741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: December 07, 2017, 07:38:53 AM
it is. It does matter. just imagine your self if you are new in a game and you still have no idea on how the game is going and no techniques yet. though not in all games technique applies but i know for sure experience will do a lot in playing or gambling.
Of course experience will always help when we play games but its not an assurance that we still win. No matter how good and long our experience with gambling still its a 50/50 chance of winning.
There is no such thing as 50/50 chances if you are playing games with house edge, choose your game so you can increase your chances and having 50/50 is not good because you will just get bored in the long run, always aim for games where you can use your skills to make you profitable in the long run. Games like Poker and sports betting are good example, if you are good in one of the two, you have a chance to be profitable.
I think that experience matters but along with that luck plays very crucial role in gambling. It doesn not matter how experienced you are If luck is not with you losing in gambling is very much certain. In few games experience required but in some other games definitely luck is required.

Experience will just help us to determine whether the game is worth continuing or not, we woll know on what result the situation would take, having experience will not indicate you'll win the game it might only lesses loses that may occurs.
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: December 07, 2017, 06:26:28 AM
Its weird but i believe in superstision especially if i gamble in a land base casino or playing online. I always rely in my horoscope if im going to win if i gamble this day and i followed the lucky numbers, colors and even bought a lucky charm recommended for me. However i know that it has nothing to do with your faith whatever your business is but believing in superstition doesnt bad at all.
It is really fun when you gamble with some ritual rather than straight to play it .
I do believe that it gives you a lot of fun but i do not believe it could make you win or something like that.
As long as that superstition makes you comfortable , noone have rights to stop you doing that.

True! And let me add on that, as long as while you are exercising your rights, you have not transgressed on the rights of others, there is no stopping you from believing and putting into actions all those superstitions. There are people who laboriously rely on superstitions when gambling and they may say it caused their winnings. But you know what, sometimes you create your own luck. It is not totally because of the superstitions you shovelled yourself into. Just so to be fair on all sides, to each his own.
Superstitions help people to gain more confident , since they believe on such a winning factor caused by anything you do.
They will always thinking positively , and at least with that way it has a little bit influence into the way you making bet , it might make you cooler and patient.
You might get lost at some point but with the superstitious action you have you won't get rushed to make a madness bet.
Sometimes what we think is wrong and being superstitious does not really affect our winning chance in gambling.
We can always have fun with being  superstitious but in the end we will still belong to the losers, what is even worst is when we keep doing what we believe will give us a win when it's pretty obvious that we will not win against a house edge.

Yep, it's too good to predict somehow that when we bet this amount we could get that amount, it's easy to convince ourselves but not the game, sometimes or most often it didn't come to a point we want it to be, so when we already make sure to enjoy it,it will not happen everday.
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people still play dice? on: December 07, 2017, 05:22:05 AM
From my experience. I still like dice over other games aside from sports betting. My reason is dice is very simple to play you don't need to do some complicated things. You just  click and roll then wait for the result and dice was my very first game to play here in crypto  that's why i like it even if i lose sometimes but that's ok because dice for me is a game of chance. If i won i will be happy and if i lost just forget about it.
Dice is too much loved by the people because it has a very old history such as other games of the same time like ludo, chess etc. and also these games are very fun to play. One can easily understand all the tricks being used in such games and these are the best time killer games. Dice like other casino games is totally luck dependent game and a great amount of suspense is hanging between both the players.

It still fascinating to play, especially when testing luck and killing time, when you'rewaiting frong long lines or from appointments,it's still thrilling especially when we bet some huge amount but still be careful since btc value is much better for investment at this moment, it was hard to resist still playing dice.

745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin gambling is legal? on: December 06, 2017, 10:13:24 PM
Some bitcoin casinos are legal. If a bitcoin casino is operated in the same manner as a traditional casino, it will fall under the same laws as if it is a traditional casino. There are no federal laws against online gambling. However, there are some state laws prohibiting the practice.
Where ever the gambling is banned there bitcoin gambling is also banned. but no one can find us easily so people play bitcoin gambling and there is no legal and illegal matter in online gambling.
You have different kind of regulations in different countries. I think in some islamic countries gambling is forbitten in general and this totally independent of whether for money or not.

Then you have countries where it is forbitten to gamble for money, but if bitcoin is not considered as money and in most countries it is not, then gambling for bitcoin is legal.

However, there are few gambling sites like Jetwin where you can play with anonymous accounts and bitcoin is basically anonymous as well.
Many gambling sites were made to have anonymous player in this way we can play without anyone knowledge that we are in gambling since there's no system they can fins it, governments were not aware yet that gambling online can be easily play as long as we have cryptos.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🚀 Adbank 🤖: The New World Currency of Online Advertising on: December 06, 2017, 02:14:00 PM
Very interesting project and I believe it has more potential than ADX
It is too early to judge and conclude. Let's just for the outcome then decide. This ICO must not compare to others because Adbank has it's own AI tech that can detect genuine viewers which is interesting. I will love to see some beta version of their product soon. And maybe if the beta is successful, this ICO will end in a short period of time.

If you have management skills in real world, Wala kng magiging problema.

Make something great first then show your past failures if you became successful na. Kahit si Jack Ma ay hindi pinagkakalat ung mga failure nya nung sinisimulan pa lng nya gawin ang Alibaba.  Pero payo ko lng nmn sayo yan at wag mung masamain. GTG and Goodluck Wink

Ok, that looks like a scam to me:

1. No working products

2. No technical specs in the whitepaper about the coin

3. Funding is 8.5 mln already, but there are no wallet addresses you can check

4. Sent some funds but did not receive any coins, and no reply from support

Be careful with this one

Goodluck. What do you mean by working product? This project is still in ICO. And this currency is for business transaction purposes. Try to contact facebook support. Or PM me so that I can forward your message to the dev team.

757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ETT]EncryptoTel: Secure VoIP and B2B blockchain communications infrastructure on: December 05, 2017, 01:14:14 AM
So nothing has changed about officially having tokens on both WAVES and ETH?

RE: https://medium.com/@encryptotel/encryptotel-why-waves-and-why-ethereum-fe3bc7955f1e

Good price on $ETT eth right now if so.
Still nothing. I hope there will be more changes but it cones with good announcements this coming Q1 so we xan expect a good prise rise with that matter.
The price improvement was just for awhile, we cannot say that people are already investing with ETT because if you look at the https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/encryptotel-eth/, the volume was still very low, less than $20,000 24 hours trading volume is not good for me, I want 100 bitcoins to convince myself that our investment is growing.

Look at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/deeponion/, this is just a project who gives an airdrop but they have an increasing volume, I mean can we also improve our community? let's make it more active.

Encryptotel and Deeponion have a different current situation right now, ETT is a dual-chain coin that makes them hard to list on a major exchange because the swap solution is still pending for almost half a year. You will notice that all dual-chain coin is now sucked at listing that result on low trading volume. But I heard that swap solution will be finished within this month and maybe this will the game changer for this coin but without swap solution, I'm still out for this even how many partnerships they had.  Grin

    Hello, manager!
I'm sorry, Sir, but I really don't understand why you didn't count my 2nd week? The spreadsheet number 85.
    Please, check my report!
    Thank you in advance

Relax, The sheet is not yet updated, Do you see 0 stakes in your record?? If it is still blank then it is not yet updated

    Hello, manager
I have already written to you about this (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2408654.msg25685925#msg25685925), but somebody copy/paste my comment.
So, I'd like to know why you didn't count my 2nd week? The spreadsheet number 200. It's crossed.
    Thank you!

I already put a Legend on the sheet. X means you joined near the cut-off date and you are not eligible for the stakes on that week.

Is there a table of company members twitter? I wanted to register yesterday, but I do not remember if it did or did not.

Yes, It is located on #2 Post of this bounty thread. Please take a look.

I had mistake in the report: i put my reposts links for 3 week into the week 2 section.
Now i fix it. Please count my reposts for 3 weeks.
My line in the facebook spreadsheet is #211
Link to the report post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2408654.msg25318097#msg25318097

    Rules is rules. See here:

    • Don't post another report weekly, Just edit your first weekly post until the end of the campaign, Those who will not comply will receive no stake at the end of the campaign. Take note also to the date of submission of report

But maybe I can consider on my next update.  Wink
