Yes it is a legit coin for investment unfortunately the coin has been abandon by the developer for a long time , so probably you won't make any good profit from it, but it's not scam coin it's just old coin that seldom being used again, the chances of making profit with doge is small and the risk is high
I am quite interested in this coin although it is a very very old coin. I hope the DEV team can live again (their last update is in 2015 (Dogecoin wallet version 1.10.0)) |

I usually withdraw/deposite via an altcoin (for example: Ethereum, Syscoin, Dogecoin...) instead of bitcoin because bitcoin's fee is too high and it takes much more time to process
