Yea I know
poker was a goldmine just a couple years ago. (didn't play back then though :S) Still fun to play and make some small money though

Online poker is still a decent moneymaker up to 1/2 cash if you play well. The problem is most who say it's hard to make money nowadays usually got spoiled back in the day when you could be a mediocre player and still win.

Yep, just bought BTC locally from an online poker player.  He had a ton of BTC won a few hundred ago  he needed converted to cash.  And with Bitfinex not processing wires yesterday due to a holiday in Taiwan, it became the perfect match.

I sent the BTC to Bitfinex and converted it to FIAT for more play money.  Cheaper than a wire.

Today, a Holiday in Taiwan cut off inflow to Bitfinex until next week.

Columbus day Holiday in the United States will cut off outging wires on Monday.   Markets may suffer from lack of fiat for a few days.

i've got some damage control to do now, i'll give her a few days at her moms, and then i'll go begging for her forgiveness.

The next 24 hours are critical

Why are next 24 hours critical? bitcoin is not a pacient... bitcoin will last for a very long time, so next few years of developement are critical

The next 60 minutes are critical for the future of Bitcoin.

The next 24 hours will determine the future of cryptocurrency for the next decade.
745  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bulltards, cultists, bagholders....OH MY! on: October 07, 2014, 06:04:09 PM
I come back to these forums every few months just to look.

Always the same angry losers that lost money due to their own incompetence and impatience.

..and the same paid troll outsourcers in Pakistan and India spamming their nonsense.

I'm sorry, MatTheCat and others like him. But if you buy into ANYTHING anticipating a 1000% return and didn't consider that you could potentially lose 50% or more over the short term, I don't know what to tell you. You have no business investing at all. You might as well be in a casino. Casinos exist for people like you.

Apparently I'm a "bulltard", "cultist" and "bagholder". I'll keep doing what I do, which is to acquire as many BTC as possible through arbitrage and Bitcoin related businesses.

You guys keep doing what you do: Being angry and bitter because you didn't get rich overnight with your 1 BTC investment.

I'll be back in a few months. Enjoy the ride, everyone.

Funny post, and subject title.  Grin

Cultists were bagging on me in August for "selling so low" for an OTC trade I made back in August (600+).

Still bullish long term, but BTC is going to take bumps and bruises for a bit.

Im extremely bearish, have been since $600.. but I'm not selling. I lost abt 50% of my coins on MtGox and 10% on alts. Whats left isnt significant enough for me to worry. If it goes up, I'm happy. I just dont see it happening.

Plus, most of my coins are from mining in the early years, and I made quite a bit daytrading earlier this year...  so any price = gains for me. But I wont sell.

Alright, you won't buy any more coins then?

No. I really doubt that the price wont rebound at some point in time to maybe $500, possibly $1000, but to me the end game is always double digits.. its just a matter of how long the ship can float. But again, bitcoin is like a lottery ticket to me.. with much better odds.

No manipulation?

Give me a break man!

Hes already sold 10k coins man... hes serious about selling.

Fake walls move up as bids move, this one looks real.  It actually sold a bunch already.

My suspicions, short cover rally.

Bears gonna start loading up again to wash and repeat any approach to 320.
Too small a move, need to observe a higher movement above the bottom.

Looked pretty big, 17% pop from today's low.
