741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one did you use to gamble with more on: December 25, 2023, 05:37:03 PM
Live matches (in-play)- Rarely, there is always too much pressure and the my judgement may be clouded. Serious caution is taken.
If you do not watch it, there won't be pressure on you. But if the game is not favoring you and you are watching it, there would be pressure on you. Although people gambling with live matches will most likely watch it because the result may be of short time to achieve.

Virtual football - Never.  I have heard many scary stories about people getting addicted  and spending all their monies here. I Amy be their next victim. I therefore don't even let it cross my mind.
Someone can be addicted to any. I know someone that was addicted to in-play matches. But I can understand what you are saying, virtual matches are short and addicting.
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should security be employed in local bet shop? on: December 25, 2023, 05:17:55 PM
If there is no security at the local bookmaker that is near you then it will be less suspicious but I don't know how the mechanism is because and have never played gambling in traditionally, but if you say the local casino does not have any security it may be that the shop is small so there is no need for security even if there is acting up then anes as you thought.
I think the local betting shop the OP is referring to are those ones with small shops. If it is a casino that is very big, they will have not option than to have securities. A small casino can not be a place of attraction for thieves.

In all seriousness, there is no way for an ordinary person to check whether a particular machine is really set up for fair play (even if that machine is in a casino and has a corresponding tag). In my opinion, the main danger when playing on street slot machines is the possibility of personal and payment data leakage
Your personal data or your payment data can also be leaked on an online casino. Some people that do not like online KYC casinos is becuase of this main reason.
743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Watch out! Blockchair has been hacked! on: December 25, 2023, 08:14:44 AM
Hi. I first noticed this when I tried to copy my bitcoin address, and put it Blockchair. The address is not the one that should have been copied!
That is a clipboard malware. You will need to format your device and reinstall your OS.

If blockchair is hacked, I do not know what the hackers wants to gain because you have nothing to do on the site than to check your bitcoin transactions.

They don't need their seed phrase. What they do is basically install some malware and when it detects that some BTC address is in the clipboard it replaces it with the thief's BTC address and they are hoping that you don't notice while sending the transaction. Unless you are sending this to an address you send frequently, most of the time you don't look at the address that you paste, hence why this malware works out for the hackers.
This is why QR code is the best way to make transaction because it can not be changed to hackers address through QR code. But no matter the one we used, it is good we double check the address that we paste.
744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 25, 2023, 07:59:27 AM
Not everyone who is well-dressed is mentally stable. Some addicts are mentally unstable, without noticing it, despite being well-kept and feeling in control of their actions. The man in your story is not causing any trouble to anybody in the gambling house, he is only not well dressed. Which is not anybody's business, provided that the gambling attendant is comfortable with him, no problem.
It is not only about the gambling agent but also about the other people that are gambling there. There is no problem if other people are not complaining about him. Not to be well dressed in public can make some people to know that he is mentally unstable and not like to go to the gambling place because of that but they will complain before not going. I think it is a betting agent place and it will not take more than 2 minutes that the mentally unstable person will spend to place bets and that gives him advantage.

Secondly, he's not begging for money or aggressively disturbing his parents for gambling funds, like many other gambling addicts who suffer mental disorders do to their loved ones. He's doing his job and maybe may have been conditioned the way he looks due to the kind of work he does.
He has no job. People are using his condition to give him money.

746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Judge orders Craig Wright to pay over $1M on: December 23, 2023, 09:45:23 AM
Why is this person trying so hard to prove that he's Satoshi Nakamoto? If he was, he could simply login to this forum and make a post and clear it out.
He is Faketoshi. I think that is also a good name that he will finally accept. What people will use to know that he is Satoshi is when he sign a message from one of the oldest addresses that were used to receive 50 BTC block reward during the earliest days of bitcoin. Faketoshi has not been able to do that but saying he lost the private keys. He is a liar.
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Which one did you use to gamble with more on: December 23, 2023, 08:48:38 AM
I prefer staking before matches start when I started to gamble as a newbie. I later prefer virtual matches. I left both to staking on live matches which is what I gamble with most on bookies now.

This is just for fun. Let us post and have fun to know which one that most people on this forum that are posting on this gambling board like most.

Do not gamble more than you can afford to lose.
748  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why the transaction fee hike on ORDI? on: December 23, 2023, 08:18:45 AM
It is because Ordi is a BTC20 token. BRC20 tokens are making use of bitcoin blockchain and use bitcoin for transaction fee. They are also responsible for mempool congestion that makes bitcoin fee high.

But in addition, it is good to know that exchanges charges than what the mempool state is. Exchanges charge both the network fee and their own exchange fee which is usually very high.
749  Economy / Reputation / Re: How is digaran not banned from this site? on: December 22, 2023, 10:33:28 PM
Two main reasons a user can be banned on this forum that I have noticed is when they spam and plagiarized. Did digaran spam and plagiarized? Or did you know him made offenses and violated one of the rules of the forum? Report him to moderator.

With how digaran is posting, I do not think he worths to be banned. He can not be banned because he has done nothing that can make his account get banned.

751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another year is going to end. Bitcoin isn't dead on: December 22, 2023, 07:32:45 AM
It’s funny how the bitcoin is dead concept never dies. It’s like every person person who doubts bitcoin continuously fails to convince everyone not to believe in bitcoin. It's a testament to the robustness of the cryptocurrency and the challenges it has overcome.
It will never die but the people that calls it that will reduce. There see just some people that do not bother to speculate on the existence of bitcoin but prefer to just call it dead at all time. In the year 2023, as positive as it was, some people still saying such stupid words. They can continue to call bitcoin that, but all-time-high is coming which is what that matters to me and people that hold bitcoin.
752  Other / Beginners & Help / ‘MS Drainer’ scammers used Google Ads to swipe $59M in crypto: Report on: December 21, 2023, 10:26:16 PM
Do no click on ads, especially Google ads. But people will not listen.

A 'Wallet Drainer' has been linked to phishing campaigns on Google search and X ads, draining approximately $58M from over 63K victims in 9 months.

Money stolen from over 63000 people through Google ads through MS Drainer. People do not care about ads. They do not know how dangerous ads are.

The attackers used a variety of techniques to get around Google AdSense audits, including regional targeting and page-switching.

Scammers used a wallet draining service called “MS Drainer” to siphon approximately $59 million in crypto from victims over the past nine months, according to a Dec. 21 report on X (formerly Twitter) from blockchain security platform Scam Sniffer. The scammers used Google Ads to target victims with fake versions of popular crypto sites, including Zapper, Lido, Stargate, DefiLlama, Orbiter Finance and Radient, the report states.

Wallet drainers are blockchain protocols that allow scammers to transfer crypto from a victim to the attacker without their consent, usually by exploiting the token approval process. Developers usually charge a percentage of the profit in exchange for using their drainer software, and this fee is enforced through smart contracts, making it impossible to avoid.

If you want to allow scammers and hackers to locate you to scam you or drain your wallet, continue to click on ads.

Google do not care about anybody than to make money from ads.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: December 21, 2023, 07:58:55 PM
The gambler will be the isolated person most of the time, you can ask any gamblers. They will be isolated or try to being isolated himself from the relationship. The reason was the family members wife or mother, both will do advice to not play the gambling. The reason behind this was many gamblers will use their hard earned money in the gambling site and loss it.In order to save the important money, the female member of family will ask to stop this one.If the gambler play only with the free money, then the family will not be affected.
I do not understand this. There are many gamblers in the world. Many gamblers are not addicts and have no problem financially because of gambling. What you are referring to are addicted gamblers. If you are not an addict, you can feel free to let your wife or mother know that you are gambling. It is not what they will even realize because they know that you are not wasting money on it and no disturbance from anyone. If you are responsible and being the one responsible for the finances of your family and taking good care of your children and you are moving forward financially, your spouce will value you and not think of your gambling or not. Just do it responsibly and not waste money on gambling.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Michael Jordan a gambling addict ? on: December 21, 2023, 01:31:37 PM
until now I have never heard news from a valid source if Michael Jordan is addicted to gambling.
If it's true that when he was still playing, of course he could manipulate the match fixing. and when he retired as a high-ranking official at the NBA washington wizard club, he could also arrange the results of the match but I have never heard of MJ being hit by a match-fixing case and being processed to court.
I am not getting this. Have you heard of any match fixing that Michael Jordan was involved in? I have not heard of anything like that. Like we have said already, Micheal Jordan is not an addict. Or we can say he is a successful gambler. A successful gambler can nyit be considered as an addict. That is why no newsonline will refer to him as an addict.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Michael Jordan a gambling addict ? on: December 21, 2023, 07:33:58 AM
I saw a topic on this forum about if a successful gambler is seen as an addict? Now I like to rephrase that a bit to, can a successful person be seen to be an addict? The answer will not be the same for every person because when someone is rich, many of their bad behaviors and addictions are excused. This is another excuse for another addicted gambler just because they are successful. Just like Drake, Ben Affleck and others, Michael Jordan is also an addict.
I can not say Michael Jordan is a gambling addict. A person that is gambling very well but able to make it in life and still a very rich person is not an addict. It is not about how high the money he spend on gambling, it is about how gambling is in the life of the person. He is able to still remain a well know person that gambling did not turn him to an average or a poor person. He is not an addict.
756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which type of gambling have more gambling addicts ? on: December 20, 2023, 02:25:09 PM
With this scenario, you can then agree that soccer betting addiction could be the number one because soccer is more popular among the youths and adults, I believe it is the most played gambling game and if it is the most that means it is the more likely that people will get addicted to.
Soccer is very addicting to some gamblers, especially the live matches.

I do not know if we can consider virtual matches as sport betting but I can see people in my street using it very well to gamble. As some people like the virtual matches, going to betting agents, that means there are some people that will also like to play it online. Virtual matches only take 30 seconds or less to the next round and that can make it addicting.

But with what I have heard and read before, gamblers are more addicted to slots.
757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your view on this? Is it fun or addiction? on: December 20, 2023, 12:09:23 PM
The message is very obvious, trying to fool gamblers.
I see it s a way to encourage gamblers to lose but telling them otherwise that it is foolishness. Gamble again and again and lose again and again. Leading to borrowing and a miserable life. A wise gambler can easily decipher that to know it is a doom sentence for gamblers that if they continue to gamble, they will continue lose. After loan, what next? Depression and feeling of killing oneself. It is good to gamble with very tiny amount of money that we can lose and not think about.
758  Other / Meta / Re: Thanks button and more on: December 20, 2023, 11:46:10 AM
The best way to say thank you is to merit the person's post, and that's it.
I think he is talking about himself and he has no merit. There are sometimes a newbie will thank the user that gives answer to his question and moderators will not do anything about it as long as the person do not turn it to spam.

But it is good to know that you do not have to thank anyone on this forum unnecessarily. But if you ask a question and your question is answered perfectly, you can thank the person that provide the solution if you do not have merit to give.
759  Economy / Services / Re: Crypto Arbitrage Opportunity on: December 20, 2023, 09:21:16 AM
If you want to be involved in something like this, you suppose to post this post on currency exchange because you are exchanging from one currency to another.

You post about it is not good at all. You need to make a better OP for this. This look like how scammers offer their fake service to people with little effort.

With how this is, I can not recommend anyone to use your service. Your account is newbie and no escrow.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which type of gambling have more gambling addicts ? on: December 19, 2023, 07:44:33 PM

It's the games in the traditional casinos that are more addicting because a player has more interaction with real people. You could talk to fellow gamblers who can eventually become your friends. I think it's the interaction with people that makes gamblers come back and you get to share experiences on table games.

The online casino games will be the second since you are offered unlimited rewards, and you can win big up to the jackpot especially the slot. But even in offline casinos, the slot is already addictive.
Online gamblers are more of addicts than land based gamblers. Especially if the online gambler see the environment boring and not having any other thing to do than to gamble. Some of them will spend all their weekly income on gambling continuously and they will continue to think of a better means to win the gambling site, but instead still losing.
