741  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: September 20, 2023, 07:06:32 AM
That's a nonsense online casino, that rules should be included in their ToS not their registration form because it will make people think twice before signing up on such platform, also why are you even interested in using such casino? I've never heard about this casino before, why not use Stake or Fortune Jack?

It's possible that some unknown casinos, maybe new ones, are using this idea to seize peoples money, because if you can't comply to their regulatory rules you can kiss your money goodbye, but it's not a crime to comply if you want to gamble on any casino right now.

There is a better way to go about it, just pass the KYC requirements first, and make sure your credentials are passed and accepted before you deposit and start gambling on the platform, nothing is more relaxing than this strategy, no panic about losing funds, and no worries..
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Navigating the World of Online Gambling on: September 20, 2023, 06:42:33 AM

Protect Your Privacy, Be extremely cautious with your personal information. Never disclose sensitive data to anyone claiming to be from the casino, as this could be a ploy to steal your funds or identity. Legitimate casinos won't ask for this information upfront.

Of all the points you delivered, I do have problem with this one, it's good to protect your privacy if that's what you want, and the best way to do this is to avoid every online casinos that ask for KYC verification, it's your duty to find online casinos that needs no KYC for gambling and moving your funds off the their platform.

Apart from this, every other casinos need to make their customers pass KYC verification, do you even know why KYC is very important to many online casinos? I think you should do research on this, because it's not bad or a crime if casinos ask for your KYC approval.

A legitimate online casino have all the right to ask for your information before or after you sign up on their platform, because this is one of the ways to avoid turning their platform into a criminal haven where illegal funds can be moved around, money laundering is not far from online casinos as well, that's why after you registered your casinos, the regulators will pass some rules and regulation to keep your business running legally, one of these laws includes forcing your customers to drop their identity aka KYC verification.
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 19, 2023, 09:26:17 AM
What do you think has changed about gambling itself? It's our situations and the times that keep changing but that doesn't really change the purpose of gambling, and it totally depends on one's own mindset regarding gambling and whether it will be fun for them or not. If you have always seen gambling as a way to earn money and profits, you can never get entertained by it because your mind and eyes will always just be looking for big wins.

But, if you have never thought of gambling as a way to earn money and you already have money and you just need some entertainment and just want to play some games and have some fun, then you will not find gambling not fun anymore because it is still the same thing if your mindset hasn't changed.
It's totally about ones mindset, and this mindset can put people in trouble, it's a mindset when you believe that you can make a living with gambling, it's a mindset when you believe that you can earn weekly income with gambling, it's a mindset when you believe that you can turn into a millionaire with gambling, imagine getting punished by your own mindset and believe.

We need to be careful with the mindset we create on things or what we choose to believe in, what we choose to believe in can take our rise to our fall, gambling isn't something anyone should have a belief in, or try to create some kind of mindset around.

I'd rather create a mindset on money making through investments and goals than luck, it's fun to place bets on football games because I am a supporter of a favorite club and that's it, maybe we will win or lose, No one knows, it's better to keep it like this, because no one knows.
744  Economy / Gambling / Re: Aviator predictor app to estimate 1xbet crash game on: September 19, 2023, 08:05:33 AM
Predictions are simply nothing but predictions, if anyone is telling you to join telegram group for gambling predictions just know that you are taking a huge risks..

1. They might be scammers waiting to take advantage of you.

2. They might predict right at first and make you pay some money for premium service, only to find out later that it's not worth it.

Also 1xbet or 1xbit has no good reputation on this forum, please and please stay away from them, they are scammers pretending to have the good minds for people, and many fools on the forum still promote the scam casino, they ended up getting their accounts painted in red.

When you are talking about a Red Flag, well, 1xbit is the closest to red flag that you need to know, if you want to start a legal crypto gambling, seek advice on this forum and stay away from any telegram groups.
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They sent me btc to my wallet they were available and then they disappeared! on: September 19, 2023, 07:25:11 AM
It looks like you approved an unconfirmed BTC transaction and released your money to the stranger.

By the way, why are you doing business with a stranger? If you can confirm that this person is a Stranger, why do business with them? As a crypto newbie, you can't tell me that you don't know about crypto exchanges where you can safely buy your Bitcoin with Fiat.

I think there is more to this story than you are telling us, I think this stranger promised to sell the BTC for a cheaper rate to you, probably a 50% off, because what can make you buy Bitcoin from a stranger?

Can you provide screenshot of you and this stranger's conversation?

Your wallet address? Or transaction harsh? What is the name of the wallet you use? A Double spending attack happens because of an attractive offer, coming from a stranger,  in your case this is the only thing that makes sense to me.

Sorry to say, no one on this forum can help you get your money back, it's gone, at least learn from your mistake and avoid strangers in the future.
746  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm ready to learn crypto on: September 19, 2023, 06:52:40 AM
What goes up must come down and what comes down also have it's surging days, this is how crypto works, avoid the negativity that many people are saying about crypto and develop your crypto foundation with knowledge and hope, you need to understand the market sentiment and oy invest what you can afford to lose, yes crypto can turn a poor man into a rich man but it's still risky, that's why you need to invest only what you can afford to lose.

Many crypto investors are not real investors, they have fear in them and that's why bear market looks like a never ending situation for all, but it's a matter of time and dedication, this tough time will also pass.

Learn how to make money off bear and bull markets, The majority of people lose money in the bull market and even the bear market, that's because they don't understand how the crypto cycle works, The Bear market is where you keep your mind out of fear and make decisions, people will run from the market to avoid losing money, but it's the best time for the brave to accumulate and wait.

The Bull market is where you want to start reaping your hard work in the bear market, avoid greediness and start taking profits, leave others out of it, and let them make their own decisions.
747  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake phishing on: September 18, 2023, 11:16:44 AM
I've know Stake platform for a long time and they have done really well with their reputation so far, I think OP needs to learn more about phishing before accusing Stake platform of poor security, even if you have the best security, once you give access to anyone apart from you they will easily go through your accounts and withdraw your fund.

To the Stake casino, they will believe you are still the one in control, this is just an example how phishing works, I am not saying this is what really went down, it's your own fault for getting phished, and I do hope that you learn from it instead of blaming a reputable platform.

If you failed to find what went wrong, you will still become a victim again, I am saying this out of experience, they will find access into every other platform where you have accounts, including your Bank account. Stake isn't to be blamed, the problem is on your part.

You are welcome to the forum newbie, I like the fact that you believe you are not too late with Bitcoin and that's on point, I was where you at today some years ago and I had no money then, I just use my spare time to start learning about Bitcoin and the Blockchain, and it took me a while before I get some money to purchase my first Bitcoin, there are many ups and down and I am thanking myself today for not giving up, though I couldn't do it alone with the support of my late dad.

749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free spins are also a demo in disguise? on: September 18, 2023, 09:35:58 AM
Simple, with free spins you make money, I mean real money, and in demo you make money that aren't real, money you can't withdraw, as you can see they are not the same thing, it's possible to be lucky with free spins, but still, luck is in play here.

I kinda believe that your chances of winning better money with free spins are lower compare to using your hard earned money, to me free spins are not bad at all, they are way better than creating a new account on a trading platform and using demo to try and see how it works, with free spins, you get the whole idea how things work, you still make money doing so and you are able to keep the money too.

Free spins are limited in number, that's why you need to be a lucky charm prince to win good amount of money using free spins, I believe such result is very rare, but no amount is bad when you are getting it for free.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / When the fun stops on: September 18, 2023, 08:01:41 AM
Online gambling platforms exists not only to get you some lucky wins, it's also another form of entertainment,  but I will like to ask if truly you people are getting that entertainment from gambling?

We can see what the world is becoming now, things are getting harder and what's on peoples mind is how to make even more money, there is no time, there are too many responsibilities,  are you sure you getting entertained?

Some people already feel like they are not having fun, because what they have in mind is making money, to all people that feels this way, If you feel like you aren't having fun I believe for the greater good, it's better to take a break from gambling and do something else.

Do you agree or disagree?

I believe that most people end up messing themselves up with gambling because to them everything is money, money, money, and this can stop your brain from becoming a responsible gambler, the sense of protecting yourself from gambling addiction can get lost if you are already not having fun with gambling anymore.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino features you like and Don't like but you don't mind on: September 17, 2023, 12:34:26 PM
If I don't like it then it means I mind it, there are other things that we manage, not because we don't like them, but because they are manageable, if you don't like them you won't be able to manage them.

For example, some online casinos have bad UI and slowish speed when surfing through them, but these are still manageable for me, the only places I can have issue with a casino is when I am in the action of making money, your platform can lag anyhow it likes, but make sure it doesn't lag when I decide to start my game.

The experience I get when playing games or betting is what I am after, and the other one is how often I win on the platform, there is a part I hate passionately, and that's after all the stress of losses on the platform I manage to hit a jackpot and it gets so impossible to cash out my money, I will pray and hope that I successfully withdrew the amount but for the pain, I go through I won't be coming back again.
752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage your money on gambling sites. on: September 17, 2023, 10:01:18 AM
That's because the winnings are not real, if you win a big amount while gambling online you will either withdraw straight away or you will decide to use the amount to gamble again which can result on losing everything.

They are showing off those winnings to make people feel left out, as you can see, it worked even on you, that's why you are asking questions about it on here, isn't it?

If they don't show off those winnings how will they attract many new gamblers? I'd say whenever you see some things online, it's just a way to attract users to their platform, and this doesn't mean that once you register on the platform and start betting you will end up with the same result, theirs are green and yours will be red.
753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge vs hodlings on: September 17, 2023, 08:59:32 AM
For me, knowledge is every thing in life.

It's a fools way when you think that money is everything, let me explain.

You can easily get your hand on some hefty money, and mismanage everything.

You can have money and decide that you will invest in coin and go to any crypto exchange and get scammed.

You can also visit a popular exchange and buy Bitcoin for a higher price than it is presently.

You lack one thing in common, that's Knowledge.

Nothing beats knowledge in this life, it's like a horse that moves you around from one location to another, and if the horse is not feed well it will grow weaker and thinner.

Nurture your knowledge from time to time, you will grow bigger than those who feel like they are already filled with enough Knowledge because Knowledge is unlimited.

I will like to strongly advise readers to love learning more than anything else, because everything else should come after Knowledge, know this and nurture yourself in knowledge,  then see yourself grow.
754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are reasonable fees when buying small sums of bitcoin in the UK? on: September 17, 2023, 07:50:08 AM
There is one thing I like about crypto exchanges, you can create an account on them and pretend like you want to withdraw while having 0 balance just to know how much you will be charged, I use Binance for Bitcoin purchases and the withdrawal fee is not up to 2$, even if I but up to 20,000 dollars worth of Bitcoin, the withdrawal fee still remains the same.

If buying very small amount of Bitcoin is what you plan to do, why not store that money up to a certain amount before buying Bitcoin? Paying $1.5 to $1.7 per withdrawal of $50 may feel like a lot to you, then save the money up to $150 maybe or $200 before buying Bitcoin, for me, using 2$ on every Bitcoin purchases isn't much, very affordable for me.

No matter where you are in the world, the withdrawal fee remains the same, they don't charge you than when you plan to withdraw, I believe this charges already included with the services fee, if you deposit 100$ on the exchange, you can use all the 100$ to buy Bitcoin, and withdraw 98$ successfully, the remaining morning is withdrawal fee, probably with the services they provide.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: September 16, 2023, 09:02:29 AM
A quick warning to all gambling beginners, the most attractive ways that scam gambling websites get to you is bonuses and undeniable offers, I can see some new online casinos coming up with attracting bonuses to make you deposit some money and gamble, while they still have no reputation build yet but the offers are too good to the eye that you want to try it out, be cautious.

New casinos also comes with baggages likes

1. Experiencing several issues like game loading or lagging.

2. Experiencing errors when trying to deposit or make withdrawal.

3. Lower withdrawal limits.

4. Limited currencies accepted, most prefer Fiat still.

5. Lack of games collection due to limited software providers.

6. Lack of online reviews about them, some even have their ways with fake reviews.

If you want try them out then make sure that they have an announcement thread opened on the Bitcointalk forum, few new casinos made it to the forum and still turn scam, they are been dealt with by raising an alarm and red tagging their account, This spreads information all over the forum and outside the forum, at least many are saved from becoming the next victim.

Compare this to if the new casino has no Bitcointalk ANN, it will take time before many people know that the casino is already scamming their users, on the long run, the casino must have made a handful of money from scamming their customers.

Information is very vital when dealing with new online casinos this days.
Yeah sure, these are some valid points. But not all casinos like to have third party game providers and some even prefers providing inhouse games. Those games are actually better and you can be almost 100% sure that those games aren't rigged if it is provably fair. Almost all games provided by thirdparty software has no way to prove that the games aren't rigged or provably fair. Even some of the games mentions that the owners may impose limit on how much you might win. So not having "more thirdparty games" doesn't mean that casino isn't legit. And also, not all casinos makes announcement through bitcointalk. There are other places or ways of announcement other than this forum.
I thought having third-party game providers installed is what makes casino more transparent? Because games from third parties are well audited? If there is some kind of rigging it will be visible because different set of online casinos are also using the third party games provider?

I believe that games made by the casinos and not the third parties are easily rigged, I don't advise such games, the aim of all casinos, both online and offline is to generate money from peoples loses, if they are capable of building their own in-house games then they can twist the game to their own taste.

Anyway, I like using Both new and old online casinos, but I am more picky with new casinos because they usually end up scamming people, if I have to use one now I will prefer to always gamble on the platform with few dollars, until they proven to be a reliable online casino.
756  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting the Right Information About Bitcoin and Don't Be Misguided! on: September 16, 2023, 08:06:53 AM
I am not ready to make Bitcoin sound like a place to turn your life around without slapping you with the disadvantages,  the reason for this is because people will always be people, they all love the good stuffs and they all want the easy stuffs, today many people still can't do long term investment, the majority don't even like taking risks, they magnet themselves to what they have presently and they don't think much about what they could become.

If anyone is misguided about Bitcoin it's because they lack doing their own research themselves, there is nothing about Bitcoin that's hidden from the internet, so why are they lazy to do research by themselves?

I will never try to push anyone to invest in Bitcoin, it's not worth it most times, and the little numbers of people that know Bitcoin through me are already within the family and friends, so I have studied them enough to know that they like taking risks.
757  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit withdrawal pending for over 16 hours on: September 16, 2023, 07:16:00 AM
Crazy things happening from casinos this days, you haven't win any money and you are asked to pass KYC to withdraw your own funds,  and you said you have successfully withdrawn some money before?

This is sick, this is the stuffs that gets on my nerves easily, I wish you ask why they now decide to ask for KYC when you trying to withdraw your fund.

The past experience I have with casinos is, they always ask for KYC verification after you win some good amount of money, this is the first time I see someone asked to pass KYC to withdraw their own money that they deposited on a casino.

Online casinos really need to upgrade their ways of rendering services to customers, if this happen to me I will quit that casino and never come back, that amount is very small to start asking for KYC verification, and the reason for KYC is to avoid money laundering.

All I see is, it's easy to deposit your hard earned money on a casino but it's hard to withdraw them.
758  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet hacked? on: September 16, 2023, 06:49:51 AM
Isn't cloudbet the one advising Stake casino to revisit their security measures weeks ago? It's like they are passing this warning to all online casinos, I read somewhere on my phone where they said...

The Cloudbet spokesperson continues: “We are firm believers that crypto is pioneering an exciting new world of financial freedom, and that gaming and betting can help lead that effort.

“But we also believe that in order for us to realise that world, we have to put security at the front line of crypto.

“No matter how flashy and glamorous the Premier League is, players aren’t safe to play without some very serious on-field security.”

As per my deep research, I haven't seen a single complain about the Cloudbet platform, it does seem like they take security issues very serious, I think the only way for online casinos to be ahead of hackers is to always revisit their security measures, this is also why Binance security is very strong,  always update and add more measures to the system, if you rely on your security and failed to check always, you won't know when hackers will find a vulnerable door.

Back to the issue OP is facing, not all alarming notifications are real, so be careful with them, scammers can send you notification that there is some data leak and you are hereby given a link to update your information...

Find out the real CloudBet email address, get in touch with the team to verify before even clicking on any links, most times, scammers send all various of bad emails to your inbox, be careful with emails.
759  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational on: September 14, 2023, 06:18:30 AM
I have watched the video, but I couldn't understand what they are trying to do, because it looks like they are promoting slot gambling, this is not going to reduce the level of gambling addiction but will increase it even more.

Gambling is not a disease, people are the ones that like overdoing everything, when high risks is present in something, you are to automatically be careful with it, because with the high risk it could be disastrous to your health or and your life.

Whether the parade happens or not, those who will gamble will gamble, it looks like the lowest form of gambling advertisements to me, and unfortunately it won't catch many attention because it doesn't look that great, but still, people must have noticed it anyway.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learning from those who have experience on: September 13, 2023, 10:32:05 AM
I want to ask those of you who have a hard addiction experience in gambling and then you can treat it yourself, and today still playing gambling but with the principle of good management and financial management in gambling.
I want to know how you break away from the addiction, you can mention the actions taken or what kind of steps? And how long do you need time to break away from the addiction that has been experienced?

"I want to find out because I think your experience in the case as I mentioned will be useful for readers, especially for me personally"
First thing first, fear gambling addiction, when that fear is alive inside you, it will keep you safe from going addicted with gambling, I think you should read stories about how many lives were turned upside down because of gambling, look at the lives of people who solely believe in gambling, you will feel pity for them.

Wake up to reality, because many gamblers are living in dreams, they put all their hopes on gambling, and they want the best things of life from gambling, this is totally wrong, if you don't see that all these is wrong, your expectations will end up putting you in troubles.

Gambling addiction can brainwashed anyone, it steals your life from you and it's on you to fight and take it all back, like I've said, wake up to reality, if your life can be immediately turned around
