741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 17, 2023, 09:15:42 PM
snip.
Bayern Leverkusen has actually made significant strides under Xabi Alonso direction, temporarily holding the top spot in the standings. Although they have shown progress, maintaining this place is uncertain because Bayern Munich is still a fierce rival. Alonso tactical acumen was on display in their most recent game, which resulted in a draw versus Munich. With Dortmund lagging behind, Leverkusen title hopes appear doable this year, but consistency will be essential. In order to build a serious push for the Bundesliga championship, Alonso must continue to maximise the team potential and make sure they win every game.
If last season Leverkusen only succeeded in finishing in 6th place, then this season Leverkusen's chances of stopping in the top 3 are very big, with Alonso's good experience as a football player, he was able to build a strong team in defense and attack, i see his coaching style is similar to Jurgen Klopp.  So far, Bayern has always been superior to its opposing team when playing at home, but when facing Leverkusen, the two seem evenly matched, Leverkusen's opponent in the next match is Heidenheim, it will definitely be an easy match for them to win.

742  Other / Off-topic / Re: How has AI affected your job? Positively or negatively? on: September 17, 2023, 03:33:02 PM
Since the popularity of AI, a lot has changed in so many sectors;

1. Students now rely much on it for their assignments and it's almost difficult to engage the brain in constructive reasoning since AI can always come through for them
2. It has affected the graphic space since you can just do an AI portrait, or simple graphics for yourself using the AI tool, and the graphics guy is technically not needed anymore.
3. The coding guys are not even left out and although it has its advantages in all these sectors I feel it also has done a huge damage in increasing the rate of laziness on the part of the youth.

We are enjoying the ease that comes with doing things using AI at the snap of our fingertips but I fear that over dependent on it might have serious effects on society, in the years to come.

the thing that has the most significant impact because of AI's popularity now is that job opportunities are increasingly difficult to find. A few days ago the US government held a meeting with several technology experts who are also developing AI about the possible positive/negative potential of AI for human survival and comfort.

in this case the role of the government is very important in maintaining stable employment opportunities for everyone, if they don't want to provide that then the government is the one who must change, they can provide incentives for citizens affected by AI.  my real business has not been affected by AI, but i will always prepare myself if AI takes away the potential of my business, i will adapt.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to collect altcoins now or later? on: September 17, 2023, 02:03:02 PM
Planning about collection some MORE altcoins and thats why i manage extra money for that. But market situation is still confusing and today Altcoins dump minimum 10% even more. So is it really right to collect altcoins?  Or another dump will be coming before bull run? Should i postponed my invest or not? I post this in speculation sector cause we can only predict!  And I'll go with the most predicted result
There are many altcoins circulating currently, which altcoin do you want to buy?

i like your steps, which are quite careful before investing, i suggest you choose to buy altcoins whose price history is quite dependent on bitcoin price fluctuations, one of which is ethereum or bnb.  avoid buying tokens that can become playthings for speculators; including Ripple, Shiba Inu or Dogecoin.  just pay attention to the movement of the cryptocurrency market, when bitcoin is bullish, usually the altseason arrives late and when bitcoin enters a bearish moment, the altseason usually arrives.

744  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 16, 2023, 09:49:39 PM
Honestly if you have BTC congrats !!! We are heading  into a major economic shift and I feel like when the tides are turning like this there should be a conscious effort to land on the right side of that shift!!! Am I right? What should bitcoiners be doing right now to prepare for a potential global economic hardship other than the obvious which is to hodl and accumulate as much as you can...
when the global economy collapses, people's purchasing power will weaken and the wisest way is to maintain assets while currently there are not many investment assets that can be trusted like bitcoin (even the value of property assets is shaken when the global economy collapses), but when we make bitcoin the main focus of investment, we must have a stable income to be able to keep our bitcoin investment maintained even when the global economy collapses.  As time goes on, people are increasingly interested in investing in Bitcoin to maintain the value of their assets, so don't waste the opportunity to collect as much Bitcoin as you can when the price is still very cheap from ATH.
745  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational Parade on: September 16, 2023, 08:45:55 PM
I believe Everyone can be a regular gambler no one needs an education to be a regular gambler.   Anyone can be a gambler and gamble regularly.  The thing is, to be a responsible gambler education about how to moderate or control his gambling activities is needed.
That's what i mean, gambling is the same as the money you are holding, when you can't control your spending then you will just keep running out of money, but there are still many gamblers out there who don't understand this concept, so they end up thinking slots are a magical type of game which can double their money without needing a financial management strategy.

snip

It is good to know that you are advising the young people in your community about gambling moderation and what better is that these young people listen to you.  I believe you are well respected in your community because no one will listen to anyone if they do not respect them.
Actually, i don't feel respected, it's just that i often give them a little money and warn them that the money is only to be used for important purposes.
746  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or investment! What's your take? on: September 16, 2023, 08:06:43 PM
Since i got to know Bitcoin, i have noticed that the price will continue to fluctuate because of that i do both.. trading is not my basic but i continue to learn to be able to generate short and medium term profits from the trading activities that i do (i trade 50% of the bitcoin assets that i have), while the remaining 50% of the bitcoin that i have, i invest for my long-term profits, i have heard many predictions from several experts that the price of bitcoin will reach $1 million, i am sure of that prediction lol.

747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 16, 2023, 06:33:23 PM
AC Milan's performance in the first half was not like the previous 3 matches. AC Milan had difficulty penetrating Inter Milan's defense. The 3-5-2 formation used by Inzaghi succeeded in stopped every AC Milan attack and was able to made a counter attack quickly. I'm not sure AC Milan can score 2 goals in the 2nd half. The possible things is, Milan create a new record, losing 5 times from Inter in a row.  Cry
i really like the 3-5-2 formation used by Inzaghi, this strategy makes Inter's midfield more free to attack and defend, especially since Mkhitaryan has good stamina, he is very active, very free to move.  while for Milan, they actually made a mistake because they still depended on Groud's services, i saw that Giroud and Leao were not compatible, Giroud was already very slow, they had to look for a replacement for Giroud.

Juventus are very tough, they started this season very well, Vlahovic is also unstoppable, with 2 goals scored by Vlahovic against Lazio, he is currently in the top 2 positions in the Serie A standings with 4 goals.
748  Economy / Economics / Re: Building wealth it's not just one time Luck on: September 15, 2023, 11:33:44 PM
being rich is everyone's dream but it is not easy to build it, it takes hard work and good skills to achieve it, we all go to school to get a good education so we can get a decent income and that also takes quite a long time, which is very important to become someone who is rich is a circle of friends, if you are in the circle of entrepreneurs then you will get a lot of good business plans and a good exchange of information about the business and it doesn't take a moment to achieve it.  as long as you are able to imitate the way rich people work then you will be able to achieve that, but it is far from the opinion that being rich can be achieved in a short time (unless you win the big lottery)

749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 15, 2023, 10:17:27 PM
United new signings are good but no ready for league games. This is a challenging time for Erik Ten Hag, it would make his choice on the flopping defenders this season, having to watched a good sets of potential tackled defenders been ruled out of games, is hard for the coach to decide his new temporary XI. Manchester united wil face some difficulty in the backlines because the starting players are unavailable due to severed injuries. It's just unlucky to see Harry Maguire to be in the starting line-up for the Red Devils against a tough opponent like Brighton.
This season, MU has bought 4 new players, but the most prominent is Hojlund, while the other 3 still don't seem to be able to align with Ten Hag's strategy.  anyway, the thing that i really noticed was that the big mistake that MU made was throwing away De Gea and making Onana the main goalkeeper even though Onana's performance was not that good compared to De Gea.  i also read that quite a lot of MU players will be absent when facing Brighton later, even though the match will take place at Old Trafford, Brighton's winning percentage has reached 33% (that's quite high)
750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are Technical Indicators useless? on: September 15, 2023, 08:16:32 PM
Hi everyone.

I've examined indicators for very long time. Especially if you are trading often, they would increase your winning possibilities.

While some months i've learned how to code Pine Script on Tradingview and backtest with it. But i can't get good results even if many combination of indicators.  Undecided  When i look at past data manually, it works smoothly but this data retrospective and indicators can't drawn in future.

I wonder is there anyone who succeed on trading with indicator/combination of indicator/special strategy.

I'm open to discuss all ideas.
In trading there are no professors, everyone is required to learn and increase their knowledge to be able to remain calm in making every decision so don't give up just because the back test you did on the indicator you are using is not successful at the moment, apart from that i also remind you to focus Just stick to a few indicators that you feel comfortable with, the more you use various indicators, the more difficult it will be for you to determine which indicator is suitable for you.
i'll give you an illustration, when you sharpen a knife to make it sharp, focus on that one knife, don't change it, you will only make more knives that are not sharp if you keep changing knives, the same goes for indicators, just focus on the few that you feel are suitable for you, continue to develop and sharpen your instincts when using those indicators.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big capital, small risk or small capital big risk - which is best approach? on: September 15, 2023, 07:35:46 PM
Different people with different approach to gambling. Some prefer committing huge capital to high probability small odds while others prefer using small capital to target big wins. There are many reasons for each of these approaches.

While those that put huge capital win more often, their losses are usually painful. On the other hand, those that commit small capital to make huge wins rare win but when they do, they win big; their losses too are less painful. There are other advantages and disadvantages for both approaches but for the sake of this discussion, let's know which approach you think is better and why?
gambling is almost similar to business, don't expect that you will get big profits if you only spend a small amount of capital, but it is important to remember that never use gambling capital that exceeds the money you currently have, it's just a trap in your mind if you think you will get more money in your gambling activities (Gambling is not designed to make someone rich overnight, gambling is designed for entertainment that uses money)
However, there are quite a lot of lottery jackpot winners who spend small capital but win very big, their luck is usually only once in a lifetime.
752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of country can offer you legal gambling in 2023! on: September 14, 2023, 06:25:30 PM
I found out from google that gambling is legal in some number of countries and still banned in many countries.
UK
Ireland
Monaco
Germany
Spain
Belgium
the USA
Canada
Malta
Australia
What do you feel from this that gambling is less ethical?
i'm a little confused about your purpose in making this topic, but all the countries you mentioned above don't prohibit gambling (but they strictly monitor gambling), they only see it as individual freedom, whether or not gambling activities are ethical is a personal opinion, if you go to various communities then of course they will say gambling is unethical because it is against religious teachings but if you go to the community of sports and slot game/betting lovers then they will say gambling is very ethical and it is unreasonable to ban it.

Perhaps the younger generation will see gambling as something interesting and try gambling like other people. But if the parade can show what impact or consequences someone will receive when they gamble, there is a possibility that the younger generation will think not to approach gambling. Maybe what is needed is to campaign about the consequences that will be received by someone who gambles and show that gambling is not a place to make money.

By showing all the negative impacts of gambling, it is hoped that people can think about the negative impacts so they don't have to gamble. They can look for other ways to make money, and just from working, they can earn money.
Your opinion is as if classifying gambling as a negative activity, i strongly reject that, what everyone needs is education to become a regular gambler, gambling is not a bad thing but being a gambling addict is a very bad thing, we have discussed a lot about being a responsible gambler but in reality only a few can take responsibility for gambling them to themselves.

In my environment there are many young people who see that slot gambling is the best way for them to earn money, i often give them advice and suggestions so that they don't fall too deep, luckily they want to listen to what i say and just play slots in a fairly controlled manner (because the majority of gambling addicts end up with a lot of debt and also become criminals)
754  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are created for unemployment purpose on: September 14, 2023, 03:38:28 PM
The launch of CBDC will not bring significant changes to the ordinary financial life of society. Likewise in terms of employment. And traditional banks will still be needed in the end. Because CBDC is just a digital form of Fiat. So of course there will still be a need for banks to manage customers and the like. But if we talk about the future then of course we don't know. Whether traditional banks will eventually disappear or not. But I believe CBDC will not replace regular fiat money. Both will exist side by side. so that Traditional Banks will also continue to exist. It's just that workers who understand Blockchain and cryptography are needed to work in managing the CBDC. So that job opportunities will increase in this case. Possible.  Grin
Banks are businesses that will always think only about profit, when they see that cryptocurrencies cannot be fought or killed, even with government regulations, they will adopt the system of cryptocurrencies themselves, they will continue to work hard to convince their customers that they are friends of society, not enemies of society.

for the problem of unemployment, i don't think banks will contribute to high unemployment in the future, but the growth of technology itself will create more and more unemployment in the future, i once read an interesting paper that said that when one type of job disappears, a new type of job will emerge, don't give up hope, there will always be a bright future for those who keep trying.
755  Economy / Economics / Re: I wonder if food prices in your country have also increased? on: September 13, 2023, 05:56:30 PM
snip
I think the agricultural sector is often not a priority in a country. Because there is always a lot of funds for building roads and the like rather than for helping agricultural land such as making modern irrigation and so on. In fact, farmers are rarely helped in obtaining modern tools for farming. Even the price of fertilizer is also getting more expensive. Likewise in animal husbandry. Feed prices are getting more expensive. But we also can't completely complain about this to the government. Because we ourselves are also responsible for ourselves and the sector we enter. But I also hope that the agricultural sector can be given better attention by every government in the world. Because food is the main thing in this world to support life.
the elected government of every country is obliged to take care of their citizens, otherwise why would we elect them.

anyway, the development of road infrastructure must also be balanced with the attention given by the government to agriculture because good infrastructure can provide fast access to distribution.

Let's just look at what the Chinese government is currently doing, they have food reserves that are large enough and are estimated to be able to support all of their citizens in the next few years, but infrastructure development in their country is also in line.  in third world countries, what i noticed is that the government is only busy enriching itself, development and agriculture don't get equal attention so they only rely on exchanges from foreign countries.
756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: September 13, 2023, 11:07:22 AM

those who are used to new casinos definitely have a way to start with a new casino. because there are also gamblers who are hunting for new casinos to get several event bonuses that are usually held by new casinos.
It is indeed safer to play at a casino where we are used to playing. When we already have our own experience and assessment of the casino, there may be no other reason to move to another casino.
There are several cases that i have heard that some online gambling players have multiple accounts on almost all gambling sites (they are not only loyal to one online gambling site), when a new online gambling site appears, they will definitely register a new account there and try to withdraw profits through bonuses that are being held by the new gambling site.

i've been on this forum for a while and have paid quite a lot of attention to gambling threads, quite often i see that new gambling sites that have ANN threads on this forum end up failing to make their site's reputation good, so it's actually not a problem to try a new gambling site, but you shouldn't have one high expectations on their site, there will always be system failures on their new site.
757  Economy / Economics / Re: G20 Presidency [Summit] on: September 13, 2023, 10:36:31 AM

G20 was meant to be for economic cooperation but when agenda of leaders gets to accumulate leaders taking sides in a conflict, the G20 became a group that will isolate a country as punishment. And it happened already because the system is rigged.
i forget where i read it, but afaik, the G20 is intended to improve the economy between member countries, but in reality the G20 quite often plays their political power to control and manipulate countries that are not members or countries that are members of the G20.

Rich countries with more oil to sell realized it. Too bad China also didn't attend. Sure they reasons and they were just expecting the worst that could happen if ever they attend. If they just adopt BTC, they may really stop that rigged games they play.
China has quite high prestige among all members of the G20, reportedly China is the largest electricity producing country in the world among all members of the G20 so it is not surprising why many bitcoin miners are very happy if their mining activities are allowed in China.

Other news is that China is also one of the world's largest rice producers, this fact is why China often feels independent of other countries even when they are members of the G20.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only good coins are listed on top exchange? on: September 11, 2023, 05:42:26 PM
No way Roll Eyes
The listing fees of the best exchanges are huge, so any project can be listed for money and it is not the best coin for that.
Moreover one should not rush to invest after seeing the listing on a good exchange because the development of the project will be more dependent on an investor.

There are many coins that get delisted from good exchanges because their volume decreases and investors decrease, the main reason being poor development progress.
Today's token developers see cryptocurrency as a business, they are willing to spend big money to list it but there is no real use for their project and they don't build a community so it's no surprise that their tokens are not attractive to traders and investors.  why the cryptocurrencies that are in the top 200 have survived to this day, because these tokens have big supporters, smart developers will definitely see that a good community will be able to make the cryptocurrencies they circulate successful.
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Difference Between Plying Gambling on Online Sites and Real Casinos? on: September 11, 2023, 11:20:56 AM
In my country there are no casinos operating because it is an illegal activity. However, many online gambling sites operate and have many users from our country. So, even though I often play on online gambling sites, I have absolutely no experience playing gambling in real casinos. I often watch YouTube about gambling in real casinos, especially about slot machines. I noticed that in real casinos, slot games do not have a buy free spins feature

Do you have experience playing at real casinos and online gambling sites? Is there a difference playing there? I want to know.
in online casinos you can carry out your gambling activities while lying down or in the toilet, but in physical casinos you have to be there and chat with other people, of course the experience is different, here some offline casinos sometimes give bonuses to players (day-to-day events certain) if there is a cigarette or drink sponsor then all players at the offline casino will be given a bonus but with the terms and conditions they apply.

but the thing that i really don't like in offline casinos, we often deal with damn/shit people, they always ask for a little part when we win, ask for our cigarettes and sometimes borrow money, even so you have to be smart to get away from them, well they are all i mention that it is a toxic gamblers type that is always present in every offline casino.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: September 11, 2023, 07:35:32 AM
The AI systems do not actually collect the data, they are the opposite: consumer of significant data volumes, depending on the difficulty of the task, e.g. playing chess may require a 10^10 sample of games, driving a car could be even more... It is a different task to get the data, train the systems, get results, validate. These different stages do not use the same systems always.
Maybe that's what we know for now but later, after many developments in this field of AI, maybe AI will also be used for data collection, where it will be faster to get the data because AI will be connected to all servers. We will get AI reports that are useful for our analysis in determining or making decisions. But indeed, we won't know what kind of system the developer will develop because we are just ordinary people who don't really understand these AI codes.
do you know Tilt?  Tilt in poker is often interpreted as a reflection of the emotions of the players, and poker professionals master this, they are able to read the emotions of opponents and must also be able to hide their own emotions.  The question is, is there a possibility in the future for AI to be able to read your opponent's emotions at the poker table?  If so, AI will be unbeatable, but the chances of AI being able to win against poker professionals who are able to hide their emotions are very small, even though AI can collect data and use hundreds of strategies at the poker table.
