741  Economy / Gambling / Re: Restricted on casino bonuses on: October 02, 2023, 08:51:31 AM
I've earned about online casinos that place ban on a person if they keep winning, but I've not seen or heard about people winning endlessly from bonuses and tournaments, this is crazy, I do like seeing casinos losing a lot of money to lucky gamblers and that shit really pisses them off.

It's pure truth that casinos don't like losing a lot of money to people that win over and over, they will end up placing a ban on you, and some will say that you are a suspect, for using a professional advantage strategy or some kind of phantom computer.

There is a man who won a lot of money from casinos and the story is well known over here, it get to a point where they believe this man have a betting patterns that just works, and they ban him from every casinos, the funny part is he is like a unwanted guest in every casinos, they have his name and picture, when he turned up they won't let him.
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New ID requirements for Gamblers in Australia on: October 02, 2023, 07:02:16 AM
How about those who are living in Australia who will signup on a casino as U.S citizens? The government doesn't understand how desperate gamblers can be, they are able to monitor gamblers in that country because they are using credit card, now that crypto is popular, they can easily abandoned every casinos that only accept Fiat through Credit Card payment.

After reading through the website, this do got me

By asking for ID before allowing consumers to play, companies will effectively prevent efforts to circumvent their social responsibility protocols. As a result, operators will be able to identify underage individuals or self-excluded players, stopping them from placing bets.

Like it seems that they want to stop their people from all gambling activities, what do they mean by self-excluded players? Anyways I doubt it's ever going to work, there some badass proxies and premium VPNs that people can use to create accounts on online casinos right from the heart of Australia.
743  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Plz help trust wallet haked on: October 01, 2023, 10:11:01 AM
I got a lot of scammers on Twitter tagging my name to a fake airdrops, I know they are all fake and that's because I have been a victim two years ago, it's easier for newbies to bmfall into these scammers traps because they lack some knowledge, I believe you have learned from your mistake now, if somehow you have passion for airdrops make sure you create a different wallet for airdrops only, do not use your main wallet to hunt airdrops.

I don't even use my main wallet to connect to Defi platforms for buying coins and tokens, I use a separate wallet for this, after buying through pancakeswap, uniswap, and others i always move the coins and tokens into my main wallet, so my main wallet has never been connected to any website or platform before, and I've also never use it to claim any free coins and tokens before.

Connecting a crypto wallet here and there gives permissions to whoever is at the end of the other side, if they are evil people they will be able to steal your assets from you, unfortunately, keeping private keys safe isn't the only thing to watch out for when investing in crypto.
744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and gambling which one has done you more harm on: October 01, 2023, 08:27:28 AM
Since 2016 that I have been learning about crypto, Bitcoin has never hurt me for once, I have a few bad stories but all the faults are mine not Bitcoins, I messed up choosing the bad crypto wallet and I also messed up making the wrong choices like selling too soon and few others but so far Bitcoin have given me positive results than anything in crypto.

I do gamble too but the results I am getting from gambling isn't as good as my Bitcoin portfolio, gambling isn't something I do everyday, I only use some spare money to gamble and that's when I can afford it, most times I've lost money in gambling and only very few times I've win something good from gambling.

It's better to be in both if you can protect yourself from turning into a gambling addict, because the biggest problem with gambling is people having this thought of making big money from gambling and start living their dream, gambling isn't scheduled to work in such a manner, you will lose more than you will win.
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: October 01, 2023, 07:12:00 AM
First of all, the government doesn't care if you lose your home and properties to gambling, and becoming a responsible gambler is your responsibility, no one cares if you turn into addicted gambler and you start sleeping on the street, and you named the government? They are the last people who want everyone to stop gambling.

Do you know how much the so called government are making from casinos? You need to do your own research, casinos are one of the country builders themselves, they contribute a lot to have a location and their business running in a country, it's left for every individual to think straight and be smart with gambling.

Gambling is not going to affect the countries economy, those people who own casinos are paying some good amount of money into the government's pocket, even if people start committing suicide due to gambling, the government will never eradicate casinos from the country, they know that casinos is playing a big role too. Do your own research.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: October 01, 2023, 06:18:02 AM
I believe that rich people fit in better with this category than people who aren't rich because there's nothing that's far from luck with gambling, each and every facet and corner is 100% about luck, so there's nothing that's far from luck with gambling. Since gambling platforms favour the rich even more, yep, VIP accounts, I believe the rich will be willing to spend some money without hurting themselves.

In addition to people talking about how a strategy worked for them because it was your lucky day, I believe that a small amount of money to gamble is the only strategy that can keep people save from turning into something else as a result of gambling. I'm sick and tired of people talking about how a strategy worked for them.

The only way that gambling can be enjoyable is by using very small amounts of money, there will be no panicking, it's all about you and the fun you are having, either you lose or not, how can you possibly lose?
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons you should not gamble on too many things at once. on: September 30, 2023, 04:06:47 PM
If you are bored and you have no place to go because you want to remain at home, you may decide to spend some cents on gambling just like you are spending some cents on beers.

You can decide to go to land based casino to have some fun.

The advice has been repeated countless number of time, that gamblers should have gambling budget and they should not spend beyond the budget. My gambling budget is 5% weekly if I gamble and lose in that week.
There are many things one can do when they are alone at home to kill their time, they don't have to pay to have fun, they can watch movies, play free games, or invite a friend and have some fun, it's only addicted gamblers that feel like always been alone is the right call for gambling, it's a slow attraction into gambling and that leads to addiction.

I have said this multiple times before and I will keep repeating it, gambling will mostly not work in your favour, that's on the house, casinos are most favoured by their business, because it's gamblers that lose more and it's the house that wins more.

Lack of discipline and lack of accepting the truth about gambling is why many people will still become useless because of gambling, they can't accept the truth, gambling definition is everywhere online, and in that definition, it has everything that's there to understand about gambling, it's all about luck, and humans don't get lucky everyday.
748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: September 30, 2023, 12:51:12 PM
The first topic I just created few minutes ago is similar to what you are saying OP, the harder things get the more people will keep falling into the wrong things, lack of jobs in my country has affected too many people and guys are now into this mindset of using all means necessary, they don't care about the consequences anymore.

Gambling was never created to enrich people , it's created for entertainment purposes and making money on pure luck, but people always think they are different, until they have a taste of it's bitterness.

When crimes are committed, if investigated properly gambling will be related, there are many arrests been carried out, and most of them are related to having debts to settle, from burglary, forgery and fraud cases, they do this to pay back their debts, gambling debts for that matter.

Gambling was never meant to be harmful if done properly, I do believe that anyone can develop gambling disorder if they are too focused on making money from gambling, it will be very hard to treat a problematic gambling behaviour, and that's why people need to seek for help once they start losing themselves.
749  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoiding Faucets and Airdrop Scams on: September 30, 2023, 11:12:32 AM
I expect this to keep happening because each and every day, crypto keeps getting popular and we will keep seeing newbies in crypto space, those mistakes that people like us have made in the past we still be repeated by newbies and there is nothing to make it stop.

This is why some beginners believe that crypto is scam, as there are too many unsafe steps anyone can easily take in the crypto space.

Airdrops and Fauctes are not even making money anymore I don't know why people are going this route in 2023, it's over for Airdrops and giveaways, you will possibly end up getting scammed if you follow this route.

Zealy is the only legit airdrop website that still pays right now but the payment isn't even worth your time, the last airdrop I joined was SuiSwap off this website, and after all the daily points gathering they gave everyone 1000 tokens and the value is 0.0002$, how is this profitable? The only thing still left that's worth your time is testnet activities and also not all will pay their testers.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Violence and anger could be a sign of gambling addiction in youths on: September 30, 2023, 10:32:48 AM
When the situation of the country is too hard to comprehend, youths who are supposed to be the future leaders will start turning into criminals in front of us.

This is the third case that have happened to someone very close to me ( not family ), and they all have one thing in common, SPOUSE ABUSE and CRIME.

I knew this gentle soul growing up in my street, who just turned 24 years old and now he was into gambling without anyone knowing at home for the past 1 year, the only point that I hold unto from his mother is how he maltreated his junior brothers and sisters and he also have anger issues.

I have come to understand that having a negative impact on people close to you or your family could be a sign of compulsive gambling, to the extent that this boy start maltreating his junior ones, I mean inflicting pains on them.

The other two cases that I knew about gambling addict ( one in the family ) also have something similar to this behaviour, anger issues, criminal activities like burglary and disrespect of parents, I think countries with high rate of struggles and hardship will always have this type of problems.

Is there any effective way to make sure youths stays where the are told to stay instead of looking for quick money? Gambling isn't the solution to poverty it will possibly drown you deep into more poverty.
751  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another post cautioning you of influencers on: September 28, 2023, 10:38:15 AM
Don't blame that influencer, most of they are paid to talk about any project or casinos, it's all about the money for them, only few of them cares more about their reputation than money and this man might not even be aware of the atrocities that 1xbet and 1xbit have caused in crypto and gambling space combined.

I am used to listening to influencers about crypto projects, I use them to get information as it makes things less stressful for me instead of doing the deep research myself, I have made some good and bad decisions following influencers and I have removed a few from my lists of trusted crypto influencers.

The thing is, you don't have to make decisions based on what an influencer said in their video, do not forget that they are also trying to make money, I remember Luna before the collapse, many YouTubers shilled the hell out of this project and after it crashed, some don't even bother to say sorry and some never talked about it again.
752  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do hacks still occur? on: September 28, 2023, 06:51:40 AM
Hire all the best cyber experts in the world, bribe many hackers to work for you to prevent hack attacks and so on, there will still be some vulnerability somewhere and those hackers will be the ones finding it first.

There is nothing anyone can do to prevent hacks from happening, the only solution left is to make things harder and more complicated for hackers to find doors into your security system, make it even tougher than it was yesterday.

Be one step at least ahead of hackers, this is the solution and also make sure that as a business runner, you have collateral funds available, so that your business won't face its demise and your customers will still trust you.

Maybe in the future, a solution may occur that will make stolen funds by hackers from cryptic exchnages impossible to cater away with, but right now it's not the case.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the wildest thing you've ever bet on and won? on: September 27, 2023, 10:02:15 AM
Mine isn't from gambling or sports or gaming, it's actually on a being like myself, I have a friend who is handicapped, and I am the only one who knew he is a very strong guy, so we all all outside one day doing some exercises and a group of guys are coming back from the gym, so we had some conversions and that's where they challenge me to 40 push-ups, then someone bought up the idea of placing a bet, I won their cash and I created a joke saying, 40 push ups is nothing, that even my friend here can do it easily..

They all stared into their eyes and one said its impossible, and then another bet was placed and to their surprise my friend who is a handicapped beat the challenge, bearly though but he won, took their money and we called it a day.

He later revealed that he is used to 20 and 30 range, but he is short of money right now so he needed to get that money, lol, we cracked some jokes about it and till today we still talk about that day.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card gambling fuels gambling addiction on: September 27, 2023, 09:09:34 AM
I don't know how deep the debt on credit card gambling is today until I do my own research and mehn, and it's very sad, many people are in debt because they keep using their credit cards to fund their gambling hunger.
That's a trap for most people that don't know how to use credit cards. It is not only the gamblers that uses their credit card to fund their casino accounts but also those that keeps on swiping without paying their debt at the right time.

They think that they'll be able to pay it on time so, they're confident to just keep on using their credit cards on any purpose that they like and one of it is in gambling.

Imagine someone you know telling you that it will take him 12 years to pay off his debt, I now know why few countries don't want their citizens to gamble using their credit cards,  betting on credit cards has left too many people in thousands of debt.
It is sort of exaggerated about paying a debt for 12 years but trust me, I've known people that can't even pay their debts for more than that year and even asking for condonation and restructured payment, they still can't. That's why irresponsible usage of it will really put you on greater debt.

Which makes me think that Credit card is far more helping to fuel gambling addiction more than anything else, you don't actually have the money, but you can still gamble, this alone will make people to lose their minds and gamble anyhow.
Well, this is on the gambler themselves. Whether they have credit card or cash, as long as they have the urge to gamble, they will gamble no matter what. Let's take a look at those gamblers that don't have anything but still want to gamble, they do something to sustain that crave they have for gambling.

I'm glad I don't even like using Credit cards for gambling and my reason isn't even because of possible reckless gambling but because I don't like centralized payment solutions, you should stay away from using Credit card to gamble online, it sure would easily throw you out in the street, homeless.
Although there are too many perks that one can enjoy by owning a credit card, I choose not to own one since we're free to apply for it and the bank will just have to release it then.

I've just seen it from others that when they have it, they're like unstoppable spenders whether it's for gambling or other things they want.

If truly you've get to know people that can't ever pay their debts because the amount is enormous for them then why are you saying that paying debt for 12 years is exaggerated? In what way? Everyone knows how much they make every month, and paying back what they owe is coming from how much they make monthly, this is no exaggeration.

This fellow have wasted 30k on gambling, and he has 28,800$ left to pay back, he made not less than $300 per month, and he said he can only pay $200 back every month, do the math yourself, $200 in twelve months is $2400 and in the next 12 years that is $28,800$, I was ridiculed because of this problem he invited into his life.

I advised him to try making extra earnings, 12 years isn't a joke as he will end up working for the long term only to pay back his debt, what about his life? I advised him to figure out how to earn more money monthly because that's the only solution I can think of, it's not exaggeration,  it's something that's still fresh.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You choose the best site. 💪 on: September 27, 2023, 08:12:50 AM
Gambling is generally for everyone who have money or who don't have enough money, you can earn 20 dollars every month and gamble with $2 every month, you just need to cut your clothes to your own size.

Bitcoin is safer because it's not a gambling platform, that's a valid point but you can still lose money with Bitcoin as well, hackers can steal your coins from you if you are not very careful with what you do online.

Be responsible with everything, nothing is safe because everything carries a risk at least, not even our lives are safe, we sleep everyday and wake up the following morning, but not everyone walked up the next day, some died in their sleep.

All you need is understanding what you are getting into, understand the risks of gambling vs the risk of investing in Bitcoin, and be responsible enough to keep your financial life safe from possible never ending debts.
756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: September 27, 2023, 07:50:22 AM
Gambling starts to be less fun and very serious when you create a mindset of getting a steady income from it, I always say that if people truly understand the existence of gambling they won't tale it very seriously, it's a shame to see many people spending lots of money on gambling as if it's an investment option.

All you can do when something is all about luck is to try, there is nothing here to keep pushing hard at, this is not your business where discounts can attract more customers to your office, this is not Bitcoin investment where you can't lose your money unless you sell and take your loss.

Gambling analysis in sports games like football is not a strategy because it doesn't work most times, the luck part of gambling is always too powerful, gambling and strategy is crap, even if it works today it's luck, you don't believe me? Try again some other time, you will get your answer.

757  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Life lesson]Nothing is really free on: September 26, 2023, 10:20:13 AM
It took me quite a long time to understand that nothing is really free, to the least you will be giving away your time. If you don't find whatever you do worthy of your time, don't do it.
Time is money. This is the one thing that's always on my mind. Whenever I wake up in the morning, I always think of the things that I must do on that day, and will make me productive if I do that thing/s. For example, if I work on that day, that makes me productive.

There's no such thing as free money in this world. If only there is, we might not see poor people anymore. We aren't living in a Utopia, but we are living in a cruel world where you need something to get something in return.

Ppc, faucets and such are waste of time to earn money. If you put the same amount of time in learning some valuable skill you will earn better.
Maybe it's time to add bounty campaigns in the list, eh?

I mean for me, it's a waste of time joining into bounty campaigns already. I'm pertaining to those bounty campaigns that're paying the participants with their own native tokens. You will advertise the project, and in return you will be paid a few bucks... ohhh wait if you're lucky, you will be paid. Some if not most of the bounty campaigns aren't paying the participants, and if they are being paid, sometimes that token doesn't have any value at all. Quite unfortunate TBH.
Not yet, Bounties are still paying real money but not enough, the allocations are not worth is anymore so bounties are slowly fading away, there are few bounties that are still worth giving a try, like those projects from Julerz12, they aren't that bad, I can also see few casino campaigns paying with USDT, I believe this is better than Airdrops today.

If you are very good with finding altcoin gems I believe you will be able to avoid crap list of bounties in altcoin bounties section of the forum, for someone like me it's a piece of cake as I can easily filter the bad ones among the few good bounties.

The best bounty I saw in the altcoin section was Cocos that was renamed to Combo, that project did well in last bull market, follow the likes of Vulcan Forged and Alchemy Pay.

Maybe by next year, new projects will show up on the forum, but honestly, alts bounties are the those who are strong at the mind, many will turn to shit and few will do very well, it depend on if you are ready to take the risk.

759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards on: September 26, 2023, 08:30:43 AM
How many people are gambling using credit cards? They should try banning gambling through crypto as well if truly they want to stop their people from gambling, many gamblers around the world don't like using credit card for gambling , it's not private.

I remember in 2020 the UK gambling commission also announced a ban on credit cards for gambling payments, they claimed that some gamblers with higher level of debts are using credit cards to facilitate their gambling behaviours, I believe gamblers are gambling with borrowed money which is at a high alarming rate.

I think the same thing is happening in Australia right now, so yes I don't see anything wrong about this ban on Credit cards, they have given such gamblers a name, the problem gamblers, they believe that gambling with credit cards will lead to financial problem, too many people are in debt via loan platforms and credit card.
760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is only Bitcoin and nothing else on: September 26, 2023, 07:48:45 AM
I don't always care about the past, what is gone is gone, the only time I feel sad about my past is because it involved a lot life, I miss my father and I wish he is still here, but for anything financial, there is no point holding on to the past.

Also, those of you complaining about a coin that turned shit, would you do the same if the opposite happened? If LUNA never collapsed and it turn holders into big whales today will you all be out here complaining?

Why are we hearing about the dead coins? What about those that are still very good right even while bears are taking over the market? Any Polygon whale on here? It's was 0.004$ per Polygon years ago and holding till date still makes you a whale isn't it?

People tend to complain only when things are not going fine, we should learn to share the happy stuffs on here too, many alts are crap but not all of them will fail, you can't rely on a single coin and call it a crypto portfolio.
