So I have taken notice of this "coinbase effect" and I really believe that it is true. I think that people are downloading coinbase, seeing how high BTC is, and deciding to invest into LTC and ETH instead. I am NOT saying that these coins will pass BTC in any way, but I do think that LTC and ETH will be in the 4-10 thousands next year for sure. What you meant "beginner"?
I think beginner mean: you do not have much money, so you need an exchange(s) that:
- Easy to use/Easy to register is the most important (no need to verify by photo ID...)
- Low fee
When you have more money, you the most important factor when you choose exchange(s) is the reputation. If you deposit your money into a exchange that not legit, you may lose them all.
So:
- For beginner: Binance, Wex, Cryptonia, Bibox, Kucoin... is good choice
- Legit exchange you should consider: Bittrex, Bifinex, Poloniex

when a social media gets decentralized, does that automatically mean that nobody has control over content which means no one will be censored?
In bitcoin blockchain, every one can send/ receive money (bitcoin) but only the amount that confirmed by the network (mining system) is valid. I think decentralized social network may work in the same way. |

Before Bittrex was only doing alt/btc. Now it is doing fiat/btc. Is that why they are much stricter with delisting a coin because of regulations? It seems like all gambling coins were delisted from Bittrex.
