741  Economy / Economics / Re: Average savings across the globe on: September 12, 2019, 07:10:38 PM

This is why there are people in US now prefer to live in a smallspace house, you barely can lie straight but they build these kind of houses for people who wants to save.
But then the cost of living is pressuring as if the live in Tokyo specially in big cities in US.  Saving money is hard when you are single and wants to enjoy life, even harder when you have mouths to feed.

But if you live your life like every day is the last, why save?
You can gamble, fuck all the hookers you can find all night and be merry. Its not like you can bring those money to the grave.

Yes but savings are resources.

But sure If You are Young and full of energy Why not to enjoy the life fullest!

If I can save 1000 month then its a point.
If in can save 100-200 month That's small money to save!
742  Economy / Economics / Re: Average savings across the globe on: September 12, 2019, 06:08:27 PM
wonder why someone would earn $58,000 in a year and only  able to save $11000, is that not too low? What exactly did they spend their money on? Groceries or what? My country, with that $58000, I will surely save at least $30000 per year. For me, I am still able to save at least.

Some extremely rough averages for cost of living in the USA, sort of an average between individual and family numbers that I could find...

58000 (example income)
- 10497 (federal income tax)
- 2900 (state income tax, a very rough average, this can vary a LOT)
- 17796 (housing cost, including property tax)
- 1524 (gasoline for car)
- 1116 (car insurance)
- 5796 (car loan payment)
- 1800 (heating and a/c)
- 1200 (internet)
- 540   (water/sewage)
- 6602 (food)
- 960 (cellphone)
- 6924 (healthcare insurance)
- 6170 (healthcare insurance deductible - you must pay this before you get benefits from insurance)

=> 63825 average expenditure

leaving you with a grand total of -5825 usd you can sock away for your glorious poverty stricken retirement.

And the above doesn't include averaged college tuition cost, which you will most definitely need if you want to guarantee a chance at 58000 usd per year salary.

Note median household income in the USA is 61372 (from 2017) so there's approx 150 million people that are making lower than this. And it becomes a little clearer why the savings rate is so low.

No Wonder Why Trump want rate cuts, its a Economic regressions over usa now That's Why.

Rate cut will be the artificial way to boost economy until new regressions.

Bitcoin gains are taxed as capital income in Finland. They are treated the same way as dividens, rent or other similar income - labour taxation is a separate item.

Profits from Bitcoin trading become subject to income when they are traded into currency such as Euro or dollars, or alternatively when products are bought using the virtual cryptocurrencies. The tax percentage for capital income in Finland is 30% (in 2018) for sums under 30,000 euro and 34% in excess.

Tax will only need to be paid for the profits (cost-benefit) part of online Bitcoin trading. Citizens are expect to report their capital income in the annual tax filing. Before tax year 2017 unreported taxes were not collected, but now the tax authorities are employing technologies to match bank transfers and Bitcoin transactions.

This means the due amount can be collected as back taxes. In addition to trading with cryptocurrencies mining activities are also subject to taxes. Mining is seen as work requiring effort, and it is taxed like income from employment. Bitcoin mining is thus taxed using the progressive income tax.

For further details about how much tax was imposed on capital gains you need to google it.

Some Exchangers have limits per month,
Some have slow process like 2 days!

What is the best way to cash out?  And how about taxes?   If my bank account will Receive Some random ammounts funds from cryptocurrency dealing companies... Like a this is not clear to me.

How do i Even declare the cryptocurrency income?

But how is best way tax free?  Should i use just other accounts?  But then i have to give % to them... So it will be best to just paying taxes?
If you receive funds from regulated exchanges then it will be taxed as per the taxation system of your country or if your country doesn't regulate the crypto yet then it will just fall under the income tax and also you can include the source of money from the exchange reports.

What ammount is tax free?

749  Other / Serious discussion / We need Organisation or enforcement team to protect retail investors on: September 11, 2019, 08:34:35 PM
We need to protect retail investors!

Protection against Exchangers and someone need to check this stable coins creators actions.

There should be like Special forcement for that!

Also every bigger Exchangers should have insurance!

We should make this more not like Wild West!

Retail investor should have Protection against Exchangers and stable coins cartels!

Let's collect Some funds to set Up this enforcement team?
750  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Too strong KYC on: September 11, 2019, 08:23:03 PM
Guys if You want to trade on localbitcoins
Just little ammount like 30-50 $ you are going trhough some very Strong KYC.

THE Question is is that really Neccessary?
The other Question is how we can trust someone who collection our Information?

I think this is serious subject!

Instead of Checking the regular retail trader  nobody Don't check what the Exchangers are doing?  They can do what ever they want its no laws Wild West still!

My Question is Why the retail trader are most checked?  You do KYC Even for small money?
And You are giving ur Information to just someone who might do Something Bad with it.

KYC is required by law in most jurisdictions in order to stop people from doing money laundering. If you're using an app that doesn't use assets or things that have value which
can be transferred, you are most likely not required to verify with KYC. Instead, KYC helps solving certain problems such as hiding income taxes, stealing money from other people,
etc.

Now the problem is that some COMPANIES can use KYC for malicious purposes. For example, an attacker could run a "trusted exchange" and collect your KYC details to create an account elsewhere.

If you want to trade without KYC, I may be totally wrong however I think you need to go back in the past: 2013 - 2015 is calling you baby! I doubt there are places exchanges without KYC. You can bypass
KYC if you trade in person and find buyers/sellers in real life.

If i trade like a 100$   what Kind of taxes i try to invade?  Or money Loundering?

Is that Making any sense at all?

Or im missing here something?

Lol, this is very informative, I can't imagine that some people are even living above their earning to the extent of having debt. Could it be that their cost of living is high? If the cost of living is high, then they should cut it down, because no one can tell me that it is tax that does that.

I have made attempt several times to relocate to the united states, but they kept discouraging me that the standard of their living is too high and that they paid tax a lot, and this makes me wonder why someone would earn $58,000 in a year and only  able to save $11000, is that not too low? What exactly did they spend their money on? Groceries or what? My country, with that $58000, I will surely save at least $30000 per year. For me, I am still able to save at least.

Not everyone can just cut their cost of living at will.  People have medical expenses that aren't cheap and school in the United States is very expensive if you want to get a degree in something.  Housing costs are continually rising and employers aren't increasing wages of their employees except for high level executives.

That's true!
Speaccially in Uk where is very expensive but wages seems to be stay Same or Even going lower

Yea USA will be great Place to live, im sure I would love to live in Miami or new York, if new York then I would like to work at wall street... Lol

756  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed and Europe and Even Australia did rate cut but btc Still low on: September 11, 2019, 07:53:30 PM
Like what others have said there's no direct correlation between interest rates (whether it increases or decreases) on Bitcoin prices. I know it's expected that people are willing to spend more since their disposable income have increased but it doesn't mean that the money will be going all to the crypto market let alone buy Bitcoin from it. Disposable income can be spent in multiple ways not only throught investment so even the stock market cannot show an immediate effect when interest rates are down.

In order to invest and Making profit we have to follow to some indicators!
Its Easy to undestood if rates are low the assets are high due the inflation.  Btc is asset, Right?

And Yes 2017 was btc bull run due to high Fiat inflation, offcourse a lot cryptocurrency scams was out there, 2018 scammers dumped profits, As whales.
Those are facts

I always the etoro ad but haven't used them. I've seen videos of traders that are using them, how about that platform?

And do You think guys i can make better profit with regular Old school trading like a forex other then crypto?
Depends on your niche if you're good at traditional trading and investments, pursue it. I think I'm better at trading crypto although with technicals, I'm not really well but with experience that I have I guess I'll stay on crypto trading.

Nop!  Im not interested etoro
759  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and exchangers this is getting interesting Now guys!! on: September 10, 2019, 09:51:02 PM
When I first read you opening statement I disagreed, but then I saw the rest of your statement and understood.

I do P2P a lot as well but I still consider that an exchange. I think what you mean is that few people now buy from companies, and go directly to each other to get their crypto.

For me, it is almost the same anyway except if you buy from exchanges you are just using an extra middle man to find your trading partner,,, that is all.

If that so then  Price of btc Will stay 10k
But the Bakkt Launch Will Bring btc Up im sure, and then it might crash Again like a dotcom bubble was

That's what technical analysis is for. You might probably know by now, Bitcoin price is in a descending triangle pattern, a breakout to either direction would determine the price action in the months to come.

So we are waitong for breakout to wich Direction it Will Go?
