741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one did you use to gamble with more on: December 27, 2023, 11:27:53 AM
We are going to get more odds when we stake games before the match started. It is a good way to accumulate more odd and make more money than to wait for the match 5o start before we bet on it. Gambling is very challenging and we need to focus on how make money than to relax and take less risk when we gamble.
If the match starts already and no goal, as time goes and no goal, the odd will be increasing until there is a goal. If a less strong team first score, the odd for the strong team will increase. So it depends.

Sometimes betting on virtual games can be profitable too if we know how to make our way to making consistent profits. Although there is no kind of bet that is easy except when we know how to find our way to making consistent profits. Whether we better before the match or doing the match, once we are always making profits we can go for anyone.
If you play it too much, it can take than give. One thing I hate about sport and virtual betting is the low odd for the strong teams. I prefer casino games but which is also very risky.
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 27, 2023, 10:41:21 AM
If I am busy, I may not gamble at all. If I am not that busy and able to gamble that day, I may not gamble for more than 5 to 30 minutes. If I have nothing to do, I can divided my money into smaller amounts to gamble for a longer time period. I do not have a certain time that I spend while gambling, it depends on if I have time to gamble or not and if I feel like to gamble at the time or not.
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: December 27, 2023, 10:34:59 AM
Gambling is indeed fun mostly when the cash you bet is something you can risk losing that when you get the real fun relaxing watching the game. But when gambling with your hard earns or some thing you can't risk in other to get something extraordinary in return at that moment I  don't gambling will be fun in such.
I agree with what you said. Let me assume that I earn $500 in a month. From the $500, it is said and advised that people should use 1% to gamble. If I gamble with 1% of my money earned that month, that is just $5. If I lose all the $5, I will still enjoy the games while gambling. It is just that most people do not gamble to have just fun, they also need to earn money from it. If they are earning money, they are happy but if they are losing, they are not happy. Looking to earn money from gambling is not advised.
744  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Our Dependency on Google on: December 27, 2023, 09:39:06 AM
  • DuckDuckGO for search engine
  •  Tor and Firefox as browsers
  • Protonmail as email
  • OsmAnd as Map
  • MEGA as cloud storage

Why not go for other open source mobile phone is like Calyx instead of Android. Also to avoid Android products.

https://itsfoss.com/open-source-alternatives-android/

For browser, Tor and Firefox are good, but Duckduckgo is also having a mobile browser whch is also good.

As for cloud storage, it is good to know not to store important information like your password and identity documents on storage. Because of that I still use google cloud but to store some things that are not password and documents.
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reports emerge suggesting Mt. Gox creditors are receiving repayments on: December 27, 2023, 07:51:30 AM
My speculation: If Mt.Gox paid all they owes, I think this will give a good impression for people to trust more in centralized exchanges because they will think it's safer as the coins can be recovered than non custodial wallet where you lose your seed phrase, it's gone.
How can someone have money but prefer to lose the money. You know that if your seed phrase is lost your coin is lost. Then why not protect it? I have not lost my seed phrase before and I do not think that is going to happen. How about exchange like Cryptopia? What I know about the exchange is that people's coins has not been refunded. MT. Gox has been hacked over decade ago and that is disappointment for many people if they are just getting their money now. The best is to use noncustodial wallet and have complete control over your coins.
746  Economy / Lending / Re: Hello everyone looking for 7k loan with 10% interest for 3 months no collateral on: December 27, 2023, 07:35:17 AM
You register on this forum just some hours ago. After you register, you ask for a loan just not more than 1 hour and 15 minutes after you register.

If you want to be given loan on this forum, you need to be in a campaign or having a collateral. If you do not have any of those two, it is better to go to other place to get a loan. You can go to bank.
747  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: humerh3 is a scammer on: December 26, 2023, 05:48:41 AM
You can click on his profile and click on trust on his profile page. He has a red flag and someone like JollyGood give him a negative trust already.

This is his trust page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=980573

It can be easily known from there that you should avoid someone like him.
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin HODL: what happens to Bitcoin holders during impressive price increase? on: December 26, 2023, 05:40:20 AM
Question: With the coming of these two major events, assuming the price of Bitcoin turns out to be very impressive and massively different from today's current price, will the majority of Bitcoin holders keep(continue) holding?, or might price temptation just result in them selling to make a profit?.
If you check the price of bitcoin from the past, you will know that there are times that are just bear market. If there would be bear market that will override the bull market, that would be in 2026. That is the time many bitcoin holders will sell after making several profits. Although some holders will not sell all their coins.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Arthur Hayes Believes ETFs Might Cause the Demise of Bitcoin on: December 25, 2023, 09:33:48 PM
If more people do not sell, that means the price will go up as it would become scarce. I do not know how this would be negative for bitcoin but positive because if bitcoin become scarce, satashi (sat) will not become scarce but become more valuable. You do not have to buy 1 BTC.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one did you use to gamble with more on: December 25, 2023, 05:37:03 PM
Live matches (in-play)- Rarely, there is always too much pressure and the my judgement may be clouded. Serious caution is taken.
If you do not watch it, there won't be pressure on you. But if the game is not favoring you and you are watching it, there would be pressure on you. Although people gambling with live matches will most likely watch it because the result may be of short time to achieve.

Virtual football - Never.  I have heard many scary stories about people getting addicted  and spending all their monies here. I Amy be their next victim. I therefore don't even let it cross my mind.
Someone can be addicted to any. I know someone that was addicted to in-play matches. But I can understand what you are saying, virtual matches are short and addicting.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should security be employed in local bet shop? on: December 25, 2023, 05:17:55 PM
If there is no security at the local bookmaker that is near you then it will be less suspicious but I don't know how the mechanism is because and have never played gambling in traditionally, but if you say the local casino does not have any security it may be that the shop is small so there is no need for security even if there is acting up then anes as you thought.
I think the local betting shop the OP is referring to are those ones with small shops. If it is a casino that is very big, they will have not option than to have securities. A small casino can not be a place of attraction for thieves.

In all seriousness, there is no way for an ordinary person to check whether a particular machine is really set up for fair play (even if that machine is in a casino and has a corresponding tag). In my opinion, the main danger when playing on street slot machines is the possibility of personal and payment data leakage
Your personal data or your payment data can also be leaked on an online casino. Some people that do not like online KYC casinos is becuase of this main reason.
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Watch out! Blockchair has been hacked! on: December 25, 2023, 08:14:44 AM
Hi. I first noticed this when I tried to copy my bitcoin address, and put it Blockchair. The address is not the one that should have been copied!
That is a clipboard malware. You will need to format your device and reinstall your OS.

If blockchair is hacked, I do not know what the hackers wants to gain because you have nothing to do on the site than to check your bitcoin transactions.

They don't need their seed phrase. What they do is basically install some malware and when it detects that some BTC address is in the clipboard it replaces it with the thief's BTC address and they are hoping that you don't notice while sending the transaction. Unless you are sending this to an address you send frequently, most of the time you don't look at the address that you paste, hence why this malware works out for the hackers.
This is why QR code is the best way to make transaction because it can not be changed to hackers address through QR code. But no matter the one we used, it is good we double check the address that we paste.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 25, 2023, 07:59:27 AM
Not everyone who is well-dressed is mentally stable. Some addicts are mentally unstable, without noticing it, despite being well-kept and feeling in control of their actions. The man in your story is not causing any trouble to anybody in the gambling house, he is only not well dressed. Which is not anybody's business, provided that the gambling attendant is comfortable with him, no problem.
It is not only about the gambling agent but also about the other people that are gambling there. There is no problem if other people are not complaining about him. Not to be well dressed in public can make some people to know that he is mentally unstable and not like to go to the gambling place because of that but they will complain before not going. I think it is a betting agent place and it will not take more than 2 minutes that the mentally unstable person will spend to place bets and that gives him advantage.

Secondly, he's not begging for money or aggressively disturbing his parents for gambling funds, like many other gambling addicts who suffer mental disorders do to their loved ones. He's doing his job and maybe may have been conditioned the way he looks due to the kind of work he does.
He has no job. People are using his condition to give him money.

755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Judge orders Craig Wright to pay over $1M on: December 23, 2023, 09:45:23 AM
Why is this person trying so hard to prove that he's Satoshi Nakamoto? If he was, he could simply login to this forum and make a post and clear it out.
He is Faketoshi. I think that is also a good name that he will finally accept. What people will use to know that he is Satoshi is when he sign a message from one of the oldest addresses that were used to receive 50 BTC block reward during the earliest days of bitcoin. Faketoshi has not been able to do that but saying he lost the private keys. He is a liar.
756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Which one did you use to gamble with more on: December 23, 2023, 08:48:38 AM
I prefer staking before matches start when I started to gamble as a newbie. I later prefer virtual matches. I left both to staking on live matches which is what I gamble with most on bookies now.

This is just for fun. Let us post and have fun to know which one that most people on this forum that are posting on this gambling board like most.

Do not gamble more than you can afford to lose.
757  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why the transaction fee hike on ORDI? on: December 23, 2023, 08:18:45 AM
It is because Ordi is a BTC20 token. BRC20 tokens are making use of bitcoin blockchain and use bitcoin for transaction fee. They are also responsible for mempool congestion that makes bitcoin fee high.

But in addition, it is good to know that exchanges charges than what the mempool state is. Exchanges charge both the network fee and their own exchange fee which is usually very high.
758  Economy / Reputation / Re: How is digaran not banned from this site? on: December 22, 2023, 10:33:28 PM
Two main reasons a user can be banned on this forum that I have noticed is when they spam and plagiarized. Did digaran spam and plagiarized? Or did you know him made offenses and violated one of the rules of the forum? Report him to moderator.

With how digaran is posting, I do not think he worths to be banned. He can not be banned because he has done nothing that can make his account get banned.

760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another year is going to end. Bitcoin isn't dead on: December 22, 2023, 07:32:45 AM
It’s funny how the bitcoin is dead concept never dies. It’s like every person person who doubts bitcoin continuously fails to convince everyone not to believe in bitcoin. It's a testament to the robustness of the cryptocurrency and the challenges it has overcome.
It will never die but the people that calls it that will reduce. There see just some people that do not bother to speculate on the existence of bitcoin but prefer to just call it dead at all time. In the year 2023, as positive as it was, some people still saying such stupid words. They can continue to call bitcoin that, but all-time-high is coming which is what that matters to me and people that hold bitcoin.
