741  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥BITSLER > $20,000 Wagering contest + $5,000 Free challenges + Cashback/Chests on: February 17, 2020, 03:22:23 PM
^ It is cool to see other places combining their forces together to get bigger, normally bitsler is big enough place and they normally do not need to work with anyone else and they would still make money however they want, yet in the end when they do work with others (like freebitcoin) they would definitely make a difference to their website and to other casinos as well because it would be an example. So, we are talking about a good improvement for not just bitsler or freebitcoin but to everyone in the casino world.

Only thing I always had with "freebitcoin" name is the fact that we also have a "freebitco.in" website which could be confused for people who do not know the difference, there should be some sort of notification or disclaimer that they are different two places.
742  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: February 17, 2020, 08:34:50 AM
I personally do not cash out (which is a good function, I just don't use it) because most of the time when I gambled on a sport, I watch it, I don't gamble on games I have no idea about and 99% of the time it is NBA games that I personally watch myself. It means I am literally watching the game and not on the website and not cashing out while watching, I am fully committed to be watching and at that moment I do not realize I could cash out so it just stays like that.

However, if I did remember to cash out while watching, San Antonio Spurs had bunch of games where they lead early fourth quarter but then started to lose and end up losing, so if I cashed out during their games on early fourth quarters, that would have been very profitable for me on bets that I normally lose.
Cashing out is actually a good one if you use it wisely when you have the chance, most of the time its not used on basketball but more on football, when the team you wagered on is ahead but they started to close down so they can finish the game leading instead of keep pressuring the other team, you realize that the score of 1-0 is not going to be 2-0 since they are no longer attacking and only trying to not concede any goals, which means 1-1 is a bigger possibility than 2-0 so at that moment you end up cashing out and getting a profit but than the feared happens and the team literally gets a goal scored on them. Obviously, these are not 100% guaranteed stuff, its football in the end and anything could happen but in situations like that you could make a judgement call yourself, having the option is cool.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I kept USDT on: February 17, 2020, 07:04:36 AM
Let me get it straight, you have 0.5 btc equal with USDT right now and you want to double it to 1 btc, butyou are still waiting for bitcoin's price going deeper, so you can buy more bitcoin with cheaper price with your USDT, am i right? And you will sell as soon as possible if you think the price is already high enough
This is what exactly we will be doing with fiats to double that. I know USDT is nothing new but just the crypto form of fiat so we must need to do like you have mentioned to double it. I just wonder why people are struggling to understand the use case of USDT. Before making use of any new thing, people must take time to understand for what purposes it has been introduced. Honestly I'm not having any problem in making use of USDT.

With the help of USDT, we can easily trade crypto is like how we are doing BTC/USD or BTC/EUR pairs. With USDT one of this pair will be look like BTC/USDT and nothing complex here.
744  Economy / Speculation / Re: One satoshi for $1 dollar will occur someday on: February 16, 2020, 05:23:46 PM
To everyone who keeps saying bitcoin will go up while dollar value will go down, that will definitely happen but NOT 100 MILLION PER BITCOIN. Are you guys crazy? I mean we are talking about bitcoin at 100 million dollars PER bitcoin and not marketcap, thats literally more money in marketcap than all of stock markets in usa combined! It won't nor can't happen in the 100 years from now, the inflation is not as high as you guys imagine it is, even in 100 years following today at the year of 2120 the price won't be that high because inflation is not that high.

However, the price for maybe something more realistic could happen, maybe 100k? Maybe even 1 million one day could happen but the 100 million can't, I still think even 10 million for per bitcoin can't happen in the next 50 years as well. I am even a bull for bitcoin as well, this is me being so hyped about the future of bitcoin but I am also realistic as well, know that it will go up, just not THAT much.
745  Economy / Economics / Re: Stance on bitcoin's effect towards the Global Economy on: February 16, 2020, 04:18:32 PM
I really hope one day there is a bitcoin (or any crypto) network all around the world connected to each other, I know it is impossible for one company to allow bitcoin to fiat conversion all around the world but I still hope that companies all around the world who have amazing connections of fiat/btc pair of their own nation get together and make sure people could transfer from anywhere to anywhere from fiat to btc and vice versa by not being one company for all nations (which sounds impossible but I wouldn't know) but at least many companies all connected together with partnership (which is better possibility).

I really think that is possible, all we need is bunch of companies in different nations just partnering with each other on deals like that.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project's website is asking private keys of the holders. on: February 15, 2020, 05:46:49 PM
It's not new. There are lot of threads in scam accusations reporting such projects but I guess maybe you are not that active.

There is nothing to try out with putting the private key. It's a no brainer that they will wipe out whole wallet if someone gives them the private key as long as it has some value in it.
Here is their ANN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5184083.0

I wonder how they have not been painted yet after been so idiotic to ask private keys from people and the chat support says why when you ask them questions.

its the worse scam of all. If you are holding such coin in your verto wallet you have no choice but to giveaway your private key to them.  The token is listed in p2pb2b, newdex but you can't trade it there because the team doesn't want you to.
Indeed and it feels so strange how exchanges have managed to list such tokens and I would really like to know more about this coin because I cannot find too much details about them yet Undecided.

After someone says he wants to take out the VTX out in the verto wallet the ADMIN asked WHY?
Lol that could be the meme of the year Grin.
747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Random coin picks experiment on: February 15, 2020, 02:55:13 PM
Wow! I start to love this forum.
Most welcome, you will have a lot to learn about here but please be very cautious when you enter the marketplace area.

So many quality answers I didn't expect. I appreciate your knowledge and experience. I know this strategy sounds dumb and risky, but my goal is to keep it simple and not time-consuming.
I understand that but you need to know that the altcoin market is not as liquid and solid as it used to be like an year ago or two. You might want to visit the altcoin announcement section and you will see how many new coins are coming to the scene every day.

Here you go - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0

according to this, I was thinking of how to profit without hassle. And the simplest way is to guess but set some rules. I hope it it will work
Best of luck with that but please do little home work before you buy any altcoins.
748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin about to see a strong upward move - Analyst on: February 15, 2020, 09:04:14 AM
The price has been climbing seriously. I am not the type that checks price regularly, but I checked around last two weeks or so and the price was around $9000 and then I checked after some days and was surprised when I saw that the price climbed up to $10,000+ and reached $10,500 and still going. And yes it did drop back to $10,200 but still did a rebound to $10,300.

The way I am seeing it, it’s likely that we might see another bull run that is far much bigger than the last one we had. The bulls are defending the price aggressively, and this shows that the bears has been defeated.
749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: February 15, 2020, 05:29:58 AM
My biggest winning in gambling is $1,000 at the casino by just playing baccarat, but in online gambling my biggest winning is only $100 by playing poker and slots, that is why i think it is more harder to win a huge amount of profit in online gambling that in a real life gambling because i don't usually won in gambling sites.
Playing in Casino have a lot of chance for you to win a thousands dollars compared to the other online games that you win only a hundred dollara but you can still win thousands dollars but it is very risky to continue playing because the more you play the more you lost.

I only  earned hundred dollars and not thousands dollars and next time  I play I want to earned like that of money.
Just because someone else got lucky doesn't mean you should follow them or try to chase such amounts because I am not sure what bankroll you start with but still winning $1000 would require some long lucky streaks on high multipliers maybe or maybe if you have big bankroll then you can go for some small multipliers and hope nothing goes wild.

My biggest win has always been pretty small but I never bet too big and most of the time I am on automated betting mode so not always able to find my biggest wins but should be around 0.02 btc in a single bet max.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: February 14, 2020, 07:07:30 PM
I read that there are people who are addicted in gambling but they are successfully cured from addiction, I'm interested to know what are the methods they do in order to get cured from such addiction, I use the word cured because gambling is a serious problem, I call it as a disease, so please share you experience so we can also help those who might have been experiencing an addiction right now.
I will share my experience with you all.

Initial stage: I was gambling for fun and mostly it was dice that I was gambling and I never thought any wrong would happen, I had a job in real life and I see no problem spending a part of it.

Feeling the urge: There was a time when I used to skip my job days and gamble a bit more searching for more strategies, the skip holiday I took were always loss as my job was work and get paid per day.

Addiction and Cure: Well, the addiction grew to such levels that I had to leave my job for longer and I was frustrated with gambling as I made so much loss that I used to think I should get back my loss and I will stop it, but we all know that never happens.

Finally I was able to get out of it because I was not TOO-ADDICTED and it was just that I was stuck with gambling for longer than I should have.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Illegal gambling in Asian football increased partly because of crypto? on: February 14, 2020, 05:39:48 PM
Bitcoin has certainly increased the levels of match-fixing and online betting in Asian countries because there are countries like India for instance where gambling is actually banned, (Indian laws allow skill betting but not luck based gambling) people on such countries are overjoyed by the introduction of bitcoins not because they don't have to pay taxes on bitcoins but also because bitcoin gambling casinos do not ask for any sort of ID proofs or anything and that gives such gamblers a huge advantage and when there is more betting there will obviously be more match fixing and such incidents.

Match fixing is more common because Asian countries struggle to make money and so the players from their country and hence a soft target for big gamblers.
752  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Your ideal crypto derrivatives exchange: name 5 most important features. on: February 11, 2020, 07:09:41 PM
I guess we are already having lots of crypto exchanges which are serving us with wide range of features. Still, I guess the following things are missing out when I personally look for "preferred exchange".

1. Active support on bitcointalk.
2. Mobile app for on the go trading
3. No KYC for crypto only traders
4. Ease and attractive interface
5. Speedy processing of deposit/withdraw
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Casino with 0% Edge? on: February 11, 2020, 06:35:29 PM
I just found out about this project of Casino that will be opened and it has 0% Edge and I just thought, seriously, why we pay an edge in online Casinos?

I mean in Traditional Casino they need this Edge money for all the environment and all the feeling, a lot of employees and all the little things they give to us but in Online Casino, we don't get this, so why we need to pay? For them to be rich? Just this idea really annoys me.

I really hope this project will work out!
Me either, haven't seen a casino with no edge even though some provide free bets and other perks to reduce it or we can say to attract new customers. I sometime wonder even if casinos had no edge we would still end up loosing, imagine this as betting with your friend who has 100 times the money you have and you bet with him at equal odds, still I believe he would come on top most of the times.

Some casinos apply this strategy but even more smartly like they will allow a table of gamblers where they take no edge and allow people to gamble with each other.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What p2p games will you play? on: February 11, 2020, 05:28:00 PM
I guess games where you can use you knowledge and skills as an advantage against other players. Most gambling games are all about luck and stuff. Something like arcades, racing and etc.

I am wondering if there are platforms here who cater setting a match for online games like dota, LOL, and other famous online games where players can bet on each other.
That could be massive but even though now a days you can bet on esports though you cant play the game you bet but you can bet on your favorite players and teams.

But, I guess even luck based games would be cool because betting against the house you are certain that you will lose it, but when you are betting against another gambler it makes more possible to win than to just loose. There can be games like chess which would be cool to play around and the system can make sure the matchmaking is done on the basis of MMR rating which means that high ranked players gets to play with only high ranked players and they don't destroy new/low skill players.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: February 11, 2020, 03:44:22 PM
If you are still single, you can ask someone close to you to help you out, always have a companion that will remind you when to stop. For those who are married, no other choice but its your better half who can help you out.
True, but it's harder than it seems to confess that you are into gambling addiction and the main problem is that if you are aware enough to tell your parents/family/friends then you are not actually addicted because someone who is addicted would never find enough time and energy to do so.

Its the same for those who are so much into shopping, if you have someone with you that can remind you of how much you already spent, then thats a gift from God.
I can relate this to someone who lives near me, I sometimes feel that shopping is also an addiction where you buy things that you don't need and similarly in gambling you make bets which which a healthy mindset you won't make.

Realizing your limits is sometimes really important be it gambling or any aspect of life.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALT Coins To Day Trade on: February 11, 2020, 03:02:37 PM
Any Altcoins which are having decent volume can be good for day trading. Moreover, I never recommend anyone to go for day trading because it is highly riskier than what most of the crypto adopters are doing, i.e. holding. We must need to notice here that all the altcoins are not good for holding but selective coins like reputed coins which are into markets for years could be suitable for long term holding.

Some altcoins are having good volume in only few exchanges then those coins are good for trading only in those particular exchanges and not across all other exchanges or not good for trading in general. Overall, you must need to confirm first that the coin, you are going to trade is having enough volatility within a day so that you can make some profits out of it.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most of ALTCOINS are dead or worthless? on: February 11, 2020, 02:19:55 PM
All the altcoin which were created only for the speculative reason, will definitely become dead or worthless over the time. I mean to say, an altcoin should be created with the purpose like some real life application. Without that, any coin will definitely cannot sustain.

Token is something different which is like acting as a stock market for a project . Similarly altcoins also can act like a stock market but the corresponding project must be having real life application so that it can grow in value. If devs are looking for making money by selling the coin then that altcoin will end up becoming worthless.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An issue has arisen on Bitcoin SV and Bitcoin Cash nodes. on: February 11, 2020, 08:20:19 AM
Despite that, the Bitcoin SV market is the fifth largest in the market right now, it keeps rallying up. I have never been a fan of this coin because I don't like the founder, Craig Wright, and all the drama he's been putting up lately from claiming that he's Satoshi Nakamoto and to saying that there is a problem with Bitcoin and saying that Bitcoin will die in January, but that never happened.

All these are quite annoying and I have decided not to put interest in him or his coin. I can even remember that Jimmy Wales once said that Bitcoin SV offers nothing and maybe that's true. It's rallying up now and we don't know about tomorrow, it can still fall.
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: February 11, 2020, 06:39:59 AM
I would say that anyone who invests in Bitcoin without knowing that it is volatile would probably think that it is a scam if the price should fall and they lose their money.

I have seen a lot of people that didn't know anything about Bitcoin and just jumped into it because of what they were told by their friends and when they ended up losing money they started saying that Bitcoin is a scam. And yes there are people who are afraid to use Bitcoin due to the volatile nature, they are afraid that they may lose their money if they save it in a crypto wallet. And there are also people who are ready to take that risk, everyone's not the same.
760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: February 11, 2020, 06:09:13 AM
Cryptocurrency is not a protector, crime solver or whatever you think it is, it's just about transaction and making it easy and cheap. It does not make a country a safe place to live or maybe reduce crime rate, that can't happen.

Yes, you're right about the economy level affecting the level of crime, because some people, when they are not able to Meetup with providing for their daily needs, they choose to be committing crime such as armed robbery, selling illegal stuff, etc. as a way to provide for themselves. But do you think that cryptocurrency can solve that or make our economy better? If the world should start making use of cryptocurrency, what kind of change would it bring?
