there was not that much stable coins. But there were some but most of them are not so popular. Tether was the most used stable coin in that time. But after tether FUD or news we see many stable project comes in this market and people not properly trusted tether. So they used to use other stable coins. I think we need stable coin in this market but that not mean we need many types of stable coin. But somehow they not harm the market. So it's fine if there is many kind of stable coin atleast for me.

In terms of Bitcoin I appreciate your thoughts. I also think in near future Bitcoin will be come as a valuable asset more than a digital currency. Or they both happen in paralle. But I don't think if you still consider Bitcoin as a crypto then it's hard for any altcoin to cross Bitcoin. And if somehow it's gonna happen then it will not be cardano. Cause cardano and Bitcoin they are very different form each other so it's make no sense that you compare bitcoin with cardano. Cardano is a good coin and it will go further than we thought but its hard for cardano to cross Bitcoin.

Ethereum developers already announced  ethereum 2.0 and Constantinople hardfork. First time that was postponed to a new date. But they successfully did it on second time. So the hardfork is  already done. Now they work on the phase where they work on scalability issues and transaction issues. And maybe they will changed from POW to POS. But they said that it will take time to establish full POS to work on the platform. But they are working on it.

I don't think that new coins are worthless. For the ICO hype is still kind of on. New projects are coming day by day and we all know most of them are scam or wannabe failed project in some time. But for this ico ecosystem many new projects comes with great vision. And they are really work hard to do something in this market. Like LTO network, BitTorrent, Nex and  many more. So I know this whole system is full of scammers but still we there is some good project too. So all new coins are not worthless maybe most of them but not all.

If you talk about market al then yes XRP is competing with ethereum for a long time and maybe for few days it crossed ethereum. But after ethereum 2.0 announced and the t hardfork ethereum again take its place back. And yes for last few days market condition is good but before that market is not so well. And I think when market is bleeding that is the patfect time for investment. Don't invest all your money in this type of situation but partly. And one more think I never hasitate to invest in altcoins af long as the project is good for me.

Yeah you are kind of right. Wherever the money goes scammers come anyway. They will chase down ieo in few days and make this whole thing less interesting and full of discounting. But I also think that it's a bit hard for scammers to get into IEOs than ICOs. Cause they have to choose one exchange and if that exchange is not supporting them then it's hard for them to enter the market. I I think Big exchangs do their own research then select a project for IEO. But the number of exchanges is growing day by day so it's easy to catch a small exchange and complete their scam

I am never into privacy coins. But I respect their thought and now many big gaunt start to support privacy coins too. I think Monet is one of the oldest and great privacy coin. Their are lot more old coins which are great and you mentioned in your post like dash and zcash. They are also good. When verge came I thought that it will be the best privecy coin they got the speed and all. Verge is good but some how over hyped by many people I don't know why. Pivx is good and many privacy coins comes this days. If I have to support them I will pick monero , pivx from the list and a new one some one mentioned veil and Litecoin( Litecoin also announced privacy update).

Maybe or maybe not. They both are platform based project and they have to give hard competition to each other. And at this moment ethereum is the most used and most popular platform. And after ethereum 2.0 announced it again restored it's legacy. In other hand the idea of the cardano is very good. And people are expecting that cardano will eliminate everyone out. But it's still in development stage firm last few years. So we can compare a project which is the most used project with some other project which is not deliver yet.

Dr ends of which kind of wallets you are talking about. If it's a hardware wallet then it's very hard to crack or hack one. But there is lots of web wallet which can be hacked. Most of the time people hacked by their own mistakes. Yes, this is the main reason for hacker to take control. The most used trick by hacker is pishing. They send a link of a copy website. When you put your information they have the key then they just used it. That's it. And after all this internet people do the same mistake. So maybe wallets can be hacked but most of the time it's people themself.

If you have enough knowledge then you can save yourself form scam projects. But sometimes it's still hard to save yourself form a ico scam. First you have to check website and the project. Then you have to read the white paper most of the icons are dead at white paper so those who know how to the k a white paper they have the greater chance. Then you have to check the team and advisory board. But sometimes after checking everything we have to be in a scam ico. So if you don't have knowledge then don't go for a ico but if you have enough knowledge icons can give you a lots of profit.

There is many exchanges available at this moment some of them are centralised and some of them are decentralised. But at this moments centralised exchanges rule. Binance, kucoin okex ,huobi this are most used exchange at this moment. But if you want to talk about new exchange there is many more but I personally like some of them. One of them is switcheo it is a neo based exchange but they also supports ethereum. One of the best organised exchange I ever see. Easy to use but somehow they are not so much popular. Next one is bitmax it's very popular one. And day by day they are open to the new market more. And one more newly released exchange is velic. It's also looks really good.

Both of them are great project. But they are very much different form each other. Ethereum is a platform based token. It's the most used platform at this moment. In other hand ripple is a banking and money transfer related project. They are a well developed project. But still people don't like ripple cause they are centralised and backed by many banks. But if you see ripple is just a project then it is one of the best project at this moment. They both got high market cap. And as an investment they both are very good. I can't find anything to compare them cause they are form different background.

A altcoin price is depends on many factors and one of the cause is Bitcoin and ethereum. Cause in this market most of the altcoins are listed with BTC and ethereum pair. So it's easy that when the price of ethereum and Bitcoin is changing the price of altcoins also changed. But BTC and ethereum is not the cause about the price changing for altcoins. But now it's changing slowly there is lots of coins mainly the exchange based coin which is now a pair option. And ethereum is losing its popularity. But still BTC is like big boss. And it always will.

Investing in crypto is a good initiative at this moment. And Bitcoin is a good pick for that. If you are new to this market then I will say stick to Bitcoin and try to gather some knowledge about the market, the ecosystem, other coins. And after that you can go for top 20-30 coins. And when you are confident about your investment then you can take the risk and go for low cap coins. Cause if you saw the chart you will see mid and low caps coins give the ultimate profit. And I think in near future Bitcoin will break it's ath and will make a new all time high. Hope that time will come soon.
